Hey guys.
I live!
I have been very busy for the last few months so i haven't had the time or energy to write/post. More on that after the chapter.
Just letting you know, this is a shorter chapter. As much as I love Suki, this episode wasn't one of my favorites.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter!
"What do you mean I have to stay here?" Reyna hissed, her arms crossed.
"I mean what I said! It's to dangerous for you to come." Zuko argued, baring his teeth. In the background, Iroh was sitting at his table, a cup of steaming tea resting in his hands.
"And it's not dangerous for you? You do know you're not the only firebender here, right?"
"Of course not! Why are you being so difficult!"
"Oh, I'm being difficult? You're the one who's-"
"I can't have this right now." He grunted, cutting her off and walked outside of the room, slamming the door shut behind him.
"We're not done with this conversation!" She shouted at him, though being fully aware that he couldn't hear her. "Get back here!"
He did not, in fact, return to the room
"I really hate him sometimes." She said, plopping next to Iroh.
Iroh took another small sip of his cup of tea. "Why is that?" He asked, his gaze not leaving the tea.
"Because I need to talk to Aang!" She placed a hand on her chest to push her point. "You don't understand."
"I don't need to." Iroh sighed. "Like my nephew, you need to find your own way. Although I would like to, I cannot lead you through your hardships."
Reyna sighed. "I know. I know." She smiled softly at him. "Thanks for trying though."
Iroh perked up, an idea coming to him. "How's this? You can use this time to read more about yourself, as well as the other Avatars?"
"Hate to break it to you, but I've already learned everything." Reyna said, lettering head fall. "There's nothing else to read."
"There's always something to learn, though it may not be clear to us at first glance."
Reyna stood, smiling. "Thank you for that. I think it is a good idea. Perhaps I missed something bout the Avatar spirit. I mean, how can it be passed down if I'm still alive and kicking right?"
"Right."
"With information, who needs Zuko? He can go kick whatever he wants to get his anger out. I can find my own way home."
A drop of sweat made it's way down Iroh's head. "That's not really what I-"
"Thank you so much, Mr. Iroh." Reyna said, bowing. "I'm going to study like I've never studied before!" Then she was gone, leaving a worried Iroh behind.
Reyna was tried.
It was been hours since Zuko had left to try to, once again, capture Aang.
To be honest with herself, she had no intention of studying. She just needed some time to herself.
She wanted to sleep.
She wanted to cry.
She wanted to go home.
She wanted a lot of things.
Reyna sighed, rolling onto her side. She bed was soft, but a bit cold. It made her feel uneasy.
When's Zuko coming back? She asked herself. We left on bad terms. I should probably apologize. That would be a smart idea, right?
She sat up, knocking off a scroll off of her sheets.
She sighed. She hated slow days like this.
On normal days, she would have been sparing with Zuko or talking with the kitchen staff.
Unfortunately, the staff was busy and Zuko was truing to catch a child.
Reyna picked up the fallen scroll, slipping it open.
Avatars of the Past
Written By: Kenji
As everyone knows, the Avatar cycle is a simple passing down of the spirit to one being to another. Once an Avatar dies, the spirit chooses another host.
"I already know this." Reyna muttered, rolling the scroll back up and throwing it off the bed. "Perhaps i should try to find Makai."
Makai was a young man who had been chosen to help Zuko on his quest. He was nice, nicer then some of the other soldiers.
Though Reyna had only met him a few times, they had gotten along every time they talked.
"Makai." She called, waving at the solider.
He turned from his task. His ash brown hair was tied back, showing off his warn eyes and soft features.
"Hey Rin." He waved.
"Hi." She leaned over his shoulder. "What are you doing?"
"Scanning possible routes." He said, pointing at the scroll. "I suspect that the prince isn't going to capture the Avatar today. We need to be prepared for trying to find him again. After all, he is a kid."
"I worry about him sometimes?"
Makai tilted his head. "The Prince or the Avatar?"
"Why not both?"
Makai tilted his head back and let out a laugh. Reyna laughed along sides him.
"HA! I shouldn't be speaking about the Prince like this." He said, whipping away tears.
"Zuko's not here." Reyna shrugged. "And I talk like this to his face."
"That shows how brave you are." Makai beamed. "I admire that about you."
Reyna felt her face grow warm. "T-thanks."
"Anytime."
Zuko returned later that day.
Like she had expected, he was covered in soot. Aang was nowhere in sight.
Instantly, he leaned into her, placing his head int he crook of her neck.
"Hey there." She said, patting his back. "You good?"
His only response was a heavy groan.
"Come on." She humming, leading him back into his room. "Let's get you cleaned up."
Makai!
He is a human version of a golden retriever. I love him so much.
Like I said before, I've been busy with a lot of things. Once of those things this this: I'm writing a book! I think I've already mentioned this, if not now you know. I just finished page 250!
Sorry that this chapter didn't have much action. Hopefully the next one will. I need to re-watch the episode.

Work(Rihanna)
Why? Because Reyna was working without working? Does that make sense? Not really.
