"You wanna tell us about this case, Jody?" Dean questioned as he gathered an armful of plates from a cabinet, moving to set them around the table while Sam set the silverware next to each plate.

"Sam and I were in town yesterday when I noticed one of the vehicles on our missing persons' board..." Jody began, offering a spoonful of stew to Castiel who accepted it willingly.

"We decided to tail it, and we followed it out to this little fishinf cabin by a lake... The driver definitely wasn't a Lillian Sumners..." Jody continued, smiling when Castiel gave her an enthusiastic thumbs up as he swallowed the bite of stew.

Dean and Sam finished setting the table when the doorbell rang, Castiel eagerly volunteered to go answer it leaving the others with Jody. Dean looked up at Jody sheepishly when she offered him a spoonful of stew.

Castiel returned a moment later with Donna on his heel, looking wide-eyed, no doubt having been the victim of one of Donna's notorious bear hugs. Dean bit his tongue to keep from smiling at the angel's expression.

He and Sam gracefully accepted rib crushing hugs from Donna before she set her sights on Jody, hugging her tightly and pressing a kiss to Jody's cheek to which Dean and Castiel shared a look of surprise at.

"Don't give me that look you two, Sam told me you're dirty little secret," Jody chided playfully catching Dean and Castiel looking at her and Donna.

"Hey, no judgment here... Just surprised is all, wondering when this happened," Dean responded waving a hand at Donna's arm wrapped around Jody's waist. Castiel moved to stand beside Dean, taking his hand in his own.

"Probably around the same time as you boys, not a lot to do during a pretty nasty slew of rainstorms," Donna chimed in winking at Dean knowingly, Dean turned and threw a bitchface in Sam's direction.

"Well, I think it's very sweet," Castiel offered smiling at Jody and Donna as he hugged Dean against his side. Dean put his arm around Castiel's shoulders, smiling sincerely at Jody and Donna.

-_-

After dinner and dessert, Dean, Castiel and the others cleaned up the dining table and kitchen before all gathering around the living room.

Dean and Castiel sat together on one end of the couch, Sam taking up the other side as Jody and Donna took up the loveseat opposite from the couch.

"You mentioned you and Sam following some missing person's car into the woods, what made you think this was our sorta thing?" Dean prompted looking up at Jody.

"Well, for starters the person in the car wasn't the woman who owned it, and he definitely didn't look human..." Jody answered giving the guys a knowing look.

"We talking vamps?" Dean asked excitedly, not even trying to hide his enthusiasm. Castiel looked at him lovingly, Dean glanced at his hands in his lap unable to meet Castiel's gaze.

"Sam said it might be a nest... I thought after that last nest we took out, they'd be a bit smarter about snatching folk," Jody responded with a frown. Donna squeezed her hand reassuringly.

"First thing in the morning, we'll check it out," Dean announced stretching as he stood from the couch, Castiel following him with a stretch of his own.

"You two can share the pull-out here, I'll get the air mattress for you Sam... I don't think Claire or Alex's beds are big enough for ya'," Jody smiled as she got up from her seat.

-_-

"Oh man, it's been too long since we've had a case... I don't know if I'll be able to sleep," Dean exclaimed as he helped Castiel unfold the pull-out. Jody had given them some sheets and pillows for it.

"It's only been three weeks, Dean... But I understand you're enthusiasm," Castiel offered a smile, going about pulling the fitted sheet on over the flimsy mattress.

Dean shook out the top sheet and tossed down the pillows, clasping his hands together in approval at the now made up bed. He turned up a mischievous smile at Castiel standing on the opposite side of the pull-out.

"You wanna test this bad boy out?" Dean grinned at the angel as he began to strip off his shirt and jeans. Castiel watched as Dean's beautifully tanned skin was revealed, wishing Dean could be in various states of undress all the time.

Castiel slowly shrugged off his trenchcoat followed by his tie and suit jacket, kicking off his shoes and dress slacks, blushing when he caught Dean staring at him.

"What if Sam, Jody or Donna come out here for something?" Castiel hesitated nervously, looking past Dean at the entryway into the living room.

"Then you'll just have to be good and stay quiet," Dean smirked climbing into the bed, Castiel crawled in beside him pulling the sheet over them as they lied down together.

-_-

The smell of sizzling bacon and fresh coffee stirred Dean from a deep sleep, Castiel was nestled into his side under the covers. He was torn between getting up for breakfast and staying cozy in bed with his angel.

"Good morning Dean," Castiel greeted, voice rough from sleep. He blinked his eyes open to look up at Dean, who had been watching him sleep soundly. Dean smiled down at him.

"Let's go have breakfast, your stomach growling woke me up..." Castiel admitted, running a hand over Dean's bare chest and down his abs, stopping just shy of his crotch.

The two of them untangled themselves from one another, quickly dressing before making their way into the kitchen to see Donna and Jody by the stove as they cooked food.

"Morning ladies," Dean greeted cheerfully as he stepped over to the dish cabinet and pulled out plates for everyone, save for Castiel, who would probably only be drinking coffee.

Castiel took a seat at the table, nodding a thanks to Donna when she handed him a mug of hot coffee. Dean finished setting the table as Sam joined everyone in the kitchen.

"I did some digging on that cabin, it's completely abandoned... Supposedly," Sam announced as he took up an empty seat across from Castiel.

"Perfect for a nest, you could easily dump bodies into the lake. We'll eat fast and go check it out," Jody answered placing a plate full of bacon and eggs onto the table.

"Cas and I could go scope it out, call for back up if we find anything? If it is a nest, I'd sure hate to scare 'em off with a load of people," Dean offered glancing around the room.
