Here's the next chapter everyone, we've hit number 18 and this one will also be interesting as it'll be something I've never done before, but have seen others do.

Big shout out to Pyrojack on cowriting and editing this story, we really do have a kick ass time working on this piece and hope you all enjoy the work and effort we put into it.

Also I have seen the new episodes of Helluva Boss, really hope they bring and show more of Octavia really soon, and on the bright side, those episodes will give out some inspiration.

A forewarning, after this chapter, it'll begin a series of events. You all thought that fight Donner had with that giant robot (which was a Metal Gear reference.) was trippy and awesome? Well, your all gonna be in for a big surprise.

So with that being said, lets begin this chapter shall we?

As of right now we see a hooker at Destiny's bar and the host was currently paying the money that was owed. From the sidelines we see Mitty watching this with an unimpressed look.

"You better not screw me out of my money." The hooker said in a russian accent.

"Believe me, baby. I'm not one to back on anything..." Destiny told the woman.

"Oh yeah, what about the rumor about you knocking up random bitch huh?"

"I already told you that was the guy we were with." They held their hands up defensively. "He was fucking my brains out just as much as I was to them."

"Just give me money ok? I got work to do."

"Yes, yes. Here you go." Destiny presented the cash up front, even adding more to the pot. "I'll even give you a tip if you want it."

"No fuck off." She playfully waved hm off taking the money before walking off. "I see you next week." As she did Mitty shook his head.

Meow

"Oh shut up, Mitty." The host glares down at their pet cat.

Meow

"Now?"

Meow

The cat motions over to the readers/audience. "Ah, I see." Destiny hops over the bar counter and lands on a barstool. "Well, nice to see you all again. I take it you're itching to know what's going to happen next like me and Mitty huh?"

Meow

"Speak for yourself, pussycat."

The cat rolled its eyes before laying on his side. "Now with that being said, let's say for this one we skip ahead of recounting what happened. Because we all know exactly what happened."

The cat looked up to it in confusion.

Meow?

"Yeah, let's just do that this time. Because we've been itching to know what happens to our boy right?"

Meow

Mitty gets up giving Destiny an answer by slapping its tail onto the tv turning it on. We zoom into the screen of the old tv where we see the title.

Helluva Servant Chapter/Episode 18

Pandemonium Part 1

As of the moment we see Charlie doing a bit of paperwork in her office. To say things lately have been busy has been an understatement. They just got a few new sinners checking in, and not to mention the couple of leads that Donner provided for them have been very helpful. Not to mention the maintenance he, and the twins did for the hotel. It was a godsend for them to come at an opportune time. Thanks to them the hotel looks presentable enough for guests to come and go. Even if a few of them are a little unruly.

But on one bright side they managed to find a cook for the hotel! Now it wasn't just Nifty, but now they had more help. Not to mention some of the sinners pitched in as staff members. Right now, she was looking over some possible new additions. While doing so, a knock was heard on the door. "Come in."

Charlie kept her focus on the work, the one who entered was Vaggie who had a small tray that had a drink and a small snack. "Hey..."

"Hey, Vaggie." The princess of Hell smiled.

"How's it going?"

"So far so good." Charlie stopped as her girlfriend walked over to her. "How about you? How are the new additions?"

"Surprisingly good..." Vaggie replied giving Charlie the tray. "A few of them are still adjusting, putting up a bit of attitude. But other than that alright I guess."

"Well, that's good to hear...Hey, guess what? I think we're close to starting to get some security for this place."

"Seriously? That would be great."

"I know...By the way did we send Donner that birthday gift?"

"Uh yeah, unfortunately it arrived there the day before." The sinner said in annoyance. "But I hope he's doing alright."

"Same...Hey, you know we should call him and see if he wants to help out with here again." Charlie went into thought. "Him and the twins. They'd be able to help give the staff some training and pointers."

"Maybe." Vaggie was fine with the idea, but at the same time knew that one of them had beef against Angel Dust. Same as she did with him, so that was a plus. "Maybe we can convince him to bring the princess."

"Wait..." Charlie held back the urge to laugh. "You want to bring Princess Octavia here? Yeah, I don't think that's a good idea. We'd also have to keep Alastor off of him."

"I know, but it's always nice to talk to other nobles who aren't well. Like her mom."

"Vaggie..."

"What? It's true."

"Hey Char?" They both turned to see it was Angel Dust. "We have a problem..."

"What'd you do this time?" Vaggie already knew she wasn't gonna like this.

Angel dust rolled his eyes. "First off, toots, I didn't do anything, but you might wanna tune in for this one in the living room." The spider sinner said before walking off confusing the two female demons catching up with him.

In the main room we could see Husk, Nifty and other new staff members where they were all watching the tv. Angel Dust just got comfortable on the couch giving the housekeeper the signal to un-pause the tv now that the owner and manager were present.

666 news comes into view where two very prominent demons are on display. One of which made Charlie cringe because of her bad ties.

One was a tall, slim, pale-skinned female demon. She has short, light-blonde hair that flairs out into an almost fan-like shape, with swept to the side bangs. She has rose-red eyes with small, white pupils. Her neck is long, mirroring her thin torso, and she has a large, round head. She was wearing a short, rose-red dress with a low-cut sweetheart neckline, long-sleeves, and shoulder pads. When she moves in a sudden way, cracking sounds can be heard coming from her body.

Sitting right next to her was a male demon with blonde hair wearing a gas mask, including a grey suit with a white collared shirt, what appears to be black gloves, a red tie, and a red pocket square.

"Good afternoon, folks I'm Katie Killjoy."

"And I'm Tom Trench, and today we have quite an interesting treat for you all today."

"That we do, because the entire nobility of hell is in a state of uproar."

"As for the reason for the uproar, well you all remember the whole supposed scandal with Prince Stolas of the Ars Goetia right? Well, turns out there's more trouble for that sorry owl."

"Yep, that's right Tom and the whole cause of this is one small little bird. Currently we have Rip Banger on the scene right now at the Infernal Courthouse. Rip?"

We changed the scenery to show a news reporter that looked like a very fat frog with brown skin and dozens of warts on his body wearing an expensive yellow looking suit. All around you could see angry noble demons gathered around while there were other lower-class demons joining in to bear witness.

"Kattie, right now as you can see behind me, almost all of Hell's hierarchy and monarchy are present. Including the lower-class demons that stand below them. Right now, we are waiting for the fucker that' caused all of this."

Right then behind the demons were starting to act up as the camera turned around to show an armored vehicle approaching. Demons in SWAT armor walked out of the van, opening the passenger seat to show Donner in a collection of cuffs. "Yep, here he is." The frog demon said while Charlie and Vaggie's eyes widened in shock.

"Wait, that's Donner!" The princess of hell was shocked to see this watching as he was getting moved and at the same time there were guards trailing their weapons on the teen who riffled up the noble demons. Many were cursing out to him and others were throwing rocks, anything they could use.

He didn't flinch, stepping forward to the best of his abilities while the men trained their weapons on the chained thunderbird.

"Yep, for those who watched the news a few days ago, you might recognize him as the kid who fought with a giant robot here in Pentagram City demolishing the thing. But get this, now he's the top and only suspect for the mass murder of the Obscures noble family."

XXXX

We now cut to see Howling Moon Records and all the employee's watching the tv among them of course being Miguel and Rocky.

"As many of you know, the Obscures Family's manor was destroyed, the authorities have spent days trying to find a lead on the killer but didn't get much success. The trail had run cold until now."

Because of how bad the crowd was getting the guards had to get around Donner and shield him from the incoming projectiles and naturally the demons on the sides were outraged by that.

"Papi?" Rocky looked to his dad in worry. The only thing Miguel could do was put a hand on his pup's shoulder feeling the same way as his pup did.

"The only thing we do know is that this kid's name is Donner, the bodyguard of Stolas Goeita's heir Octavia Goeita. A lot of you viewers remember the video that first sparked his attention after killing Zane Obscurese bodyguard who also turned out to be Princess Octavia's Ex suitor."

XXXX

We then cut to see the IMP headquarters Building where we see Loona watching the tv with Millie and Moxxie who were equally as shocked and surprised to see what was happening.

"Now normally, murder down in hell is normal. But like the old saying, when you go up the wrong tree, well you pay the price."

The camera continues to follow Donner as he enters the very large courthouse going up the steps.

"All I can say is right now, I'm glad I ain't in his shoes. Katie back to you."

"Thank you, Rip. You ugly old bag." Katie smiled, unabashedly insulting the reporter. "Now, the court hearing for the kids' sentencing will be held in two days' time. But honestly, we don't really give a shit, he either kicks the bucket or not. Which would most likely be the first thing. We all know what's gonna happen. Because who gives a fuck about a kid and his rich bitch any day of the week?"

"I thought the robot fight was bad ass though." Tom admitted.

"Oh Tom...please get a fucking life."

XXXX

The TV shuts off and we see Octavia throwing the remote aside, punching a pillow. "Dammit! Dammit!" To say that the poor girl was angry would be selling it shorter than that Karen's filthy mouth. This whole situation is bullshit and no one's doing anything about it. From the side Merida sighed sadly putting a hand on the poor girl's shoulder. She was having just a hard time wrapping her head around this as she was. "Merida...there has to be something we can do..."

"I truly wish there was, my lady." The boney head maid frowned.

"Is there any way we'd be able to get Donner legal though?"

"I'm sure it'll be possible."

"Unfortunately, that won't be able to happen..." Both of them turned around to see Stella walking alongside a very frustrated Stolas.

"And why not?" Octavia glared at her father, demanding an explanation.

"Because of the nature of this case that's why." Stella answered. "No one in their right mind would even think about defending someone who slaughtered demon royalty."

Turning her attention to her mother. She stood up and marched toward the shrew. "He did not kill anyone!"

"That's yet to be seen." She wasn't so convinced.

"As much as it pains me to say this, your mother is right, no one will want to." Stolas said, every word in his voice is filled with disappointment and frustration.

"What!?" Octavia couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Dad, you can't be serious!"

"I truly wish I was lying, sweetheart." He told his daughter.

"But now comes the issue of resolving the situation." Stella chimmed in throwing in the facts. "In spite of what you think, I have nothing to do with that incident. All of that is caused through the other noble demons paying them off not to defend him."

"Of course, they fucking would." Octavia scoffed at that. Those assholes would do anything if it meant they stay on top.

"Could it be possible to find anyone that can help our situation?" Merida inquired. "My prince, what about Bruns? He has many connections. Surely he can aid us with this."

"I could, but this'll be difficult even for him." Stolas admitted. "For as resourceful as he is, it's him and his family against an entire community."

"Is he able to do it or not?" Stella questioned in annoyance. "If not then this is a waste of time..."

"I don't know..." Stolas retorted back. "I'll make the call right away." As he was going Stella turned to Octavia.

"In Spite of what you are feeling and what is happening. Octavia, you should do yourself a favor and prepare yourself for the inevitable."

"I'll keep that in mind..." Octavia started to walk off with Merida in tow.

"Octavia, I'm not saying that because of my distaste..." Stella called out. "For whatever reason you do seem to care about his well-being, it'll only hurt more if you choose to accept it."

"I appreciate what you're trying to do, but right now I don't need it." The owl girl said.

And soon she just walked away. She is really frustrated now more than ever. None of them are doing anything to help and she's just sitting there twiddling her thumbs and Octavia couldn't stand it.

"Octavia what do you plan on even doing?" Merida inquired.

"Even though on what they said no one will help him. There has to be someone."

The owl girl started into thought. "I mean, whatever other choice do we have? If no one is going to do it, we have to find someone ourselves."

"And if we cannot, what then?"

"I don't know...But we have to try."

Right now, we switch locations and as of the moment we see an imp marching his way to the interrogation room. On the other side of the glass while two demons were talking to Donner inside of the box.

"What'd I miss?"

"Nothing yet Lawrence, you got here just in time." Another chubbier imp answered.

The officer, called Lawrence, was definitely an Imp that stood out. Like many imps, he stood about as average as any other of his kind, short. He had his hair dyed black, done in a crew cut. His black and white horns curled around his head, like a ram. He had a leaner build than his colleague and had white spots on his hooves and knuckles.

He's dressed in a navy-blue button up shirt, with a couple buttons undone and the sleeves rolled up and black slacks. A gun holster wrapped around his right hip and another one behind him. Most noticeable thing is the police badge wrapped around his neck by a necklace.

Lawerence looked at the bird boy in question; he was just sitting there very calmly. Odd because most his age would be freaking out.

"How long has he been sitting there?" He asked the fat imp.

"I don't know...Kind of weird though, isn't it? He's not even showing any signs of being nervous."

"A little." The detective admitted. "But with how these knuckleheads are interrogating him, they're never getting anything out of him anyway."

"How have they been treating him?"

"About as much as you'd expect from anyone in this precinct. Like a moronic child who can't speak a lick of English. Figuring that smacking him around would work."

"And has that worked?"

"No, the kid's been quiet since they first brought him in. He did answer the questions, but other than that, that's about it."

"So why are they doing this then?" The chubby copper wondered, looking at the blood red eyes of his superior.

"Either under the false pretense that he's either lying or hiding more facts. One of them was paid to press their luck. Or just for the hell of it." Lawrence gave the man his three guesses.

"Right now, we got two guys coming in right now." The door opened from the side and two demons entered. "Ah, here we are."

One of them sat down while the other got behind Donner. "Hello Donner."

"..." He didn't respond, he just stared at them as if he was trying to learn and observe.

"We'd like you to ask you a few questions, if you don't mind." His brutish partner stated. Lawrence himself sighs, knowing where this is going. Predictable.

"If this is about what happened, you're only going to have the same answers as before." Donner said in a matter of fact. "You're only wasting time."

"Yeah, likely claim, kid." The brute scoffed.

"Take it how you will. I standby what I have said."

Lawrence raised an eyebrow. A straight calm answer without hesitating. What's surprising is with how not intimidated he was by the brute. Not to mention his demeanor was professional. "Now Boulder." The officer next to him settled his partner down. "Look it's very simple, tell us exactly what we need to know and we won't have too much of a problem."

"If you want to play the game by all means." Donner shrugged. "I'm evidently a turkey so baste me." He said sarcastically.

"Okay smart ass, you wanna play. Let's play."

"Oh great." Lawrence sighs in annoyance.

"This ought to be good." The fat imp standing right next to him said as he took a bite out of a burger.

"Play what? Chess?" Donner shrugged stoically.

"You know damn what we're talking about!" The large one said.

"Oh, you mean twenty questions."

The interrogator wasn't amused by this. "Boulder!" He told him off.

"What's the matter? Rocks tumbling over for your pal? I was only trying to find a game to play. Like arm wrestling!"

"How mature...Yeah very mature fellas." Donner rolled his eyes. "Do you both practice in the mirror in your tighty whities?"

"Excuse me?!" The big demon stood from his seat, kicking it away, crashing against the bullet proof glass.

Both Lawrence and the chubby imp exchanged a glance while Donner wasn't intimidated. "Oh, I must've hit a mark. Score one for me."

"Shut up and answer the damn questions you little brat!" Boulder snarled at the little avian demon.

"I'm the brat? Yeah, that's a good one." Donner replied, still not bothered. "Were you not breast fed enough?"

"Boulder, leave. Now." His partner ordered him sternly.

"Yeah, let your partner do the talking. Seems like that's all he's good for."

"Damn...he really knows how to push buttons huh?" The chubby imp said with a mouthful at Lawrence who kept watching the interaction and Donner's body language.

"Interesting." He mumbled.

Boulder scoffed walking away and now his partner rocks was now speaking. "Alright, lets restart this whole thing over shall we?"

"We already did." Donner said in an unamused tone.

"What were you doing prior to the murder?" The calmer officer questioned the boy.

The green bird was definitely getting tired of this line of questioning.

"At a party." But no less he decided to play along. "As I said."

"What time?"

"7:00."

"Who can vouch for your claim?"

"Milady, she was with me. As well as a few friends, we were at Howlin Moon Records celebrating an anniversary party for the shop."

"Octavia Ars Goetia?"

"Yes."

"He's not getting anywhere with this." Lawrence sighs once again, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "No matter how many times you ask, it's the same thing."

"Are you going to continue wasting time here?" Donner questioned. "You can ask milady herself, you can ask my master, you can ask my friends. They all knew where I was. At that party."

"You're not very cooperative right now."

"And again, you're wasting time. Are we going to keep continuing to play this game?"

"As long as it takes for this issue to be resolved." Rocks answered.

"I thought you detectives were supposed to be smart." Donner retorted towards the man in front of him.

"Do you wish to continue on with this?"

"Do you?" Donner replied back. "Because I do believe I'm supposed to have a lawyer."

"From what I hear, there's not a single one available."

"That's a bold face lie." The detective behind the glass stated. "High society paid them off."

"Considering who's out there? I already know the reason why." Donner sighed, having just about enough. "So either we're not getting anywhere, or you can take your partner and go fuck him in the ass behind the building."

"Have it your way." Rocks sighs having had enough of the prisoner's attitude. "Boulder go ahead."

"Oh joy, next round."

"Like I said, wasting time." Lawrence puts it bluntly.

"Ohoho, don't mind if I do..." Boulder said before bringing out a large knife.

"You don't want to do this." Donner commented.

"Oh, but I do!" He marches up towards Donner. "How about we make sure you don't spawn any more little shits!?"

"He's not really gonna-?" The rotund cop looks on worry

"Yes Porky. Yes he is." The detective frowned, not liking the escalation of the situation.

The larger demon tried to grab Donners pants but instead the avian teen raised up his legs catching the arm and twisted it making Boulder scream out in pain. But it was what Donner did next that took them by surprise, he lunged forward and bit off the three middle fingers which spewed out blood three mini fountains.

"Woah!" The detective's red eyes bulged in surprise.

"Holy shit on a stick!" Porky drops his burger in shock.

They watched as Boulder screamed holding out his damaged hand while Rocks rushed over to his side and as he was gonna go towards Donner, he merely spat the three appendages right to his face. "Ok, that's it! Let's get them out of here fatty." Lawerence saw enough and the said fat imp followed him.

The two quickly rushed in and quickly Lawrence grabbed Rocks while Porky grabbed Boulder. "You two get going!"

"He bit off my fucking fingers!"

"You tried to cut my nuts asshole!" Donner retorted.

"Alright, alright that were out of line " Lawrence points to Boulder who continued clenching his hand and then over to Donner. "And you calm down."

"Oh, I'm perfectly calm." Donner rhetorically said sarcastically as Lawrence picked up the fingers. "Just peachy."

"Both you, out."

The three imps did as was told, Lawrence tossed the fingers over to Porky who caught the dismembered parts. Now that they were alone Lawrence sat down. "I apologize, what he did was out of line."

"No shit."

"You're Donner, right?"

"Yeah..." Donner replied, giving the imp an unsure look. "Who's asking?"

"I'm detective Lawrence Nash." The young patrolman introduced himself. "I'd like to ask you a few questions."

"Depends on what they might be." The avian teen replied. "What can I answer for you?"

"About the recent incident you were involved in." The little imp answered.

"Oh geez..." Donner rolled his eyes in annoyance. "I answered a lot already...ok?"

"I understand, sir." He nodded. "Though I prefer to hear more from your side. Most of these people are probably paid off even when the judge said otherwise."

"And you aren't? Yeah, I'm not so sure."

"Yeah." Lawrence scoffed. "Not like they were paying attention to what happened. Or if they were asking eyewitnesses what really happened. Yeah, a lot of people in Hell would laugh at some imp with a badge. Especially when they think this is a joke."

Donner hummed at that thought. "And what do you think when you see me?"

"Someone who's been down on his luck." The imp in blue nodded his head at some of the visible scars. "From what I've read and seen, you don't attack unless provoked.

"And they heard right." Donner commented. "What else might you have on me?"

"Well from what I've read on your file you've been brought in by Prince Stolas. For so long you were respectable from what the other witnesses I've spoken with told me. But one thing stands out. Lady Goetia's accusations."

"Humor me then." Donner crossed out his arms. "So? What is it?"

"Well she claims you were gaslighting her daughter. Going so far as to state you tried to attack her." Detective Nash detailed, although the way he said it sounded rather doubtful. "Now I'll have to admit that was a load of bull."

Donner held back the urge from laughing. "I swear to freakin Lucifer and God, that crazy woman comes up with all kinds of crap. Not just her, but every single royal in this place wanting me to get filled with lead." He shakes his head. "I take my role as bodyguard seriously."

"As I've seen." The imp nodded. "So how exactly did this situation transpire? I've seen the machine myself, Hell anyone in Sloth might've seen it. But I didn't understand until the chief ordered me to aid in this trial."

"Simple, me and two other associates got ambushed, we managed to lose them and we lured the schmucks to one of my safehouses. Had a shootout, plan worked out, perfectly luring them in there, by bombing the place burying them in it. Then, at the last minute, a big giant robot comes out of nowhere."

"All in that order?"

"Yeah..." Donner shook his head, seeing no problem with it as much and crazy as that shit sounded, it was all true. "Ask my associates."

"I have." He stated matter of factly. "And what they've told me lines up with what you've said. Multiple suspects assaulted you and you did what you could to defend yourselves. And from what I understand one of them is unaccounted for."

"The one who piloted the giant robot, that's who." Donner said sarcastically.

"Yes." Lawrence nodded. "I'm doing what I can to look into it. But for some reason the chief and some of my colleagues keep telling me to let it go. It's really starting to bother me."

"And there's your obvious red fucking flag." Donner said, holding up one finger. "That's a sign telling you to shut the fuck up, or they'll kill you."

"Which is why I'm doing much of the case in my dad's garage." The imp told the thunderbird as quietly as possible.

Donner snorted, holding back a laugh. "Admirable."

"What would you have me do?" He questioned. "Hide it all in my closet hoping to Lucifer my partner or anyone else who doesn't know about it sees it? I've got a small apartment, man. I have nowhere else to cover a wall full of evidence."

"You got any family?" Donner raised an eyebrow.

"I've got a dad in Wrath, cousins all over the place. As for Greg, my partner, he's like a brother to me."

"Then all the more reason you should back off." Donner leans back into the wall

"I can't do that. There's a lot going on here and I wanna know why." Lawrence looked up to the teen determination in his glowing yellow eyes.

"Buddy..." Donner leaned forward looking the imp directly into the eye. "You think this all a big game of cops where justice prevails? Because it ain't and those fucking nobles out there want to see me on a fucking stake. You get further involved; you'll only get a target painted on your back. So, if you care for the least and slightest about your life and family, you ought to let it go for their sake. But don't get wrapped up in shit just for my sake."

The young man looked him in the eyes unflinchingly. He wasn't stupid, these people will buy anyone off if it meant they can walk over Lawrence. He cares about everyone in his life. But after what happened to her. He's not leaving without answers and the officer will do whatever he has to to get it. Even he had to cheat an already shitty system. "Look, I appreciate the concern and sentiment, but kid, I have as many problems as you do."

"Don't fucking treat me like I'm just some kid, half the shit I've seen and killed you would just simply ended up like an eggroll."

"I'm not going to be some pencil pusher and let these guys walk over me. I've had it!"

"Well, I applaud that effort and enthusiasm. Just one problem and question." Donner got right up into his face. "How the fuck do you intend to do that!? Huh!? Answer me that!"

"My cousins have been doing a lot of shady jobs before I came in. What makes you think I haven't found some guys?" He answered calmly.

"Well, how'd that go?"

"I've got some things." Lawrence stated. "You getting attacked the same day after Lord Stolas is definitely not a coincidence for starters."

"What are you talking about?" Now this definitely got his attention.

"My cousin Ryan was at the Harvest Moon festival when he heard gun shots. A few of which came from a sniper. Gretchen heard rumors of a mech being ordered exactly on that day. Coincidence? If I didn't know any better, they knew exactly how to kill you both."

"It wouldn't surprise me if someone tried to kill Lord Stolas, but the fact that they're going as far to try and kill me, it doesn't add up."

"All the more reason to investigate. If someone wanted you both killed, they must've really hated you." Lawrence deduced.

"That's the problem, there's to many fucking demons who want us dead."

"But out of everyone, who would want to inflict that kind of harm? Especially amongst the palaces."

Donner shook his head. "Yeah, I already know exactly who you're talking about but there's not enough evidence to prove it. Not to mention every single point of evidence won't go that easily."

"True. But phone recordings have their benefits." The imp pulled out his phone, smirking at one idea. "If my hunch is right, she'll blab about it to someone sooner or later."

"One problem, you know who she's related to, right? In most cases when others go against noble demons in cases it's always one sided."

"And in those cases they underestimate people like me." Lawrence stated. "I never said it was going to be easy. But it's a step in the right direction."

"Well good fucking luck with that."

"Same to you." The cop told him honestly. "Because if you make it through this trial, I'd like to help in some capacity."

"I don't know what I can do, but I'd be down for that." Donner replied.

Right then someone entered the room. "Detective Nash, your time is up."

"Yes, sir."

"Well, whatever you have in mind. Good luck." Donner said to the imp as he left. "Also, courtesy of the last guy who was here, tell him to go fuck himself."

"I'll be sure to make a note of that, sir." He noted, doing ever he can to hide the smirk growing on his face.

Donner nodded as he left the room and outside, he saw the guy who tried to mess with him. The same one who's finger the teen avian bit off glaring at him. In response Donner flipped him off.

Back at the Goetia Palace we see Octavia sitting down with her father, Bruns, Merida, Stu, Loretta and Arnold. Stolas had just finished getting off the phone sighing in annoyance.

"Well? What'd they say?" Merida questioned the bat demon who shook his head giving their answer.

"Unfortunately, the situation right now is not in his favor." Bruns said, placing the device down. "We now have very limited options of who can be Donner's lawyer."

"Well, what the heck can we even do at this point then?" Arnold questioned. "If we don't it's gonna be like throwing him into a hornets nest."

Loretta frowned in thought before eventually speaking up. "Maybe not."

Stu looked over to his sister. "Huh?" He was confused by that.

"I might be able to defend him." She clarified.

Arnold joined in the confusion. "How exactly? Because I hate to break it to you, but you can't stab any of those guys."

"I used to work at a law firm a long time ago. I might be a little rusty, but I know a thing or two." The female imp explained to the group.

"Oh yeah..." Stu now remembered while Octavia was surprised by this.

"You were in a law firm? And went to law school?"

"I did. But like I said, it's been years since I've practiced it. Wasn't really interested in getting shot for locking some asshole away."

"Loretta, are you sure you can do it?" Stolas questioned. "Because this isn't some regular court hearing. Donner's life is on the line here."

"What dad said, this is serious." Octavia added.

"I know the risk, my lord." She looks up to the prince without hesitation. "But I'm not going to lose my friend to those bastards."

"As much as I feel uneasy about this, she is right." Bruns chimed in. "We need someone to defend him legally. But now we need testimonies. Octavia you'll be the front and center because you were with him that night. They'll also be asking questions from those who are close to him who know Donner."

"Pretty much everybody in this room." Stu stated the obvious.

"Ok, we at least finally have someone to help out. So, what next?" Arnold questioned.

"The court hearing will be in another two days. I say we must fully prepare." Stolas took the lead on this one. "Via, who else was there at the party? You and Donner went?"

"The closest two I can think of are just Miguel and Loona but that's about it." The owl girl replied.

"Alright." The owl prince nods in understanding.

"Loretta, it'd be best to study up and remove that rust you have as quickly as possible."

"Yes sir." The female imp nodded and left already getting started on it with Stu behind her.

"In the meantime, tomorrow, you and I, Via, should visit Donner. We are able to. That and we can also have more details on this hearing."

The day we see Octavia sitting on a chair outside of the box. Right now, her father was talking to Donner first, and when he was done, she'd be able to talk to him for the incoming hearing tomorrow. Since this morning everyone's been rustling about, the owl girl had contacted Miguel, and he was more than willing to back up testimony in his defense.

Currently she was on her phone glancing at the various news articles that popped up after Donner's arrest. Demons everywhere were talking, and most of them all agreed that he wasn't going to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And a very rare few ever questioned the reasoning behind it. Some of the crazier bastards started to spout out nonsense rumors. Like he was starting an uprising, killing off the higher class. Shit there were some stupid enough to think he was going after the throne of Ars Goetia itself.

The dumbest of all was because he did it just for shits and giggles.

The door opened, Octavia turned around and saw Stolas emerge. She stood up and walked over to him. "You may go see him but make it quick. There is a time limit. I'll be doing what else needs to be done." With those words said he walked off and she entered the room.

Dead silence hit instantly. As if his previous injuries weren't already bad enough. The thunderbird looks to have been beaten to a pulp. Who in the hell is running this precinct? "Oh no..." She rushed up and sat across from him. "What did they do to you?"

Donner snorted in amusement. "Showing me their hospitality."

"Those bastards..."

"Eh, one guy got payback for me biting off his fingers."

"What did you do that for?"

"He tried to nuter me. Saying and I quote, 'I'll make sure you won't be able to spawn any more little bastards.' Or some other shit, I don't care. He didn't get that satisfaction."

"I'm so sorry Donner." The owl princess frowned.

"Don't be. Most of these idiots didn't even know what they were talking about anyway." The thunderbird changes the subject. "But how is everyone else?"

"They're all worried about you. So am I..." She leaned forward looking him directly in the eye. "I know you didn't do that, but I need to hear it from you. Did you or did you not kill Zane and his whole family?"

"No, of course not. What happened back then was all there is to it. I did my job, and we didn't see him again nor have any other interactions since that incident. The only time I would've intervened is unless he was threatening both you and your father's safety. But not to the major degree that I'd kill off the whole entire family, babies included."

Octavia sighed. "T-Then why is this happening?"

"I don't know. As far as I can tell, this is a frame job, and I am the perfect skape goat. But, believe me Octavia, I would never do anything like this. To put you through all this turmoil. If I was, I'd let you know ahead of time. I'd never go this far to cause any trouble for your father."

"I know...I know..." This was really hard for her. "But, y-you may have a chance. We got you a lawyer that can at least help."

This seems to have gotten the servants attention. "Really? Who?"

"Loretta."

"Wait, Loretta?" Donner sounded a bit not so convinced. "Loretta? Her?"

"Yeah, she used to be in a law firm, law school, everything."

"Well shit, never a dull moment even in times like these you learn something new." Donner chuckled before he lowered down his head his tone changing. "But...Octavia...I don't think I'm gonna make it through this..."

"Don't you say that!" She frowned at this. "You've been in tougher spots than this. I know you'll get out of this!"

"But this is different!" Donner replied back. "It's not just something I can kill and be done with it. I have the entire noble region of hell wanting my corpse, my blood and everything! They're not going to let this pass so easily."

"Well, it's going to be if you keep thinking like that!"

"What do you want me to do? Break out and fly away? If I do that, then automatically I'm marked guilty. They'll kill me without a second thought."

"So that's it? You're throwing in the towel? Is that it?"

"What do you want me to do Octavia? What do you want me to do? Tell me."

The owl girl wanted to say something, but what could she possibly say? Everything Donner spoke of is true. "...I don't know...I just don't want you to die Donner..."

Donner was very much touched by what she said. Now he was really feeling bad inside for putting her through this.

He knew that if was going to die he'd only have a few, among them being his friends, those he's come to know real well, Merida especially. But the biggest regret would be not telling the very girl in front of him how he felt. However, Donner knew that if he did, it'd only leave a bigger hole in her heart. Even at his own expense he would not and will not do that to her. "I know...But I just don't see any alternative...Not out of this...I'm not sure what to do right now..."

"Donner...we can't give up...You can't just give up..."

"And I don't want to..."

"I know."

A knock was heard from behind the door. "Times up princess." The guard on the other side said.

"I'll see you soon, milady." Donner nodded as she stood up and made her way out. While doing so, he called out to her. "Wait..." The owl girl turned around. "I just want you to know that no matter what happens, I'm glad to have been of service, and to be your friend and have you around in my life. I just wanted to let you know that. Also, can you tell Merida that I love her?"

Octavia nods reluctantly, tears welling out of her eyes as she leaves the room.

When she did Stolas was out there waiting for her and not caring she rushed up to him and he wrapped his arms around her. He knew that she was having a hard time with this just as he was.

That same following night we see Stolas out at the balcony of his home; his face was stained with dried tears. The male owl demon was just looking absolutely miserable.

"This is hard on all of us Stolas..." He turned over to see Bruns was hanging upside down like a bat on the side. "I know how you feel..."

"We failed her, didn't we?" Stolas solemnly asked his old friend.

"No, no we did not." Bruns answered. "You did not fail her."

"We promised her, Bruns."

"And we still are..." Bruns left his perched stop and flew up in front of him. The bat was using his wings to keep himself in the air.

"Then why do I feel like I'm punished for allowing him here?" He looked to the bat demon in frustration. "I wanted to give him as much as I would my daughter, but no matter how hard I try, something throws a fucking wrench every time I try!"

"Trying is better than doing absolutely nothing. In spite of what happens." That bat said as he flew up onto the balcony now standing beside him. "You know that."

"Bruns, do you not understand what's going on? Not only am I failing to uphold a promise that we made, but now my daughter is losing more than just a protector, she's also losing her only friend..." Stolas paused for a moment.

The sharply dressed bat frowned in understanding, knowing full well what was wrong. But between them, he held the strongest front. Donner was just as much as a son to him as he was to Stolas. And he'll be damned before losing him to those animals. Taking a deep inhale before exhaling the Bruns spoke up. "Stolas...I think there might be something that can help."

"What?" The owl turned to his friend. "What can possibly help him?"

"Well..." Bruns was now starting to be careful on the words he used. "I wouldn't necessarily say help. But rather, something that can at least giving him a fighting chance."

"And what, pray tell, are you suggesting?" The prince asked.

"It's only there as a last resort if needed... But you're not going to like it." Bruns grimaced.

"Well out with it, Bruns! What is it?" Stolas demanded to know the answer.

The two of them began to talk on this last resort. Even if Stolas wasn't going to like it, this very well could be Donner's last and only chance to make it through this.

The big day had now arrived. Demons were outside the courthouse, and naturally there were many reporters broadcasting what was going on. Most notably noble demons were attending, many wanted to see this little bird drop dead.

In a bathroom we see Loretta brushing some water up her face now wearing a uniform to say she was highly nervous was an understatement. But she kept reminding herself of the reason she was doing this. To help her friend, because no one else was going to. From the side Stu watched this go on passing her a small towel. "You, ok?"

"Not really." The older twin admitted, rubbing the rag across her face. "I never thought I'd be doing this again."

"But yet you are sis."

"I know, and I hate it."

"Well, your here so let's go try and get our buddy out of this." He said putting both hands on her shoulders getting a smile. "Also, you might want to get that crap out of yours."

"Shut up..." Loretta chuckled and right then Arnold peaked through the door.

"Come on, you're on. The judge is coming."

"Alright, I'm coming...I'm coming."

"Let's go kick some ass!" Stu yelled.

Inside of the courtroom everyone was taking their seats among were many members of the Ars Goeita family, and surprisingly among them was Paimon himself who walked over to Stolas each one giving each other a frown.

"Hello father..."

"I'm sorry, who are you?" The royal demon questioned.

"It's me Stolas, you stupid elephant." Stolas groaned in annoyance; he really wished all that knowledge of magic would've helped his terrible, terrible memory.

"Oh yes, the gay one." Of all the things he could recall, it's that stupid incident.

"Hello Lord Paimon, nice to see you again. Despite the circumstances." Stella greeted her father-in-law.

"Ah Stella, long time no see."

"Oh, that you remember?" Stolas huffed.

"Evidently..." Octavia commented, she knew her grandfather was always like this. Why she wagered even if he wouldn't even remember him. She nodded over to him. "Grandfather..."

"Olivia?" The Lord looked down at the heir, much to her annoyance.

"It's Octavia."

"Oh yes, Octavia! Ohoho! It's so nice to see one of my many grandchildren. How big you've grown. Aren't you sixteen now?"

"No, I'm seventeen..." The owl girl said in annoyance.

"Oh, it doesn't matter, it's been so long! How are you my dear?" He asked her rather insensitively.

"I'd rather be anywhere else than here right now." She replied with a stern voice and a glare. "Not to mention on the bullshit charges you and everyone is placing on my friend."

"Now, now, Olive, you must understand that this thunderbird threatens the very foundation of Hell for his murders. This must be done for the good of all."

"The foundations? Or the big ego's we seem to have?" She was starting to remember why she barely spoke to her good ol' grandpa.

"My, someone has forgotten to teach someone manners." Paimon glanced over to his scowling son. "Haven't you, Stolas?"

"No, my daughter has every right to voice her opinion." Stolas backed her up. "And besides, you wouldn't want a weak timed and weak-minded heir to take over the affairs of the Ars Goetia do you not?"

"Yes, but I would also like one to remember where she came from. This family has enough bad apples as it is." Paimon stated.

"And you're not one of them?" Octavia retorted back and before it could escalate any further, Merida intervened bringing the girl to her seat.

"Well, aside from that, I do hope you're happy for causing quite a scandal Stolas." Paimon returned his attention to his boy. "This very much brings a lot of trouble to our family. You do realize that, correct?"

"I know well enough about your warning, father. What I lack is patience."

"Indeed."

"That he does." Stella agreed. "Now let's hope that this finishes up quickly." She said before taking her seat.

Both demons didn't say another word and proceeded to do just that. When they did, everyone was now in place, Loretta had now just finished setting up, with Bruns nearby for support.

Right then up front you see a very large bulky looking demon entering and taking the seat. "His honor, Judge Hardhorn, all rises." They did just that. "Please be seated."

"Now, may the accused demon Donner now be brought out?" The teen avian makes way inside with cuffs all attached to his limbs and thumbs, armed guards following him inside with Detective Nash behind them all.

Right when that happened the courtroom went into an uproar and all noble demons were cursing out at the teen. The trial hasn't already started yet, and people were ready to tear him piece by piece. In annoyance Judge Hardhorn slammed down his govel multiple times. "Order! Order!"

Everyone silenced as the judge spoke up. "Alright, enough. I am aware of the circumstances of this case. But neither one of you made it easy by bribing the many lawyers not to defend the accused. And I'm fucking glad at least there was someone with balls to take up the mantle."

"Thanks, your honor." Loretta nodded, seeing the guards standing behind her as the chained thunderbird sat next to her.

The detective stood by one of the doors on guard. Waiting for what may happen.

The judge snapped his fingers and we see multiple demons emerge all of them were black wearing white skeletal masks. "Now, the jury you see here are souls bounded to the court. So that means neither of them can be bought, nor assassinated. You all may have control, but in my court, I'm the one who has control here."

"Aww!" A bunch of noble demons groaned in annoyance. "Boooo!"

"I don't care, shut the fuck up already..." The big demon said in annoyance, he knew how a bunch of them were. Reluctantly the majority audience concedes to his word. "Yeah, yeah, I don't give a shit." The judge rolled his eyes in annoyance.

From behind Loretta Stu noticed there was a tall Imp with a very unusual, shaped head wearing a set of glasses and a very expensive suit. "Hey Loretta, who's that guy?"

"Ricky Macky, that is like the biggest known lawyer in hell! He's never lost a case before!"

"Are you kidding? That guy is like skinny as a pencil!"

"Needle dick or no, if he's being paid to be the attorney. Then we're fighting a losing battle!"

"Loretta, please we will need every asset we can." Stolas said in a desperate tone.

"I know, I know! But you're not helping me calm my nerves down sir!" Loretta whispered back.

"Now let's begin this trial." Judge Hardhorn said. "Mr. Macky. Your opening statement if you'd please."

"Mmmkay, thank you, your honor." The tall imp said getting up from his seat and walked up to the jury. "I'd first like to thank the jury, who is here at the moment. The case we'll be examining today is quite simple, mmmkay. Did this bird boy kill the entire Obscures Family bloodline? Wiping them off from the face of hell itself?" He paused for a moment letting it sink in. "Not to mention, are the rest of the many noble blood lines at possible risk? Mmmkay, many of these families have been here since the beginning helping our society flourish into what it is today, contributing in which where we are today."

He turns around to point at Donner. "And if he did do it, then that means future generations are at risk. Everything many of you have invested in, starting from the lower bottom and reaching to success and ensuring your legacy lives on. Mmmkay." The imp turned back over to the jury. "I am confident you'll make the right decision, because even though this is hell, there are things that still need to be upheld. Those deaths have to be answered, the one who did has to face punishment. Mmmkay." Ricky made his way over to his side.

"Thank you, Mr. Macky, for your opening statement." Judge Bighorn looked over to Loretta. "Mrs. Estacado? Your opening statement?"

Arnold leaned over to Stu whispering in his ear. "That's your last name?"

"Well, you never asked now, have you? The fuck is your last name then?"

"It's Barone."

"No kidding? You got some Italian in you two?"

"Shut up both of you." Merida said making them do so as they watched Loretta get up from her seat getting ready for her opening statement.

"Well, first off it's nice to meet you all. I do have to be honest with you, I'm rather nervous. Not because I haven't been in this line of work for a number of years. And it just so happens that I step right up to the mantle of something serious as this." She motioned over to Donner. "No, I'm not nervous about that..."

She paused for a moment. "I'm nervous that very much that there's a possibility that there is something else at work here. And as Mr Macky said. Something that can threaten the whole noble region of hell itself. And that this kid is getting thrown under the bus, for something he had no part of. I'm not saying that he didn't do it, but lets just think for a moment that there is someone else pulling the strings behind all of this."

"While I believe that everyone in the court may be in danger. My client may not be among the guilty parties." She turns to the many demons present. "I'm sure many of you here that are present, listening and watching from elsewhere are concerned for your safety. But let's remind ourselves that when major events like these happen there's always more to it. It's important to look over key events, information and history to ensure no stone is left unturned. For if we don't, we are bound to repeat the same mistakes, executing those who were innocent and letting the true monster escape. There have been many other instances of where this has happened. I ask the jury, and I send my sympathy to those that knew the Obscures family to let emotion ruin your line of thinking. Because whatever the cause of their deaths were, whoever's behind the murder, could very well strike at any given moment. It could tomorrow, next week, next month and even next year. We do not know, which is why this must be done carefully with consideration and open minds so that we bring those who've done this and face judgment." She nods over to the jury. "That'll be all, thank you." She walks back to her seat.

"Now with the opening statements said, the trial may start. Mr. Macky may now call up someone associated with the bird to the stand and question."

"Mmmkay, thank your honor." The tall imp got up from his seat. "I'd first like to call up to the stand, the head housekeeper of the Ars Goeita mansion, and ex Overlord, Merida 'The Bone Witch'."

The sinner stood up and other demons were gossiping with one another at what was said especially hearing her ex-overlord status. Even some of the workers including Octavia were surprised to hear about this. But right now, she didn't care, and as she was making her way over to the stand, she exchanged a brief glance with Donner.

"You already know the vow, to speak the truth and only the truth." Judge Bighorn said. "Now, Mack, begin your questioning."

"Mmmkay, now Mrs. Merida, what is your association with the accused?"

"He is my foster child." Merida answered. "He works among the palace, whenever he is required to."

"And how long has he been at the palace for?"

"Since he was a hatchling..."

"Mmmkay, and what were the circumstances that he came under your care?"

"It was Prince Stolas who allowed him to be under my care."

"And why was he brought there in the first place?"

"I'm afraid I'm not allowed to answer that."

"Not allowed or you cannot say it?"

"Both, if you wish for that answer you'd have to ask my master. It's been that way ever since I've taken care of him." The sinner answered.

"You do realize that you're supposed to tell the truth."

"Objection!" Loretta called out. "A master and servant oath not to speak is quite normal in a household such as that."

"Sustained." Bighorn accepted it.

"Mmmkay, no further questions your honor." Macky frowned.

"I hate that stupid fucking voice." Lawrence mouthed silently.

"Feelings mutual..." Donner agreed, overhearing what he said.

"Next, I'd like to call up to the stand, Mrs. Stella?"

"Oh shit..." Both Stu and Arnold whispered as the same time watching as the older woman stood up from her seat. A pleased look plastered on her face.

"This'll be something." The detective crossed his arms silently. Given her reputation, she's going for the throat.

Taking the stand the imp began to question the snobbish female royal. "Your highness, what is your association with the accused? And where do you stand on this whole matter?"

"He is my husband's servant." The shrew starts off. "That's it. As for where I stand, I'd say there's a good possibility that he did do it."

"And what makes you so certain?" The attorney questioned.

"Where to begin, since he's arrived my so-called 'husband' has paid more attention to him than our daughter as she was growing up. Giving special treatment, favoritism, not to mention having the gall to go behind my back and place the little bastard as her bodyguard."

"That maybe so, mmmkay, but clearly he is capable of doing his duty. Why so against on the choice your husband made?"

"Cause she's a sleazy tramp." Stu whispered in Arnold's ear. The hornless imp snickered underneath his breath.

"Because there are others more capable of doing the job."

"Example?"

"Fuck, where to begin." Stella rolled her eyes. "All I know is since he's been here and the choices Stolas has made are causing nothing but trouble. If he was not in the position he was in, I would've thrown him out a long time ago."

"And why do you detest the accused so much? Mmmkay." Ricky questioned. "If you don't mind me inquiring."

"Because he was never supposed to be there...He has been nothing but a burden on the household. Yet my 'husband' insists on keeping him around. And for what? Our family name has already been tarnished enough because of his actions and now this is happening? What else needs to transpire to say enough is enough?"

"Anything else?"

"No, but the only thing I would want if possible to get this nuisance out of our feathers." Stella said glancing over to Donner. "If also maybe, make it quick."

"No further questions for Mrs. Stella, your honor." Ricky said to Judge Bighorn as the owl left. "Mmmkay, now the next I'd like to question would be Miss Stella and Sir Stolas's daughter, Octavia Goeita."

The owl princess doesn't waste anytime walking past her mother bumping her shoulder against her mother before taking the seat at the stand. "Mmmkay, now Octavia, now, I am aware that you and the Obscures heir did have a prior relationship at one point, is that true?"

"We did." The girl answered, the phrasing alone made her wanna puke. "And what was the reason your relationship ended?"

"You're honor, is it alright to swear in this room?" She looked up to the judge, hoping to hear a yes.

"I don't see why not. Go ahead." The judge shrugged his shoulders in response while she ignored a look Stella was giving her. The owl princess turned back to the attorney, unafraid to speak up now.

"He was a conceited rapacious douchebag, a vain and disgusting pervert and a hot steaming pile of horse shite. Figuratively speaking."

"Haha!" Stu laughed in the background. Some of the demons broke down in laughter while others weren't so amused. "Alright, alright, order!" The judge slammed the gavel calmly. "Worth it..." Stu muttered under his breath.

"Shut the fuck up already!" Loretta whispered to her brother. Lawrence himself bit his lip trying not to laugh.

"Mmmkay, now aside from all of that, what do you consider the accused?" "Donner has been at my side by my dad's orders. He respects my boundaries and knows when I want to be alone. He can be annoying, but he cares about the household. More than what mum is willing to give him credit for." Octavia confessed. Stella rolled her eyes at this while Ricky continued on. "Mmmkay now you were with him on the same night the murder happened, correct?"

"I was with him at a friend's party, yes."

"And where did this party take place? I've read the reports, but I want to hear it from you."

"Objection!" Loretta called out.

"Overruled." The judge replied. "The question can push through."

Octavia sighs at the brown nose questioning her, before answering. "Howling Moon Records."

"And he was there with you the entire night?"

"Yes." She brings out her phone. "I even have a video of the party." Pink eyed owl scrolled through her mobile device before presenting him the video in question.

Judgebighorn made a whistle. "Somebody play the video up on the big screen please. We hardly ever use the damn thing. So just do it." Octavia groaned as she passed the demon the phone who hooked it up and instantly we see the video recording from Octavia's phone.

There was loud music being played, demons, many of them being hellhounds were all partying and having a good time. The owl girl herself was enjoying the atmosphere. The audience were shocked by the atmosphere and sudden noise. At least with those in high society. In Fact there also many were dancing and in the middle you could see Miguel busting a few moves with Rocky.

Both of them were spinning on the ground with their legs up in the air, in complete unison. Neither one was making a mistake and the crowd of party goers were loving in cheering them on including Octavia herself. Right then during the mixt of things Loona joined in and she was busting some moves of her own using her hands to keep herself from falling spinning her legs and tail around in the air.

"Damn, things are heating up in here literally!" One demon called out before the three stopped with Loona wrapping her arms around Miguel and Rocky's shoulders. "Alright, now who's up next!?"

"Octavia, c'mon you should go next." The camera turned over Donner. "You kept telling me you know some moves."

"What? No, I'm good."

"Oh, come on, you wanted to, so lets see what you got." "Donner come on really-"

"Hey everybody! She's going up next!" Donner cried out, putting her in the spotlight. Octavia groaned as she was pushed into the center. Might as well give them something. She takes off her beanie and twirls her body around and not her head. Stooping low to her knees briefly before standing back up, casually moving about with her talons in bizarre angles.

Stopping very briefly as Octavia's head twirls around at rapid speed. Finished with that she continued to dance for a short moment before bowing down, putting her beanie back on. "Whoo! Fuck me! I didn't think the royal girl would have some moves!" One demon spoke off the camera. "Hey, think I got a shot at her?"

"You wouldn't, if you try I'll kill you." Donner said continuing to film showing Octavia getting compliments on her dancing. The two other demons laughed at what he said thinking he was joking. "I'm nothing kidding by the way." They both shut up and the video ended.

"Does that answer your question, Mr. Mkay?" Octavia questioned the man. This got a laugh from everyone, Donner included, as well as her father.

"That it does, but I also have to ask, throughout the whole night did he not show any signs of suspicion?" "No, the only thing that went wrong was him eating a bit too much and making a break for a trash can outside the store."

"You saw him do that?" The attorney questioned. "Yeah, I was right there with him as he was emptying out his stomach." The owl girl cringed. "Yep, that was not very pleasant..."

"And I kept saying I was sorry..." Donner muttered. "Mmmkay, and what happened later on that night?" "We just went back home. Nothing else, end of story." Octavia replied back now, starting to get fed up.

"And are you certain about that?"

"I am. What about you?" She groaned in annoyance pressing her head against the stand of where she was. "Are you fucking kidding me? You believe in that stupid rumor too? Is that it?"

"Just answer the question, mmmkay."

"Ok, sure I'll answer the question." She looks over to the mic on Judge Bighorn's desk. "Can I borrow this please?" "By my guest." Now standing up she took the mic, tapped onto it to be sure it was on before clearing her throat. "Donner and I are not in a relationship and there's nothing else going on. So fuck all of you, and those who started those rumors. Thank you." She passed the mic back.

"No further questions." Octavia got off the stand as she was doing and she said these 'parting words'. "Also, two words. Breath, mint." The teen owl demon said much to Ricky's chagrin.

Many demons of course laughed at what was said, and it was true even the judge was laughing at his dismay. Lawrence really started to lose it himself. Holding back his snickering behind his palm. "Geez, that girl you protect sure is something..."

"I know that..." Donner said with a smirk, fuck he loved that girl. Ricky took a deep breath calming himself down. "Now, I call Prince Stolas to the stand." Of course the audience had a few choice words about him as he made his way to the seating. But he didn't give it any thought.

As he was going Stella frowned at Octavia as she sat down. "I hope you're happy."

"You know what I don't care right now mum...I do not care...I was already fed up with that bullshit." The owl girl said, crossing out her arms. The white bird huffed at her attitude, directing her attention back to her useless whore of a husband as he went to give his side of the story. Stolas took the stand and Ricky started the questioning.

"Mmmkay, now how long would you say you've known the defendant for?"

"Since the day he was born, sir." He answered truthfully.

"And why did you take him in?" Stolas grew hesitant to answer that. "Well, the circumstances weren't...very clear...It's complicated..." "Mmmkay, and does the defendant have any other relatives?"

"No."

"Do you know about the current whereabouts of his biological parents?"

"There wasn't a father."

"And the mother?" Everyone grew curious at what the Goetia Prince's answer was going to be. Among them naturally being Donner, he never did bother to question anything about his past. So, this was sort of like an opportunity to know.

Stolas eventually gave his answer. "She's dead." Naturally from the side Octavia was shocked to hear this looking over to Merida who shared a sad expression with the princess while Donner on the other hand didn't even flinch. Maybe he didn't know how to react, or he didn't wish to show any weakness. It wasn't very clear.

"Alright, so if I'm hearing this correctly, you took in some random demon who clearly has no affiliation with any royal blood lines. Mmmkay is that correct sir?" "I did."

"Why did you?"

"I made a promise, and that's all." Stolas answered. "Please do elaborate on this promise." "No, I will not." Stolas denied. "And why is that, your highness?" Macky pressed. "It's personal and that is that. I do not wish to share it."

"Not to defend your servant?"

"Objection!" Loretta called out. "Even though it's mandatory for answers, the questionnaires still have a right not to answer certain questions." "Eh, Sustained." Bighorn allowed it, giving off a shrug. "Mmmkay what!?"

"Sustained." The judge made himself clear.

"Haha!" Stu laughed out again before getting punched in the face by Arnold knocking his ass out. Loretta stood up from her spot. "Your honor, may I be able to question Lord Stolas?"

"You may proceed." Ricky makes his way back over to his seat while Loretta walks up to her master. Both knew they had to drop the formalities and treat this seriously. "Now, Lord Stolas let's drop the theatrics, what's the main reason you choose to place Donner as the bodyguard for your daughter in the first place?"

"To ensure she wasn't alone." He admitted. "And because of the way Hell is, I merely thought that it was important that she'd be able to remain safe. Donner has proven that time and time again he does just that. Even before protecting my daughter, he made sure that I and of course 'my wife' were safe as well."

"And how long has he performed these duties?"

"Roughly around the age of twelve." The owl demon answered. "Five years to be exact."

"And his track record before meeting the princess?"

"Approximately 250 jobs in that time span. Many of which was to deal with any possible threat to the Ars Goeita family itself. He succeeded on every single one without fail."

"And no incident was caused during his stay?"

"None."

"But wouldn't you say that the incident with Zane Obscures prior count? As well as the fight with the robot he had in Pentagram city days ago? Do those not count?"

"No." Stolas denied. "On both occasions he was provoked, he defended himself and his colleagues, as well as my daughter."

"Fair enough, now even though one elephant in the room was addressed. How do you respond to the rumors of him and daughter seeing one another? I respect her choice of words but figured, you'd have some words as well."

"As far as I'm aware, those rumors are false proclamations. Word of mouth by a bunch of nosey demons who cannot mind their own business." The regal prince frowned at the implication. "Ok." Loretta nodded, taking the answer. "And now to the responses of the other branches of the Ars Goetia. Many of them standing by and believing that my client, and your servant did in fact kill the Obscures family. Some even say that you're the perpetrator."

"And what would you propose I would gain in doing so?" The red eyed demon retorts. "I would never sully my reputation over petty affairs. Least of all for my daughter's sake."

"But with all due respect sir, your reputation already is sullied." Loretta pointed out. "They won't believe you as easily as in the past."

"What I have done is irrelevant to what's happening currently." He stated. "That's not what they're thinking. Some of them probably assume that you're starting to try and silence those that are giving you trouble."

"That is a lie. I may have done things that went against what the Goetia Family stands for, I would never compromise the livelihood of any of my servants or my family. I wasn't even aware of the murder until much recently."

Loretta turned over the jury walking over to them. "Well, what do you all think? In spite of what his servant is being accused for he's very much adamant that my client is innocent. Not to mention that despite what he has done, Lord Stolas does indeed care for his family even though they think less of him..." This got a few of them to glance over to one another, some members of the Ars Goetia were talking many weren't buying it, however only a small few believed in Stolas's words.

"No further questions for Lord Stolas your honor." Loretta glanced over to her client. "Now, I ask permission for Donner himself to come to the stand for questioning." Judge Bighorn glanced over to the guards nodding in approval, seeing that they let the chains go allowing the young avian demon to make his way to stand rattling the chains that were cuffed onto him exchanging a look with Stolas at the same time as they passed by one another. Once Donner got to the stand he sat down giving off a sigh before boldly speaking out.

"Well, let's get this over with..." He figured that if he was going to die, he might as well make use of whatever time he had left to live. Many of which demons of course were appalled by his actions, Paimon on the other hand was intrigued. In spite of his position, he was calm like the clouds up in the sky. He was acting in a way Stolas never had when he was his age. Had he seen it sooner, the Lord wouldn't have called him a bitch after all this time. Clearing her throat, Loretta began her questioning.

"Now Donner, would you mind giving us a bit more information on your background with the court?"

"I am Prince Stolas's servant. Whatever task he asks of me, I'll take care of it without question. And I am the royal protector of Princess Octavia, guarding her from those choose to threaten her life." The thunderbird stated to the court.

"And how do you describe yourself? Not to mention how do you feel about some of the tasks that you were given in the past?"

"Just only doing what I need to do. As for what you ask, I carry them out without delay. But only when my master gives the order."

"So like a faithful lapdog then..."

"Perhaps I am, but in the end I'm just carrying out my duty. Nothing more nothing less."

"Now, who is the one who trained you? Because, for an impressive amount of kills you've achieved at a young age is no easy feat. Not to mention, the latest tussle you had in the city the other day is an example showing a demon with a lot of potential."

"Lord Bruns Penumbra." Donner answered. "I've known him since I was just a child, he brought me out to the infernal wilds of hell. At first I was confused, but eventually dropped the questions and did as I was told. Following his exact instructions however odd or extreme they may have been. In the end, I just assumed that since my master trusted him, I felt obligated to doing the same." "Do you ever feel sympathy for those that you kill?"

"No."

"Does the same feeling ever go to the possibility when children are involved?"

"Now that is a question indeed..."

"And how do you respond to that?"

"I'd prefer not to." Donner shrugged in response. "It's as simple as that."

"Fair enough. So, you are saying that despite what you do, you have some little amount of morales?"

"Yes."

"And if you were to say it again, did you or did you not kill the Obscures Family wiping them off from the map of Hell itself?"

"No. Despite my grievances with their son, I had no intentions of killing him. Nor going against my master's will." Donner stated calmly. Loretta walked over to her seat. "No further questions, your honor."

When she sat down she frowned and saw that Ricky stood up and this meant one thing. "Permission to question the accused before me?"

"Granted." Bighorn replied. "Now, even though these do sound like sound and solid answers. There are some questions that have yet to receive one." Ricky addressed the court before turning around to Donner. "Well by all means, ask away." Donner dared the attorney. "Do you not hate many of those that are in this courtroom? Yes or no? Simple question, mmmkay."

"No." "Are you sure about that?" "Yes, I am." "Would you say the same thing if your prince ordered you to?"

"Depending on what specifically he wants me to do. Many of the assignments in the past were not so easy." The teen avian replied. "So of course caution was needed."

"Including specific favors?"

"Do I look like that kind of servant to you?" Donner questioned the suit. "No, but then again, you sort of look like the kind of guy who sucks dick and kisses ass."

"Excuse me?" The brown nose imp looked to the green bird unamused.

"Tell me, who's cheek was more tastier to lick?" Many demons in the courtroom broke down into laughter among them being Octavia, and Merida. Even Paimon was amused with this. "I believe I'm the one asking the questions, mmmkay." Ricky glared at the thunderbird and his shit eating grin.

"Doesn't sound like it to me." The detective smiled, silently. "Mmmmkay." Donner replied imitating the way he sounded. For quite possibly the first time in this proceeding, Detective Lawrence Nash started to openly laugh at the imp up ahead.

Bighorn himself laughed before slamming down his govel a couple of times. "Order! Order! Ok! Ok! Order!"

"Are you done yet?" Ricky questioned, glaring at him.

Donner nodded and motioned for him to continue. "By all means."

"Now, that very same night, you were with Princess Octavia, what did you do next that day?" "I just did my duties as usual at the mansion."

"Knife sharpening?"

"No, cleaning. I'm not really allowed to be in the kitchen."

"Poisoning food? No, just being a kid and not knowing the difference between pepper and sugar. Which is one such reason, it's preferred I don't cook."

"And what's the other?" Ricky questioned. "The other reason is because the entree was for Lady Stella and I almost incinerated her taste buds." Donner then shrugged. "Again, I was just a little kid at the time and that happened. I didn't know the difference, they both looked alike." From her spot Merida held back herself from laughing while Stella wasn't so amused. "Oh and also the bad case of diarrhea I accidentally got the entire house under." Donner recalled a bit too chuckling nervously at that memory.

"What?!" Stella exclaimed from the crowd. Now realizing that he was the one who sabotaged the family dinner years ago.

Donner held up both hands in defense. "I know-I know. Again, that was an accident, totally my fault for that. I accept that one. Again, I was just a little kid. At least everyone gets treated. Except for Octavia of course." Stella fumed in anger listening to every single word he was saying and seeing this Octavia scooted closer over to where her dad was sitting one chair over feeling the heat from her mother's building up rage.

"Mmmkay, any other things that you'd like to bring up?" "You'd have to be more specific." "Any flub ups you'd like to share? Anything tantalizing perhaps?" The spectacle wearing imp specified, hoping to find a way to shut the bird down. "I once lost my clothes? Other than that, no, that's about it."

"Mmmkay, and what about one incident I heard about when you and another staff member unintentionally swapped one another's medication? You sure you don't have another problem that needs to be aware of?"

"I don't think that's something I'm comfortable with bringing up." Donner frowned, something that the attorney finally got out of him.

"And why is that?"

"Because I was sick and I had no idea what I took. Quite frankly, I don't even wanna go into any more details on what happened." Donner said bitterly recalling that dream. "Not to mention my coworker is a sick bastard for having those pills and there's something wrong with him in the head almost all the time."

"I said I was sorry!" Stu apologized. 'Still doesn't excuse the fact my first kiss was stolen by the woman who'd abused me for years...' Donner grumbled in his mind. 'Technically it was just a dream, but it still counts, doesn't it?'

"Mmmkay now onto more serious matters." Ricky adjusted his posture. "Like this one for instance, did you or did you not threaten to take the life of Lord Andrealphus and any other of the Ars Goetia during the Hellsmas Party last year?" This of course got many of the demons in the room talking now. "I seem to recall that I was warning him to never harm anyone in this family." "But you also made it clear that you'd do away with even members of the family itself." Ricky said.

"Only if they were to threaten Milady's life." Donner answered. "Am I just to sit idly by and let them do what they please to possibly harm her and not do a thing about it? It is my sworn duty to protect the heir to the Goetia Family from any threat."

"And would that also possibly include taking the life of your own master to do so?" The imp questioned. "If he were to try and take the life of his own daughter? She is the heir after all." The entire courtroom was dead silent upon this question. Waiting for the thunderbird's answer. Donner took a deep inhale before exhaling. "If need be, and only if need be. Yes, only because I have to put her safety above all else. He's made that perfectly clear himself. He values her life more than he does his own."

Many were shocked to hear this including Octavia herself only gave his daughter a loving smile. This showed that Donner was telling the truth, and Paimon was generally a bit taken back by this. Not only is he straight forward with his answers, but not a single one as of yet shows any deceit. Is he really and willingly mentally capable of carrying out such a task? Ricky himself didn't expect this to be like that either.

Donner's very words showed that he was serious, and he wasn't joking around, that alone sent a few chills up his spine. Even after seeing what the thunderbird was capable of, Nash felt unnerved by the idea. Never once did he think of possibility like that. Ricky cleared his throat. "Mmmkay, you've made it pretty clear that you'll show no remorse to even the family you serve if they are going to harm Princess Octavia? Is that what I'm hearing correctly?"

"You hear right." Donner said once again without hesitation. "Nothing will stop me from protecting this girl from any who'd dare to harm her." From her seat Octavia lowered down her gaze trying her best to hide a blush that crept up to her cheeks. Ricky turned over to the jury. "He's willing to kill, even those who raised him to fulfill his duty. Now what's to say he did the same with the Obscures Family? He openly admits it, he can do it without hesitation."

"And you seem to forget that I was never given the order." "But, even though never given the order, is it still possible that he acted on his own accord? And for his own agenda?" "An agenda as farcical as your brown nose."

"You see? He's close to snapping, I say that's exactly what happened. He snapped, because even though he's extremely loyal there's a moment where we all lose ourselves in a fit of rage that we forget even what transpired, Mmmkay." Donner honestly couldn't resist laughing at this man, preaching to the quire and doing exactly as described. Going down on him and kissing some derriere. Figuratively speaking of course. "Something amusing to you?" Ricky questioned. "Something you wish to possibly share?"

"Yeah, who died and made you a good judge of character?" Donner grinned. "I mean really, do I look like the type to snap and throw a fit out in the open? I already know someone else who does." Stu actually laughed at that comment. Stella is none too pleased at the implication. "I may not be a good judge of character. But, oh my God, I can see someone doing that in the middle of this courtroom if I told her she's been seeing her brother behind her husband's back." A majority of the crowd went

"Ooooo." Knowing things just got tense. "Just fucking die already you piece of shit!" Stella finally snapped having enough, she'd be damned if she were to be accused of fucking her own brother!

"See?" Donner pointed at her, proving his point. "I'm not the one that snaps under pressure."

"Mmmkay, now before I ask any further questions, I'd like for you all to think very carefully. Do we want this kid, this very violent and disrespectful, little murderous bird to continue running amuck, possibly threatening the lives and the lineages made by those who helped build hell itself?"

"That's a little harsh." The green bird commented. The jury was silent and Ricky went back to his seat.

"No further questions, your honor." "Well with that being said, we'll now have the jury deliberate on the bird's verdict and go over the evidence that'll be provided before making a decision." Judge Bighorn said and immediately they vanished.

"In the meantime we'll wait for their decision."

"Groovy." The servant sighs.

Hours passed and everyone was anxiously waiting for the results. While waiting everyone was doing something to keep themselves occupied. Many of them were talking, gossiping, making bets, anything to at least give them a little bit of excitement. Detective Nash sat down, fiddling with something in pocket. Over to the side Stella was speaking with her friends venting out her frustrations and anger towards Donner.

Putting a stop to the supposed nonsense of her sleeping with her own brother. Paimon on the other hand was bored and fast asleep wearing an eye cover as he slept snoring and drooling away waiting for the time to pass. Stu was passing around arguing with his sister about this nonsense, even going as far as to call Ricky an ass muncher. As for Octavia she was speaking with Stolas and Merida.

They too were feeling the pressure of the trial. Arnold himself was just talking to somebody on the phone. Honestly just wishing to have some comfort in these trying times. While this happened, a loud whoosh caught everyone's attention and they saw that the jury had returned. This was it, this was the moment. Everyone returned to their seats, while Donner stood from his stand. Ready for whatever may come. "Has the jury reached a decision?" Judge Bighorn questioned.

"We have your honor." The leader said before standing up to read the verdict. "We've looked over the evidence, all that was provided. We've discussed the alternatives and possibilities. But we, the jury, find the defendant guilty of all charges."

"What?!" Octavia exclaimed.

"Shit!" Nash clicked his tongue.

"Yes!" Stella exclaimed happily.

"Fuck you!" A random demon exclaimed and while other demons were cheering and pleased Stolas stood up. "Actually, your honor, may I speak for a second?" The courtroom got quiet and many were confused.

"Prince Stolas, the verdict is already made and settled. Your servant is going to be executed." Judge Bighorn said. "There's nothing else that you can do."

"Actually, I believe there is..." The owl demon replied. "Although the verdict is final, there is another alternative to resolving this issue."

"And what are you proposing, my prince?" The demon questioned the red eyed prince.

"As a royal of hell, I declare, Pandemonium."

"Pandemonium?" The twins tilted their heads. Hearing this got everyone going and talking and Paimon of course raising an eyebrow. Was his son really this stupid? The judge himself was appalled by what he's suggesting. Rather than a mere execution, he chose this? Donner himself was also confused as well as he continued listening to them.

"You do know what you're demanding, correct?"

"Yes, I know the risks."

"Are you sure about this? Because once it starts, it will not end until it is finished." There was a brief moment of silence. Stolas has come so far, there's no turning back now. "By my own maker, I am."

"Very well." Bighorn accepted it. "In accordance with this court, the verdict will be determined through Pandemonium. This hearing will continue tomorrow. In the meantime, the one called Donner will receive treatment to finish healing from his previous battle. He'll need it." The gavel was slammed signaling that it was decided and the guards started to take Donner away.

"Seriously, what the fuck did he meant by Pandemonium?" Stu questioned anyone willing to listen to him. "Dad?" Octavia looked over to her father who wasn't paying attention to either her or Stella. Instead he looked over to Merida. "Ensure they are brought."

"Does that include the other thing my prince?"

"Yes, bring that as well."

"It'll be done." Merida bowed before making her leave.

"Dad, what's going on?" Stolas still wasn't answering her question and right then Stella came up to him. "You really that desperate, Stolas, is that it?"

"I'm not willing to give up on him."

"Oh so you're willing to put this family through more embarrassment while you're at it?"

"You know what this is for Stella, after all, this has been a part of Hells Society since the very beginning."

The older owl woman scoffed. "Fine, maybe I'll finally have my wish of being rid of that nuisance." She started to walk away. "By all means, send him to his impending demise." By the time she left the room Stolas really couldn't help but vent. "I swear that woman is working every last one of my nerves."

"Dad!" Octava finally got her fathers attention. "What's Pandemonium?"

The prince of the Goetia Family sighs, calmly looking down at his teenage daughter. "It's a trial by combat."

"A trial by combat? So wait, that means Donner will have a fair advantage, won't he?"

"No Via, it's not that simple...It's him facing seven trials, each one being worse than the last. Far stronger than anything Donner has ever fought before. It is said that only a select few have survived this particular trial."

"But he can still possibly pull this off right?" He didn't respond. "Dad?"

"As I said only a few have pulled this off, the first being the very ruler of hell itself. Many who were put into this trial weren't so lucky."

"But... that would mean?..." "Yes. But I fear this is the only way to save him now." Octavia couldn't believe this, her friend barely survived one fight with a giant robot but now he was going to have to fight for his life again?

"Dad, is there really no other way around this? You stand among the most elite few in Hell's nobility."

Stolas frowned at her daughter. Hesitant to bring her hopes up this time. "I'm sorry, sweetheart. Even if I could, there's nothing I can do. With how my reputation is, no one will listen to me." He put a hand on her shoulder. "Understand, even though I don't wish for this, the odds are against him. If he's going to make it through this, then there's only one way to do so. What he does is in his blood, and it's what he's good at." The two of them start to make thier leave. "All we can do right now is give our support, and very possibly our final goodbyes."

Tears started flowing out of the teens eyes and she went to strike at her father. "No! You're lying!"

"I'm sorry Via..."

"What the fuck is wrong with you!?" She pushed Stolas who was startled by this outburst he'd never seen this from her before. "After everything he's done for you and all that loyalty he's shown, sticking up for you, you do this!?"

"It was the only way, Via. I truly wish there was another way." The owl demon told her daughter as calmly as he could.

"Bullshit there was!" He went to try and hug her but she was fighting back putting his arms around her. "No, don't touch me!"

Ignoring her protests he holds on to her struggling form. "I'm so sorry."

"Liar! You're not sorry!" The owl girl screamed, continuing to pound into his chest. "You weren't sorry for what you did! You weren't sorry as other things in our life were tumbling down! And now you're saying you're sorry for this!? Liar!" Enduring her outburst and the beating she's throwing his way. Stolas holds on to his daughter firmly, knowing this is all he can do now. Eventually she stopped hitting him and buried her crying face into his chest.

From the side Stella watched this transpire, now all though she hated Donner, she didn't enjoy seeing her daughter be in this state she was in now. "I might've done things...But you also played a role in our daughters misery as well..." With that said she walked away knowing that she wouldn't be able to help. Her daughter cared for that stupid bird. The same stupid bird she's despised for years, she beated him and now he very well could die. Even though it'd be painful for Octavia, she'd learn that fully embracing your emotions came with a cost.

We now zoom away from the screen of the old tv showing Destiny's bar where we see Mitty the cat sharing a surprised glance with the host and owner.

Meow

"Yeah... This was not what I was hoping for. Then again, the game was rigged from the start."

Meow

"I have no idea what'll happen next." Destiny shook its head. The host proceeds to pick up the cat carrying the feline in its arms. "I do feel so much for poor Octavia though..."

Meow

"Oh, yes everyone else included." Destiny started to pet the cat. "This will be very hard..." The owner proceeds to sit down, setting Mitty onto the table.

"But, at the same time too, this very well could be the end."

Meow

"I know-I know it's bitter to think that way...But we'll just have to find out and see what happens next." Destiny looks over to the readers/audience. "Well, there you all have it, we'll see you next time."
