A.N. — After a day's break, we're back on the birthday carousel. Today's celebrant is honestly someone I haven't heard of, because they're from Vigilantes and I still only am scratching the surface of that manga. So I made this a speculative character study, with nothing to do with any plot lines. Anyway, happy birthday to Compass Kid!

256. Hokuto Hario/Compass Kid

For a hero whose quirk was basically a souped-up wind vane or set of dowsing rods, Compass Kid sure made the most of it.

Hokuto had gotten very flexible by contorting his limbs toward distant targets so often. Pumping iron or other traditional cardio exercises were favored by big-time pros, but Hokuto found dance and yoga benefitted him more. Both disciplines helped keep him centered rather than spun out. They also buoyed his already cheery spirits.

The low-tier assignments Compass Kid received would irritate others, but Hokuto thrived in helping everyday people and making his family proud.
