The eye candy glanced at himself in a handheld mirror before sitting down. "Hey, Josh," he greeted as he gave him a handshake. "I'm pretty stoked for this interview business. Let's get started."
"You're probably the first one to be happy about being interviewed," Josh acknowledged. "A nice change of pace. So, let's start with Ezekiel."
"I don't think much of him, though I find the idea of him being 'cool' pretty hilarious."
"Now, what about Eva? You charmed her in the Island special for the briefcase."
"I'll admit she's a tough and worthy competitor when she isn't consumed by anger. It's a bit of a shame she didn't compete again because I would look forward to beating her in a rematch."
"Now, onto the so-called 'anti-you'." Justin smirked at Noah's picture. "I personally don't get the grudge he has against me," he said. "Well, unless you count the time I used my incredible charm to get the briefcase in the special. I guess he considers me the 'anti-him' because of that. But I don't really consider him an enemy."
"Let's move to the BFFs Katie and Sadie," Josh continued.
"Ugh! Those two are SO ANNOYING! All they do is yap-yap-yap to each other. It wasn't a surprise Katie got cut early, and the only reason Sadie didn't follow her was because of the stupid rules of the Phobia Factor challenge and the win streak the Bass had. Don't care for them in the slightest."
"You didn't compete with Tyler much, as you were both cut early and competed again but on different seasons."
"Honestly, the only things I know about Tyler come from Lindsay, but they were positive things. And I felt a little bad about him getting constantly injured. But other than that, I can't say we talk much."
"So, I recall Izzy claiming you two dated for a bit before she dumped you."
"I wouldn't say we 'dated', as I honestly saw it as just a fling. I tried explaining that to Izzy, but she simply didn't want to hear it and called me a liar before she 'dumped' me. After a while, I started to regret hooking up with her. She was just too wild for my taste. By the time Action rolled around, we weren't on better terms. Before the Grips' first elimination, I tried to convince everyone, save for Owen, to vote Izzy off before she became a problem. I was a little grateful...until she was allowed to return thanks to some stupid loophole. And then she had the nerve to insult MY LOOKS in front of EVERYONE!" Justin took a breath. "I know it sounds shallow," he admitted, "But I take great pride in my appearance, so Izzy's insults felt like a blow to the groin for me. After Action, we didn't speak again, and I'd like to keep it that way."
"Ooh, interesting," Josh chuckled. "Now we're up to one of your boy band members. Thoughts on Cody?"
"The guy breathes 'confidence', even if his skills sometimes falter. While Trent and Harold mainly run The Drama Brothers, you can't deny that Cody can play a keyboard like no other. And he's probably the only guy in the band I didn't have ANY problems with. The guy also trusts me wholeheartedly...and we even hooked up once in a while."
"Really, now?"
"Yes, we're both bi, though Cody's much more reluctant to admit it as he wants to be seen as a 'ladies man'. But it wasn't anything too serious. The guy was still mad for Gwen, though I heard rumors about both Heather and Al making a play for him in World Tour, and I don't mean a strategical play. We're still good friends to this day."
"Let's move onto Beth. You managed to charm her for a few episodes in Action."
"Yes, I won't deny that. And I also won't deny that she's a very sweet girl. That's why I voted for her to win in Action's finale. The only bad thing I have to say about her is that she doesn't know a damn thing about romance. Just look at her talk between her and Harold. I still consider her a good friend."
"Now, this next one ought to be interesting." Justin sighed at Courtney's picture. "I honestly was drawn to how fiery she was," he admitted, "And I got a little bit of puppy love for her. But after I was eliminated and arrived at the Aftermath studio, I managed to snap back to my senses. I honestly believe that there's a heart buried in her, though it might just be wishful thinking on my part. She's one of those 'my way or the highway' people that can't take changes to her picture perfect vision very well. I can't say we chatted much after Action, though."
"That explains a few things," Josh murmured. "What about the next member of the Drama Brothers? You must have some juice on Harold."
"The guy can be quite skilled, though he can be a bit too prideful in his skills. We didn't start to talk until Action, and the guy's okay when he's not putting his foot in his mouth. I did felt a bit bad for betraying him in that fairy tale challenge, but we managed to make up after he got eliminated. Harold's a good guy, but I won't lie that he's the one I tend to argue with most in the Drama Brothers."
"Speaking of which, time to cover the last member of the Drama Brothers, Trent."
"Like Harold, we only started to chat once Action rolled around. And he's usually chill, but..."
"But?" Josh asked. Justin sighed before continuing. "The guy was simply too laser-focused on his relationship with Gwen and not enough on the game," he admitted. "I started to notice his odd behavior after the beach challenge, so I decided to try to keep a close eye on him. When I overheard him and Gwen confessing to throwing the challenges, I was pretty upset with the duo. After all, they were supposed to be LEADING the team! So I convinced the team to turf the duo. But after the season ended, I was a little surprised Trent didn't hold any grudges. We were fairly cool when starting our band, with him only getting sore whenever I tried to play guitar. I'll admit I stink at that."
"Quite a lot of dirt there," Josh commented as he slid the next picture up. "Now, I don't recall you and Bridgette interacting much."
"And we really didn't until World Tour's first Aftermath. Everyone was basically choosing sides regarding the whole cheating dilemma, and I decided to side with her. Yes, she did technically cheat, but only because she was pressured to. And like most of the others, I was angry at Blainley for sending her to Siberia. But other than that, Bridgette and I didn't really chat much."
"What about Lindsay? You also flirted with her a bit."
"No, no, no! That was clearly one-sided, from HER. I didn't try to return it because she had a boyfriend. I do have some standards, you know. I did find her to be quite a good person, even if she could be a bit airheaded at times and she even gave me a few beauty tips like how to keep my skin so silky smooth. We're still good friends."
"Now, what are your thoughts on him?" Justin smiled a little at DJ's picture. "The man definitely knows how to stick to his morals," he commented. "Which is hard to do in a competition like TD. He was pretty closed off to most of the guys during Action because of his alliance with Chef, but he was pretty chill when we did speak. When World Tour hit, I honestly felt bad for him going through that animal curse. The guy definitely didn't deserve that! I wouldn't say me and DJ are super-close, but I do consider him a good friend."
"You and Geoff didn't interact much in Island or Action," Josh recalled, "But you certainly spent some time with him in the World Tour Aftermath."
"I guess, but the only time we really talked was the first Aftermath. He was pissed I sided with Bridgette instead of him regarding the whole cheating debate, even after I explained things. We're not exactly on the best of terms."
"Let's move onto Leshawna. You were voted out early in Island, but you definitely must've talked in Action."
"Yeah, I did. She was nice, but sometimes her niceness seemed...forced. When Harold told me how she tricked the Gaffers into giving her the spa day, I was a little shocked that she would stoop that low. But what REALLY upset me was when she badmouthed us behind our backs! That's partly why I tried to unite the remaining guys after the merge. I wouldn't say we're friends, but we're not on bad terms, either."
"Oh, this one ought to be good!" Justin sighed as Duncan's picture came up. "The guy wasn't half-bad at first," he admitted. "But by the time Action rolled around, his true colors started to shine much more clearly, and the guy was a grade-A JERK. He relentlessly bullied Harold for no real reason, treated his teammates like crap, not to mention his love interest. I wasn't lying when I told him he didn't deserve her. I don't try to keep in touch with the guy anymore."
"Let's move on," Josh continued. "Heather cut you out pretty early in Island, so you must have some resentment towards her."
"Meh, not really. She was just doing what she was doing to win, and I got the short end of the stick. But I can't say I approved of her stunts like reading Gwen's diary or kissing Trent. In Action, I tried to keep my distance so she wouldn't try any tricks on me again. But in World Tour, I noticed she started to improve a little. I think losing everything in Island and her weak run in Action humbled her. Don't get me wrong; she still tried a few tricks. But at least she wasn't as bad as her so-called love interest. I was definitely rooting for her to win."
"Now, you mentioned being sore at Gwen when talking about Trent."
"Only with those two throwing the challenges!" Justin declared. "But while Trent was a bit more forgiving, Gwen was definitely harsher with me regarding that ordeal. But I kept a calm head and explained my point of view to her, and she seemed to cool off. We managed to be on better terms by the time World Tour rolled around, and after that horrid excuse that is All Stars, I tried to get her and Trent to reconnect. Outside of the contest, they seem to bring out the best in each other."
"Oh, really? How did that turn out?"
"Well, Gwen and Trent both accused me of setting them up, which I suppose was technically true, so I don't blame them for getting upset. But I decided to leave the duo be in order to talk things out. What happened after that I have no knowledge about."
"Gee, thanks for that," Josh sarcastically noted. "Let's move onto Owen, who seemed VERY interested in you."
"Okay, it was no secret in the guys' side of the Gopher cabin that Owen had the hots for both guys and girls," Justin began. "So it was natural for him to become attracted to my good looks. But I didn't exactly feel the same way about him. Don't get me wrong, though; he's a great pal to have by your side."
"And yet you decided to vote his girlfriend off in Action."
"While that is true, I didn't force him to choose between me and her. That's how Lindsay got in the Bottom 3: because Owen voted for her instead. When I heard about his debt, I had some sympathy for him and I had utter disgust at Chris for basically blackmailing Owen into betraying his friends for his debt to be paid. I also felt bad for the big guy while watching World Tour from the Aftermaths since that awful Spaniard took COMPLETE advantage over Owen's kindness and naivety. Me and the big guy are still close friends."
"So, since you were in the Aftermaths the whole time," Josh continued as he slid the next picture up, "You probably never interacted with Sierra, correct?"
"What I know of her I've got from Cody," Justin replied, "And they weren't entirely positive. I mean, she guilt-tripped the poor guy during Paris, and the less about the 'Love Tea' and All Stars, the better. But Cody also explained that she can truly care about people. She just has some trouble with certain...limits. Cody told me that he was helping her with some therapy after All Stars, and it was looking more positive over some time. So...I'm not sure. There's a reason she's the most controversial person from the original cast. Even Courtney and Duncan fans are much more plentiful."
"Let's finish up your cast with whom many people consider a better version of you. Your thoughts on Alejandro?"
"That man is a MENACE. I get we were all trying to win, but the tactics he used were simply awful! From flirting with people who CLEARLY had relationships already to endangering Owen's life in the Amazon JUST because he irritated him a little..." Justin could only groan in frustration. "Sorry for the loss of composure there," he apologized after calming down.
"Let's just say you're not the first to complain about that Spanish heartthrob," Josh commented. "So, did you interact with any of the other two generations?"
"Well, I have interacted with Anne-Maria quite a bit, as I am a model for her company and someone I engage in an on again/off again relationship, and she's actually nicer than people claim. I've also met Topher once, and I've never seen a bigger ego than his! But other than them, I can't say I've really met with the other cast members."
"Let's wrap this interview up with your thoughts on the new cast."
"Bowie is definitely my favorite out of the new cast. Dude isn't afraid of playing the game, but he also sounds really nice outside of the competition. I like that in a person. Oh, and I definitely am backing his relationship with Raj. It's really sweet."
"Well, thank you for your time, Justin. I must say, this is quite a pleasant change of pace from the previous interviews."
"No problem, Josh. Glad to do this." Justin soon got up and left the studio. "Let's see who's next," Josh murmured as he glanced at a list. "Oh, no... Those two. Hopefully they'll keep their squeals down to a minimum."
Mister Hot himself! The OG eye candy. I think I did Justin's interview very well. Mainly expanded his interactions with the Drama Brothers, a touch on Beth and Lindsay, and of course the psycho hose beast Izzy.
The next duo wanted to do their interview together, so...why not? Until next time, this is Dunsparce519 saying enjoy and have a good day!
