Vanity is often seen as a sin, but how bad is it that you want to look perfect. Surgeons have it too, perfection and not when it comes to their looks, but to their work, improving a technique, performing an operation even better than before. Perfection sees in all of us, only how you deal with it will determine if it makes you more beautiful or ugly as a person.

Jenna and Jo were walking down the main hall and were drinking coffee together. Jenna saw Amelia standing with Fred and that the two were talking, Amelia shook Fred's hand and he then walked out of the hospital and Jenna walked toward Amelia.

"Was that Fred?" Jenna asked.

"You just saw him leave," Amelia said.

"Was that tumor finally removed from him?" Jenna asked.

"Yes, but it could have been earlier if you hadn't been tattling to the boss," Amelia said.

"Are you still mad about that? You know as well as I do, my case was more pressing," Jenna said.

"Whatever you say, Dr. Tattler," Amelia said as she walked away.

Jo walked up to Jenna; "What was that about?"

"I have no idea," Jenna said.

"Are you okay?" Jo asked.

"I'm fine," Jenna said. "Come, we can't stand here like this, we have work to do."

Alex was in his office on the phone, a few seconds later he hung up and walked out of his office. He walked through the hospital like he was looking for someone.

"Kepner," he said.

"Yes, Chief," she replied.

"We have a major incoming trauma," Alex said.

"What is it?" April asked.

"During a fashion show that took place in Seattle Plaza, the catwalk collapsed and a lot of people were injured," Alex explained.

"Copy that," April said.

"You're in charge of the pit," Alex said.

"Okay," April said. "And what are you gonna do?"

"I have to deal with the press," Alex said.

"Do you think they're interested in coming here?" April asked.

"Models getting injured at a fashion show and having to be taken to the hospital, that's newsworthy," Alex said.

"Yeah, you've got a point," April said.

"I'm gonna go look for Bailey," Alex said.

"If I run into her, I'll tell her you're looking for her," April said.

"Thanks," Kepner, Alex said.

Alex and April were both walking in different directions. April headed towards the Pit, on the way Helm walked up to her.

"I'm with your service today, Dr. Kepner, she said.

"Then prepare yourself because today will be busy, April said, her phone buzzed, it was a text saying that the first ambulance was almost at the hospital. Come, Helm, we must hurry.

April and Helm ran toward the Pit, they got there and April went straight to the chair.

"Listen up everyone! We have a major incoming trauma that will be here any minute," April said.

"What's going on?"

"Catwalk collapsed and anyone injured is being brought here, I want Plastic, Ortho and Neuro ready and every available doctor, let's get ready people, go, go, go!"

April and Helm walked toward the ambulance bay, the ambulance arrived and the paramedics opened the doors of the ambulance and took out one of the victims.

"Who do we have here?" April asked.

"Courtney Fielding, 23, she's one of the models."

"What happened to her?" Helm asked.

"She was standing on the catwalk when it collapsed," Nicole explained.

"Big bruise on her head, we need someone from Neuro to see what the damage is," April said.

"Shoulder looks dislocated, too," Helm said.

"Get someone from Ortho," April said.

April, Helm and the paramedics walked on through the ER, the rest of the doctors walked to the ambulance bay and helped the rest of the victims.

Alex had found Bailey on the third floor of the hospital and walked over to her.

"Dr. Bailey good to see you," Alex said.

"Karev, I'm in a hurry, I need to help in the ER," Bailey said.

"There are plenty of people working there, I need your help," Alex said.

"With what?" She asked.

"The press, they're gonna come down here to get a story," Alex said.

"They're gonna love this, this is what sells," Bailey said.

"Exactly and I need your help with how to handle them, I'd like to avoid smashing lenses, if they're annoying," Alex said.

"The press can be pretty nasty when it comes to juicy stories like this," Bailey said.

"So what can I do?" Alex asked.

"Okay, the first thing to do is step up security, anyone who is not a doctor, ambulance paramedic or patient, they don't get in, unless they are cleared by someone from the hospital," Bailey said.

"Okay, I am going to take care of that, Alex said. And what can I do to stay calm, when the reporters are going to ask questions?"

I'll walk with you and I'll start explaining exactly what to do," Bailey said.

Alex and Bailey walked towards the elevator and Bailey explained to Alex how to handle the press.

Jackson was in the ER treating one of the wounds on one of the models, Diego entered the ER and walked up to Jackson.

"I'm on your service today," he said.

"Medina, go and fix that wound on Darci over there, Jackson said.

"Can he do that?" Darci asked.

"I taught all interns the best technique, including Dr. Medina, believe me he can do it, Jackson said.

Darci looked at Jackson; "And you will stay here the entire time?"

"I'm sitting here, if there is anything you call me okay," Jackson said.

"Okay, go ahead," Darci said.

Diego grabbed the disinfectant and cleaned the wound, he grabbed the suture and proceeded carefully, Jackson got up and walked over to Diego and watched as he sewed the wound closed.

"And it's done," Diego said.

"Good job, Medina," Jackson said.

"You didn't mess it up?"

"No."

"Didn't expect such an intern to succeed, but you did it," Darci said.

"Thank you, I think," Diego said.

"Dr. Avery."

"Yes, Valerie," Jackson said.

"Do you have time to talk about my breasts," Valerie said.

"Have the received any damage?" Jackson asked.

"No, but I think they need some work," Valerie said.

"And I'd like to do something about my butt, it's a little too flat," Darci said.

"Ladies I'm sorry but I don't have time for that today, plastic is already busy today," Jackson said, his pager went off and he looked at it, he started walking away from the bed. "And we need to move on too, Medina."

"I'm coming," Dr. Avery, Diego said, he got up and followed Jackson. "What are you gonna do with those two?"

"What they want from me is not a priority right now, Someone has been brought in now with a serious burn," Jackson said, he and Diego arrived at the trauma room and entered. "Who do we have here?"

"'Alec Dewey one of the male models, got this third degree burn from a lamp," Cole said.

"A lamp?" Diego asked.

"It was one of the stage lamps, Mr. Dewey was unconscious and his leg was open and exposed against the lamp," Cole said.

"And I removed that part of his clothing," Mack said.

"You did what?"

"To prevent any more parts of the fabric getting into his wound, Mack said.

"You're a paramedic, how come you don't do one of the most important rules you shouldn't do with third degree burns, you should never remove clothing," Jackson said, he was so angry he could almost shouted it at the paramedic.

"Dr. Avery, Mack, is still a rookie. This was his first day on the job. It was my idea to take him, Cole said.

"Then it was your fault this happened? It was your job to watch him," Jackson said.

"Hey, it was total chaos out there, I had to help other wounded," Cole said.

"Dr. Avery, what can we do?" Diego asked.

"Medina, cover his leg with a sterile bandage," Jackson said.

"Yes, Dr. Avery," Diego said.

"Medina, when you're done, get me an O.R,' Jackson said.

"I'm on it, Dr. Avery," Diego said.

Arizona entered trauma room 2, Webber and Schmitt were helping a pregnant woman.

"You paged me, Arizona said.

That's Liv Colson, 28 years and 38 weeks pregnant, Webber said.

"I gotta call my boss," Liv said.

"Ma'am, we need to make sure you and your baby are okay. Please get some rest," Schmitt said.

"Liv? Can I say Liv?" Arizona asked and Liv nodded her head. "Liv, were you at the fashion show?"

"I'm the assistant Natasha Cook," Liv said.

"Who's that?" Schmitt asked.

"The owner of Style Spot, she had sent me to the fashion show to make sure everything went well," Liv said.

"Does your boss know you're 38 weeks pregnant?" Schmitt asked.

"She knows, but she still told me to go to the fashion show and do my job," Liv said.

"Can you tell me what happened?" Webber said.

"One moment the models were on the catwalk and the next moment the catwalk collapses and I see a model coming at me," Liv said.

"Baby heart beats sounds fine," Arizona said.

"Good, now I can call Mrs. Cook," Liv said.

"Liv, you must get your rest, it's important for you and the baby," Arizona said.

"But..."

"Someone must have called her, it'll be okay," Webber said.

"Okay, I'll get some rest," Liv said.

"Schmitt, you stay here and keep an eye on her, call us if anything comes up," Arizona said.

Will do, Dr. Robbins," Schmitt said.

Arizona and Webber walked out of the room and approached the front desk.

"What kind of boss lets her highly pregnant assistant work?" Webber asked with an angry tone in his voice.

"Someone who probably only cares a lot about money," Arizona said.

"She'll probably have to come to the hospital, I'm going to see if she might be here," Webber said.

"You don't know what she looks like," Arizona said.

"Right, I'll ask Liv real quick," Webber said.

Webber walked back to Liv's trauma room and asked what her boss looked like, She grabbed her phone and showed a picture. Webber walked out of the room and went looking for Liv's boss.

Link and Kyle walked through the ER to the bed assigned to them.

"So the model you just had couldn't even spell her own name?" Link asked.

"She couldn't," Kyle said.

"Did she suffer brain damage?" Link asked.

"I did tests and no brain damage," Kyle said. "But let's face it, most of the models here don't have a high IQ I don't think, is mostly about their looks."

"Oh you think so?" A voice asked. Kyle opened the curtain, and saw one of the models sitting in the bed, with a nurse standing next to her. "Isn't that a little stereotypical?"

"Uhh." That was all Kyle could say.

"This is Vanessa Watkins, 27 and also one of the models," the nurse said.

"Dr. Lincoln, call me Dr. Link,

"And can you tell us what the problem is? Kyle asked.

"I hit my head and my shoulder is dislocated, Vanessa said.

"Let me take a look, Kyle said, he took his light out. "Follow the light, please?"

"Do you think I can handle that, or am I too stupid to be a model?"

Kyle again didn't know what to say, he let Vanessa follow the light, while Link looked at Vanessa's shoulder.

Meredith was in Trauma Room 1 and was examining one the male models, she pressed down on his belly tentatively and he began to groan.

"Did you fall on your stomach?" Merdith asked.

"I don't know, it all happened so fast," Jonah said.

"Mr. Keller," Meredith began.

"Call me Jonah, Mr. Keller is my father, Jonah said.

"Okay, Jonah, I think it's good that we're doing some scans,

"That won't be necessary, Just give me some painkillers and I'll be out of here, Jonah said, he wanted to get up, but Meredith and Parker stopped him.

"Stay here, Parker. You stay here and make sure he doesn't leave," Meredith said.

"I'll take care of that, Dr. Grey," Parker said.

Meredith left the room, Parker stood by the bed and kept a close eye on Jonah.

DeLuca was busy with a patient in Trauma Room 3, Jenna and Amelia arrived in the room at the same time.

"Did you get paged too?"

"Yes."

"Great," Amelia said sarcastically

"Who do we have here, DeLuca?" Jenna asked.

"Travis Palmer, 44, he was one of the photographers who was injured, He took a big hit to the head and according to the paramedics Mr. Palmer grabbed at his heart, when they to him."

"Jenna walked over to Travis and started listening to his heart; "Heart is beating erratically," she said. "Mr. Palmer, how can you describe the pain in your chest?"

said. "I feel like I should throw up."

"This could be a sign of a concussion, Mr. Palmer, Are you feeling dizzy? Amelia asked.

"Quite, sometimes I seeing blurry, next moment it's gone, Travis said.

"We need to get him up to CT, Amelia said.

"And let's go fast, Jenna said.

DeLuca and Jenna removed the brakes from the bed and headed toward the CT scan with Travis.

Alex stood outside the hospital, he was in front of a large group of reporters and photographers.

Can you tell us anything about the condition of the models?" One of the reporters asked.

"Our doctors are busy taking care of everyone right now," Alex said.

"Who were the seriously injured?"

"I can get there..."

Alex was interrupted by one of the reporters. Alex was starting to get nervous from the questions and camera flashes.

"Okay, enough now!" Alex shouted. "I don't have any answers for you now, come back here at 4:00 p.m. for a press conference and I'll give you the answers we'll have then."

Alex walked back into the hospital, a few of the journalists left, but a few others waited at the exit. Alex walked up to the security guard.

"Boyd, I want you to stay in contact with the other security guards and if anyone from the press comes in, you grab them and call the police," Alex said.

Copy that, Chief, Karev," Boyd said.

"All right, good job, Alex said. He started walking in the direction of his office, when he was approached by a man.

"Excuse me, you're the boss?"

"No press, leave now or I'll get security to detain you, Alex said.

"I'm not press, he said, he reached into the jacket and pulled out his badge. "I'm Detective Miles Abbot, I'm here to investigate."

"And what exactly are you here to investigate?"

"The catwalk that collapsed, I need to know the condition of anyone injured for the report," Miles said.

"I understand that, I don't have an update right now, so I'll ask my doctors to send me one now and I'll let you know," Alex said.

All right," Miles said. "Is there somewhere I can wait?"

You can walk with me to my office," Alex said.

"Alright," Miles said.

April, Jo, Helm and Tom were in CT scan room waiting for Courtney's scans to come through.

"So the Fall collection is here early this year," Helm joked, she looked around, and the other three doctors weren't laughing at all. "Get it Fall and fall."

"Are you serious?"

"Dr. Helm."

"Yes."

"Do us all a favor and leave the inappropriate jokes to those who knows when to make them," Tom said.

The computer started beeping. Helm clicked on the mouse and the scans showed up on the screen.

"The results are in," Helm said. "She has no brain damage, that's good news."

"But she does have a fracture in her sternum," Jo said.

"And that fracture is near the lungs. We need to get an O.R. ready and get started on this," April said.

Meredith had just gotten her coffee. Parker walked up to her.

"Do you have results?" Meredith asked.

"Dr. Grey and I think you better look at it yourself," Parker said.

Meredith put down her coffee and Parker handed her the tablet, she looked at the results of Jonah's scans and sighed. Without taking her coffee again Meredith started walking and Parker followed her, the two doctors walked to Jonah's room.

"You had a gastric bypass," Meredith said.

"So, what about it?" Jonah said.

"This one is not in your medical records," Meredith said. "Let me guess, you had this gastric bypass done, outside America."

"It's my body, I get to make my own choices about it," Jonah said.

"But why would you do that?" Meredith asked.

Jonah grabbed his phone and showed a picture to Meredith and Parker, it was a picture of himself, only in that picture he was very hefty; "This used to be me, fat and ugly and look at me now I'm a model."

"Jonah…"

"I worked hard for this body, I exercised a lot and changed my whole diet," Jonah said.

"And this is very good of you," Parker said. "But why did you get gastric bypass?"

That reduction will make sure I never become that fat and ugly man again," Jonah said.

"Because of the fall you took, there are complications," Meredith said. "We need to operate. Dr. Parker, get me an O.R. ready."

"Yes, Dr. Grey, Parker said.

Webber was back in the main lobby, one of the nurses had sent him a message that Liv's boss was there, he saw the woman standing and walked over to her.

"Mrs. Cook."

"That's me."

"I assume you know the reason you're here," Webber said.

"Yes, the catwalk collapsed and people got hurt, Natasha said. "What a PR nightmare this going be."

"Excuse me?"

"Where's my assistant? She was there and needs to deal with this," Natasha said.

"Your assistant, Liv, is heavily pregnant and is here now," Webber said.

"Which room? I need to talk to her about this whole mess," Natasha said.

"She needs to rest," Webber said.

"I deal with my staff, and if I do speak to her, I'll speak to her when I want to," Natasha said.

"And I deal with my patients, of which Liv is one right now and this wouldn't have had to happen if she wasn't there," Webber said.

"It's her job."

"And she's pregnant."

Alex was also in the main lobby and had overheard conversation between Webber and Natasha and walked over; "Dr. Webber, can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Are you the chief?" Natasha asked.

"Chief Karev, if you wait a minute, you can talk with me later, okay?" Alex said, he took Webber to the side. "What's your problem?"

"That woman, she doesn't care that her people got hurt, she's more concerned about the image damage to her company," Webber said.

"Okay, so she's a terrible person, but try to stay calm, the patients are our priority, she is not," Alex said.

"You're right. I'm gonna go see Liv now, see how she's doing," Webber said.

Webber walked away and went back to the room where Liv was. Alex walked over to Natasha and took her into his office.

Kyle walked toward Vanessa's room. When he arrived he knocked nervously on the glass and Vanessa told him to come in.

"I'm here for your check-up, Kyle said.

"Yes, because obviously as a model I can't lose any more brain cells, right?" Vanessa said with some tease in her voice.

"I'm sorry about earlier," Kyle said.

"I'm just teasing you," Vanessa said.

"I deserve it, Kyle said, he grabbed his lights and checked Vanessa's eyes. "Everything, looks fine, I don't see anything to worry about."

"Good, to hear," Vanessa said.

"How does your shoulder feel?" Kyle said.

"Better now that it's in place," Vanessa said.

"I want to say again that I'm sorry about that comment," Kyle said. "I really don't think models are all brainless beauties, it's just…"

"How we are often portrayed in social media?" Vanessa asked.

"That yes," Kyle said.

"I hate that, yes I am a model, but I have more than just my looks," Vanessa said.

"I know that now," Kyle said. "I have to go again, but I'll check back with you in two hours."

"See you later, Dr. Nolan," Vanessa said.

Amelia and Jenna were in the CT scan room, they didn't speak a word to each other and sat in silence waiting for the scans to get ready. DeLuca walked into the room with three cups of coffee.

"Your coffee, DeLuca said, putting the coffee down and sat in one of the chairs. "Are the results in yet?"

"Not yet," Jenna said.

"Other doctors also need the CT scan," DeLuca said.

"Then they'll just have to be patient," Jenna said.

"What do you expect when you have an accident like this?" Amelia said.

The computer beeped and Jenna pulled out the results, DeLuca looked through the window and saw that Travis's arm was outside the machine.

"I think he lost consciousness in there, DeLuca said, he got out his chair and ran to the other room.

"Damn it."

Amelia got up and ran into the other room. Jenna looked at the scans, once she saw what was going on she got up and ran to the others.

"He sustained significant damage to his heart and there are nails in his head, he needs to go to the O.R. now, Jenna said, she ran over to Travis and stared giving him CPR.

"Nails?"

"You have to work on him right away, or he won't survive," DeLuca said.

"DeLuca, get us an O.R," Jenna said.

Jackson and Diego were in the O.R. treating Alec's burn.

"Medina, how are Alec's vitals?" Jackson asked.

"Those look good, Dr. Avery, and his BP also looks good," Diego said. "Do you think the wound can heal on its own?"

"We'll have to wait and see, I have to remove a lot of dead and burned skin now," Jackson said.

"Hope for his sake he's not a leg model by then," Diego joked, but he quickly realized it wasn't funny. "Sorry, that was inappropriate."

"What that paramedic did was a bad move, it one of the most important rules of a 3rd degree wound that you don't remove the clothing," Jackson said.

"He still only a rookie and especially on your first day, you're bound to make mistakes," Diego said.

"His partner should have watched him better," Jackson said.

"I also messed up pretty bad on my first day," Diego said.

"What?"

"My first day as an intern at the hospital where I was working at the time did not go smoothly, I had to check on a patient, everything was okay with her and she asked me if I wanted to sit her bed up a bit, but I pressed the wrong button and the bed started folding double with her still in it. I really thought I was fired."

"Why are you telling me this?" Jackson asked.

"The paramedic made a mistake and now you have to fix it, but haven't we all had that, someone fix our mistake and then we try to learn from it," Diego said.

Jackson had nothing to say, he proceeded to remove the dead skin from the leg, when he was done with that, he put everything down; "Medina, would you cover the wound with this special bandage?"

"Yes, Dr. Avery," Diego said.

"When you're done with that, get him into a room and make sure he gets plenty of fluids," Jackson said.

"I'll take care of it," Diego said, he walked over the Alec and started wrapping the wound in with the special bandage.

Webber got to Liv's room, he saw she was all sweaty and Arizona and Schmitt were working on her.

"What's going on?" He asked.

"Her water broke," Schmitt said.

"It's still too early," Liv said.

"Liv, you can deliver at 38 weeks, your baby will be fine," Schmitt said.

"My husband, he can't miss this, he has to be here," Liv said.

"Liv we will call your husband so that he comes to the hospital," Webber said.

"He's not there, he's deployed, he won't be home for 3 days," Liv said.

"The baby's stuck," Arizona said.

"What?!" Liv yelled.

"We have to do a C-section," Arizona said.

"We can't," Liv said.

"Liv, it's the only option," Arizona said.

"I'm allergic to anesthesia," Liv said.

"Liv, it's gonna be okay. We're gonna make everything okay," Webber said.

"See which O.R. is free and make sure we get him," Arizona said.

"Yes, Dr. Robbins," Schmitt said.

Schmitt ran out of the room, Arizona and Webber tried as best they could to keep Liv calm.

Meredith and Parker were in one of the O.R.s working on Jonah's surgery.

"Okay, I see no other organs are damaged, which is good news," Parker said.

"It's hard to reach the tear because of the gastric bypass," Meredith said.

"How do you think he did it? You can't just do it in America that easily," Parker said.

"As long as you have enough money, a lot of people won't ask questions," Meredith said.

"That's just wrong," Parker said.

"I know," Meredith said, the looked down at Jonah and sighed. "No."

"What is it?" Parker asked.

"There is starting to get blood in his stomach, Meredith said. "The tear has gotten bigger, suction."

"I've got it, Dr. Grey," Parker said, as he started suctioning.

Meredith tried to stop the bleeding and suture the tear, The machines started beeping loudly.

"We are losing him, Parker said.

"He keeps bleeding and I can't get any more of his stomach out," Meredith said. Jonah started to code. "Give me the paddles now!"

Parker took out the paddles and gave them to Meredith, she gave Jonah a shock but nothing happened. She asked it to bring the up and she shocked him again and then again but nothing happened.

"Time of Death, 14:06," Meredith said.

Parker turned off the shock machine, Meredith put the paddles to and went to start closing Jonah up,

Kyle had gone back to Vanessa's room; "Here I'm again."

"Hello, Dr. Nolan," Vanessa said.

"Do you feel any changes?" Kyle asked.

"No, I don't get much headaches anymore," Vanessa said.

"That's good to hear, but just to be safe, it'd be good to stay here overnight," Kyle said.

"If you say so, Dr. Nolan," Vanessa said.

"Can I ask you something," Kyle said.

"I suppose you want to ask why I became a model?" Vanessa guessed.

"That's exactly what I wanted to ask," Kyle said.

"I saw an advertising site somewhere that they were looking for new models, I auditioned and I got the job. I make a good living at it and I use that money for my studies," Vanessa said.

"What are you studying?" Kyle asked.

"Human behavior," Vanessa replied.

"Are you thinking about becoming a profiler for the FBI?" Kyle jokingly axed.

"Maybe."

"The nurse will be by in a minute to ask you what you want to eat and if there's anything you press that button right there," Kyle said.

"Thank you, Dr. Nolan," Vanessa said.

Kyle got up and walked toward the door. He and Vanessa kept looking at each other, causing him to not pay attention and he bumped into the closed door, Vanessa couldn't help but laugh a little. Kyle recovered sight, opened the door and left the room again.

April, Jo, Tom and Helm were in the O.R. dealing with Courtney's surgery.

"This is a tricky break," Jo said.

"You can work on it, right?" April asked.

"Yes, but I think it's good to call up Link," Jo said.

The alarms of the machine started to beep rapidly.

"What's the matter? Is it her heart?" Helm asked.

"No, it's her lungs, there's damage," April said.

"Her oxygen level is dropping," Tom said.

"Pneumothorax or pulmonary edema?" Helm asked.

"There's fluid in her lungs," April said.

"Acute pulmonary edema," Helm said.

"Helm come here and help me," April said.

"Yes, Dr. Kepner," Helm said.

The four doctors went to work fast as they could, Courtney's oxygen level had dropped to zero, Jo started chest compressions and tried to get the oxygen level back up, but after many minutes nothing changed,

"How many minutes?" April asked.

"10 minutes," Tom said, as he looked at the clock

Dr. Koracick, look at her pupils please? April said.

Tom opened one of the eyes and shined his light in Courtney's eye, then he tapped her or and then he did the same to the other eye, he put his light away and looked at the other; "Pupils are fixed and no reaction."

"She is brain dead," April said. "We are hooking her up to a respirator and need to notify the family."

Jackson walked toward the ambulance bay, he saw Mack sitting on the bench.

"Mack."

"Mack was startled and stood up right away; Dr. Avery."

"Sorry, that I startled you," Jackson said.

"It's okay," Mack said.

"And I wanted to say sorry for the way I went off on you," Jackson said.

"You had every right to get mad at me, I made a pretty big mistake," Mack said.

"Yeah, but you're also a rookie, you have a lot to learn and me yelling at you doesn't help," Jackson said.

"I understand," Mack said. "How is Alec now?"

"We worked on his wound, see if it heals on its own," Jackson said.

"And if it doesn't?" Mack asked.

"Then we'll have to do a skin graft," Jackson said.

"Oh," Mack said.

"Listen, I invite you to join me in my class on what to do for different kinds of burns," Jackson said.

"I wanna learn, count me in," Mack said.

"Good, I'll see you here next Tuesday at 12:30," Jackson said.

Mack said he will be there, he and Jackson shook hands. Jackson walked back into the hospital and Mack sat back down on the bench.

Jenna, Amelia and DeLuca were in O.R. 3, busy with Travis surgery.

"DeLuca, I need another unit of blood," Jenna said.

"Yes, Dr. Wyatt, DeLuca said, he grabbed a unit of blood kept it ready.

Okay, now everyone needs to sit still and not move, or I'll lose concentration, and of course we don't want me to blind him, right?" Amelia said.

"No, of course not," DeLuca said.

Amelia grabbed the tweezers, she very carefully pulled out the nail; "Got it"

"That's one," Jenna said.

"How do you actually think those nails got into his head?" DeLuca asked.

"They must have been from the lamps, when they fell down, they probably came loose too," Jenna said.

"You think, Sherlock," Amelia said.

Jenna wanted to say something back, but the machine started beeping loudly. Jenna went right to work.

"It's his aorta," Jenna said.

"What about it?" DeLuca asked.

"There's a tear," Jenna said.

"Oh no, I see a bleeder," Amelia said.

Jenna and Amelia both went to work as best and as fast as they could to repair the damage to Travis' heart and brain. Travis began to flatline. Jenna pulled out the paddles and shocked him, nothing happened and she shocked him again. Jenna kept doing it a few times, but it was no longer any use.

"Dr. Wyatt, call it," Amelia said.

"Time of Death, 14:38," Jenna said.

Amelia took off her mask and left the O.R., Jenna told DeLuca he could find the contact information, he left the O.R. because to do so. Jenna stayed behind to close up Travis.

Arizona, Webber and Schmitt were in the O.R. with Liv, Webber sat with her and held her hand, Arizona and Schmitt were preparing for the C-section.

"I'm scared, Liv said.

"Everything will be all right, Liv, we gave you something you won't experience much of the pain, Webber said.

"Dr. Webber?"

"Yes."

"Will you stay with me and hold my hand?" Liv asked.

"Sure, I'll right by your side," Webber said.

"Let's get started," Arizona said.

Arizona grabbed the scalpel and began cutting into Liv's abdomen. Liv grabbed Webber's hand tighter, he began to sing to her and this seemed to calm her down. And a few moments later the baby was out.

"Congratulations you have a baby boy," Arizona said, she held the baby up to show him to Liv.

"I have a son?" She said, still kinda in disbelief.

"You have a son," Webber said.

"Schmitt start cleaning him up," Arizona said.

"Yes, Dr. Robbins," Schmitt said.

Arizona handed Schmitt the baby and he started cleaning him and Arizona went to work tending to the wound.

After Jenna finished with Travis, she and Amelia had gone to Alex's office after he sent them both a message to come to his office.

"Why did you want to see us, Chief Karev?" Jenna asked.

"Your patient Tarvis Palmer died, right?" Alex asked.

"Yes, he sadly didn't make it," Jenna said.

"I hope he didn't died because of you two aren't able to work together," Alex said.

"What?"

"I know you don't like each other, but couldn't your personal feelings have cost this man his life?"

No, of course not, His aorta was too much damaged and I could not repair the damage, and such a large damage the chance of survival is only 20 percent," Jenna said.

"His brain was also too much damaged, even if we could manage to reapply his aorta, would not have survived either," Amelia said.

"We did our best," Jenna said.

"He unfortunately had no chance of surviving this," Amelia said.

"I want a full report from both of you, what you did, step by step, and I want it on my desk tomorrow," Alex said.

"Yes, Chief Karev, Jenna said.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a press conference to give," Alex said.

Alex stood up, he, Amelia and Jenna left his office. Alex walked toward the elevators and Jenna and Amelia stood silently in the hall.

"I'll get right to work on the report," Jenna said.

"You do that," Amelia said an almost cold tone in her voice.

"Okay, what's your problem with me?" Jenna asked.

"You know, you stole my patient," Amelia said.

"You mean Fred? That happened weeks ago and just to be clear, I didn't steal him, He was my patient at the time when he came into the hospital," Jenna said.

"Did you really have to go to the Chief to tattle on me?"

"My Cardio case had more priority, you wouldn't listen and I had to do something, That you don't like me has nothing to do with what happened back then, you didn't like me before that, why?"

"Why don't I like you?"

"Yeah, I didn't give you any reason not to like me, then let me tell you something now Dr. Shepherd, I don't like you either and I have a reason at least, since you've been nothing but a bitch to me," Jenna said.

Without another word Jenna walked away. Amelia walked the other way toward the elevators.

Webber stood outside Liv's room and looked in and saw her happily holding her son, which made him happy. Webber walked away and went toward the main hall, there he saw Natasha sitting and went to her.

"Liv and her baby are okay, thought you'd like to know," Webber said.

'Now you expect me to make a card for her?" Natasha said.

"You could at least be more compassionate, your people were injured, two of your people died, one of those two was a single father of two daughters and they have now lost their father," Webber said.

"I didn't kill them," Natasha said.

"But you don't seem to care about them, no, just the image damage you're going to get," Webber said.

"This is none of your business, Dr. Webber," Natasha said.

"Those people who were injured are now here in my hospital, so this is my business now," Webber said.

Natasha's phone rang and she picked up and didn't listen to a word Webber said. Webber tenses his head and walks away.

The next day. Helm stood outside the room where Courtney was lying, she April in the room talking to Courtney's family. April walked out of the room and went over to Helm.

"Is that her family?" Helm asked.

"Yes," April said.

"And what's going to happen? What have they decided?" Helm asked.

"They're going to take her off the ventilator tomorrow at 3:00," April said.

"That's a tough decision for them I guess, I mean as a parent you shouldn't outlive your child," Helm "said.

"Her sister has told me that she told Courtney was doing this modeling work so she could give her parents a world trip as a gift," April said.

"Is there anything we can do for them?" Helm asked.

"We support, that's what we can do for them," April said.

April was beeped and she took off, Helm continued to watch Courtney and how her family stood around her, in tears knowing that they had to say goodbye to her.

Diego walked down the hall, he saw Jackson standing and walked up to him; "Good morning, Dr. Avery."

"Hello, Dr. Medina," Jackson said.

"How is Alec now?" Diego asked.

"I just changed his bandage and he see he was feeling a little better," Jackson said.

"And how did the wound look?" Diego said.

"Not much change, but we'll have to wait a few more days," Jackson said.

"And if the wound doesn't start to heal, we'll have to do a skin graft, right?" Diego said.

"Exactly, and if it comes to that, would you like to help with that, Medina?" Jackson asked.

"Very much so, Dr. Avery," Diego said.

"Good to hear," Jackson said. "IV bag."

"What did you say, Dr. Avery?" Diego asked.

"My first day as an intern and I made a mistake one of the IV bags," Jackson said.

"What happened?" Diego asked.

"I had to take new IV bag to one of the patients and I don't know how I managed it, but that bag got stuck and when I tried to get it loose, it snapped and was covered in IV fluids."

"Whoa."

"You were right yesterday, we all make mistakes in the beginning, and if you learn from them then it proves how a good doctor you will become," Jackson said. "You're not going to tell anyone about this, are you, Medina?"

"Your secret's safe with me, Dr. Avery," Diego said.

"Good to know," Jackson said. "We have the other models to check on today and see how their wounds are."

Jackson and Diego began walking toward the pit.

Kyle arrived at the hospital, Vanessa was standing at the front desk and he walked over to her.

"You okay to leave?" Kyle asked.

"Yep, I'm okay to go home again," Vanessa said.

"What about your arm?" Kyle asked.

"My roommate promised to help me," Vanessa said.

"That's good," Kyle said. "So you're not a patient here now?"

"I'm not a patient anymore," Vanessa said.

"Well, now that you're not a patient of this hospital, maybe you'd like to have coffee with me sometime?" Kyle asked.

"Only if that coffee has low fat milk," Vanessa said, both her and Kyle chuckled. "Seems like a lot of fun Dr. Nolan."

"Kyle, just say Kyle," Kyle insisted

"Kyle," Vanessa said. "Can I have your phone?"

Kyle gave Vanessa his phone and she put her phone number in it, she gave his phone back.

"Text me when and where you want to meet," Vanessa said.

"You will hear soon from me," Kyle said.

Vanessa got a message that her roommate was waiting for her outside, she and Kyle said hello, Vanessa walked towards the exit and Kyle walked towards the elevator to go to the Attending's lounge.
