Aspite, Lizel-senpai and I moved to Miyabi's home. We called Miyabi so she would bring Reina with her. They also got the new magic stone while they were at it. Since I didn't know how quickly we'd have to act after that, I also informed Fleminar and she also showed up to Miyabi's home.

By the way, we decided to do everything there because of the leyline. I didn't know if it would be needed, but I figured it was better to have it and not need it than the other way around.

We were about to try to send Reina's soul to the new magic stone. This was a complete gamble, but I had to have faith.

"So you want me to use my World Revision to send the homunculus' soul to the other magic stone, Yuuto Morioka?"

"Yeah. There shouldn't be any problems with that, right?"

"It's simple enough to make a 'world' with a rule that 'if a homunculus touches a magic stone, their soul is transferred' so there's no problem with that. The effects will still persist even after World Revision is over, so long as it wasn't something created by it."

"Then, let's give it a shot."

I told Aspite and he activated his Characteristic Magic, World Revision. A magic formula made a sphere around him with a diameter of 3 meters.

In that 'world', if Reina touched the magic stone, her soul would be transferred over. Or so everyone believes. The only one who knows for sure is Aspite.

I suppose he could have done something like set it up so that a homunculus who enters that world dies or something, but nothing would happen if I didn't trust Aspite. I'd just have to trust him on this one.

But to be fair, doing something like that now wouldn't be smart on Aspite's part. Between me, Miyabi, Lizel-senpai and Fleminar, there's not much to gain by betraying us here. Actually, with how much people fear the Triumph Candidates, just Fleminar being here and on my side should discourage any foul play.

Reina was a bit hesitant, but she stepped into Aspite's 'world' and… nothing happened. Well, nothing was supposed to happen yet.

It was now my turn to go in. I didn't notice it during our fight, but there is a strange sensation when entering World Revision. It's like… entering a bubble? It's hard to say exactly, but even the air feels a little different.

In any case, it was time to get the show on the road. I was holding the magic stone. Of course, nothing had happened to me, but now I had to give it to Reina.

But I was suddenly hesitant. I mean, what if something went wrong? Maybe we should make some kind of test first?

"Onii-chan."

While I was hesitating, Reina called out to me.

"Reina's going to go to sleep for a while desu. Once Reina wakes up, Reina won't be a Koiwai anymore. Reina will now be Reina Morioka for real desu."

Strangely, it was Reina who gave me courage. There was no point in hesitating and delaying this any longer. Reina was putting her trust in, so everyone else had to do the same.

"… Yeah. I'll be waiting for you, Reina."

I gave the magic stone to Reina. As soon as she touched it, Reina fell over, just like the other times she 'turned off'. I caught both her and the magic stone she ended up dropping.

Her body was cold like that time she had died, but strangely, I felt some warmth coming from the magic stone. Aspite called off his World Revision and the effects stayed. Reina's soul was now in the new magic stone.

Fleminar came over and I handed the magic stone to her. She had told Miyako what she needed and the Yuugaoze servants were working on setting up the underground room for Fleminar.

"In the end, it was so simple to prove homunculus also have a soul…"

Fleminar said under her breath. I don't think she was talking to anyone in particular, so I just let her be. It probably meant a lot to her as well in some way.

Aspite started walking out. I figured I should at least see him off. We only managed to do this because of him.

"Hey, hum, thanks for that, and I'm really sorry about before. I'll also make sure Lizel-senpai apologizes properly."

On our way here, Lizel-senpai properly explained everything that went on. Basically, despite me doing well in our training, Lizel-senpai was still worried, since it looked like we were going to clash with Ibiza soon. That's when Aspite called her, asking to meet me so he could tell me he didn't intend to fight me any longer, so Lizel-senpai saw this as an opportunity.

She pretended to be kidnapped and stirred up Aspite so we'd fight. At the time, I wasn't strong enough to fight another Candidate face to face, I'm still not there to be honest. So that would prompt the Arcana to offer me more power, Infinite Lovers. With that power in hands, fighting Aspite and even Ibiza wasn't impossible.

Though, in the end, it didn't quite go as Lizel-senpai planned. I only unlocked a temporary release of Infinite Lovers against Aspite, and only fully unlocked it against Ibiza himself. So not only was Lizel-senpai the real villain behind everything in that story, it's probable things would have gone better if she hadn't done any of that.

In any case, I felt I should apologize to Aspite. We'd both been tricked, but he still lost more than me, yet he still agreed to help. Maybe he's actually a nice guy.

"Save it, I don't need anything like that. But, if you do want to apologize, there is something you can do for me, Yuuto Morioka."

"W-what?"

"Live, fight, get stronger. I will fight you again at the end of the Devil King War. You'll regret the day you brought the great Aspite Line back into the Devil King War."

"You helped save Reina. I'll never regret that."

"Hmph."

Aspite left. I'm not sure if I gained an ally or an enemy, but in the end, it doesn't look like Aspite is a bad guy.

Now, there wasn't much to do except wait for Fleminar to finish. I suppose I could go home and wait for Miyabi to call me, but I'd rather stay here.

I told that to Miyabi and Miyako and they both agreed. Lizel-senpai also chose to stay, so we were given a tour of the Yuugaoze mansion.

By the time we were done, it was already dark, meaning it was time for dinner. We all sat down together to eat. Even Fleminar showed up, but she didn't stay for long, saying she wanted to get back to work as soon as possible.

As for me, well, I wasn't really used to eating at such a luxurious place, much less with people serving me. I was even made to sit at the head of the table. Isn't this the owner of the house's place? Shouldn't Miyako be here rather than on my side?

"A-are these furniture new?"

I tried making some small talk to get rid of my nervousness. I had noticed things looked a little different from the last time I was here, and they had an air of new to them, so this seemed like a good guess.

"I didn't know Yuuto had 'jii' looked that well last time!"

"You're right, Yuuto. Ibiza and his friends had the house for over a month, so who knows what kind of stuff they did? So I figured I should just burn it all down and buy new things."

S-surely, Miyako was just exaggerating when she said she burned it all. Then again, I did see a suspicious burn mark in the gardens…

Well, let's forget about that. At least it helped me get through dinner easier, I think.

In any case, once dinner was done, it was time for a bath. I got in first, and took my time relaxing and washing off. A lot had happened, so I wanted to use this chance to clear my head as much as I could.

But my plans didn't quite work out, I heard someone coming in. For a second, I thought it might be someone to help me wash myself, but if I know my luck it won't be a man that enters.

"Fufu, I'm here to help Yuuto wash himself~"

Guessed it! It was Miyako, I was expecting Miyabi, but close enough I guess. Needless to say, she was naked and wasn't hiding even a bit of her body. Miyabi and Miyako really looked so much alike that I was reminded of the time at the love hotel.

Miyako put some soap on her breasts and started making bubbles. Was this one of those things where the woman washes the man with her breasts? I was excited to try it, but should I just let Miyako do her thing? I mean, just the other day I became a couple with Lizel-senpai and Miyabi, and then added Reina in. Maybe I'm pushing my luck?

But I ultimately didn't have to decide on anything. That's because Miyabi arrived soon after.

"Yuuto~ you better be ready to get dir- wait, mom?!"

"Oh my~"

"Mm, looks like we all had the same idea."

And then Lizel-senpai arrived. So I see I was going to get ambushed no matter what.

Still, seeing all these beauties naked in front of me… I really was one lucky man.

"This seems like a good chance. I think I'll teach you girls a few things."

"About what?! I'm not doing anything perverted with mom here!"

"... Maybe a few lessons would be good."

The development seems interesting, but I don't want to cause a fight between Miyabi and Miyako. I think it's best if I withdraw for now.

"I-I'm getting off first."

Luckily, I'd already washed myself well enough. The girls seemed a little surprised over me leaving so suddenly, but it should be fine.

I got dressed in the same clothes as before, since I didn't have a change with me. I tried finding something to do to kill time, but it was hard to just snoop around in someone else's home. So I just ended up doing nothing for a while.

"Yuuto, we need to talk."

Before I'd noticed, Lizel-senpai had found me. It's been a while, so the bath was probably over. I'd say I wonder what she wanted to talk about, but I actually have a pretty good idea.

"Is it about the thing with Aspite?"

"Yes, it's in relation to that. The truth is, Yuuto saw an ugly side of me I didn't want to show."

Does she mean the whole plan thing? It's not really pretty, but I also wouldn't call it ugly. But then again, it's Lizel-senpai. I could never call her ugly no matter how I try, but maybe she has a different evaluation for herself.

"I'm sure Yuuto understands why I did what I did, but it's still a fact that I, as a Card, acted behind my master's back, put him in unnecessary danger, and didn't even get results to show for it. I'm willing to accept any punishment Yuuto deems right for me. Only… if Yuuto plans to Release me, I'd like to ask that you wait until there's someone who can do my job as good or better than me."

I'm not sure such a person exists, Lizel-senpai.

But jokes aside, I suppose there is some sense to what Lizel-senpai said. You have to trust the people on your team, and it's hard to trust someone who betrayed you once. Lizel-senpai had good intentions, but she did go behind my back and things could have ended pretty bad.

A little while ago, I would have just let this go. But now I remember what Lizel-senpai said back in the love hotel, to try and get into the Devil King mentality little by little.

"Alright then, I'll tell Lizel-senpai's punishment now… first of all, Lizel-senpai is going to apologize to Aspite properly. And second, except for in emergencies or with good reason, Lizel-senpai can't act on her own anymore, instead, consult with me and everyone else first. Last, if someone that Lizel-senpai thinks can do her job better than Lizel-senpai herself shows up, then Lizel-senpai should work with them to try and achieve even better results."

I think that's pretty good. I put that she should apologize first, which is what I really care about. With my second point, despite the harsh words, I mostly meant that Lizel-senpai can count on us if she's worried about something. And lastly, I'm making it clear that even if someone shows up, I don't intend to let go of Lizel-senpai.

Honestly, I still felt this was kinda pointless, but I got the general idea. Say I was Devil King and someone betrayed me and I just let them go with a "don't do it again" it would be sending a weak message to everyone else.

But at the same time, I don't have to have them executed or anything like that. Cutting off someone's head just because they looked at me wrong also doesn't send a good message. It's about finding a balance between forgiveness and punishing.

"… Fufu, I see. Very well, I understand, my master. … Yuuto's really grown a lot in this short time."

"Have I? I don't really see it."

"You have. There's still points to work out, but I'm sure Yuuto will make a great Devil King."

"Aah, t-thanks?"

I didn't really know how to react to that, but I felt happy. I still don't know why I insist on being Devil King so much, or why part of my memory seems to be missing. But I'm glad to know I'm making progress.

Anyway, with that done, I just wasted time until it was time to go to sleep. I thought about staying up late, but Fleminar said she'd be done early in the morning, so there wasn't much point in me waiting the whole night.

Lizel-senpai would sleep with Miyabi in her room, but where should I go? I'm sure there's a lot of guest rooms, so I'll ask Miyako for one.

"Yuuto can come with me. I'll bring you to your room."

I followed behind Miyako. The room she let me into was quite beautiful. A rich person's guest room really is something else.

Since I didn't bring any change of clothes, I figured I'd just sleep in my underwear. Just as I finished taking off my clothes and setting them aside nicely, I heard the door open.

"Oh my, I see Yuuto's also ready~"

It was Miyako, and she had also changed her clothes. She now wore only an almost transparent pink nightgown. I could even see her nipples and panties under that!

I'm pretty sure I heard the door lock behind Miyako, and she was licking her lips and looking at me like a predator that just found her prey.

L-let's not comment on what happened after that. Let's skip straight to the next day. I promise nothing interesting happened there!

Once Fleminar had finished with Reina's new body and the new core had already been installed, she called out to us. All that was left now was for us to see Reina.

"Now then, allow me to introduce to everyone, Reina Morioka."

"I-it's Reina desu."

Reina… didn't look the least bit different from before. But that was fine. I could see her previous body to the side there, so this meant everything had gone fine.

"She won't have any of the problems she'd been having before, so you can all rest easy now. But she probably needs some time to get used to the new body, so no extreme efforts like fighting for now. Other than that, everything's good."

"Reina feels really well desu."

We all tried asking Reina some simple questions, just to make sure everything was fine, and there were no problems. Really, talk about a weight off our minds.

Now, all we had to do was decide what to do with Reina's previous body. We couldn't really keep it stored away as a reserve.

In the end, it was Reina who decided to cremate her previous body. We did things as if it was a funeral.

"Thank you for allowing Reina to live desu. Reina's now going to start living her own life, but Reina will never forget you. Also, if Reina can, Reina will help take care of our little sister desu."

… I guess Reina was saying goodbye to Reina Koiwai. It looked strange to me, but maybe it had a deep meaning for her.

Once that was finished, Miyako gave us a jar to put the ashes in. Reina wanted to take it home, which is where we're headed now. Lizel-senpai went to her home in her car, but Reina and I wanted to walk. Fleminar came with us part of the way.

"I guess this is it for me. I'll be seeing you around, Reina-chan, Morioka-kun."

"Thank you for helping Reina so much desu."

"Yes. Thank you very much, Fleminar."

"There's no need for thanks, I was just helping out someone in need. Then, until we meet again."

And so we parted ways with Fleminar. Not long after, we reached our home and told mom and dad everything that had happened, and that Reina was now fine.

Of course, they were quite happy to hear that. Mom made a feast in celebration and dad said that, tomorrow, we'd go shopping to buy everything Reina needs now that she's staying with us for good.
