A loud metallic clang echoed throughout Sankakuzu as everything seemed to stop. The Sailor Guardians and Tuxedo Mask looked up and saw a sight that made them shocked. Even Sailor Saturn's eyes went slightly wider in surprise, for right when she was about to swing her Silence Glaive, Solaris suddenly appeared and blocked it with his broken Nebula Blade.

"Solaris!" Sailors Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus cried.

"I don't believe it!" Sailor Pluto spoke in disbelief. "He stopped Sailor Saturn?!"

"Even with his broken sword, and through all this chaos, Solaris managed to intercept her Silence Glaive!" Tuxedo Mask spoke in a mixture of bewilderment and disbelief.

Solaris grunted as he used whatever strength he had left to halt the Silent Glaive, his arms trembling and his broken sword creaking. "Sailor Saturn! Lower your weapon! You have to stop!"

Sailor Saturn stared. "What is the meaning of this, Solais?" she spoke. "For what reason do you stand in my way?"

"Because I can't let you destroy Earth!" Solaris replied. "If you do, then everyone will die, including you!"

"And why should it matter? " Sailor Saturn answered. "That is what I intend to do. Swinging my Silence Glaive is the only way for this crisis to end."

"No! I won't let you do that!" Solaris objected as he pushed his blade against the Silence Glaive. "You can't destroy Earth! You just can't! Please stop this and reconsider!"

"And why would I need to?" Sailor Saturn countered, her eyes narrowing in a cold glare. "Pharoh 90 has engulfed the entire planet rendering the Earth far beyond repair. There's little hope to saving this world."

She then pushed her weapon back against Solaris's broken weapon, which made it creak even more as it cracked slightly, which made the others worry.

"Solaris! You have to get out of there!" cried Sailor Pluto.

"If you don't, you'll die!" yelled Sailor Neptune.

But the guardian of the Sun remained defiant while standing his ground. "Even so, that's no reason to give up on it!" Solaris shouted at Sailor Saturn. "We can still save Earth if you just give us a chance!"

"But there is no chance," said Sailor Saturn. "To stop the catastrophe from spreading any further, I must see my duty through, no matter the cost. And I can't do that with you in the way, so I'll have to ask you to move. Now."

"I refuse!" Solaris yelled. "I won't move until you stand down! Not until you lower your weapon!"

Sailor Saturn pushed her Silence Glaive even more against Solaris's blade, causing it to dig deeper into it as it started to crumble, much to the Sailor Guardians' horror.

"This isn't good! At this rate, his sword's going to get cut through!" cried Sailor Mercury. "And I'm not sure how long he can keep it up!"

"Solaris! You have to move!" yelled Sailor Mars. "Get out of there before you get hurt!"

But again, Solaris refused to move as he resisted with all his might as his blade cracked even more while creaking ominously.

"Is he trying to get himself killed?!" Sailor Uranus spoke with vexation. "If he keeps this up, Sailor Saturn won't hesitate to kill him!"

Sailor Chibi Moon was worried, too. But all she and Tuxedo Mask could do was watch from the sidelines, unsure on whether to intervene and too afraid.

"Tell me, Solaris. Why do you persist in stopping me?" asked Sailor Saturn. "Is it because you refuse to accept the reality of the situation? Or is it because you're afraid to die? No, knowing you, it's most likely out of duty to protect the Earth. I, too, have a duty that I must fulfill. A duty that I must carry out no matter the cost. So, while you're certainly are brave to block me with that broken sword, you can't possibly hope to stop me."

Her Silence Glaive pressed even more against Solaris's broken blade, slowly slicing deeper into it on the brink of going through it as Solaris began to falter.

"Even so, this isn't right!" Solaris spoke, struggling as he did. "Even though things look bad right now, there has to be another way to end things besides this!"

"And what way is that?" asked Sailor Saturn. "The others can't even muster up the strength to fight due to expending their energy. You are almost out of strength and armed with nothing but a broken sword. And to add to that, Sailor Moon is no longer with us. Any chance of victory you have is slim to none-"

"Sailor Moon is not dead!" Solaris suddenly burst out. "She's still alive!"

The outburst surprised the Inner Guardians, Tuxedo Mask, and Sailor Chibi Moon, while Sailors Uranus and Neptune looked away in pity, believing him to be in a state of denial.

"And how do you know that? It seems to me that you have false hopes," said Sailor Saturn. "You saw Sailor Moon enter Pharoh 90's body, and she has yet to resurface even after what I did to him, which leads me to assume that she has perished."

"It's because I know, and it's not from denial either!" Solaris snarled fiercely. "You're right about one thing, I have faith and hope that she's alive, but I also have proof that she still is!"

Sailor Saturn rose her brow. "Is that a fact? Then enlighten me. How do you know?"

Solaris paused as he grunted and struggled before responding. "It's because... Sailor Chibi Moon is still with us!" he said. "And that's your proof!"

Everyone was unbelievably puzzled.

"Wait, me?" Sailor Chibi Moon spoke.

"What in the world is he talking about?" wondered Tuxedo Mask.

"You're not making any sense," said Sailor Saturn, her eyes narrowing. "What does Sailor Chibi Moon have to do with this?"

"For someone... as prerogative as you are, I would have thought you would know already!" grunted Solaris. "If Sailor Moon were truly dead... then Sailor Chibi Moon wouldn't be here! She wouldn't exist!"

It was then that everyone else realized it, too, even Sailor Saturn.

"I may not be an expert like you or Pluto when it comes to timelines and how much you know or seen Sailor Saturn, but even I know that if anything happens in the present, it'll affect the future!" Solaris continued. "In this case, since Sailor Chibi Moon is from the future, if Sailor Moon has truly died, then she wouldn't exist anymore! That's why I know that Sailor Moon is alive! That's why I can't let you end things like this! I refuse to!"

As Solaris stood his ground, the destructive power radiating from Sailor Saturn's Silence Glaive started to damage his armor, and his sword was close to the brink of being sliced as it creaked even louder.

"Solaris, that's enough! You have to stop!" Tuxedo Mask yelled. "There's no way you can stop her! You're completely out of energy, and your sword's about to give!"

Then, Solaris started to push Sailor Saturn's Silence Glaive back. "No, I'm not! I may be running low, but I still got power left!" he roared. "If I run out of power today, then I'll take some from tomorrow! I, too, have a duty, and that's to protect the Solar System! That includes Earth, its people, and most of all, my friends and family! So, no matter what, until Sailor Moon wakes up, I will protect this planet, and I won't let you destroy it! I am the guardian of the Sun, and no matter what it takes, I'll keep fighting to protect Earth and the people who live on it! So, don't even think of underestimating me!"

A soft glow began to radiate throughout his body as he pushed back more until he finally pushed the Silence Glaive away with a mighty heave, much to the bewilderment of everyone who saw, even Sailor Saturn. Solaris then looked down to where Pharoh 90.

"Hey! Sailor Moon! I don't know if you can hear me, but you need to wake up!" he yelled at the top of his lungs. "This isn't the time for you to be sleeping on the job! Can't you see that everyone needs your help?! If you don't wake up, either Pharoh 90 will take over Earth, or Sailor Saturn will destroy it! You and I both know we can't let either of those things happen, so stop messing around already!"

At that moment, Sailor Chibi Moon pulled away from Tuxedo Mask, got close to the edge from where they stood, and started yelling too. "He's right! Come on, Usagi! Quit napping around and wake up! Are you going to let Uncle Sunny fight on his own when he's weak and tired?! Everyone needs you! I need you! And besides, what would Hotaru say if you let things end like this?! Her sacrifice would have been for nothing! So, come on!"

"HURRY AND WAKE UP! SAILOR MOON!" Solaris and Sailor Chibi Moon screamed at the top of their lungs.

At that moment, a twinkle of light came from the center of the dark ocean. Pharoh 90 began to roar in agony as that light grew brighter, and his body began to froth and churn as it turned to a lighter shade of black. The light continued to shine as it ascended to the skies, bathing everyone in its glow. Everyone wondered what the light was, but then, Solaris smiled as a joyful tear trickled down his cheek.

"It's about time," he said as he wiped it away. "That girl always did have a nasty habit of coming through in clutch situations like this."

The light then began to descend, and sure enough, as it did, everyone could see that inside of it was Super Sailor Moon, whose brooch was the source of all the light. Everyone couldn't help but be overjoyed to see her. It was then that the Inner Guardians and the Outer Guardians all went under an evolution. Their costumes remained the same, except the trails of all of their back bows were longer, their chokers gained stars in their fronts, and their shoulder pads became transparent and wing-like.

"Our costumes...!" Sailor Venus gasped.

"They all changed!" Sailor Uranus murmured.

It wasn't long before Super Sailor Moon touched down on a stone pillar. She looked around her surroundings, surprised at the damage and destruction.

"Wh-What happened here?" she wondered. "How did I...?"

Then, a geyser erupted from below as Pharoh 90 roared, his eyes gleaming inside it. "So, that was her plan! She used her power to harm my body from the inside!" he said to himself. "But all that did was delay the inevitable! You haven't defeated me yet!"

As the evil creature roared, Solaris stood his ground as the wind whipped about as he tried his best to stay afloat.

"Super Sailor Moon may have managed to get some damage, but Pharoh 90's still got some energy left to fight! I have to do something! But what can I do?" he thought as he looked at his broken blade. "I've already reached my limit! I feel so weak that I can barely stay up in the air! Not to mention that me blocking Sailor Saturn's Silence Glaive made things worse. While I took her Silence Glaive earlier, all of that destructive power and strength messed me up pretty badly. Is this all I've got? Am I that weak?"

He clenched the handle of his shattered sword in frustration as his bravery began to fumble while being replaced with doubt and self-loathing. But then, he remembered Hotaru and all the times he interacted with her, as well as the last time he saw her before she died. Immediately, the doubt in his mind began to clear.

"No! Don't talk like that! You can't afford to give up now! Stop thinking about the worst-case scenario!" he told himself. "You need to get stronger! You need to get better! More than you've ever been before! It's the only way that you'll be able to protect everyone! Steel your resolve, shatter your limit, and use whatever energy you got left to fight him! You can do this, Harusuke! You can do it!"

The soft glow radiating around his body grew more intense as he let out a mighty yell, signaling that he was ready to fight, which didn't go unnoticed by Pharoh 90 nor the other Guardians.

"Incredible!" murmured Sailor Neptune. "Even in his current condition, he still has the willpower to fight!"

"But he's severely weakened!" Sailor Mars spoke worriedly. "Using Unison Fusion four times was tiring enough, but pushing back Sailor Saturn's wiped him out! He looks like he's about to faint any second!"

Pharoh 90's eyes appeared in the geyser, their gaze fixed solely on Solaris. "So, you still have the strength to fight. But your energy is also weak," he boomed. "Even with my current state, do you honestly think that you can fight in your condition, boy?"

"I won't know unless I try!" barked Solaris as he hovered closer while taking a stance. "I've made it this far, so I know I've got what it takes! No matter what, I'll keep fighting, no matter what!"

Pharoh 90's eyes narrowed in a leer. "Very well then! If you wish to die that badly, then I'll personally send you to hell!" he snarled. "I'll wipe your existence off the face of this planet, just like Mistress 9 did to that weakling girl!"

The moment he said those words, something snapped deep within Solaris' causing his silver eyes to fill with rage.

"Let's get one thing straight, you blob of tar! That girl is not weak!" he snapped fiercely. "She's far stronger than you could ever hope to be! Even though she was frail and wasn't like other people, she had a kind heart, cared more about the people she loved than herself, and even sacrificed herself to save Chibi Moon and me! I'm not about to let you insult her, not in front of me!"

At that moment, the aura surrounding his body intensified in response to his rage.

"What's going on here?!" Sailor Uranus spoke in amazement. "His energy's rising!"

As his aura grew, the Inner Guardians all felt their hearts palpitate for a split second, sensing that something was happening.

"Did anyone else feel that?" asked Sailor Venus.

"Yeah. It felt like my heart just skipped a beat just now," said Sailor Mercury. "What was that?"

Then, their bodies began to radiate with light, each taking their respective colors, much to their surprise, and the Outer Guardians.

"Wh-What's going on?!" exclaimed Sailor Jupiter as she looked at herself.

"I don't know!" said Sailor Mars. "But, for some reason, this feels familiar!"

Super Sailor Moon also started glowing, her body radiating in white light. "I recognize this!" she thought. "This was just like when I gave my power to Solaris to use his Unison Fusion! But it feels stronger! Way stronger!"

Then, their brooches began to shine in response to their auras, and each of them shot out a beam that went straight towards Solaris and connected to his body. His aura then changed into the colors of a rainbow growing brighter, as his symbol appeared in the middle of his forehead.

"And there's something else you ought to know, you monster! That girl who you're calling weak had a name!" The Guardian of the Sun yelled as his eyes shone in bright silver. "AND HER NAME IS... HOTARU TOMOE!"

Transformation Sequence: Solaris

Five colored lights shoot out, red, yellow, green, blue, and white, representing the Sailor Guardians. The lights all swirled around Solaris as the boy looked at them in amazement. Then, all of the lights enter right in the center of his chest. A surge of power shoots through his body, causing his body to explode in a silver aura. At the same time, a magic circle appears above him, which bore a resemblance to his symbol but has the five lights and a crescent moon in the middle. The Guardian of the Sun flies up towards the circle, and as he does, various parts of his armor change, becoming slimmer and shinier while turning silver in several bursts of light. First his legs, then his left arm, his right arm, and as his chest changes, a pair of white wings sprout forth from his back, spreading wide. Finally, his helmet changed in design and color, turning silver, and covered his face completely, now with a faceplate and a pair of tinted lenses. Solaris explodes out from the magic circle now in his new form, in a brilliant flash of rainbow light. As he stands on top of it, he crosses his arms and throws them out, fists clenched and striking a standard power-up pose as his, Sailor Moon's, and the Inner Guardians symbols appear clashing into one and creating a colorful explosion.

"What the...! What form is that one?!" exclaimed Sailor Mars.

"No clue," said Sailor Jupiter. "Your guess is as good as mine."

"His armor. It's turned completely silver," murmured Sailor Neptune. "Is this another Unison Fusion form?"

"No, this feels different than the others," said Sailor Venus. "It's just like when Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon transformed into their super forms."

"That form... The power radiating from his body...," murmured Sailor Uranus. "Could it be... that Solaris has awakened as the Messiah?"

"Sailor Chibi Moon. Do you have any idea what that form is?" Tuxedo Mask asked the pink ordango.

"No, I don't," said Sailor Chibi Moon. "This is the first time I've seen anything like this."

Super Sailor Moon couldn't help but stare too. "No way. Is that - is that really Solaris?" she wondered in awe.

Pharoh 90 growled as his glaring red eyes squinted. "What the hell is this light?!" he hissed in agony. "It's even more repulsive than the last one!"

While standing on the roof of a building far away, Specter stood there, their eyes fixed solely on a rainbow-colored glow where the battle was.

"It would seem that you've finally unlocked your power, Solaris," Specter said with a smile while tipping their hat up. "Now, let's see if you can do some damage with it."

The newly transformed Solaris looked down at him, his lenses shining. "Pharoh 90! You've been the cause of so much pain and suffering of Earth!" he spoke. "Your greed to conquer has resulted in millions of lives lost, and most notably, albeit indirectly, you were responsible for the loss of a courageous soul of which you dared to insult! For your actions, I shall see to it that you pay with your life!"

He held his sword in front of him with two hands, keeping it upright with the blade between his eyes as he closed them.

"Now, my Astral Light Nimbus Blade! I awaken thee!" he commanded. "Respond to my power, and show your true form!"

The broken blade then shone as its edge cracked and crumbled, and in its place, a new blade emerged, a few inches longer than the last, and was also shining in rainbow light. Solaris held his revitalized sword up high, his hands gripping it tight while stabbing the air as its light and energy grew even more powerful. Pharoh 90, knowing that he was about to make an attack, sent tendrils of his body at the boy to try and stop him, but it was already too late.

"Now, Pharoh 90! For your sins, this blade shall be your end!" the guardian of the Sun shouted. "SOLARIS RAINBOW EXCALIBUR! ! !"

Solari unleashed a powerful wave of light that sliced straight through Pharoh 90's body and right in between his eyes with a mighty swing of his blade. When it made contact, a giant explosion of rainbow light ripped through the area forcing everyone to shield their eyes while Pharoh 90 howled in pain and agony as the blinding light swallowed him.

After a few seconds, the light dimmed down, and everyone looked down to see the aftermath of the assault. The black ocean had now taken a bright shade of gray and had gone down in level as Solaris stayed hovering over it.

"Did... did he do it?" asked Sailor Jupiter. "Did he win?"

"No. Not yet," said Sailor Pluto. "Look."

Sure enough, the grey mass started to stir as Pharoh 90's eyes reappeared in them. However, the eyes once filled with greed and confidence were now filled with terror and pain. It was then that a geyser erupted from the sea of gray, taking the shape of a hand that desperately tried to reach toward the portal which led to the Tau Star System.

"No! Please! I can't - die here!" Pharoh 90 wheezed. "At least... let me die in my homeland of death, the graveyard of gravity, the Tau Star System!"

Sailor Saturn, who had been watching throughout, smiled at this sight, reveling in the dark being's pain. "How beautiful, the deep agony at the moment of destruction," she murmured. Then, she sprang into the air joining Pharoh 90 to make for his exit. "The end is near for you, Pharoh 90!" she called out. "As the Guardian of Silence, I, Sailor Saturn, will lead you to a world of silence and emptiness!"

As Sailor Saturn flew up higher with Pharoh 90, Sailor Pluto quickly realized something that made her gasp.

"At the rate that she's going, she's going to get sucked into that portal with him!" she exclaimed.

"Sailor Saturn, stop!" cried Solaris as he tried to chase after her. "What are you doing?!"

But then, a wave of vertigo struck Solaris like a truck, causing him to briefly lose consciousness, revert to normal and start falling towards the city below. Luckily, Super Sailor Moon was quick to act by jumping off her pillar while flying quickly and managed to catch her brother in the nick of time while carrying him to safety. However, she still was concerned about Sailor Saturn.

"Saturn!" the ordango guardian cried out. "Come back!"

The Guardian of Destruction looked down in her direction and smiled. "Please, do not despair for me," she said kindly. "With every end comes a new beginning filled with hope and rebirth. And the one to bring it forth is you, Super Sailor Moon. Because of you releasing the powers of the Moon Chalise and the Legendary Silver Crystal, and because of your brother's bravery, the planet has hope."

"It can? Really?" said Super Sailor Moon.

"I am the Guardian who brings death and destruction, but it is only to create rebirth," continued Sailor Saturn. "This chosen land is where the future Silver Milenum will rise, and its sacred power is your ally."

She looked across to Solaris, who was barely managing to stay conscious.

"Solaris, I was moved by your courage and your words. And that form you took was beautiful," she added. "Seeing your shining silver armor reminded me of the Silver Millenium at its prime. And so, from this day forward, that form shall be known as the Silver Paladin."

"H-Hotaru," Solaris rasped as he reached out his hand to try and stop her but lost his strength at the attempt and passed out.

Sailor Saturn then called out the Guardian of Time as they grew closer to the portal. "Sailor Pluto! Close this portal to the other world, now! It mustn't exist!"

"But Sailor Saturn! If I do that then...!" Sailor Pluto began to protest.

"Hurry!" urged Sailor Saturn. "Do it now!"

Sailor Pluto hesitated, but she knew that this was the only chance they had to end this battle. She spun her staff a few times and slammed the bottom on the concrete roof where she stood as she got on one knee.

"O Guardian God of Space and Time! Our Great Father Chronos, grant me power! Shut this open wrenched door forever! DARK DOME CLOSE!"

Her Garnet Orb began to shine brightly, and the Doors of Space-Time appeared in front of the portal opening wide. As they did, they began to suck Pharoh 90 into them like a vacuum as Sailor Saturn led him through them and into the portal.

"Sailor Saturn! Don't go!" Sailor Chibi Moon yelled as tears began to fall and memories of her and Hotaru went through her mind. "Hotaru!"

Sailor Saturn looked back to the little guardian and gave one last smile while saying a silent goodbye. Everyone watched as she, along with Pharoh 90, disappeared beyond the doors as they shut with a mighty bang before fading from existence along with the portal.

Sailor Chibi Moon was devastated as she started to cry, and Super Sailor Moon couldn't help but shed a few tears, too. After that, all was silent. Then something came floating down from above where the portal once was, catching her attention as it came toward her, eventually stopping in front of her. It was a small purple energy-like sphere. At first, Super Sailor Moon didn't know what this was, but then, she suddenly remembered Sailor Saturn's words before her departure.

"With every end comes a new beginning filled with hope and rebirth. And the one to bring it forth is you, Super Sailor Moon."

Super Sailor Moon then gently set Solaris down. Then, she held the purple sphere in her hands and took it into herself. Then, in a burst of pink light, her costume changed into a flowing white gown to the amazement of the others.

"It's... Neo Queen Serenity!" gasped Sailor Venus.

The queen held her hand, summoning forth the Spiral Heart Moon Rod into it, which extended in size and transformed into a staff. Its gem started shining brightly in a warm white glow releasing a powerful magic wave. As it washed over the city, the magic reversed all the destruction and damage and revived its people.

As everyone stared at the woman from afar, Tuxedo Mask recalled the visions he saw in his sleep, remembering the woman he saw standing on top of a pillar amongst the destruction. It was then that a relieved smile spread on his face.

"Now I understand." the masked man thought. "The messiah... and the person that I saw in my dreams! It was you...! Serenity!"

As everyone finally relaxed, the battle being over, the Sun started to peek over the horizon, its warm rays shining above all. But then, the sound of a baby crying came from the ruins of Sankakuzu.

The Outer Guardians jumped down to investigate, and sure enough, lying on the ground wrapped in a white cloth was a baby girl. She had purple violet hair with eyes matching in color and the symbol of Saturn glowing in the middle of her forehead, allowing the three to recognize her.

"Is that Hotaru?" said Sailor Neptune.

"She's... been reincarnated," murmured Sailor Uranus.

Sailor Neptune then took the baby Hotaru into her arms, gently rocking her in comfort. The baby stopped crying while looking up at her and smiled, cooing happily.

Sailor Neptune then looked up at Uranus and Pluto. "Since this little one is all alone, why don't we raise her? The three of us will be her parents."

"Agreed," Sailor Uranus and Pluto agreed with smiles.

The three Outer Guardians then walked away, taking Hotaru with them.

Super Sailor Moon, having just reverted, noticed them leaving and called out to them. "Uranus! Neptune! Pluto!"

But then, a gentle gust of wind blew across the area, kicking up some dust obscuring her vision. Super Sailor Moon jumped down from her pillar to try and stop them, but she found that the Outer Guardians, along with the infant Hotaru, had already disappeared.
