Heaven

"Adam." A voice called from behind.

It looked like Adam's time to himself was over as someone called for him. He turned around to see an angel standing in the middle of the room and must have come in through the open window. But as Adam looked closer at who the angel was, he saw that it was more than an angel. It was the Archangel Michael.

"Well, well, well. Michael. So fucking sweet of you to visit me on this find day. Were you strolling through the neighborhood? Need a cup of sugar? Stopped by for a bit of tea and crumpets?" Adam asked sarcastically.

"He requests you," Michael said, getting straight to the point and ignoring Adam's attempt at humor.

"Im gonna need you to be a bit more fucking descriptive. There are a lot of HEs in this place. What HE are we referring to?" Adam asked.

"I would figure that in that childish brain of yours, you could figure out who I am referring to, as I wouldn't bother to come here for anything else," Michael said, which gave Adam an obvious hint.

"Hm. The big man himself requests me? Did one of you fuck up so bad that he's calling a perfect specimen such as myself to fix it?" Adam asked with a shit-eating grin on his face.

"If that were true you'd probably be the last person to call upon. I'd suggest you stop trying to guess and come with me," Michael suggested.

"Okay, okay, don't get your man-sized panties in a bunch. Lead the way then," Adam said with an arm motion illustrating his point. He then watched as Michael turned around and began to walk out to the balcony. As he followed behind, he saw Michael sprouted his wings from his back and got up on the railing before walking off. Adam knew Michael didn't just commit a suicide in front of him as he was most likely gliding with his wings. Adam flapped his wings and he took to the sky and saw that Michael was flying as well.

Adam was rather curious as to what this could be about. It had been a long time since he had spoke to their lord in person. He was a man that very few ever got to see as he could traverse to places that most could not ever access, looking over the entire universe that he created. Any human that has been given the opportunity to be redeemed and found themselves in heaven has never gotten to see him in person. That, of course, brings about rumors of what he actually looks like. Most of the orders that Adam "apparently" got from him were usually told to him by someone else. Typically by a different angel or one of his children, like Michael.

"So Michael. Care to share why you're bringing me to the big man?" Adam asked to add a little small talk.

"Does it really matter?" Michael asked, not answering his question.

"If it didn't matter to me, I wouldn't have fucking asked now, would I?" Adam responded.

"What matters to you doesn't matter to everyone else. I thought you knew that by now," Michael said.

"Because most of you are grade A squares. If you cared about the same things I do, this realm would be a lot more fun," Adam stated.

"Not a thing would ever get done around here if that was the case," Michael said.

"Can YOU just tell me why I'm being summoned out of nowhere?" Adam said, going back to his first question that still remained unanswered.

"No," Michael simply responded.

"You don't know do you?" Adam said, coming up with his own answer.

"I never said that," Michael said softly.

"So you do know?" Adam responded.

"Perhaps I do," Michael said again with a soft tone.

"I don't think YOU do 'cause you'd of fucking told me by now," Adam responded.

"Well, how about you go on and figure it out yourself when you get there," Michael said as he maneuvered his body around to where he could look Adam in the face while flying.

"Oh, piss off," Adam responded.

After a few minutes of flying at a constant level, it was time to increase their height. The area in heaven where God would reside at times was the tallest building in the entire realm. God himself would use it as a place to look over everything that he built and to look over the health of the domain. It was clear to everyone where their lord was, but it still did not mean they knew what he actually looked like.

Both Michael and Adam came to rest at the very top of the building. What could be considered as God's personal quarters had a large outside area, almost like a patio. From there, you would walk towards a set of large golden doors that proceeded inside.

"I'm sure even you couldn't get lost from here," Michael said.

"Ouch, good one. Now bugger off while I will be perfect," Adam said waving his hand.

Michael did so as he had other matters to attend to. After Adam watched him leave, he loosened his shoulders and was ready to go open the doors, but they seemed to open on their own. That made it evident to him that he was expected. Adam strolled down the long golden hallway to the massive throne room that he hadn't seen in some time. It seemed as if more was added to this room than last time, as there was a collection of furniture, such as chairs and couches, that were mainly blue but possessed a golden base. Adam could tell that their lord had some strange addiction to the color gold. As he looked around the room, the tall man he was looking for was nowhere to be seen. He expected him to be literally anywhere, as he always seemed to be anywhere.

"Adam." The loud booming voice spoke as God himself had detected Adam's presence.

"I must say, my lord, this request of yours for little ole me is a bit unexpected," Adam responded back. He was not one of those that would become a kiss ass when someone of higher power was in his presence.

"It was not something that I had originally planned to do. But it has come to my attention that a certain collection of events that have happened," God started before an ample gold light could be seen in the room, and out of the light, God emerged. "Adam, we should talk."

"Hm. Well, I have a pretty good assumption of what this is about," Adam said as he looked up at his lord and slowly walked past him.

"I figured that you would. I know that you and your legions had a bit of difficulty during the cleanse?" God asked as he sat himself down on one of the chairs and propped his head against his arm.

"I guess you could call it that. I mean, I didn't have a damn clue that any of that shit even happened. Thanks to my gracious Exorcists feeling the need to not share any important information with me right away. Seemed like a normal cleanse to me, though," Adam said with a smile as he started to think about all the demons he slayed this year.

"I see. Now you know as well as I do that I have entrusted you with the yearly cleanse responsibilities. I personally decide to stay away from any of that business as to not...intrude on others' boundaries," God stated.

"Well, that certainly is thoughtful of you," Adam responded. He still tried to keep his usual persona going but couldn't tell where this conversation was going to end.

"I have seen that you lost a decent portion of your legion in the cleanse," God spoke. Although he said it in a way where he was asking a subtle question to see if Adam would tell him the truth. God could see all and already knew the answers to his question.

"Yeah that did happen. Apparently, there was this green man that had all of my Exorcists scared. They claimed that it was a human man that did all of that. BUT I don't know how that could be true. If a human got into hell, how could he do all that?" Adam responded.

"Yes. I suppose I once thought the same thing as you. But, our original assumptions are no longer true," God responded.

"Huh? What is that supposed to mean?" Adam asked.

God got up on his feet and slowly walked over to where Adam was standing. He made a wave of his hand, and in front of Adam came a small cloud that floated in front of him. From the cloud came a picture. But it wasn't just a picture; it was a live viewing from hell itself. The cloud was like a highly advanced security camera that could see anything but couldn't be seen from the other side. It was like the perfect way to spy on someone. As Adam looked closer, he saw a large man with a large suit of armor covering 90% of his body walking down the streets of hell.

"What the hell? Okay, so they weren't bull shitting me after all," Adam said as he kept on staring at the man. Everything that was told to him by his Exorcists seemed to be true. Very big, very strong, large suit of armor. All checks out.

"I have spent some time observing this individual. He is quite a complicated specimen. On the outside, he appears to be human. But on the inside, it holds much more than what meets the eye," God spoke.

"So what are you saying. He's not a human after all?" Adam asked.

"I did not say that. He appears to have the exact characteristics to that of a human, but from what I've observed, he holds much more power than one," God added to his last point.

"Oh yeah? What kind of power is that?" Adam asked.

God didn't respond to Adam's question as he could answer it in a different way. With a wave of his hand, the image no longer showed the present but showed the past. What Adam was seeing now was a bird's eye view of the Slayer during the Extermination. Adam watched as his Exorcists were just mowed down one by one. This human man just overpowered them so quickly. The man wasn't even breaking a sweat and was ripping literal limbs off with his bare hands. "What in the literal...how in the fuck is..." he muttered as he was trying to think of something witty to say.

"That is the power I am talking about. No normal human, even the strongest humans on Earth, could not do that. This one holds superhuman strength, speed, and reflexes. He is a human that I've never even seen before until he just recently. It's almost as if he appeared out of nowhere." God said.

"So, was this the point of you summoning me? To show my legions getting absolutely bent over?" Adam asked as watching that made me a bit annoyed.

"No. For one, I figured you may have been curious," God responded.

"Well I absolutely suppose I was a bit damn curious of this mysterious green person," Adam said.

"The bigger reason was seeing how you'd react to this information," God said as he finished his last sentence.

"How I'd react to it? What did ya think? Was I going to be super jealous? I'm not a damn female who sees others as competition," Adam remarked.

"Not quite in that way. Because of my curiosity of this person...I want him to be brought to me so I can see him face to face," God said.

"Well, shit, and I thought of that same fucking idea but thought you'd be royally pissed about me wanting to bring someone from hell to heaven," Adam responded.

"Well, perhaps if you did not mention it to me firsthand. But there is a difference between me making a decision compared to you," God said.

"Because you're the holy Father. Right?" Adam guessed but figured it was a good one.

"That is correct. I created the universe as well as the rules I set in place. I can break them whenever I please," God said with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Well ain't that just the nicest thing," Adam said. And he was a little jealous of that. But if someone like him had the ability to do whatever he pleased? There's no telling what could happen.

"I just want to discover what type of person this is. If he's not human, if he's not a demon or if he's not of holy blood, then I want to figure out what he is," God said, going back to the Slayer.

"Naturally," Adam said, just agreeing with him.

"Why I was observing your reaction was to know if you, as well as anyone else associated to your legion, would keep your cool," God said.

"Keep our cool?" Adam asked making sure he heard that right.

"Yes. I do not know if you feel angry or want the need of vengeance against the man in question but I want to know that no war will break out in the realm if the man is brought here," God answered.

"Ouch. You are more worried about me than the guy himself?" Adam asked.

"I never said I wasn't. It will not be certain that he will stay neutral and not make any type of advancements," God responded.

"If he does...then can we kill him?" Adam said with a raised eyebrow as he would like to defeat this human to prove that he was the best.

"You will have the right to defend yourself. But, I would get involved myself before anything got out of hand," God responded.

"Well, that's not a definitive no. I know what I'm hoping for," Adam said, crossing his fingers.

"I do not predict it will get to that point," God responded again.

"So, are you just going to teleport him up here or something?" Adam asked.

"No, no. I have sent one of my sons to bring him here to me," God answered.

Pentagram City, sometime later

The Slayer definitely lost track of time during his latest quest through hell. He had been out for a while now but wasn't sure how long. It felt like he had been walking for at least an hour. Once again, he had no luck in finding any solutions to his current dilemma. The only thing that was somewhat eventful that occurred with him was his brief encounter with Valentino which ended up with him tossing him into his own car. But it definitely would get a lot more eventful as he came to a halt when something opened in front of him. He could see a figure emerging out of it, and behind him looked like a very bright realm. The Slayer could tell that it was a portal as he was very familiar with them.

As for the figure that came out, it was a man dressed with all white hair, dressed in a white suit that had a gold cross design covering the chest. The Slayer started to have an idea of what this person was and where he came from.

"Hello. My name is Gabriel," the angel said, introducing himself.

The Slayer could not tell the direction this would be heading. The Exterminators he killed were heavenly beings, after all. Because of this, it wasn't clear if the heavens of this world were angered at his actions.

"You may not understand what has been going on lately. But you, as well as your actions, have raised an eye. So much so that the Father wishes to speak with you." Gabriel spoke again.

The Slayer gave Gabriel the usual response that he gave to others. Nothing. He simply looked down at Gabriel and kept his fists balled up as this was another person who he did not trust.

"I assure you that I am not here to fight you. That would be an utter waste of both of our time. You can un-ball your fists. It would be best if you took this opportunity as the highest honor one can receive. You are the first...human to be given the chance to see our lord in person," Gabriel said, speaking up again. He assumed this person was a human but with all he's done, it wasn't a given fact. "This is not a trick. I would not ever step foot in this...place if it were not for the most important reason. I would also not tell someone that our Father himself would like to meet if it were not true." He added on top of his other point. Gabriel then opened a portal behind him where you could see what resided behind it. A bright and beautiful sky could be seen. "I would hope that you will join me."

The Slayer did seem skeptical about this as this seemed to come out of nowhere. From being stuck in a realm and, frankly, a universe that he never knew existed to now being asked to meet what he can assume is the creator of this universe was out of the ordinary. But he would be lying if he wasn't interested to see where this was going. So for now, he would play along. He showed Gabriel that he was joining by walking towards the portal and proceeding. Going through this one, compared to the ones he usually traveled through, was much easier. It was like walking through a door. But what was really out of the ordinary was the surface below them.

The Slayer looked down at his feet to see that they were on top of clouds. Although these were not your typical clouds because you could actually walk on them and not just fall right on through. The Slayer definitely found it an odd experience as he could never say he had stepped on clouds before. As he looked in front of him, he saw the massive golden gate that stretched far as the eye could see. It gave the effect like you were looking at an enormous body of water. No matter how hard you tried, you could never see the other side. How far the gate stretched was unknown. The big picture was that you were not getting in unless you were meant to be let in. Now the overall look of the realm was quite pretty. A bright light beamed down with sunny blue skies...the perfect day. And you would never find a day of bad weather here, but why would you expect that in literal heaven. This is supposed to be the realm where everything is perfect.

The portal closed behind him and Gabriel proceeded to walk past him and toward the gate "One moment," he said as he waved his hand in front of the gates. The gates slowly began to open and what was seen behind them was unexpected to the Slayer. From outside the gate, you could not see anything on the other side. It was like the gate acted like some type of cloak that shielded everything inside unless you were accepted to come through. Once the gates were fully opened, the massive bright utopia could be seen. It was definitely a different looked than compared to Urdak. "Let's proceed, shall we?" He said as he began to walk through.

The Slayer followed Gabriel into the gates of heaven. He officially became the first human to ever set foot in heaven. It was almost a wonder what the Slayer hadn't done yet. The realm was undoubtedly something to look at. In a way, it was similar to Hell and Earth. It did give off a city vibe. Although most of the buildings in this realm had a very unique-looking shape, not like your typical square or rectangle. It was a wonder how some of these buildings stayed up with their structural designs, but it was best not to think to much about it.

The entire realm just looked like it was resting on top of a massive cloud whose total distance couldn't be measured. As they proceeded down a golden pathway, the Slayer caught a look at the Angels that passed them by. Just like in hell, every angel that saw him following Gabriel stared at him and studied his features. It also seemed like these Angels used their wings to the fullest as they all decided to fly around instead of walk.

"Please mind their staring. It's not like we see many like you on a daily basis," Gabriel said to the Slayer. But the Slayer was used to this by now.

The realm was certainly a lot nicer on the eyes to look at, especially after being stranded in hell for many months. Although, there was the wonder of what would happen to him after this. Would he now be stranded in heaven, would be mistakenly sent to this universe's Earth, or be sent back to hell. That was a question only time could tell.

"I am also sure you will find this change of scenery of culture an improvement over what you are used to. I do not even understand how you found yourself in the predicament you are in or how you entered hell. The beings down there are sinful savages filled with the worst people to exist through the years of mankind. It's a shame that the majority of humans do not end up here. I suppose the world does not generate good people anymore. Such a shame, too," Gabriel said, making up some small talk as they proceeded forward. "Unfortunately, I have to assume that heaven may not be in your future. I still have to assume that you are not of demonic origins. You have every feature that a typical male human has. Every demon down in hell, whether they are hellborn or not, has different features that a typical human does not have. Now getting back to what I said about heaven and yourself. If someone like you was able to slay a large number of Exorcists by yourself, I have to assume that killing and fighting is something that you are quite familiar with. But, I also suppose that killing isn't always for nefarious purposes."

The Slayer knew by now that there was probably nothing waiting for him in the afterlife. The curse and pain he holds will always stick with him forever. And the big thing there would be if he actually ever died. He cannot die of old age and could only be killed by another being which would likely never happen as the trillions of beings he's killed already have failed in doing so.

After Gabriel got done creating small talk or just getting some things off his chest, the conversation stopped for a while, and it just turned into a regular escort. A lot of this trip turned into sightseeing for the Slayer, as there were plenty of different cities residing in this realm too. This entire universe was looking like even more of a cakewalk than what he was used to. All the beings in this realm had it extremely easy.

During their journey, they passed by a pretty crowded area where a lot of noise could be heard. To the Slayer's ears, it sounded somewhat familiar. It reminded him of his training with Commander Valen, AKA the Betrayer, and the rest of the Sentinels. The training helped to cure him of his insanity and helped him master how to fight with a sword or any type of melee weapon. He looked to find the source of the noise, and when he did, he stopped in his tracks to look over at some very familiar beings. The Exorcists or the Exterminators.

Gabriel did not think of what could occur when they passed the training grounds over in the distance. He then started to feel nervous as he watched the Slayer stare over at them while the Exorcists stopped what they were doing and stared back. He figured something bad would happen if he didn't step in. "Ahem. Please, if I may request, that you seek no quarrel against our Exorcists. I am aware of the actions that occurred during the cleanse, but I hope that can be pushed aside. We do not want to spill blood in this holy place. Like I said when I first encountered you, I as well as the rest of the realm, are not wishing to seek quarrels against you," he said before anything terrible could start.

The Slayer kept on staring over at the Exorcists for a little while longer before slowly turning his head back toward the direction of Gabriel. For now, he would put the past aside and not continue his rampage against them. But who knows how long that would last. They were going to start walking again until someone had to take a real close-up look at the man of the hour.

"So...this is the guy causing all the damn fuss?" Lute said as she seemed to just appear behind the Slayer and them.

The Slayer turned around to look at Lute. The Slayer wasn't sure at first if these creatures could actually talk or if they had their own language. But they definitely can speak and speak English too. The Slayer figured this one was female due to the voice and the way that it looked like it was wearing a dress of some sort. It also seemed quite annoyed.

"I suppose?" Gabriel responded as it really depended on who you asked.

Lute looked the Slayer top to bottom. "Hmph. Well, while I will admit he's quite big for a human, I don't see how he could have done all that on his own," she said as she folded her arms.

"Lute, can we please not start conflict here. I don't think it would be in anybody's interest if blood was spilled everywhere," Gabriel said as this was what he was worrying about.

"Oh don't be an absolute asshole Gabriel," this voice came from Adam as he slowly descended from the sky to the ground. The tone in his voice was his usual tone of joking around and being a smart ass. "It has been so long since someone outside of heaven's standards has visited heaven. You can't blame us for wanting to just take a little peek."

"This is already a delicate situation as it is," Gabriel responded.

"Yada, yada, yada," Adam said while making a speaking motion with his hand to mock Gabriel. He then turned towards the Slayer. "Just let me take a gander at him. Oh? You are bigger in person. Momma fed ya well, didn't she? With the looks you got, I bet you're a realllll lady killer. And if we go back a few days to the cleanse, I bet there were a few women in that bunch you killed. That was not cool by the way. Ya see we are supposed to be doing the killing, not being killed ya know? That doesn't happen a whole lot."

"No, it doesn't. And it shouldn't," Lute added as she was still annoyed.

"I COULDN'T agree more. But hey, ya know what they say? SHIT happens, am I right?" Adam said as he gave the Slayer a playful punch to his shoulder, only to be met with his praetor suit. "Dayum! That's hard as a rock. Pretty cool though, that you're all dressed up in yer little superhero suit. By the way, where the fuck did you even go about acquiring hardware like this?" He asked while subtly mocking the Slayer.

But the Slayer could quickly tell that he was being mocked. He could tell that he was not well-liked by these two as well as others in this realm, but it's not like he gave a shit about that. He just assumed they were trying to get a rise out of him but it wouldn't work. If only they knew who he really was, they would never try to mock him.

"What? No answer? Damn I didn't think I was being that mean," Adam spoke again.

"Guess he's one of those that's tough on the outside but soft on the inside," Lute added even though that was an incredibly false statement.

"For the limited amount of time that I have encountered him, I have not heard him speak. I have to believe he doesn't like to talk much," Gabriel said.

"There ain't any fucking way someone just doesn't speak. Everyone speaks in some way, shape, or form. Unless he's deaf, are you fucking deaf? Nah, never mind. That would be an incredibly stupid question if that was true," Adam said, answering his own question.

"I would have figured he would have more of a backbone to speak up and not be so shy," Lute added.

"Awwww we can't be so judgemental. Maybe he was in some freak accident that fucked up his vocal cords. That didn't happen, did it?" Adam asked to the Slayer. The Slayer just stood there, giving him no type of answer. "Nothing? Alright well fuck us I guess."

The Slayer was becoming annoyed now. His hands were not balled up in fists like they typically were. But on his left hand, you could see his fingers twitching and wagging like he was preparing to do something violent. But the Slayer was trying to keep himself under check as he would like to just kill both of these two and be done with it. Or at the very least, hit them both with a powerful punch to finally shut them up. But that could start a massive battle between himself and this realm. While he figured he could easily wipe this realm out, he didn't feel like there was a need for that. He had no grudge against this realm or the beings that inhabit it. Something that helped to push this decision forward was Gabriel, who noticed the Slayer's subtle movement.

"That is enough. Let's just move on. We do not want to keep him waiting," Gabriel said to the Slayer.

"Oh shit, that's right. How careless of me to forget that you get to meet the big man himself. Well, don't let me stop you," Adam said, taking a few steps back and out of the way.

Gabriel started to proceed forward, and the Slayer followed behind while still keeping an eye on the two of them. Once both Gabriel and the Slayer were out of earshot, Lute and Adam conversed.

"Is this some type of a joke? Some sour taste at impractical humor?" Lute said speaking first.

"Bringing that guy here?" Adam asked. He figured that was what Lute was talking about but wanted to make sure.

"OF fucking course. The guy comes out of nowhere and apparently slaughters our legions and we are just supposed to sit back and just act like we're buddies with him. And on top of this shit, he gets to meet with God face to face? We have to be getting spited on fucking purpose!" Lute exclaimed.

"You make a very good point, like always. Un-fucking-fortunately, I didn't get much of a fucking say. All I was instructed was to not attack him and not have you or any of the other Exorcists kill him while he's here," Adam responded.

"But he didn't say anything about killing him outside of heaven did he?" Lute asked.

"Hm. No, no he didn't. Are you cooking up something in that mischievous head of yours?" Adam asked with a grin.

"Maybe I am, maybe I am not. All I can say for sure is we won't forget about him," Lute responded as she gave a cold stare towards the direction the Slayer and Gabriel walked.

(Ten Minutes Later)

"We have arrived. Welcome to our Father's domain. I hope it has been made clear enough to you now that very few are allowed in here," Gabriel said as they got closer to the entrance. The massive structure was guarded by a fair amount of armed Angels, even though they weren't needed when it came to someone like God himself. The Slayer's eyes moved all around to each angel guarding the doors. They all looked quite serious and definitely made sure to watch the Slayer like a hawk, even after he proceeded inside.

"Typically, anyone that has been granted passage through the barrier would use their wings to fly up to the top, but I do not believe you possess any. You can use the lift provided over there to take you up to the top. And as I said before...you should be honored to be given such an opportunity. I wouldn't do anything to ruin it," Gabriel said, giving his last thought before exiting.

The Slayer waited for Gabriel to leave before looking back towards the lift. He slowly proceeded onwards as he walked into the lift. The lift was a mixture of white and gold, just like everything else in the realm. There was a large gold button that the Slayer assumed was the way to make the lift move. He pressed it and as he expected, it started to send him upwards to the top floor. It turned into a long ride for a lift's standard due to the massive amount the lift had to travel to get to the very top. It was like taking an elevator from floor one all the way to the top of the empire state building.

When it finally reached the top, he slowly walked off the lift and into the wide throne room. Because of the slight echo effect, the Slayer's step appeared to sound louder than normal. He looked all around for this 'God' but wasn't seeing them. But similar to Adam's situation, God was waiting in a place that he could not be seen. He always liked to make an entrance.

"Welcome." God said before he appeared behind the Slayer. "I must say. I do not normally get visitors in this place, especially those such as yourself," He said as he walked towards the Slayer.

The Slayer turned himself around to study the God of this universe. He had an unusual appearance to him. From the looks of it, he didn't have a nose or eyes...well, eyes that were attached to his head. The Slayer noticed the four disembodied, floating eyes that orbited his head. The Slayer assumed that they were his actual eyes. From there came some noticeable features of his clothing. He wore a large top hat with a golden cross on the front of the crown. The hat also casted an eerie shadow over his face where you could not see the top half of his face. The part of his face where you'd expect to find a nose, eyes, and eyebrows. He clearly was a sharp dresser as he wore a white suit with gold accents. On his shoulders were gold epaulettes with a design of white feathers that had the look of angel wings. On his hands and feet, he wore dark grey gloves and white dress shoes with gold on the tips. Attached to the epaulettes was a long, flowing cape with the inside being blue while going whiter towards the ends. It looked as if you were ascending through the clouds and going further and further into the Earth's atmosphere. The most interesting part of the cape was the design of a moving, blue galaxy. Now his skin was a pure white, as white as his teeth. He also was quite tall as he stood a few inches taller than the Slayer. But the top hat he wore made him seem taller than he actually was.

"Typically I don't try to involve myself in most things that go on around the realms. There is not a point for me to always try to interfere with others actions. Where's the fun in that? But that does not mean certain things do not turn my head. You are one of those things," God said, referring to heaven, Earth and even hell. He was about to start speaking until he noticed that the Slayer remained motionless in the middle of the room. "You know, I do possess several fascinating pieces of furniture that you are welcome to sit in. You do not have to feel the need to just stand there."

The Slayer didn't respond to that in any way. The only thing that changed from God saying that was the Slayer giving him a sterner look that was hidden from under the darkness of his helmet.

"Hm. As I expected, you are quite serious. And who am I kidding, seeing the impressive figure you have managed to sustain, you could survive standing, couldn't you?" God said, adding a little humor. He then walked over to the large white table in the room and began to lean against it. "I hope you don't take this as an intrusion of privacy but I have been observing you for some time now. As I mentioned before, I don't typically involve myself in many things that shouldn't involve me. Especially things that occur in hell. Most times, I ignore that the realm exists. I'm sure you can understand my distaste for it can't you?" God said with a smile as it was an undeniable answer of why he doesn't like hell. He then slowly started to pace toward one of the large windows while speaking again. "You don't have to worry about answering my questions. As I said. I have been observing you and haven't seen or hear you mutter anything. I'm just under the assumption that you are mute. Whether it be a vow of silence or just not having the feeling to communicate does not matter to me. It's intriguing that you can stay committed to it." He added as he started out into the wide and beautiful realm of heaven. You could see far and wide from all the way up here.

That felt rather helpful for the Slayer's case as, finally someone would not be expecting him to answer back. But the fact that this God was apparently watching him this whole time made him a bit annoyed. For this reason, he still remained where he was, keeping his eyes on God the entire time. Because of all the things that happened with him with the Maykrs, the Hell Priests, the Seraphim and the Dark Lord, beings that are considered holy or the true creators of their universes, made him extremely skeptical. He felt skeptical the entire time he had been in this realm.

"Besides my utter distaste for hell, nothing that happens in that realm is really of interest. So why would I bother to check on it? Until you came into play. A human, living, existing, and thriving in a realm that is supposed to be the afterlife for those who have sinned is improbable. I mean, sure, I suppose that one of the humans on Earth could get into hell if one of those powerful demons that can open portals between realms brings one in. But...I feel as if that's not the case with you. And with the fact that you are the only human that I've ever seen in hell exist for so long, you murdered a fair amount of the Exorcists that reside in this realm and spilled holy blood all over hell." God said, coming off like he was pissed about that and wanted some retribution for it. But that ended up not being the case. "Self-defense. Right? I cannot expect you to just sit there and take it as the Exorcists slaughtered you. And I suppose they should have been more observant to see that you are not a demon. Nevertheless, you were able to achieve such a feat all on your own. I can tell that there is a lot more to you than meets the eye. I know that you seem to hold great power that no other human holds. There is something inside of you that no one else can see. Something that has never been seen before...I can only wonder what that is." He said as his words came to a halt again. He slowly began to walk right past the Slayer to the large walkway that led outside. "I know that you had no interest in sitting. But I hope that you follow me this way."

The Slayer then turned his body to see where God was trying to lead him. Considering the fact that God was walking towards the walkway made the Slayer believe that he was trying to show him something. The Slayer decided he might as well see whatever was about to be shown to him, so he decided to start walking too. After a short walk, The Slayer and God were both at the very end of the walkway that stood hundreds of stories up. It was the highest point in the entire realm and the Slayer could definitely see far and wide. There were no railings or any type of protection in case someone tripped and fell off. I mean why would they need that? For one thing, it is heaven, and two, the realm inhabits beings who can fly. The Slayer of course, was not scared of heights in any way. Even if he couldn't survive massive falls that no mortal could survive, he still wouldn't be afraid.

"Quite the view wouldn't you say? I like to be able to overlook all that I please and when you are in a position such as mine you have to be able to observe all that goes on around you," God said to the Slayer while looking all around the massive and beautiful plains of heaven. "While things lately have been unclear to me, I know one thing for certain. You. You are not a demon. I still feel as if you are human but the power you hold seems impossible of that of human standards. I am sure that you figured it out by now that I am the ultimate creator of this universe."

The Slayer could easily figure out that by now. He knew about the idea of God and the idea of Christianity. But even knowing this. He still was uneasy about all of this. He had too many bad encounters with heavenly figures in the past and especially with the creator of a universe. Reasons like that are why he was so untrustworthy of everyone. The beings in this realm are the same.

"But...you...I would have remembered your existence. Surely you are not one to be overlooked. It leads me to believe that I may not be your creator after all. And if that is the case...then who is?" God asked as he looked towards the Slayer.

Hazbin Hotel

Angel was currently walking down the hallways of the hotel, looking for the missing Fat Nuggets. He figured the pig couldn't have gone far as he had to be SOMEWHERE in the hotel. But he always worried for the day when Fat Nuggets wandered off into hell. Usually, when he cannot find Fat Nuggets, his search usually leads him to the hotel's lobby due to it being a common place for him to end up. Angel started to walk down the staircase while looking for him. From the looks of it, everyone was down there, so he just decided to ask the very first person he saw, which was Charlie leaning against a pillar.

"Hey Princess, have you seen Nuggs anywhere?" Angel asked as he proceeded down the steps.

"Yeah, he's over there with Niffty," Charlie said, pointing over to Niffty's location.

"Oh, you took Nuggets out of my room?" Angel asked as he approached Niffty. He at least felt better knowing where he was now.

"No, of course not. He was just wandering out about the hotel. I was thinking about bringing him back but then thought of the fact that he and Keekee have never really met one another," Niffty said. She moved out of the way where you could see Fat Nuggets and Keekee on the table. Fat Nuggets was definitely more interested in meeting Keekee than Keekee was meeting Fat Nuggets. But that was probably because she was a cat. After they got familiar with each other's scent, like animals typically do, Nuggets eyes grew big, and he got into a position like he wanted to play with Keekee.

Angel let out a small laugh. "Okay, okay. I guess that's pretty fucking cute."

"Hey Husk you should come over and see this," Niffty called out.

"I don't think I'll be magically wowed by the sight of two animals interacting with one another. Seen enough of that," Husk responded while trying not to look in their general direction.

"Haven't we all," Alastor said, not giving it too much attention.

"That's right Niffty. Grumpypants over their hates fun," Angel said.

"Now yer catching on," Husk responded as he continued to shine the glass he was working on.

BANG

BANG

BANG

The three loud knocks could be heard throughout the entire hotel lobby and got everyone's attention as the last thing they expected to hear today was a knock.

"Did someone just fucking knock on the door?" Angel asked, making sure he heard right.

"Yes. Someone definitely did. Are we expecting someone, Charlie?" Vaggie said to her girlfriend as a knock at the door didn't happen very often.

"No. But the last time someone knocked at the door, it was Alastor, and look how that turned out," Charlie said, using Alastor as an example.

"Fucking amazing," Husk said sarcastically.

"Husker, my good man, I couldn't agree more," Alastor said.

"Point being. The last time that happened someone came wanting to help out the hotel. And when that happened, we got the great opportunity to meet all of you!" Charlie said, referring to Alastor, Husk, and Niffty. "So with that logic in mind, this could be someone else wanting to show support or someone else wanting to stay at the hotel," she said as she walked towards the doors to open them.

"Heh, I doubt it," Angel said to Niffty. He had a smug look on his face for a moment...but it was only for a moment. As Charlie opened the door, it wasn't just one figure standing in the doorway, it was several. And the sight of them made his heart sink to the floor.

"Well, hello their princess," Vox said to Charlie, still standing in the doorway. To his right stood Valentino, who looked really pissed, and to his left stood Velvet, who had a pure sassy look on her face. "It has come to my attention that there has been some conflict between our two parties. Princess...we should really talk."

Charlie had started to become nervous now. She didn't know how this was going to turn out as there had been a lot of heated conflict between the members of the hotel and the three V's. The big difference this time...the Slayer was several realms away and wouldn't stop Valentino this time.

(Many, many, many apologies that this took so long to get out. Another busy month for me. I hope the chapter was worth the wait, as I hope to get the next one out faster.)
