A.N. — Today is the birthday for one of my favorite characters, a villain who's more popular than a lot of heroes. It's not because of her canon depiction (though her quirk awakening was a top-tier moment and she's apparently the only confirmed bisexual person in the series), but because fanon has elevated her so far. And with chapter 395 of the manga having such an impact on her recently, this drabble really falls at a perfect time. Happy birthday, Himiko Toga!
219. Himiko Toga
Himiko has had precious little love directed her way, but she imagines that inhabiting someone else's skin must be like what loving someone unequivocally feels like from within. Valuing such a saccharine sentiment seemed incongruous for a girl who didn't feel right unless a bite of pain or the thrill of danger or colored her every interaction. But Toga savored the sweet sting of her diametrically opposed interests intersecting.
Bubbly but sadistic, though, was a tenuous tightrope to walk, and Toga swayed with her whims. Blood was the channel through which her love flowed, and she'd gladly follow its pull.
