Episode 2: An Exciting Beginning

I was lying in bed next to my friend, Emily. We were tossing and turning in our beds, dreaming. It was a good dream. "Wouldn't it be great if I had that dream again?" Emily said aloud.

"That dream was super awesome," I said. We closed our eyes to go into our dreams. Then, it happened! The same dreams we have been having is happening again!

"Oh goodie! Here it comes!" Emily shouted.

We inserted our glitter charms into our Glitter Pact. "Activate Glitter Pact!"

"All together! Glitter Force Makeover!" Everyone shouted.

A Glitter Puff shot out from our glitter packs. "Magic glitter puff! Here we go!" Emily shouted. With the power of our glitter puffs, we all transformed into our cool superhero outfits. "So cool!"

"It's like a fairytale! With girl power! And make up!" Emily shouted. Meanwhile, Emily and I were still in beds, tossing and turning. "Gotta get up. Can't be late. Oh, not yet. This is my favorite part." Emily said.

Back in our dreams, when we all finished transforming we landed on the ground. "Here I go! A fabulous shimmer! A glow in your heart! I'm Glitter Lucky!" Emily shouted.

"Hopes and dreams, the power of belief! I'm Glitter Wish!" I shouted, doing my pose.

We put more glitter charms into our Glitter Pacts. "Activate compacts!"

"Hit it, girls!" Emily shouted.

"Glitter power!" We all yelled when tiaras formed on our heads.

At the end of our dream, we found ourselves dressed up in princess dresses. "Here it comes! The big finish!" Emily shouted.

"Watch out world! Here comes the Glitter Force!" We yelled. When the dream was over, we woke up. But when we woke up, it was time for school. Of course, we were late because we decided to sleep in. Now Emily and I were rushing to school, running down the streets.

Emily: Oh no! Oh no! We're gonna be late! All because of a silly dream! My first day at a new school too! Mom was right, that's what comes from reading too many fairy tails! Calm down Emily, it's going to be okay! You'll make new friends and - Hey, a butterfly! They're good luck! Yeah, it's gonna be a great day! The kind of day where something magical could be just around the corner-!" As she said that, Emily came to a stop when we came to a corner. As figured, nothing was there. Emily chuckled to herself. "Yeah right. This isn't one of your fairytales."

"Watch out!" A voice suddenly said.

"What the hell?" I said.

"Heh? Who- H- Hello?" Emily called out. We kept looking around to see where that voice was coming from but we still found nothing. The voice called out to us again.

"Look out below!" The same voice shouted again.

"Wha?" We looked to see something flying towards us. "What the hell is that?" I wondered.

"I don't know. A bird, maybe." Emily said. "Hmm, no."

When we took a look closer, we discovered that the thing flying towards us was a flying book! Our expressions widened. I have never seen something like this before. "Holy!" I exclaimed.

"A book? A flying book!?" Emily shouted. Then, we saw what looked like a small lamb with yellow fluffy ears coming out of the book.

"I'm free!" The creature shouted. The creature crashed face-first into Emily. Emily landed hard on the ground.

"That's gonna leave a mark." Emily groaned.

"Emily! Are you okay?" I asked.

"Yeah, I am fine. Don't worry about me." Emily said as she rubbed her head. "That's gonna leave a mark," Emily said, rubbing her head. Emily's eyes lit up when she saw the creature in front of her. Emily and I studied the creature with curiosity.

"Woah... What are you?" Emily wondered.

"Wow," I said.

When the long awkward stare was over, the creature stood up. "Oopsies." The creature said. The creature smiled at us. "Hello."

Emily squealed suddenly, startling both me and the creature. Her eyes sparkled with delight. "Look at you!" Emily shouted, picking up the creature before it could run away. Emily rubbed her head on its head. "Oh my Gosh, you're unbelievably cute! Are you somebody's toy? Are you really expensive? Where can I buy one of you?" Emily asked. The creature jumped from Emily's hands.

"You can't buy me anywhere! My name's Candy and I'm a Pixie from Jubiland! The Kingdom of Happy Endings!" The creature said.

"You're a what from a Kingdom of what!?" Emily cried.

"This is all so confusing," I said.

"Ah-mazing! I said I'd find something magical just around the corner and I did! A real live magical creature! I knew it! Like my storybooks! Are you the kind of Pixie that grants magical wishes?" Emily looked up only to see that the Pixie disappeared. "Hello? Pixie?" Emily called. Emily's face turned to an expression of disappointment. "Aw, I should have known it was too good to be true."

I looked to see the book still lying on the ground. "Hey Emily, the book!" I said, handing it to her. Emily took the book from me, studying it carefully.

"But if the book's still here..." Emily said. Her eyes lit up again, with a wide smile. "Then I wasn't imagining it! Oh nuts, I'm late."

"Come on Emily, we should get going," I said.

"Right," Emily said. We stood up and grabbed our bags. Then, it was off to school. We continued to run to school. "I knew this would be a great day! A fairy godmother, or maybe some new best friends!"

When we arrived at school, our new teacher, Ms. Mason introduced Emily and I to the class. "Class, we have a couple of new transfer students. Go ahead Lana and Emily, introduce yourselves." Ms. Mason said. Introduce ourselves? Oh no. We have to do public speaking. My heart dropped, and so did Emily's.

"All right! Uhh..." Emily said when she noticed the class staring us. I swear they were watching us like hawks.

Suddenly, a girl from the back spoke up. "Is this Charades? Are we supposed to guess? 'Cause I'm real good at guessing!" The girl said.

"Oh, sorry! I pledge allegiance to the flag of the-" Emily cut herself off when she realized she was saying the pledge of allegiance. "Oh no, wait a minute, no what I meant is um... I'm Emily! It's a pleasure to meet you! Oh, that went well..." Emily groaned. Emily gave me a signal to introduce myself.

I sighed, taking a deep breath to prepare myself. "Hi! My name is Lana!" I said rather quickly.

"You're kidding. That's it?" The girl from the back said.

"Huh?" Emily and I said.

"That's just not gonna cut it! I know! How about letting me do your introduction for you?" The girl said while giving us a wink. Emily and I exchanged glances when we realized who that girl was. We recognized that girl to be the same girl from our dreams. She had orange hair and orange eyes. We were startled when she appeared just inches in front of us.

"Let's see now. Your names are Emily and Lana, and you're not very good at public speaking." The girl said.

"I'm really not-" Emily said, waving her hands around.

"I'm not either!" I said.

"And you're a transfer student, and you're pleased to meet us, yaddy yada... Oh, I almost forgot and you wave your hands a lot too!" The girl said with a smirk. Everyone laughed at the girl's comment. Emily and I laughed but they were nervous laughs. "See how well that worked? You guys are a hit already!"

"Kelsey." A girl spoke up. "Why don't you leave the poor kids alone already. Stop giving them such a hard time."

Emily and I looked at the girl. She had green hair and green eyes. We recognized her to be from our dreams as well. The girl next to her who had blue hair and blue eyes spoke up as well. "Yeah, it's their first day no wonder they're nervous." Our eyes widened even more. She was from our dream too! No way! "I thought their introduction was just fine." The girl said. I blushed when she said that. I gotta admit she looked hot.

"Thanks for the info. Speaking of which let me introduce these two. That one here, that's April. Really good at sports, any sport. Outdoorsy, super athletic, in fact she's tougher than most of the boys at this school." Kelsey said.

"Hey! I'm not that tough!" April cried. Kelsey just chuckled in response.

"As for the Chloe here, she's brainy, pretty, popular, yet humble. The whole package. And she's the student body vice president. She's so perfect it's kind of scary." Kelsey said.

"I'm not perfect," Chloe said.

"Heh! Don't worry you'll get over it. When I first transferred here I was all tongue-tied and nervous too but just look at me now!" Kelsey said.

"Thank you, Kelsey. Very entertaining. You may return to your seat." Ms. Mason said.

Kelsey smiled, making her way towards her seat, high-fiving kids on the way. "No problem. Just trying to help. Thank you. I'll be here all week." Kelsey said.

"I thought you did a good job." Another girl said. We looked down to see a girl with yellow hair and yellow eyes. "I especially liked the part where you said your name was Emily. I had a hamster named Emily."

I recognized that the girl was from my dream as well! "Hi," I said.

"And last but not least, that's Lily. She's super sweet but careful, she's sensitive. Almost anything makes her cry." Kelsey said.

"I haven't cried once today! Okay, maybe once. Three times at the very most! The bee freaked me out." Lily said. Everyone laughed. Now that everyone was laughing and having a good time, I didn't feel nervous anymore, neither did Emily.

"Well! I'm not so nervous now, so let me try it again. The way I practiced it! Hello everyone, my name is Emily. I know this may sound weird, but I really really love fairy tales. And what I love most about them is that they always have a happy ending and so I try to find a little of that happiness in my own life every day." Emily said.

"So uh, what makes you happy? Like when the cafeteria serves fries instead of creamed spinach and peas?" Kelsey asked.

"Not exactly. It's a little hard to put into words. But suddenly everything around you gets all sparkly and there's a warmth in your heart. Well, whatever it is it's a wonderful feeling and you know it when you feel it." Emily said.

"Nice!" Lily said.

"I think that's called sunstroke," Kelsey said.

"Well, I think I get what you mean," Chloe said.

"Okay, well, it's super nice to meet you all!" Emily said, bowing down. Emily let out a sigh of relief and then giggled.

"Okay, now let me try. Hello everyone, my name is Lana. I really love movies, especially superhero movies. I love going to the movies a lot and my hobbies are writing and doing art. I have a big family, I have one wife and one husband. You see I am not like most people. I am gay. Even though my family isn't here right now, I hope they are proud of me for what I have accomplished." I said.

"I have a question. Why are you married to two people? How does that work?" Kelsey asked.

"Uh, it's... Hard to explain." I stuttered.

"What happened to your ear and your eye?" Lily asked, pointing to my cut ear and the scar on my eye. My heart stopped. How the hell was I supposed to explain to the whole class that I was forced into a marriage and abused?

"I... I'd rather not talk about it." I said. I felt a few tears forming in my eyes. Emily put a hand on my shoulder to comfort me. Emily already knew about the abuse I had to go through because I told her when she first took me in. I took a deep breath, then spoke up again. "It's nice to meet you all."

"Okay, now we need to find you girls a desk." Ms. Mason said.

"Hey teach, the desks behind me is open and marginally clean!" Kelsey shouted, waving her hand.

"Well, aren't you girls lucky? Go on and take a seat, Emily and Lana." Ms. Mason said.

"Okay Ms. Mason," I said.

"Right," Emily said. Emily and I walked to our seats where Kelsey was waving at us.

"Thanks, Kels," Emily said.

"Just make yourselves at home," Kelsey said.

Emily let out another sigh of relief. "That wasn't so bad. A little rough at the start maybe..." Emily said. After school, we were packing up, getting ready to go home but first Emily and I needed to make a stop at the school's library.

"So, you have to go straight home? Want me to show you around? I know all the shortcuts." Kelsey asked us as we were packing up our stuff.

"Thanks, but Lana and I are actually gonna go find a book about dreams in the library," Emily said.

"Okay, well, good luck with that," Kelsey said.

"Thanks! See you tomorrow!" Emily called as she waved to Kelsey.

"Bye-bye!" Kelsey called back.

"Bye Kelsey!" I called. I smiled to myself. Today was a great day. I could tell Emily was feeling the same way.

"This is such a magical day! First the pixie, and then the girls from my dream!" Emily shouted. Emily raised her arm in the air. Not being able to control herself, she shouted, "Ah! It's like I'm in a real-life fairy tale!"

Everyone stared our way when she said that. My face turned bright red. Emily grabbed my hand as we walked away quickly, not wanting to draw more attention to ourselves. "Crazy... Disappearing now." Emily said. Finally, we found the library.

"Hello? Anyone here?" Emily called when we walked inside. "With all these books there's got to be something about dreams here..."

Suddenly, we saw a bright pink light glowing in the distance. "Emily, look!" I said, pointing at it.

"That's weird... The Library of Legends. Very weird." Emily said. Emily grabbed the book from the shelf. The shelf continued to glow. "I'm not sure I should be doing this... Where's that light coming from?" Emily wondered. Emily pushed the books to the right. The light followed. Emily pushed the books again to the left. The light followed again.

"And again... huh?" Emily said.

"Emily, what are you doing?" I asked as she put her fingers in between the books.

"Here goes nothing!" Emily said. When Emily pushed the books open, many pink bright lights began to show. We stepped back. "Oh man, what have I done now?"

"Emily, you're not in Kansas anymore! Ahh!" We screamed when we began falling down the portal. We continued to fall down. When we got to the bottom, we landed hard on our faces.

"Uhh, that's gonna leave a mark." I groaned, rubbing my temples.

"Ow! That hurt!" Emily cried. When we stood up, I gasped. This place was gorgeous! Bright lights shown everywhere. The grass was bright green and books were everywhere.

"Woah... Look at all those lights. What is this place? It's like a forest. A magical one! And wait, look! It's full of books! Magical books! And glittery pixie-dust! It's beautiful!" Emily shouted.

"This is so cool!" I cried, jumping up and down.

"Hold on. The Pixie's flying book... I betchya it came from here." Emily said, grabbing the book from her bag. Emily put the book on the shelf. "What if I just..." When Emily put the book on the shelf, a woman's voice began to speak.

"Thank goodness you've come at last." The voice said.

"A talking book? Well I guess if books can fly-"

The woman cut Emily off. "Hush. Listen carefully. I'm weak and haven't much time. I am the queen of Jubiland, the Kingdom of Happy Endings. Ours was a bright and joyful world... until we were attacked by the evil Emperor Nogo, ruler of the Shadow Realm. While using all my energy to hold Nogo at bay. I dispatched my pixie scout, Candy, to find the legendary warriors who are destined to become the mighty Glitter Force. But before they face this evil threat, they must first reclaim the Glitter Charms from the clutches of Nogo's monsters and use them to power up their Glitter Pacts and crowns.

You two are one of the six. Now you must help Candy find the others and persuade them to join us. You, Emily, and Lana are our only hope to defeat Nogo and restore a happy ending to our world... and your own."

"What!?" I cried.

"Sure, no pressure..." Emily said.

"Where are you!?" We heard Candy yelling in the distance.

"Is that Candy?" Emily wondered.

"Where are you, Glitter Force!? We need you! Ahh!" Candy yelled. Candy stopped when she saw a big bad wolf in the sky. "This is very, very bad! Oh no! Ulric's here! Ulric's here! If I don't find them soon it'll be too late!"

"There she is!" Emily cried.

"That's us she's talking about! Wait, Candy, we're right here! Ugh, how do I get out of here!?" Emily shouted. Emily pushed the books again. Emily continued to push the books again and again. "Candy! Candy! Where'd you go!"

The bright lights showed again when Emily pushed the books open. "Oh, no... I got a funny feeling! Here it goes again!" Emily cried. Just like last time, we began to fall again. Thankfully we didn't land on our faces again.

"Okay, now where am I? A bookstore? But how did we get... It's a secret portal! But wait! Where's Candy?! I can't believe it! I'm a superhero! There she is! And it's not over yet!" Emily cried. We continue to chase after Candy as she kept running away from the wolf.

"Ulric's here! Ulric's here! What am I gonna-!" Candy screamed when she began falling off the roof but Emily caught her in time. Candy turned to our direction to see us in front of her.

"Remember us?" Emily asked.

"Hello," I said.

"No time to talk now, I've gotta get- Woah!" Candy cried when Emily caught her again.

"What's wrong?" Emily asked.

"Haven't you seen him? The big bad wolf floating up in the sky?!" Candy cried.

"Aw come on, you're just seeing things," I said.

"What? Oh come on a wol-" Emily stopped when she saw the big bad wolf in the sky. "Woah! It's a big bad wolf floating in the sky!" Emily cried.

The wolf chuckled. "What a bright, jolly-looking world this is. Or was. Until I came along and painted it black. Suddenly the future isn't looking quite so bright." Ulric said. Ulric opened up a book and splatted some paint on it. I watched as the sky turned dark.

"What in the?" I said.

"What is happening?" Emily asked.

"It's just what I was afraid of! He's rewriting the future of this world!" Candy cried.

"Rewriting it how?" Emily asked.

"By giving it a sad ending!" Candy questioned.

"A sad ending?" Emily questioned. When we looked up, Emily gasped to see everyone covered in purple smoke. They were all crying. "What's happening to everyone?" Emily asked.

"Oh no, that's just what he wants! He's taking all their hopes and dreams!" Candy shouted.

"Why is he doing that?" Emily asked.

Ulric chuckled. "Every ounce of negative energy that I collect... turns the Wheel of Doom another click! And brings me closer for the day when I can revive my master, Emperor Nogo!" Ulric shouted. Ulric gave out an evil chuckle.

"Stop it! Stop it!" Candy cried.

"I'm not sure that was a good idea!" Emily cried when Ulric landed on the ground.

"Ya think?" I said.

"So the pipsqueak is here too, huh?" Ulric said.

"Yeah, and I got here first, you evil fleabag!" Candy shouted.

"Don't push him," I said, worriedly.

"He's not gonna like being called that," Emily said.

"Give it a rest. This world is coming to a bad end. There's nothing you can do to change it." Ulric said. Emily and I gasped.

"No, that's not true! There's always a chance for a happy ending! As long as you keep trying, anything can happen!" Candy shouted.

"What a load of hooey!" Ulric shouted, taking a step closer to us.

"It's not!" Candy shouted.

"Is too!" Ulric yelled back.

Emily carefully picked up Candy. "Okay, time for a timeout. But Candy's right! Just today Lana and I had to introduce ourselves to our new classmates. Suddenly I panicked. And I got really discouraged. And I almost gave up. But then someone helped me. And I tried again! And I did it! You can make your own happy ending by just not giving up!" Emily shouted.

"You talk a lot. Look, just give me that little furball. I'm hungry." Ulric said. Candy screamed when Ulric sharpened his claws. Emily wrapped protective arms around her.

"No. I won't. Never." Emily said.

"You won't touch her," I said.

"Come on. Aren't you even a little bit afraid of me?" Ulric asked.

"Oh, I'm a whole lot afraid of you," Emily said.

"Then why make it hard on yourself?" Ulric said.

"I don't know... Maybe 'cause I've read enough fairytales... to know you never trust a wolf!" Emily shouted.

"We get such a bad rap! Oh, well, I can't disappoint my readers." Ulric said, sharpening his claws again. We screamed when Ulric began chasing us. "I love a good chase!"

Ulric begain to chase me, Emily, and Candy. "Leave me behind he might let you go!" Candy cried.

"You're probably right, but I could never do that!" Emily cried.

"I can catch you without even trying!" Ulric shouted.

"You'll never outrun him! This way we'll both be doomed!" Candy shouted.

"We're gonna die!" I shouted.

"Don't be such a pessimist Candy and Lana! Whatever happened to keep trying and never lose hope and happy endings and all that stuff!" Emily shouted.

"Well…" Candy said.

"I can smell your fear! I've almost got you!" Ulric shouted. Emily and I screamed when we tripped, landing on the ground. "See, you never had a chance. Now that I've caught you so easily. It's over. End of story." Ulric said.

"Oh, no it isn't! You don't get to decide when this story's over! Or what kind of ending it has!" Emily shouted.

"You're a pain, you know that?" Ulric said.

"Don't talk about my friend like that!" I yelled.

Ulric ignored me, sharpening his claws more. "All right, if that's how you want it... we'll finish it the hard way!" Ulric shouted. Ulric went in to attack us.

"No! It'll be a happy ending!" Emily yelled.

"And I'll beat you, wolf!" I yelled. As we yelled those words, a bright pink and purple light blasted into the sky, pushing Ulric back.

"What!?" Ulric yelled.

Emily and I gasped with fright when we saw that we were floating in the sky. "This is unexpected." Emily.

"Yeah." I gasped.

"It's you guys! You're the ones!" Candy said excitedly. Suddenly, a small pink case appeared. Emily and I caught the cases.

"Did I win a prize?" Emily asked.

"It's you're very own Glitter Pact!" Candy explained.

"Okay?" Emily said.

"I can't believe I found you guys! You're Glitter Lucky! And you Lana, you're Glitter Wish!" Candy said excitedly. Emily and I gasped. This was the same exact thing that happened in our dream!

"Just like my dream!" Emily cried.

"Now open the Glitter Pact, activate it, say... Glitter Force Makeover, then let it do the rest!" Candy explained.

"Yeah, but this time it isn't just a dream. It's for real." Emily said.

"Let's go!" I shouted.

We opened our Glitter Pacts. "Insert Glitter Charm!" Emily and I shouted.

"Activate Glitter Pact!" The voice said once we activated our Glitter Pacts.

"Okay, here I go. Glitter Force Makeover." Emily said. After she said those words, a magical Glitter Puff appeared.

"Now use your Glitter Puff! Put on Shades of Power!" Candy said. Emily tapped the Glitter Puff on the packed, then tapped it on her hands.

"Poof Poof Glitter Bands!" Emily yelled. Glitter Bands appeared on Emily's arms.

"Poof Poof Glitter Boots!" Emily shouted. Glitter Boots appeared on Emily's feet when she tapped the Glitter Puff on her legs. Emily continued tapping on her body, creating the rest of the costume. Her skirt and top with a bow appeared. "Poof! Poof! Poof! I'm Glittertastic!" Emily shouted. Emily gasped when her big hair appeared. "Wow!"

Emily then tapped the Glitter Puff on her cheeks. When Emily finished her transformation, she landed on the ground. "A fabulous shimmer! A glow in your heart! I'm Glitter Lucky!" Emily yelled, doing her pose.

Now, it was my turn to transform. "Glitter Force Makeover," I said. Just like Emily, a magical Glitter Puff appeared. I knew what to do next. I tapped the Glitter Puff on my arms, making Glitter Bands appear.

"Glitter Bands!" I yelled.

"Glitter Boots!" I yelled, tapping the Glitter Puff on my legs, making Glitter Boots appear. I continued to tap on the rest of my body, making the rest of my costume. My skirt and top with a bow appeared. "Yeah!" I yelled.

"Hah!" I yelled when my big hair appeared. My green eyes changed color to a light purple color. I tapped the Glitter Puff on my cheeks. When I finished my transformation, I landed on the ground.

"Hopes and dreams, the power of belief! I'm Glitter Wish!" I yelled, doing my pose.

"I found two! Only four more to go!" Candy said happily. When Lucky and I looked at our costumes, we screamed. Lucky's costume was pink and dark pink, her hair was in two big ponytails. My costume was a shade of purple and dark purple. My hair color was a darker purple. My hair was in two big ponytails with long hair in the back that touched the ground. My eyes changed from green to light purple. How the hell did this happen!?

"What have I done!? What if I'm stuck in this costume forever? It's... It's... So cute! And it's pink! I love pink!" Lucky shouted.

"My costume is purple! It's so cool! I love purple too! And my eyes!" I cried, jumping up and down.

"Agh! I hate pink and purple!" Ulric said.

"I know you're excited. But you two are one of the Glitter Force now, you guys have an important job!" Candy said.

"Yeah, I'm confused," I said.

"Fight evil!" Candy said.

"By that you're not really saying that I'm supposed to like, uh..." Lucky stuttered.

"Fight that wolf, yeah!" Candy said happily.

"Oh... What!? No way, I don't do fighting, sorry!" Lucky said.

"I don't do fighting either," I said.

"What do you mean you don't? You have too!" Candy shouted.

"We didn't know that was part of the job!" Lucky shouted.

"Okay, now I'm bored. Let's wrap this up, shall we?" Ulric said. We screamed when Ulric began to charge at us.

"Hold on a second, I think I have an idea!" Lucky shouted. We began running towards a brick wall.

"Running away again? That's your idea-" Candy said. We went behind the brick wall.

"You're hiding? Seriously?" Ulric said.

"Wolves can't get through bricks, I know that from reading The Three Little Pigs! I've done my homework!" Lucky shouted.

"Beat that, bastard!" I shouted.

"You guys are much smarter than I thought!" Candy said.

Ulric just chuckled. "If you think a little brick wall can stop me, you're gonna love this! Buffoon! Come on down!" Ulric yelled. I watched as Ulric pulled out a red ball. Red sparks of thunder shot down. What was he doing?

"Ah, what's happening?!" Lucky cried.

"Run away!" Candy cried. Wasting no time, we ran away from the brick wall. Then, a giant clown-like house has appeared right in front of us!

"Buffon!" The clown house shouted. I gasped, hiding behind Lucky.

"That is seriously freaky!" Lucky cried.

"I know, right!?" I cried.

"Oh yeah, he's mighty mighty! Don't look so surprised. You don't have a monopoly on magic. We can use it too, to summon monsters!" Ulric said.

"You mean steal magic!" Candy said.

"All right, Buffon! Get 'em!" Ulric yelled.

"Buffoon Bash!" The Buffon yelled, charging at us. We all screamed. We ran away as it began chasing us.

"Let's get out of here!" I cried. As we ran, we did a big jump, flying high in the sky. Lucky and I screamed. Man, I was not used to this superhero stuff. We screamed again when we noticed how high we were up in the air.

"Wh-? Wha? Wait? How?" Lucky cried.

"Did I forget to mention you can fly!" Candy said.

"Yes!" Lucky and I shouted.

"Didn't expect that. After them!" Get a hold of yourself! Stop panicking! Save it for him!" Candy shouted.

"Buffon!" The Buffon yelled as it was coming at us. Lucky and I screamed, holding our hands out.

"No!" Lucky yelled. With a powerful force, the Buffon landed on the ground. We began falling on the ground but surprisingly made a soft landing. Lucky and I made a groaning noise. I rubbed my temples.

"Hey! I really do have superpowers?" Lucky said.

"Wow," I said, amazed.

"Even better! You have super Glitter Powers!" Candy said.

"Do I have to have a secret identity..." Lucky said.

"What?! I am not a sidekick!" Candy yelled.

"All right, I am ready to save the planet! So what comes next?" Lucky asked. We screamed again when we saw that the Buffon was right under our feet! We ran away again. "It's like a terrifying circus bouncy house!"

"You can say that again!" I cried.

"Are you just gonna stand there? Bounce after them!" Ulric shouted. The Buffon began to chase after us again.

"I'm not sure I'm ready for this job, Candy!" Lucky cried.

"I don't think I'm ready either!" I shouted.

"You need to stop running and unleash your Sparkle Storm and Wishing Star!" Candy said.

"What will that do?" Lucky asked.

"Well, for one thing you might defeat him," Candy said.

"Really? Cool. Okay, I'll give it a try. Hold it right there!" Lucky shouted at the Buffon.

"What, did you trip again?" Ulric said.

"Nope. Sparkle, Sparkle, Sparkle Storm!" Lucky shouted. Nothing happened. "Ehh... It doesn't look like it's working."

"Sparkle Storm! Sparkle Storm! Sparkle Storm!" Lucky shouted.

"Let me give it a try," I said. Like Lucky, I waved my hands around. "Wishing Star! Wishing Star!" I yelled. I got the same result.

"Ugh! Wishing Star! Wishing Star! Wishing Star!" I yelled again. Nothing happened again.

"That is so sad," Ulric said.

"Buffon!" The Buffon yelled. The Buffon began chasing us again.

"Well, that didn't work!" Lucky cried as we were running away again.

"You don't believe in yourself! Your Glitter Spirit isn't strong enough!" Candy shouted.

"Spirit? What are you talking about? I've got plenty of spirit! I almost made the pep squad once!" Lucky shouted.

"Buffon!" The Buffon shouted. The Buffon attacked us with it's tongue attack again. The Buffon kept attacking us with his tongue. We made a hard landing on the ground. Lucky was able to get up. After she got up, she helped me up.

"Okay, that's enough. This is no way to get a happy ending. No matter what happens, I can't lose hope. I've got to keep trying!" Lucky shouted.

"We won't stop until this bastard has been defeated!" I yelled. Then our Glitter Pacts began glowing.

"Of course! The Glitter Pacts! Channel all that Glitter Spirit into the Compact!" Candy shouted.

"Huh? All right!" Lucky said. Lucky began to focus all of her energy into the Glitter Pact. "Agh! Spirit, spirit, we've got spirit... yes we do! We've got- huh!?" Lucky cried when she noticed her Glitter Pact glowing again. "It's glowing brighter and brighter! It's not dangrous or anything, is it?" Lucky said.

"No, don't stop! Keep going, keep going!" Candy shouted. Lucky continued focusing all of her energy into the Glitter Pact. I began to do the same thing, giving it my all to focus all of my energy into the Glitter Pact.

"This is getting ridiculous! Get rid of them!" Ulric yelled.

"Buffon!" The Buffon shouted.

"Yes, we do! We've got spirit, how 'bout you?!" Lucky yelled.

I gave out a loud grunt. "Spirit!" I yelled. When we said those words, a bright pink and purple light showed in the sky.

"Do it now! This is your chance!" Candy yelled.

"All right! Glitter Force Sparkle Storm!" Lucky yelled. Lucky created a heart with her hands. Then, she shot the Sparkle Storm at the Buffon. Now, it was my turn to take a hit at this Buffon. A big comment appeared in the sky. Without thinking, I grabbed the comment, aiming it at the Buffon.

"Glitter Force Wishing Star!" I yelled. I shot the comment at the Buffon. The Buffon was defeated, disappearing into a bright light.

"Buffon!" The Buffon shouted as it was disappearing.

"Did I do it? Is it over? Why do I feel so..." Lucky groaned, falling down to the ground. I too began to feel the same exhaustion, so I slumped onto the ground next to Lucky, leaning my head on her shoulder.

"Saving the world from evil is kind of exhausting, isn't it?" Candy said.

"You can say that again," Lucky said. "I hope I don't have to do this every day."

"Me too," I said. I looked up when we saw a charm falling to the ground. Lucky and I caught the charm in our hands.

"What's this?" Lucky asked.

"It's a Glitter Charm!" Candy said.

"Really? Hold on! Wait, what about the wolf?" Lucky asked.

I looked up again to see Ulric floating in the sky. "You win this time! It's not over, Glitter Force." Ulric said. With that, Ulric disappeared. The sun was bright again, and everything was returning to normal again. Emily and I were back in our regular clothes.

"We did it! Everyone's returning to normal! Of course it doesn't mean I have a clue how we did it." Emily said.

"It was all you and Lana! It's your destiny to save the worlds! How 'bout helping me find the rest of the Glitter Force!" Candy said.

"What!? You mean I'm not a solo act? Just kidding, sure!" Emily said.

"Really? You will?" Candy asked.

"'Course! The Glitter Force rocks!" Emily said.

"Hell yeah it does," I said with a smile.

Emily: Wow. If there's one thing I like even more than a happy ending. It's an exciting beginning!
