Cyborg sighed as he waited for Raven to come out of her trance. He knew she would be fully healed when she returned but that seemed to be taking forever.

He then looked at the document Robin had given him. It said that the trio that had rescued Raven were her cousins, the question was how would she take the news of these family members she had been clueless about. He knew Robin was going to bring the trio to the tower once Raven was awake and up to speed on the situation but Cyborg was worried she'd reject them or at least be extremely wary of them.

He leaned his elbows on his knees to wait for Raven.

"Robin, what's going on?" Beast Boy asked.

"Those three… they're… this doesn't seem real and I took the samples I did the tests, they are her cousins."

"Wait… whoa… back up… they are Raven's cousins? How is that possible?" Beast Boy stammered in surprise.

"Raven always thought there was a chance she had human relatives here on Earth, her mother was taken from Gotham to Azerath shortly after she found out she was pregnant with Raven." Robin explained. "She only came to Earth as a teenager and apparently didn't ask her mother about the potential that she could encounter any family members who could realize who she was to them.at."

"So as crazy as it sounds she was rescued by her cousins." Beast Boy surmised.

"Exactly, question is why were they in Jump City to begin with, their last known address is in Central City before that Dakota then Gotham… obviously."

"Dakota, didn't you say they're meta-humans… could they be what Dakota natives call bang babies?"

"Probably, none of the other members of the Roth family are Metas so that's the going theory that they were exposed to big bang gas and that's how they got their powers." Robin replied "Raven got her powers from Trigon."

Robin turned away from Beast Boy.

"All I can figure is they came seeking her… looking for Raven." Robin sighed "After all this time they're reaching out for her... Maybe to form the familial bonds they were denied with her being born and raised where she was."

"But why… as you said she has been here for a while, why did they not do the looking sooner?" Starfire asked

"I don't know, maybe they weren't sure… they said they only found the pictures of Angela Roth recently. That was what started this whole thing in motion. That and that one picture of Raven without her hood. Maybe that's how they finally saw the resemblance and started asking questions." Robin surmised.

"That one that came to the tower looked a lot like Raven." Beast Boy reminded them.

"Exactly, Raven almost always wears her hood in battle, which is when most people see her. So until that surfaced they didn't know what Raven looked like." Robin sighed.

That made sense, Raven was the most private of the titans, she wasn't often seen around town when they weren't on a mission.

Raven came out of the trance and finally began to try to piece together what had happened in that crater. She honestly had no recollection of hitting the ground, she must have blacked out for a moment upon impact, but why did she black out again? Did it have something to do with the child? Though child wasn't exactly a fair assessment of the girl she'd seen. Raven estimated the girl was in her early to mid teens.

The last thing Raven could recall clearly was making eye contact with her. The younger girl's espresso colored eyes had been sympathetic as if she could feel the pain Raven had been in at that moment. Then it dawned on Raven what must have happened. The girl was a telepath or at least an empath like herself, but she wasn't trained enough to reach her full potential, otherwise she likely could have healed her rather than the merely rendering her unconscious. That was a move made out of sympathymercy because she couldn't heal the cause of her pain so she pushed her back into unconsciousness where at least she didn't feel the pain.

"Rae… good… you're awake." Cyborg said in relief.

"Yeah… that… what happened?"

"That's what we want to know, you've bounced back from worse hits than that, even after…"

"No, Cyborg, that hit was bad, I… I blacked out for at least a full minute before I was pulled out…"

Then Cyborg remembered the survey he'd done on the area she'd hit. The concrete she'd gone through was strong, structural grade concrete reinforced with rebar and she'd made a rather impressive crater in it. He had been optimistic to think she could have ever bounced back from that. If she had been left to her own devices she might have been able to heal herself enough to rejoin the fight, but at great personal risk. The truth was it had been better this way.

"You're right I just…" he sighed

Robin entered the room before she could comment on what Cyborg was about to say.

"Raven, you're up…"

"Yes, now I need a shower…"

"Raven before that there are things you need to know about the people that saved you."

"I know that at least one of them is a meta… empath or telepath I'm not entirely sure. I just know she has had a criminal lack of training." She growled slightly then calmed "But she did a lot of good for me considering how untrained she is. If I had remained conscious I likely would have done more damage to myself. I hate to admit it but she did the right thing knocking me out."

" Actually all three are metas, and your right Amanda is a telepath and under trained but they've had trouble finding anyone to teach them." Robin commented looking down at the linoleum as if the way to best say what he had to say was somewhere in its pattern.

"Robin what is it you aren't you telling me?" Raven demand in a cool monotone.

"Raven, those three… they came into Jump City and set up their home base where they did for a reason…" he paused "I don't even know if I'm doing this right but do you remember that time you told me that you suspected your mother might have family left in Gotham?"

"Yes, I remember, Robin, damn it quit beating around the bush!"

"It's confirmed, those three… they're your cousins." He paused "The reason they set up in Jump City was they wanted to find you."
