This Date's Gonna be Exceptional

Once Danny made it to the nearest bus stop, he morphed and flew on his way home.

Upon returning home after flying non-stop, he greeted his parents and then went up to his room, his date with Wendy still on his mind. He looked at the phone number in his hand. Most of his successful dates had either kissed him on the cheeks or on the lips, so this is a pleasantly new surprise.

Despite his lack of success with girls in Amity Park, even he knew that getting a girl's number or e-mail was a sign he did something right.

"Wendy…" Danny said as he thought about the girl from Gravity Falls.

She was different from most of the other girls he has dated in this program and he found himself liking it. She's tomboyish, chill and clearly isn't self conscious and she also is honest about who she is and what she likes, and given her interaction with that Dipper kid, she is good with kids. He knew that he liked that in a person.

After the chaos of Star Butterfly, Wendy was the remedy he needed to feel at ease.

That's when his phone rang.

"We know this part. He gets in touch with Tucker, he almost got Cree, then we're moving on with the next girl, right?" Deadpool asks.

Before NeoMark could answer, another of his co-workers appeared at the doorway.

"Hey everyone! Batguy just told me how a certain someone left some messages on his car. He is NOT happy…" 61394 said.

''Why is Number boy here? His dates involved a Marvel character, a Klasky Csupo character and an Animaniacs character, right?" Deadpool asks.

"What's the point of showing up when people expect you to show up, that's why." 61394 answered

"So, it's about time we see who is replacing Debbie Thornberry. I already said she's from a show where her dad is the best character and she's just kind of the least interesting of the family." NeoMark said.

"To be fair, when you're voiced by Tim Curry, you're automatically the best character." Deadpool said.

"I really like Wild Thornberrys, but yeah, I would have skipped Debbie too." 61394 said.

"So, let's see which character from Milo Murphy's Law it is." NeoMark said.

"Ah… finally seeing who won that little vote." 61394 said.

"Care to join us, Number Boy?" Deadpool asks.

"And watch Danny go out with a girl who almost was a Nicktoon? Sure… Fun fact readers, Marsh and Povenmire pitched Phineas and Ferb to Nick before Disney, but Nick said no. Same thing happened with Ed, Edd and Eddy and the Owl House."

"Is that a yes?" NeoMark asks.

"It's a yes, I just wanted to share that fun fact" 61394 answered, summoning a theater chair and a box of Mike and Ikes. "Let's get this show on the road Neo"

With that, the three watched for themselves.

After Danny's talk with Tucker, he decided to see who he had next.

User Name: Mighty Melissa

Age: 13

Gender: Female

Height: 5 ft 2 inches

Weight: 105 lb

Home Town: Danville

Physical Description: I am a young, slender girl with blue eyes, light skin and wavy, shoulder-length ginger hair.

Personality: I am confident and self assured. I am considered smart, but sometimes scatterbrained and forgetful, but hey, I'm learning. I am also very loyal and supportive to my friends, no matter how crazy the situation ends up being.

Likes and Interests: Chinchillas, journalism, playing guitar, martial arts, music and dancing.

Type of person I wish to date: someone easy going who can roll with whatever punches Murphy's law will inevitably dish out

"Huh, 13? I didn't realize I'd get someone that much younger than me." Danny said to himself as he made notes in his phone just where in this town he'd be meeting her. Googolplex mall. "Well, guess I should get ready."

The next day

Arriving in Danville, Danny dusted himself clean out of a fear he'd look unpresentable.

"Younger or not, gotta make a good show." He said to himself, thinking about how he's met girls older than him or the same age, yet made a good impression with them. "Okay… any second now, she-"

"Hey..." A girl said as she suddenly appeared, walking up to him.

"Uh, hi…" Danny said.

"So, you're D-Fenton, amiright?" She asks with a slight smile.

Before him was a redhead roughly smaller than him, one who wore a white jacket, a black shirt, a pink skirt and hi-top sneakers.

"That's me, the D is for Danny. You're Mighty Melissa?" He asks.

"Just Melissa, Melissa Chase to be precise." She said with a wink and a confident grin.

"Cool, Melissa. So… these are for you." Danny said, offering the flowers.

Melissa took the flowers and smiled at Danny.

"Gentlemanly, I like it." She said as he offered her arm. "So, let's get going?" She asks.

"Aha! I knew it! Another redhead!" Deadpool said as he held his hand out. "Pay up, Number Boy!"

61394 only raised an eyebrow.

"We didn't bet, that was the Warners who bet it with you. I only betted Neo would use at least one new redhead." 61394 said.

"Aww dang…" Deadpool groaned.

"So… yeah, Melissa wins. I admit, I almost went with Sara since I think it'd be fun to imagine if Danny became involved in the Murphy family and witnessed the family curse himself if he had a boy with them… but it looks like Melissa Chase was the preferred choice. It helps that Melissa is best friends with Milo, so Danny can see for himself the craziness of it all." NeoMark said.

"It also helps that she has more screen time than Sara." 61394 said. "Also Melissa only starts dating Zack at the very end of the show while Sara has a boyfriend throughout the show."

"Yeah yeah blah blah blah, character growth, bring on the Murphy's law shenanigans." Deadpool said.

"Anyway… let's see where this date goes, shall we?" NeoMark asks as he gestures for them to watch.

Danny walked with Melissa down the streets of Danville as she gestured all around.

"And that's the fire department where my dad works." She said.

"Neat." Danny said before deciding to take a first step. "So, Melissa? Tell me about yourself? As nice as the town is, I'd like to get to know you more first."

"Well, let's see…" Melissa said before she began to list things off. "I like hanging out with my friends...even when things go crazy, I can be a bit hyper focused when I research something, go to Jefferson County Middle School and I hope to one day become a journalist...or a queen. Either one."

"You answered that like you thought I would ask." Danny commented.

"You know it. Boom." Melissa went.

"Boom?" Danny asks.

"It's a thing. So, tell me about yourself, Danny?" Melissa asks.

"Well, I go to Casper High in Amity Park, I like bowling, I'm aiming to be an astronaut." Danny began.

"Okay… sounds cool…" Melissa said, hearing with some interest.

"And I-" It was then Danny heard something. "Do you hear that?"

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a herd of cattle, apparently having been transported, charged through the street, much to Danny's shock.

"Huh, he must be here." Melissa said.

"He? He who?" Danny asks.

His answer came when one person walked out of the stampede without any major harm. One person with a sweater vest, shorts and a backpack.

"Hi Melissa." He greeted her cheerfully.

"Hey, Milo." Melissa said with a wave before looking around. "So… I'm gonna stand over here." She said quickly.

"Good call." Milo said as Melissa stepped away by 10 feet.

Danny raised an eyebrow as Melissa gestured him to come closer.

"Is… this guy bothering you?" Danny asks her.

As Melissa face palmed upon realizing she hasn't told him yet, Milo became aware of Danny's presence.

"Oh, you must be her date. She and Zack decided to give it a try." Milo said.

"Okay… I'm Danny. And… you are?" Danny asks.

"Milo Murphy." Milo said as he raised a hand to shake Danny's.

Danny returned the gesture before hearing the sounds of gasps. Looking up, he saw various people were staring at the two, looking as if Danny just signed his own death certificate.

"Uh… what's their deal?" Danny asks.

"Oh, I have a bit of a reputation…" Milo said.

"Reputation?" Danny asks incredulously. "What are you? A supervillain?"

"No but I know one. People tend to use the J word, but it doesn't bother me. In fact, it's just a part of my wonderfully unusual life." Milo said.

It was then Danny heard something else.

"Uh, what is that?" Danny asks, dreading as the sounds got closer.

"Uh, Danny?" Melissa got his attention before pointing to the cause of the sound.

It's another stampede but this one is of llamas instead of cows. This caused everyone in the street to run for their lives.

As Danny screamed off the top of his head, he noticed Milo and Melissa were being very casual about it.

"Uh, last I checked, stampeding llamas or anything is bad! Why aren't you screaming?!" He asks, curiosity mixed with dread.

"I find it doesn't help, just hurts the larynx." Milo admitted before an idea sprung. "Give me your other hand, wouldja?"

Milo reaches into his backpack grabbing a grappling hook he spins it around hooking it to a lamppost pulling the three up out of the way of the stampeding llamas.

"So… if we make it through this, I call dibs on where we eat first." Melissa said, holding out a pen and paper, taking the pen with her mouth as she began to write with it.

"Seriously?" Danny asks.

That's when the sounds of a dog barking got their attention. To Danny's surprise, a dog was under the lamppost wagging his tail.

"Diogee, no! Go home! I'm off to run an errand!" Milo reprimanded lightly as Diogee ran back home. "Silly dog. He's not supposed to be outside on his own." He apologizes to Danny, who looks disinterested.

"Is now a good time to worry about what your dog is doing?" Danny asks.

"Probably not, now hang on." Milo said as he began to lower them down.

The sounds of the stampede slowly left as Danny held Melissa's hand tightly.

"No worries… we'll be fine." She assured him quickly and calmly.

Danny raised an eyebrow as he started to wonder what the J word was.

Once it was done, all of them let out a breath of relief before Milo looked away.

"You two might wanna slide over this way." He said quickly.

The two moved in time, avoiding a fallen steel beam.

With that done, Danny slowly turned his attention to Milo and Melissa.

"Let me guess, the J word is "jinxed", right?" Danny asks as if knowing the answer.

"Yeah, pretty much." Milo admitted.

"That's Murphy's law for you" Melissa added.

"Murphy's law?" Danny asks. "You mean the whole idea where anything can go wrong will go wrong?"

"That's the one." Milo said as he started walking away. "Well, see you guys later."

"Later, Milo." Melissa says with a wave.

Danny watched as Milo casually walked while he avoided a falling tree branch, the bulb of a lamppost and what looked like a piece of a satellite without even noticing.

"Your friend is very… uh… interesting." Danny said.

"Yeah, he can be. So, y'like hot dogs? I know a place." Melissa said.

Danny raised an eyebrow at how oddly casual she is on what just happened.

Later

At Slushy Dawg, the two enjoyed their food.

"What do you think?" Melissa asks.

"Pretty good." Danny said.

As that went on, one person took notice of Melissa and approached.

"Hello, Melissa." A boy with glasses said to her in an almost flirtatious manner.

"Sup, Bradley." Melissa greeted casually.

Bradley glanced around as if on edge.

"Where's Milo?" He asks.

"Doing some errands. Right now, Zack and I are going on blind dates." She explained.

"Ah, I was mildly curious where he was." Bradley said.

"Said he had a date in Metro-something with a girl named SweetViolet." Melissa said

"Oh, he's with Violet?" Danny asks, getting their attention. "She's a nice girl, I'm sure they'll have fun."

"Ah, you know her? Is she pretty?" Melissa asks.

"Yeah." Danny said before he noticed Bradley glaring at him with glasses tilted downward. "Uh, can I help you?"

"You're new around here, aren't you?" Bradley asks in a condescending manner.

"Why's that any problem of yours?" Danny asks.

"Well, I advise you to clear away from Milo Murphy." Bradley said. "He causes disaster and destruction on purpose just for the heck of it"

"Bradley, for the last time, Milo isn't some super villain. It's just Murphy's Law and he has no control over." Melissa stated.

"I met the guy. So he's… kind of unlucky, that's not a good reason to tell me to avoid him." Danny said.

"Oh no? How about the floods or sudden fires? Or the fact that no matter what anyone does he still finds a way to cause destruction?" Bradley said. "It's a miracle he has time to get anything done."

"Well, if you're so sure, care to make a wager that he finishes his errands on time?" Melissa challenged.

"Fine. I bet all your snickerdoodles for an entire box of pudding if he can't make it before sundown!" Bradley insisted.

"Deal." Melissa said.

With that done, the sound of an animal's hiss got their attention. Turning their heads, they saw a tiger and a lion engaged in battle, scaring people off.

"And… he's here." Bradley said in disappointment.

The two large animals were then hit with tranquilizer darts from Animal Control as the vans came to collect them. Milo then walked past them, something they noticed just now.

"Hey, Milo! That's a new scar?" One of them greeted him cheerfully.

"Yeah, thanks for noticing." Milo said with a smile.

Bradley grumbled as he walked away, something Danny noticed.

"Milo!" Melissa said, getting his attention. "Finished those errands yet?" She asks.

"Not yet. Was planning to grab a bite before I finished. I'd ask if you wanna come, but I don't wanna intrude on your date with Danny." Milo said.

"Where to?" Danny asks.

"How about a quick bite here at Slushy Dawg? Quick and easy." Milo said.

"Huh… what exactly is the errand you're running?" Melissa asks.

"I'm getting some important Doctor Zone merch for my sister, and I just went to drop off some stuff at the zoo that my dad promised the guys doing construction there for." Milo explains.

"That explains what we've seen so far with those two big kitties." Melissa said.

As Milo went to make his order, Danny let his curiosity grow.

"Okay, what's the deal?" Danny asks.

"What do you mean?" Melissa asks.

"Why is it that Milo seems to be a magnet for bizarre bad luck happening?" Danny asks.

"Oh shoot, I didn't tell you? Milo is a descendent of Edward A Murphy Jr, the guy who came up with Murphy's Law." Melissa explained.

"And…?" Danny asks.

"And… that's it. His family is kind of cursed or something so Murphy's Law always happens to the guys. The girls are lucky, so his big sister is safe. His dad's even a safety inspector, using that curse to his advantage." Melissa explained as she casually took a bite out of her lunch.

All the while, Danny raised an eyebrow.

So… anything that can go wrong around him… will go wrong? He then looked in the direction of Milo. I'm filing him under "be careful with him at all costs". He's like Johnny 13, all the bad luck minus the sleazy flirting or being evil.

Later

Danny walked with Melissa, having long since finished lunch with her.

"So, where to?" Danny asks.

"We're gonna follow Milo." She said casually.

Danny stopped in his tracks upon hearing that.

"Wait, what?" Danny asks.

"I gotta win my bet with Bradley. Believe me, the puddings he gets are tasty and worth it. Plus, I gotta make sure that Milo doesn't get too sidetracked...and keep track of the bet." Melissa said.

Danny was gonna question this, but recalled Milo's curse. He wondered if Milo would get himself and Melissa hurt and figured that they'd need some ghostly help.

"I… guess… we could do that. In case he needs help, after all…" Danny said.

Melissa seemed pleasantly surprised to hear that.

Huh? Last few guys ran away after seeing Milo's curse. I guess he's made of tougher stuff... Melissa thought before smiling.

"Okay, then let's go..." She said, smiling at him.

10 minutes later

So far so good. Danny thought as they caught up with the boy under Murphy's curse.

Milo was now at a stand that was selling Dr. Zone merchandise. His eyes lit up when he arrived.

"Salutations..." Milo said while the manager was reading a paper. "So, I'd like to purchase these Dr. Zone 60th anniversary figures for my sister..."

"I know that voice..." The owner said as he put it down. "Milo? That a new scar? Also… how quickly can we make this purchase as I don't want my store to get set on fire? … again." The manager said.

Danny and Melissa, who were nearby, saw this. Danny blinked.

I guess everyone in town knows about it. He thought.

"Okay, nothing can stop me n-" Melissa was then distracted by something from afar. "Ooh, snow cones. I'll be right back…" She said, walking off.

Just as soon as she left, it happened. The stand suddenly started to collapse and a flood of flavored syrups headed straight towards Milo.

"Oh no..." Danny said in horror.

Seeing that Melissa was distracted, he quickly went ghost when no one was looking and froze the syrup inches from hitting Milo. Milo turned to see his reflection in all the colored syrup

"Huh… that's interesting." Milo said in mild surprise.

Danny returned to where he was as Melissa arrived.

"Did I miss anything?" She asks.

"No… he just avoided getting swept away by snow cone syrup." Danny said. "Somehow from a different stand than the one you went to."

"Wait, for reals?" Melissa asks after swallowing.

To everyone surprise, the usual Milo bad luck didn't happen as badly as usual.

Milo and Melissa were extremely surprised, unaware of the ghostly help they received.

'Huh? Not nearly as bad as I expected..." The stands owner said, somewhat relieved.

''What am I supposed to do with a truck load of fish?" A fish truck driver with a load of fish complained, somehow the door to the truck unlocked, the scent attracting dozens of alley cats that rushed for the truck.

With Milo in the way.

Oh come on! Danny thought, seeing no one was looking, he grabbed Milo, turning them both intangible until the cats passed.

Melissa had covered her eyes, fearing for the worst, only to open to see Milo unharmed.

"Melissa?" Milo asks.

"Weird… you're not hit or covered in cat fur or anything?" Melissa asks.

"Odd, I know." Milo admitted.

"Huh. this might be the luckiest day you've had so far." Melissa said, surprised by all the ways it could've gone wrong didn't go as wrong as normal.

"Aww... I was kind of hoping for something more exciting to happen." Milo said.

As that went on, Danny noticed something he overlooked. Namely, the alley cats. All of them are still present and hissing at them.

"Oh crud..." Danny muttered.

That's when Diogee suddenly appeared. He started barking, scaring the cats away in a panic. However, Diogee didn't chase after them. He just ran up to Milo wagging his tail.

"Good boy, Diogee." Milo said, giving him a treat. "But I do need you to go home." He said before scratching his dog's head. "Go home."

With that, Diogee left.

Danny let out a breath.

"Relief..." He muttered before thinking more trouble would be on the way. ''Hey Milo? How about we walk with you just in case?"

''Sure, if you want. I wouldn't want to get in the way of yours and Melissa's time together." Milo answered with a shrug.

"It's no problem, I promise." Danny assured him.

Huh… he's got no problem wanting to help his date's friend. Nice… Melissa thought.

As they walked along, Danny noticed a nearby beehive that looked ready to fall up ahead. Thinking fast, Danny spotted a bee hive that looked like it was going to fall.

"Is that a restaurant?" Danny asks.

As the two looked away, he fired a ghost beam that sent the hive flying away, not seeing where it landed.

"See, Mildred. I told you the sky was blue." Scott the undergrounder explained to his 'girlfriend' Mildred they were about to go back underground when the beehive landed next to them. "Hello flying beehive, will you be our leader?" The only answer Scott got was a street sweeper driving by pushing the beehive away "Huh, I guess not. Oh well, come on Mildred" Scott said, disappearing back underground.

"Huh, wasn't there a beehive up ahead?" Milo asks, seeing it gone now.

"Weird, how that didn't bother us as much as it usually would." Melissa admitted.

"I know…" Milo said before looking somewhat uncomfortable. "It's kinda scary… Like I'm being haunted or something."

10 minutes later

Milo carried the merchandise home as Melissa and Danny walked him home to help keep damage minimum.

"So far so good…" Danny said under his breath.

"Stop right there!" A skinny looking crossing guard said, holding a stop sign in Milo's face turning it around the other side read Milo "Milo".

"Ugh, Decker…" Melissa said disdainfully.

"Hi, Elliot." Milo said.

"Don't "hi Elliott" me!" Decker snapped.

"You know this guy?" Danny asked.

"I'm in charge of safety around here young man, and the biggest threat to safety is this public is right in front of me Milo Murphy." Elliot the crossing guard explained hatefully.

That's a little harsh… Danny thought

"What about that guy jaywalking over there?" Danny asked.

Elliot turned, seeing there was indeed someone jaywalking.

"Hey! I see you!" He shouted. While he wasn't looking Milo and the others walked past him

Danny looked at Milo and could tell he wasn't a bad guy. He could see the sincerity in him and realized that he didn't mean to cause any of this disastrous stuff. It made him feel sorry for him.

"It must be tough..." Danny said with sympathy.

"What is?" Milo asked, acting clueless.

"All this...you being...well..." Danny paused, not sure how to word it.

Milo realized what he was trying to say and sent him a positive smile.

"You don't need to worry about me, Danny. It's just Murphy's law. And I like it that way" Milo said in an optimistic way.

"Uh...come again?" Danny asked.

"I mean, whatever can happen happens. It makes life exciting. Sure, some stuff gets damaged but it's not like someone ever gets hurt besides me sometimes..." Milo explained. "I mean other people they take the bus to school, I get to surf on a pipe down a raging river and get dropped by a flying saucer. Doesn't that sound more fun?"

"So...you aren't bothered by...any of this?" Danny asked, gesturing all around them.

"I learned a long time ago that complaining or not complaining about Murphy's law doesn't help. I've got friends and family. And screaming only helps with hurting the larynx. And hey even though stuff can and will happen things have a way of working out in the end...besides everything always works out IN the end and like I said no one gets hurt. I call that a win win..." Milo said, smiling .

Danny was surprised to hear all of this.

"I didn't think of it that way." Danny admitted.

He supposed it was the same with his ghost powers. Sure, maybe not having them would make his life easier, but if he didn't then his friends, his family, everyone in Amity Park could get hurt or worse. So, in the end, it was better he had them

"Most people don't." Milo said

"I...don't know how to respond to any of that. " Danny responded.

Milo smiled.

"Don't worry, my friend Zach had the same reaction as you but he's mostly accepted it..." Milo said cheerfully.

"Mostly?" Danny asks.

"Like a season's worth of stuff." Melissa said in an oddly tongue-in-cheek way.

"Season?" Danny asks.

"Of our lives." Milo went. "From fall to winter, you know."

Danny blinked at that before deciding it wasn't worth talking about.

"So… just return home with that and that's it?" Danny asks.

"Sure thing." Milo said before noticing something behind the two. "Might wanna step over this way…"

The two turned their heads and saw a tree about to fall on them, causing them to step forward.

I know Sam is all for being unique… but I'm not sure she'd like how unique this guy's life is… Danny thought in mild shock.

He didn't think most people could walk a day in Milo Murphy's life without going crazy. Or ending up in the ICU.

The Murphy House's street

"Almost there." Milo said.

"Well, this might be the luckiest day we've had so far…" Melissa said.

Danny sighed with relief. He was a few feet back to keep an eye on trouble.

"The way over here, we almost got hit by a truck, attacked by someone's pet snake getting loose, a steamroller nearly flattened us, and somehow had a thousand swords fall from the sky and almost skewer us… but at least it's almost over…" It was then his ghost sense went off, making him gasp. "Spoke too soon…"

"You say something, Danny?" Melissa asks from afar.

"Uh… no, just remembering something important. In fact… let me go make a call to my sister, I'll be right back." He said as he hurried away around the corner.

"Hmm… odd that he couldn't just call her now." Milo said before looking up. "That's new…"

A ghostly gorilla with snow white fur, wearing a purple speedo and carrying a grandfather clock for a head appeared, slamming his hands into the concrete.

"What is that?" Melissa asks.

''That sorta looks like Time ape from Dr. Zone." Milo said

It was then Danny Phantom flew in and kicked the creature into the ground before it could harm the two.

Milo and Melissa were both flabbergasted a moment before Danny Phantom pointed away.

"You guys run! I'll deal with him!" Danny said, getting them to go.

That left him with the ape ghost. He grunted angrily as it tried to attack.

He quickly dodged a swing from the grandfather clock it carried.

"Well, look at the time." Danny quipped before blasting it in the face to distract it. "I've got places to go, people to see, bananas to eat, you get it…" Danny quipped, pulling out the thermos he sucked the ghost inside of it.

I better catch up to Melissa before she thinks I ditched her… Danny thought flying behind a mailbox to morph back.

"Wow! I've never saw a superhero up close like this before!" Milo went, feeling excitement.

Danny, having morphed back, sighed in relief. Melissa noticed.

"Danny?! Did you see that?! That ghost kid I heard in the news was here! What was his name? Bill Invisible?" Melissa asks.

Danny mentally cringed at that.

Somehow worse than Inviso-Bill… He thought.

"Actually, Melissa. I believe it's Danny Phantom." Milo corrected her.

"Huh… two Dannys in one day. Convenient." Melissa said with a smile and arms crossed.

"Heh… yeah…" Danny said with a nervous smile. "It's a really common name after all."

''True." Melissa conceded

The two arrived at Milo's house.

"Well, glad I got this back home." He said.

"And I'm glad I got proof we were here before sundown." Melissa said as she took a picture of Milo reaching his door and pressed send.

After a few seconds, a groan of some kind was heard from a distance.

"I'm guessing that's the guy who lost the bet?" Danny asks.

"Bradley? Definitely. He so owes me." Melissa said.

"Well, I'd invite you in, Danny… but I get the feeling whatever odd good luck hit me today won't last long." Milo said.

"Good call…" Danny said.

Plus, not sure if I can keep you from getting hurt in a house…Or can avoid not getting noticed using my powers by your family. He thought.

The two left, with Melissa sticking close to Danny.

"So, by the way… thanks." Melissa said.

Danny paused.

"For… what?" Danny asks.

Does she know that was me? Danny thought, thinking she recognized him as Danny Phantom.

"For helping me with Milo. Most guys don't appreciate girls helping their platonic best buds on a date… much less when they learn what Milo's all about. But you didn't give him grief for something that's not his to control and I definitely award you with massive respect points." She said before, to Danny's surprise, she kissed his cheek.

"Heh… not a problem…" Danny admitted as his face turned red. "So, do a lot of people think you and Milo are a couple? I'm just asking because a lot of people assume my friend Sam and I are dating when we're not."

"Not really, but some of my past dates have thought it. So… let's continue this date by picking up those pudding cups." Melissa insisted.

"Sounds like a plan." Danny agreed.

2 Hours Later

Having finished pudding cups in the park, the two spent their time talking and walking.

"Your town sounds like it has its own Murphy's Law trouble." Melissa said. "A more haunted version of Murphy's law anyway."

"I know... I'm starting to wonder if Milo and I are distant cousins..." Danny admitted.

"Nah, you're too lucky." Melissa said.

With that, the two let out breaths of relief and felt more laid back.

"Not gonna lie, I wasn't too sure we'd hit it off, but I think I can honestly say this was a fun date. Beehives and ghost gorilla monsters aside..." Danny said.

"You weren't attacked by that thing." Melissa pointed out.

Danny's eyes widened.

"Oh uh... I meant in general stuff, not something I specifically went through..." He said with a nervous smile.

Melisa raised an eyebrow suspiciously before shrugging.

"I can't argue there... Plus, I had fun too." She admitted. ''I thought it'd be hard to relate to an older guy but you're really easy to talk to."

''Same. You're the youngest girl I went out with. Most have been my age or older, but I've had a really great time with you." Danny said.

"Likewise…" Melissa said.

That's when Danny's phone went off.

"Oh... I better go." Danny said.

'Now?" Melissa asks, sounding a bit disappointed.

"Sorry, but despite my name, I can't stay in Danville too long. I do need to go home." Danny said.

"Yeah... I guess that's fair. Still though... if you're ever in town... look me up. Considering I'm friends with Milo, follow wherever something is going wrong." Melissa said.

"I'll remember that." Danny said.

"Let me walk you to the bus stop, at least." She said.

"Sure." Danny responded as they walked together.

I'll just find a spot to go ghost once she leaves... He thought.

As they walked away, Bradley watched from afar and grumbled.

"Not only does he want to be friends with Milo, he's winning Melissa's heart. I can't accept this." He said before he tripped back, the beehive from before finally freed from the street cleaner, launched through the air hitting him on the head "MURPHY!" He cried out in anger, thinking Milo was to blame. Because Bradley always blamed Milo.

At the bus stop

The two arrived.

"Take care." Melissa said.

"You too." Danny responded.

Melissa waved to him as she walked away.

"A shame, I think he was the good luck charm we had today. That's another reason I already want to pick him." She said to herself.

As soon as she was gone, he sighed in relief.

"No bus yet... guess that's my cue." He said.

He then hid behind the tree and morphed. He flew into the air and headed for home. Little did he know, someone was watching him.

Someone hiding behind a trash can.

"Hmm... I knew that strange energy I was tracking seemed too mobile. And he's pretty young... Maybe I should have Vanessa take care of zis...But she's doing that teen dating service. Oh, actually… that can work." He said before tripping on some pistachios that Dakota and Cavendish were carrying to safety. "Oh great…" He muttered before noticing someone close by. "Oh, hi Melissa..." He said as his misfortune only continued as bees started to chase after him from out of nowhere.

"Hey Dr. D." Melissa waved, watching him run past. "Danny might not be a distant cousin of Milo but Dr. D definitely is." She said with a smile before heading home.

Special thanks to Flower princess11 and 61394 for this chapter.

So, Melissa wins the vote, here she is. While she's replacing Debbie, she kind of comes off more like a replacement of Angelica, doesn't she?

And yes, you might have figured out who else will be appearing.

Also, this is date 15, we're in the halfway point. I will say this now, as soon as we're at date 20, that's enough for suggestions.

guardian1989: Hope it turns out good.

pokemon fan 1991: Actually never read the web comic. Didn't even know it'd have a motion version.

RonaldM40196867: Dipper. Yes. Not sure. Yes. Dunno. No aging up.

amit . avrashmi: As we see, Danny can easily save them... and tired himself out in the process.

Jebest4781: Thanks for reading.

Luiz4200: Deadpool probably has some dirt on him too.

pzombie: I've already revealed Starfire is a returning character, and only one character per series.

Invader Johnny: Thanks for reading.

djinn: This enough chaos?

cybirddude: 1. Well, I have said that since Barbara wasn't based on a specific version of the character, I'm replacing her with a video game character. As for Felicia, I'm replacing her with another Marvel character (from a WAY beter Marvel cartoon). 2. I have never actually played Ace Attorney, but I am thinking of adding a video game character not from a fighting game. 3. Oh, I'm sure ONE date I have in mind has some toxic relatives... 4. Same here. 5. Maybe, I do want to have a potential villain as a date. 6. Hmm... not sure on Bleach characters to be honest.

NiteOwl18: Recommend watching it.

Menatron the Angel of Ideas: Because having the same voice actor doesn't mean they know each other.

guilhermafinamori: Sorry, but there isn't really a reason to retain so much if I don't change it. Gogo is probably a legal adult since she's in college, so not likely. Also, Deadpool says hi.

tomahawk ESP: Sorry, but I am using another Monster High character in Spectra's place.

61394: Thanks for reading and helping me on this chapter.

Batguy01: Thanks for helping here.

Leonardo: You were right. Also, I'm guessing the writer just didn't want to include her? Or issues with length of the story?
