At Meridian in a forest, far, far away…

Caleb's prayers were answered as the rumors were true.

There has been a tear through space and time to take him to Earth. He had heard the legends of this mysterious place, a mirror image of Meridian except rare in magic but steep in traditions. Caleb knows that over half a millennial, the lost princess, still in a tinted egg was saved from the chaos and brought to the other world. Hope lied that after so long, the egg would know the loving touch of the truest family, the trusted parents, and emerge once more.

If the princess is out there, he will find her, protect her and maybe she can stop Phobos.

At The Silver Dragon…

Yan Lin knew the time would come, hoping that it was more time later…

She should have known that one of her own would take up the cup as a guardian as she did long ago and now her granddaughter will unite the next generation of guardians and finally end Phobos' rage.

"Hey, grandma, something weird happened. I sneezed and my room looked like it was in a typhoon." Hay Lin informed, still sniffing a bit from her powerful sneeze.

Yan Lin kept the closet closed as she still heard the voices.

"Umm… Yan Lin, why don't you invite your friends over and I will make them all a free meal? You could bring, Irma, Cornelia, and Taranee." She suggested to the girl.

"Really? That sounds like fun~." The energetic girl squeaked as there was a light coming from the closet.

"Oh! And bring the new girl as well… um… Will." She requested as she tried to hide the light.

This light beaconed to the young teenager.

"Hey Grandma, what's inside the closet?"

"Um… Gifts, yes, a gift for you. Don't peak!"

But Hay Lin didn't look convinced as she was still charmed by the light.

"Okay, if you bring your friends after school, I will show you what is inside this closet. Deal?"

"Okay, Grandma."

In Meridian, close to the forest…

The Three Beastly Bunch, Tristan, Bronwen, and Severin were leading the way for their father Cedric.

"The rebel boy is close; I can smell his sweat and desperation," Bronwen informed her father.

"What's the bloody point of sitting and waiting? We know where he is, why not just eat the blight?" Severin questioned with impatience while the earth began to crack under his feet.

"Because you fool, if this is the rebel leader we pursue, Millicent can crack open his mind and uncover where the others are, ending this stupid rebellion." Tristan scolded his brother.

"Do not call me a fool, you slobbering cat."

"Why not call things what they are?" Severin mocked her brothers as an argument began.

"Enough, all of you! Remember the task at hand. Once the rebel is caught, we can find the portal."

"And find our aunt." Tristan, Bronwen, and Severin answered at the same time as they all laughed.

At school…

Will breathed as this was a new start for her, while her mother decided to drive her to give emotional support.

"Alright honey, I know we've had it pretty rough but I think this will be a good beginning for the both of us. Now, have fun and make lots of new friends." She tried to encourage her.

"Friends… yeah right."

Will then stepped out of the car as it was still raining on that school day, trying her best not to feel overwhelmed.

At the auditorium…

The flower was the most beautiful that it had ever been, and her partners were having a problem with it.

"Cornelia, you were supposed to over-fertilize, it's supposed to be dead not thriving." Taranee gasped at the sight of the plant.

"I did! I overfertilized the heck out of this little thing. I tried burning it, smashing it, I even gave it to my sister and it still sprouted back up."

"Guys, the teachers!" Irma warned as the judges were coming their way.

The girls tried to cover the plants while Cornelia tried to kill the plant. The judges then passed them as the girls breathed in relief. But the plant still sprouted to life once more.

"Okay, what is up with this plant?" Cornelia questioned, but then noticed that it started to smoke and then burst into flames!

"Woah!" Irma gasped as the sprinklers suddenly turned on without there being any smoke yet!

"Faulty sprinklers, everyone out!" Teachers ordered as everyone was out of the room.

The girls were soon out of the room and made contact with their buddy Hay Lin.

At Lunch…

The girls were still thinking about that office meeting with the principal and their parents.

Though their plant caught on fire, it was clear it was not their fault. Then came the belief that the fertilizer itself was flammable, as Taranee's mother brought up her daughter's hand catching on fire. This led to a bit of a panic, with the parents rushing home to dispose of the leftover fertilizer and the school forcing a recall on the rest.

"Something weird has been going on around here and I don't think it's the fertilizer," Irma questioned as the four of them were at lunch.

"Yeah, weird stuff has been happening. The bubbles thing with Irma, the typhoon in Hay Lin's room, my hand catching on fire…"

"And the fact that no matter how many times I tried to kill that plant, it kept sprouting up." Cornelia brought up.

"Pretty weird, I wonder what's going on."

"Let's not dwell on it, I'm still pretty stoked about getting the free meal your grandma is offering."

"Oh yeah, I almost forgot. She wants the new girl Will to come too."

"Why?"

"I think it's a good idea, she looks like she could use a friend."

Inside the Forest on Meridian…

Caleb couldn't wait anymore as he heard the enemy coming close.

"May the Children of Escanors who fell before me, look after my soul." He breathed as he soon spotted Lord Cedric and his three children behind him.

"Stop him!"

Caleb breathed and then jumped through the tear!
