Chapter 18: The Titanic Exhibit and Burgatory

The next day, we all met up at the Carnegie Science Center to look at the new Titanic exhibit. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. While jamming out to NSYNC and 98 Degrees, we composed a Childhood Chat in which Elizabeth Mosh discussed using her new duffel bag in 7th grade in downtown Pittsburgh, Rachel Luster discussed staying comfy in kindergarten in East Liberty, Samantha Mifflin discussed taking quizzes in 1st grade in the North Side, Nicole Ellis discussed using her new stuffed animal in 12th grade in Oakland, Emily Grey discussed arranging her sleeping bag circle in 5th grade in Shadyside, and Hannah Mifflin discussed spreading gossip in 9th grade in the South Side. "Can we go see this exhibit again around Easter?" Carly asked. "If they are open," Mr. Benson stated. "I visited the Science Center on Easter weekend one year," Spencer stated. "I believe that you would have been with me." "I would like to go to either Zone 28 or Dave and Buster's before the holidays begin," Alex stated. "Our senior bowling trip was awesome!" "Maybe if we don't have anything to do one day, we can go to Zone 28," Max stated. "Or how about Dave and Buster's since it is closer?" Justin asked. "We'll see, guys," Alex stated. We looked at other exhibits in the museum, as well, including the submarine, prior to heading to Burgatory for dinner. While jamming out to Kate Bush and Lizzo, we composed another Childhood Chat in which Sarah Ching discussed having a movie marathon in 1st grade in downtown Pittsburgh, Kayla Jennis discussed eating gummies in 6th grade in East Liberty, Brooke Leesaw discussed taking a selfie in 11th grade in the North Side, Allison Brawner discussed staying comfy in 11th grade in Oakland, Isabella Black discussed arranging her sleeping bag circle in 7th grade in Shadyside, and Kaitlyn and Colleen Marioni discussed spreading gossip in 9th grade in the South Side. "When my hands felt cold with the ice, it was almost like going on my ski trip all over again," James stated. "This was the first time that Mom and George trusted me to stay home alone and take care of Angel and Henri," Sarah stated. "I knew for sure that I was too young to stay home by myself," Henri stated. "My favorite part of that summer was the house party that you threw when you got back home," I stated. "That was my favorite part, too," Sarah stated. "Hey, Carly, why don't we go to the South Side and spread gossip to be a part of the cool crowd? After all, we are besties like Hannah Mifflin and the Marioni twins." "Sure, Sarah," Carly stated. "Hey, wait a minute, Sarah," Alex contradicted. "Angel and I are your friends, too." "Yes, then Alex and I can just arrange our sleeping bag circles in Shadyside just like Emily and Isabella did," I added. "I hope that this is just a joke," Alex stated. After dinner, it was time for all of us to go home. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
