Ryo Edo and several other's were either locked in confusion, disbelief or just astonishment at the reunion of The king with his son, Judai.

"I don't even believe it. The brat we found who couldn't even remember his name the first day we bring him here, knows that the king is his father? Nah uh I don't buy it." Manjoume grumbled his arms crossed over his chest. Edo flicked the black haired male in the face with his index causing the male to shoot him a glare.

"It's not up to us. Its obvious that the king recognizes him." Asuka reminds the male once again. Jim rubbed the back of his head slightly puzzled.

"My only question is…If he was in the castle this whole time, if he was indeed a prisoner to the Supreme king." The Aussie male explains his questioning.

Johan hummed. "Either way he escaped the explosion. We should be glad it didn't kill him." He had his arms crossed over his chest looking in the direction of the king absolutely pampering his son who looked anxious by his actions.

Edo rubbed his jaw a skeptical look on his face. "He shouldn't have tho. What if he's just a puppet? Someone that the supreme king disguised himself as to protect himself. Someone weak innocent and with a fragile mind?"

Ryo and Jim both shook their head. "The supreme king is cunning but not that calculated. If he had any idea of the explosion he wouldn't have been inside the throne room all together." Ryo brought up a good point which Jim and the others agreed to.

Manjoume wasn't buying it. "You mean to tell me that you think that shit over there could either have amnesia from everything he's done or have a multiple personality issue?" This caused a couple of them to sweat at his words but Edo brushed it off casually.

"If thats the case wouldn't his father be more skeptical of being around his own son?" Again the group look at the developement between the two. Rei and Fubuki were getting the two comfortable with some snacks and drinks.

Sho raised and eyebrow. "I'm not too sure guys. I've never see the king this elated before." That was a fact. Most interactions with the king were semi brush offs or stoic conversation. Here he was laughing and hugging Judai who was grinning just as much.

"We should still question him later about what he remembers from the castle exploding." Asuka suggests, which gets a few nods from the others in the group.

Judai smiled at his dad his brown eyes just lighting up. "H-how you been dad…?"

The king smiled heavily, his hair semi falling into his eyes as he looked down at his slightly shorter son. "So much better since I get to lay my eyes on you. God, you have your mothers eyes."

Judai sighed slightly. Being with his father, it brought up several memories… at least the ones he could recall. Most of his memories lied in darkness and he was afraid recalling them would bring back the darkness that took him over to begin with.

"What do you remember…? I know it's been a few years and your memories are scattered…" the king asks quietly his green eyes peering at his son apologetically, knowing fully well what pain it will cause for him to remember.

"I don't know what I've done… I don't know everything… the last thing I remember was seeing you and mom… before I was dragged away by the darkness.." Judai looked at his father pleadingly.

"How old do I look…" his memories were so distorted he didn't know how much his own body had aged. Being trapped in the shadows and forced to be isolated time passed so slowly he felt this was a dream he was having of his father and not the real thing.

"You look between 16 and 18…My you've grown… Even tho you've been trapped in the shadows…" His father said heavily his gaze dropping to the ground. "Gentle darkness…" Judai sighed at his fathers words. The Gentle Darkness…Something he was supposed to inherit from his grandfather. His grandfather warned him to never be afraid of the shadows, but he was so young when the Darkness snatched him and it ended up taking him over instead because of his fears.

"Its my fault…" Judai murmured which The king grasped his arms and looked at him in the eyes, brown meeting green. "Don't be. You were just a child…All children fear the dark and what lurks there… It had no right to claim you at such a young age, when you weren't mentally ready for it.."

Judai's eyes welled with tears. "I'm so sorry… I'm so sorry, Father.." He whimpered which the king pulled him into a tight hug and rubbed his back up and down. "Shhh its alright… I wish your mother could see you right now… She would've adored the man you've become."

He pulled back and looked at his father his tears slipping down his face. "M-mom's gone…?" He feared the worse, that his actions might've caused her death. He held his breath fearfully.

His father shook his head and looked at him. "No, my son...Her health is what claimed her life." Judai let go of the breath he held in and let the tears fall that welled up in his eyes as he sobbed.

Johan and the others who looked on at the scene felt empathy for the brunette, just now learning the loss of his mother.

"C-can… we go visit her..?" Judai looked down his brown eyes hazy with tears. The king looked over his eyes met Johan's as the teal haired male nodded and came over and gave Judai a tight hug from behind. 'Huh..?' Judai thought feeling the warm across his back as his brown eyes gazed slightly behind him at the comforting emerald green that were there staring back at him.

"Johan, please escort my son to the cemetery…" Judai looked at his father in confusion but Johan smiled to the king. "It would be a honor." Surprising the brunette with his warm hand, he grasped Judai's in his as he led him away and out of the largest house in the village.

"I see you watching youngin's." He sat down and ushed the group over. Ryo and Jim were the first to approach the king. His green eyes look from each one carefully. "Its bothering you that badly about who Judai is."

Several of them looked ashamed while Majoume Ryo and Edo don't remove their gazes from the king. "I need to know if my friend is hanging out with a multiple personality amnesiac. So whats the real truth, my king." Majoume urged his eyes gazing heavily at the king, his voice unwavering in his need for information.

"Sit down and I'll tell you everything." The King responded his hands folded in his lap.

"Why did you let Johan go with him? Why do you even want Johan around him?" Edo demanded this time knowing fully well if they were gonna get the details, they wanted to know why the king wanted Johan to be close to Judai.

"Just sit down… And I'll explain the curse of the Supreme King." a ripple of gasps escapes the group as they sat down on the couches near the King looking at him with complete shock.
