Carol said Ander I put the Chips in Both dolls it is a Shame that Kathy never came back for the dolls.

"I know Andre said.

" i did update Baby Annie with the Yellow shirt that has a wire built into the back of it connecting it to the Pink overalls. Also the Polly locket will talk in code if Riley is taking it somewhere. but Baby Annie also has a special cry that she will do along with beeping sound. If that happens Riley just has to open Baby Annie tummy and it have a will tracking screen. Carol said

Andre said Oh this is awesome I can't wait to tell my cousins.

Carol said, Hold on Andre, you must not tell Riley or Madeline anything. They will be Regular Dolls.

"Aw That's no fun." Andre said

James said I know but we can't let Kathy know about that. Also Remember Ander no Soccer for one full week

Ander said but Dad, I love soccer, you know I'm the best player on our team.

Carole said "Ander we need you to do this. We can't let Kathy know we are sending you to Paris' ' Because if she does, she might do something more awful. now me and your dad will be fix up the farm House'' you get started on the letter alright

Ander said alright Mom and dad

James said good I will send for you once we are done with the farm house

Riley Madeline and the Soccer Star

Narrator.. In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines, thirteen little girls lived. in two straighter lines. The oldest one was Riley, and the smallest one was Madeline. They left the house at half past nine, off to play Soccer in two straight lines, while Miss Clavel tended the vines.

The girls waved to their teacher, who was working in her vegetable garden.

Miss Clavel said play well, Mes Cheries. I am sorry I cannot go with you. I must take care of my vegetable garden.

girls said Au revoir, Miss Clavel. Good bye.

Chole said good luck with your cabbages and onions.

(Girls, ohh ohh la la)

While walking, the girls stopped next door so Steven and Pepito could walk with them to the soccer field as well.

Riley said, Hello Steven.

Steven said Hole

All the girls, bonjour

Pepito said Hola Madeline.

Narrator: Their soccer team was called Les Tigers; it was one of the best in the all-school league. They practiced each day from morning till dark, and Pepito' and Steven's father, who was their coach, led them to the park along with a few other children from the neighborhood who rode bikes.

When they reached the park, Riley said, Come, Steven, let us plan our strategy.

Steven said I hear we are Playing Les Rois the Kings in the championship. Our father says that they have become very strong.

Madeline said, Do not worry, we Tigers have beaten them twice.

Pepito and Steven nodded and said yes, but they have beaten us twice.

Riley said, Do not worry, Steven, three will be our magic number.

(Kids yay! yippee)

(Girls Laughing)

Dan watched the team run up and down the field. Hmmm," Dan said.

Narrator: All of the Les Tigre could kick and throw far, but the oldest team player was their biggest star.

Steven said Bien. Here it comes, Riley. Steven then kicked the ball to Riley.

Riley kicked the ball as hard as she could, and when she kicked it, she landed on her back.

Chole ran up and helped Riley up. "Are you alright, Riley?"

Oui," Riley said with a smile.

Narrator.. Les Tigre played soccer with speed and might, but something was missing; something was not right.

Dan thought to himself as he watched Nona slip and fall. If they only had a secret weapon like the perfect pass I had in my youth or maybe a great kick,

Narrator: They practiced and practiced till they got each play right; they were still in the park by the hours of Twilight.

The girls walked back from the park, all tired and hungry.

(Girls Chatting)

All the girls said goodbye.

All the boys said, See you tomorrow.

Narrator: When the girls reached the old house, they all ran up to Miss Clavel so they could let her know how their practice was. Miss Clavel Howeven had no cheer because her garden was quite a disaster this year.

Madeline said Miss Clavel, are you alright?

Miss Clavel sighed sadly and said, "Oui, me cherie, but look at my garden.

Narrator: What could they say about the vegetable she'd grown? The cabbages were rotten, which made the girls moan.

(Moaning) Ohh oh

Right then and there, the 13 girls made up their minds that they didn't like vegetables anymore.

Riley said it is alright, Miss Clavel, we do not like vegetables anyway.

"That is right, we do not like vegetables. Nicole and Chole both said it simultaneously.

Miss Clavel said, But it is not true; you usually love them, and besides, they are good for you.

"Madeline said it was true, but the taste is horrible.

Miss Clavel sighed as she took off her gloves and put them in the front pocket of her gardening outfit.

Narrator.. then suddenly Miss Clavel felt very much better; she remembered the arrival of an important letter.

Miss Clavel said: Madeline Riley I almost forgot I had something for you.

Madeline and Riley gasped. It was always exciting when the girls received mail.

"Oh." All the girls said

Miss Clavel handed the letter to Madeline.

"What does it say Madeline?" Chloe asked with glee.

Miss Clavel said, Why don't you read it inside where there is better light?

Inside the old house

Nicole said, "Hurry, Madeline?

Dainelle said who it was from.

all the girls we want to see?

Madeline said it was from our cousin André. He lives on a farm. Madeline then handed the letter to her sister. Riley, you are better at Reading André's Handwriting.

Riley chuckled and said alright Maddie. Our farm house is very old, so Papa is fixing it. After reading the rest of the letter, Riley and Madeline looked at Miss Clavel with excitement in their eyes.

Ander asked if he could stay with us while they were working on his house. Madeline said

Miss Clavel scanned the letter, and with a nod, the teacher said If he wants to come next week, we'd better get ready. Starting with you girls getting changed out of your soccer uniforms.

The 13 girls nodded and started to walk upstairs.

Chole said, What is your cousin like, like Madeline and Riley?

Madeline said we last saw him when I and Riley were three; he was very handsome then.

Riley said Oui, remember that kick game he taught us?

Madeline said' "yes. I think that's why you're so good when you score goals, sis."

Aw, thanks, Maddie. Riley said he was giving Madeline a hug.

Narrator: That evening, all through dinner, they talked about Cousin André; everyone had a little something to say.

Dainelle said, "he must be very strong if he works on a farm."

Chole said and was tall

Nicole said he must ride a fancy-looking horse.

Chole said and wear very fine clothing.

Dainelle said yes with silk scarves and a diamond stickpin.

Even Miss Clavel had something to say. I bet he will be a big help with my garden.

Narrator.. then in two straight lines, they broke their bread.

Together, we love what we love about our bottle, but most of all, we love each other.

Narrator... and brushed their teeth and wanted to go to bed, and by that time they were convinced that Madeline and Riley's cousin was a prince.

(yawing)

Chole Yaw, do you think he has good teeth?

Nicole Yaw Maise Ouie, and I am sure he's a fabulous dancer.

Dainelle said, and he will ask every one of us to dance.

Madeline and Riley looked at each other and chuckled.

Narrator: Late that night, the girls fell asleep with visions of Andre instead of white sheep. Then next week came the dawn of that exciting day when who would arrive but the gallant André? After breakfast, the girls arrived at half past eight and then began to wait and wait and wait at the gate.

Dainelle said, Where is he?

Chole said He should have been here long ago.

Madeline looked at her friend with a sigh.

Madeline said, "It must take a long time from where she is coming from.

Miss Clavel said, Be patient, Mes Enfants.

Madeline said Shh, I think I hear something.

Oui, Maddie is right. it sounds like a horse. Riley said.

Narrator. They ran down the street and followed that sound, but Andre wasn't there; he just couldn't be found. There was just an old nag who'd seen better days hitched to a wagon all loaded with hay and a top. Not a prince with a crown, just a scared-looking boy from a small country town.

Chole said angrily, Why did he have to be so late? We've been waiting for hours.

"Calm down, Chole. Riley said.

Andre pulled the wagon to a stop and said, "Pardon, is this Mademoiselle Madeline's and Riley's house?

Riley said, Ander!

Andre jumped down and gave his cousins, whom he hadn't seen in years, a big, tight hug. After the hug, André gave both girls two of the same flowers.

Ander said Riley and Madeline, These are for you two.

Madeline and Riley blushed and gave their cousin a kiss on the cheek.

Andre blushed as well.

That evening, after dinner, Madeline and Riley showed their cousin to the guest room. Where he would be staying.

Narrator. Andre unpacked a clean shirt and some socks, a very old jacket, and his two favorite rocks. Riley and Madeline laughed as André told stories about his papa.

Andre then said, Girls, I have something for both of you. Andre handed the twins two small, wrapped boxes. Go on, open it.

Riley opened hers and gasped. Her eyes misted over as she said, Polly Lock, you are Back with Mama at last. Riley gave the doll a hug.

Madeline then opened hers and also gasped and said, "Where have you been?" Thank you, Ander, for bringing Baby Annie Back to me. "I've not seen this doll in a long time.

Narrator. But upstairs in the bedroom, the girls were more picky; they frankly thought Andre was rather icky.

Nicole laughed. He is so small.

Danielle looked thoughtful as she said, Maybe he has an older brother.

Chole laughed without the baggy pants.

Meanwhile, in the guest room, the twins bid André goodnight. And made their way to their bedroom, where they heard the teasing about Andre. Both Madeline and Riley's faces turned red with anger as they heard their friends laughing about their cousin.

Riley huffed and slammed the bedroom door open.

Madeline said it angrily to her friends. Riley and I heard that. Who cares about his pants? He is our cousin, and that is that.

Riley nodded in agreement.

Narrator. Madeline said...

Madeline said, "He may be small and very shy, but there's more to that boy than meets the eye.

Daniella said, Vraiment?

Madeline said, Really, you will see?

Nicole Laught Madeline at dinner. He didn't talk; he was a bumpkin.

Chole said he was a dumbkin.

(Together) A dum-ddiddlee-umpkin!

The 11 little girls laughed harder.

"That's it." Riley said while getting a huge pillow.

Madeline grabbed a pillow as well and threw it as hard as she could. The pillow soared through the air, hitting Nicole.

Narrator. But before the moon came up that night, the girls were no longer in a fight.

Nicole said she regretted Madeline!

Dainelle said we were really sorry.

Yes, Very very sorry. Chole said.

Madeline and Riley sighed. "It's alright, we forgive you. Riley said as she gave her friend a hug.

Madeline walked to her bed and looked out the window at the moon. Sighing, the small girl said, Oh, Andera, my friends will accept you someday; I will see to it.

That week, while the girls did their classes and went to soccer practice, Andre helped Miss Clavel in her garden.

Narrator. one by one as the autumn days flew And with Andre's care, the garden grew; it would seem that when all was said and done, Andre's thumb was not green but gold.

Miss Clavel thanked André over and over.

Andre, however, just shrugged. The boy was not used to all this praise.

Miss Clavel

Grow us those carrots.

Grow us those peas.

Grow us that broccoli.

We like it with cheese.

Make it ripe before the cold.

The gardener's thumb is not green.

but gold

All the girls

gold, gold, gold

gold, gold, glittery gold

The gardener's thumb is not green.

but gold

Miss clavel

Sow a spade and shovel.

rake, hoe, and dig

The beets are gigantic.

The pumpkins are big.

Pick them now before they mold.

The gardener's thumb is not green but gold.

All the girls

gold, gold, gold

gold, gold, glittery gold

The gardener's thumb is not green.

not green, but gold

gold, gold, gold

gold, gold, glittery gold

The gardener's thumb is not green.

but gold.

One morning, Madeline and her twin were trying to convince their cousin to come with them to soccer practice. Please Andre?" Riley begged you to teach us that kicking game you taught us long ago.

Meanwhile, all the other girls and Boys called. Riley Madeline Hurry up, hurry, we will be late. "One moment, si vous plait? Riley called

Madeline tried to convince her cousin once more. oui Attendez! Andre, please come to soccer practice with us today.

Andre said merci, but no, I have too much to do.

Madeline and Riley sighed and said, All cabbages and no play make one very dull day.

André said no, Madeline. You see, I cannot play.

The two twins were shocked, but I'm sure you could. Maddie and I remember that you used to kick a small rubber ball around all the time. Riley said.

Andre said, Oui, but I never learned how to kick a soccer ball. We don't have soccer where I live.

Riley said, All right, if you are sure.

Madeline said Au revoir, Andre!

Andre said au revoir.

Narrator. In two straight lines, the girls' departed, leaving poor Andre quite brokenhearted.

Andre then went back to the onion patch in the garden. Zut alors, these onions are very strong.

at the Park

Madeline couldn't concentrate. She just kept thinking about her cousin.

Hmm, There must be some way that Riley and I can convince Andre that he can play soccer. Madeline then got an idea: " I know.

The small girl then called to her sister. "Riley Come here, I've got a great idea."

Riley ran over to her sister, who told her the plan. Oui, That's perfect, Maddie." "Let's go." With that, the two twins ran off the field.

Pepito, Steven, and Dan called out, Madline, Riley, where are you going?

Madeline said Pardon Pepito, sorry, Monsieur Ambassador, but I have a feeling that we must go back to the old house right now.

Dan said, But Madeline Riley, we need to practice; we must win the big game."

The twins didn't hear their coach, though.

Riley said, Won't we get into trouble, Madeline? ?

Madeline said, Nah, come on Riley.

Back at the house

Narrator. It was Madeline' and Riley's sudden intuition that sent both girls home on an important mission.

Andre said I was tired of being a country clod.

Madeline and Riley then came around to the back of the house, where they gasped as they saw their cousin kick a huge pumpkin.

Narrator. Andre was small and very slick, but that small country boy

Riley said Zut Alors

Narrator. really knew how to kick.

Andre said Dumb-Diddle-Umpkin. Andre was about to kick another pumpkin when he saw his two cousins watching him with wide eyes. Madeline Riley, what are you two doing here? Andre asked.

Madeline said, "Andre, maybe you should join our team. With a kick like that, we could beat Les Rois.

Andre said, but Madeline I do not know how to play soccer. I only know how to garden.

Riley said Please, André?" Maddie and I know you would be great.

Narrator. Riley and Madeline pleaded, but Andre would not play. They could not convince him; he was much too shy. The peas and beans prospered under Andre's touch until everyone agreed it was a little too much.

As the vegetables grew larger and larger, they began to grow through the windows.

One day at lunch, a Tomato fell into Miss Clavel's Bowl of soup, splashing her.

Miss Clavel said, huh? What?

Narrator. Vine and plants were everywhere, even growing in Madeline's hair. A vine tangled through Madeline's hair that evening as she brushed her teeth.

Chole said this plants out like monsters.

Nicole said, and I am sick of beets and broccoli for breakfast.

All the girls said Ouie Mes si

Chole said Yuck, and everything smells of garlic.

Riley chuckled and said that was because it was growing in your shoe.

Chole looked at her shoe, and a clove of garlic shot up and hit her in the face.

Chole said Riley and Madeline did something, and it was all the fault of that dumb diddle umpkini.

Madeline and Riley knew that this was too much.

Madeline said we will, Chloe, do not worry.

Narrator. Riley and Madeline's cousin still would not play; carrying the equipment was the job for André.

The boy said way to go; it helps to have another person.

During practice, André gave the players water and passed out towels.

Pepeito said Gracias. Andre

Nicole said Mecie Andre

Andre said, Under Chole.

Madeline said bon Pepito.

That evening, everyone went to bed early.

Narrator. The game against Les Rois was the very next day. The next morning, there was a great rush to get ready after a quick breakfast. They would travel to a festival nearby the great palace of mirrors, known as Versailles. On the day of the game, there was furor and fuss; the Ambassador had even rented a bus.

all the Boys Hola

all the girls Bonjours as they boarded the bus. Madeline, Riley, and André all sat together. As the bus pulled away, everyone chanted, We know how to jump, we know how to kick with us around. Les Rois will look sick. Yay! Yippee!

Madeline and Riley were very excited to point out famous landmarks along the way.

Madeline said André looked at the Louvre.

Andre said Cest Bon Ah Ouie

All the girls, wow, look at that?

Riley said, "Look, André, at the Glass palace, Le Grand Palace.

Ander said Ah, Le Tour Elfie, even I knew that.

Madeline said, See over there, Larc de Trompher.

Narrator. The driver turned off the Chamops Elysesse, and they waved to a cabriolet after they had bid Paris goodbye. Madeline and her sister could hardly sit still. They finally arrived at the splendid palace of Versailles.

all the girls and boys Ohh la la, look at that! Wow, Tres Bien ohh la la

Narrator. Everyone showed their harvest; it was the best of country fairs. While they were passing the games, Madeline saw three teddy bears and knew she must win them with the strength of her throw. She won the three teddy bears. giving one to her sister and the other to her cousin.

Merci Maddie. Riley said excitedly.

Yes, Merci. Andre said, giving Madeline a hug.

Narrator. Soon, it was time for the game to begin and hopefully for the team to win.

all the girls and boys Le Tight les Tight growl block Les Roises Yay ya yay yay yay yay yaya

Dan said, Remember everything I told you, and now good luck.

all the girls and Boys Merci Merici

When the other team came out from the other side, the girls were shocked.

Narrator. It was like an awful dream when Les Tigre met their opposing team. They had a lot of self-reliance, but not enough to beat these Giants.

(All gulp)

Everyone on Les Tigres was shocked.

Riley said this is not the same team we played before.

Steven said they must have been eating their vegetables.

Soon the game began, and from the start, it was hard.

Pepeito said Ouie Shoot, Madeline Shoot.

Madeline kicked the ball as hard as she could, only to have it stopped by the goalie. The other team laughed. Madeline huffed angrily.

Narrator. It was hard for the Tigers to keep their place against these hulks with skill and grace.

Steven and Riley Gasp As Chole fell hard on her leg.

Madeline said, Oh no.

When a break was called, the Tigres were so sore they could hardly move.

Chole said, Oh, my ankle bone.

Dainelle said Oh, all my other bones

Pepeito said Madeline We must do something; we are being slaughtered.

Madeline then remembered that she and Riley had a secret weapon. Whispering her plan to her sister,

Riley agreed right on the spot.

Madeline said, Don't worry. Pepito, Riley, and I have a plan.

Dan said it was impossible. Madeline You are joking, no?

Madeline said no.

Riley then said André knew how to kick, and we saw him.

Steven said he was too little.

Madeline looked at her friend with a glare and said, "I'm little too." So What.

Riley said, But we have seen a kick, Pumpkin?

Dan said a pumpkin?

Madeline said, Please, what do we have to lose?

Dan said, Well, I suppose

Madeline and Riley then ran around the back of the scoreboard, Where Andera was sitting.

Madeline said you can do it, andre, we need you to beat these brutes.

Andre said I do not know how to play, but I will try.

"We know you can do it, André." Madeline and Riley cheered.

Madeline said you have watched us a lot. However, you make the Ball fly.

Narrator. But Andres kick was one huge plop, and the boy would surely be a flop.

Man Boo Boo

Ander whoa!

Narrator. The crowd just booed, jeered, and hissed every time Andre missed.

Steven said, Riley, we must do something.

Riley said Steven I have another plan.

Steven said, Is it better than Madeline's last one?

Riley looked at Steven angrily and said, "Don't you talk about my sister that way?

Riley ran toward the Girls Locker room, and Madeline followed her sister, confused.

"I know that look, Riley." Madeline frowned. "What are you planning?"

"I just need a bandage and some Paint." Riley declared. "And a little help from you, Maddie."

"Oh, boy..." Madeline sighed.

Riley told Madeline to pretend like she hurt her ankle. The older twin then wrapped the bandage around her sister's ankle.

"Hey, everyone!" a little help. Riley called as she helped Madeline, who was hobbling along.

Miss Clavel, Dan, Steven, Pepito, and the whole team came running over when they saw Madeline hobbling and limping.

"Madeline, what happened?" Peptio asked.

Madeline put on her best pained face.

"I... ow! Ow! ...Hurt my foot!" Madeline cringed. "Looks like I can't play... ow!"

While Dan and Miss Clavel helped Madeline to the bench,

Dan then came around and said, "Andre, we need you on the field.

"But I'll just get laughed at again. Andre said.

"Don't worry about that, lad." "Come on, André, do it for Madeline.

" Andre knew the plan and was just acting. Taking a deep breath, André said. Ok, I'll do it for Madeline."

Riley grabbed the Paint and painted the ball to look like a pumpkin.

Riley then said, "Think of this as a pumpkin, Ander.""

Ander said, Huh? Then, after a moment, he remembered. Hmm.

Narrator. Andre Kicks had such control that the ball just sailed right through the goal, and soon the team of almost losers had a chance to beat the bruisers. Andre kicked the ball, it twirled and spun, and that was it—the game was won.

The entire team of Les Tigres jumped up and down with excitement, as they had won the game. Madeline was so excited that she ran to the field. Her makeshift bandage was falling off. The team picked up Andre, Madeline, and Riley. Carrying them on their shoulders

Riley said Merci Andre

Pepito said Gracias

Madeline said, Sorry, we lied, but we knew you could do it.

De Rien! De Rien

Narrator... said André.

Ander said, "A ball that looks just like a pumpkin was the perfect thing for a Dumb Diddle Umpkin.

as the girls laughed.

The mayor then handed the gold trophy to Riley.

(everyone Cheering)

(Vive les Tigres.)

After a nice bus ride home, the Bus stopped at the Old House.

All the girls said au revour.

All the boys said, "Adios, see you soon.

All the girls Adieu

After a celebration dinner. Teeth were brushed, and everyone went to bed.

Narrator... Andre was off the very next day, and everyone wished that he could stay. There was still so much to say.

Andre had received a telegram saying that it was time to come back home.

Andre climbed up on the wagon and said, Papa needs my help anyway, and I want to start a country soccer team.

Riley and Madeline climbed up and hugged their cousin. The twins then said, "Andre, adieu, how we shall all miss you.

Madeline said you would tell you, Papa. Hi from us, right?

Andre said yes, Madeline. I will write to you two, alright?

You write to us, and we will write you back. Riley said.

All the girls Au revour Adied

Chole said, You know, I do not think Andre is that bad-looking.

Nicole said no; he's even kind of cute.

Miss Clavel said, Bonsoir, mes enfants, pleasant dreams. I must go prepare tomorrow's dessert, cabbage pudding.

(Together) cabbage pudding, oh no, no more vegetables please.

Narrator... then she turned out the light and closed the door, and that's all there is. There isn't anymore.
