"Okay, now slide!" Donnie Wahlberg instructed.
Rick Gomez, Richard Speight, Shane, and Emily were killing time while waiting for a scene to be set up. They had somehow managed to convince Donnie to teach them one of the dances from New Kids on the Block.
"Great! Annnnd turn! Lookin' good Luz." Donnie said.
Emily had been keeping up pretty well, due to being a musical theater kid, in spite of her being in costume. It wasn't until she giggled and caught Shane's eye that she tripped, causing everyone to try to catch her.
Everybody stumbled over each other and fell into a laughing heap.
"I think it's time for a break anyway, we'll be doing some running in this scene." Donnie chuckled.
"Yes Sergeant!" The three men laughed while saluting.
"You good, Alice?" Richard asked.
"Doing fine, Muck." Emily giggled as Shane helped her up. "Lost focus, there."
She looked herself over, checking for any rips or tears.
"No holes?" Emily asked Shane.
Shane looked. "None that I can see."
"Good. I'd hate to be yelled at by wardrobe." Emily giggled.
Everyone walked to the catering table.
"Maybe Emily should teach us some of her dances from the musicals." Gomez joked.
"Please no! I will never do that!" Emily begged.
"What's wrong, can't do them anymore?" Donnie teased.
"I haven't done a choreographed dance number in years." Emily explained. "The last time I sang and danced for anything was 2 years ago. And it wasn't even well received."
"Really? What was it for?" Shane asked, drinking from his water bottle.
"I played a second lead character who was a drug addict. Why they decided to turn that type of subject into a musical is beyond me." Emily shrugged.
"Yet, you acted in it." Gomez said, stirring a cup of coffee.
"I was desperate and the role intrigued me. I gave it my all, though." Emily laughed.
"You should perform a couple numbers for us sometime." Donnie chuckled.
"In your dreams." Emily scoffed.
"LIPTON, LUZ, MUCK, AND ROE! ALL NEEDED ON SET." A voice boomed.
Shane pecked Emily's cheek before running off to join the rest of the cast.
Emily sat in her seat off camera. Her script in her lap, she opened it for the tenth time today, knowing she wasn't until the end of it. She had already filmed her specific scenes for this episode, but she loved being on set.
She couldn't help but wonder what Eugene and Alice's relationship was really like in the early days.
"Curahee." She whispered to herself.
