A.N. — The last female character I wrote for was all the way back on August 24. The sad truth is, there aren't many left for me to choose from for these empty dates. There's a girl power trio of birthdays coming up soon, but for now, here is some representation for the fairer sex.
248. Queen Beam
Queen Beam already had her future hero name picked out: The Cupid Hero, Lovestruck. But because she liked using her heart-shaped laser beam indiscriminately, she found herself stuck in a class of troublemakers rather than following a more traditional origin arc.
It wasn't her fault that thinking of love made her quirk build up a pressure behind her forehead that didn't abate until she released it. Anyone that could withstand her concentrated blasts of pent-up romantic longing were true of heart and pure of soul. Queen Beam would escape Masegaki Elementary's taint by following her quirk's guiding light.
A.N. 2 — This character is another case of their quirk defaulting to their name. Queen Beam is shorter than what the Ultra Analysis book calls her: Girl Who Decided That Utsushimi is Her Enemy.
