As Mikoto rounded the corner, what she saw amazed her to the core. It was like watching a martial arts movie with a well-choreographed action scene. Mr. tall-guy was wiping them off the floor . Tall, buff-grown-ass men were getting tossed or pushed or slapped, one poor guy had his face slammed down on the cold pavement. He was currently crying in a fetal position near Mikoto's feet.

Seven of them remained.

Seven of them were continually being pummeled by cool maneuvers and whatnot. A spin here, a well-placed kick that Mikoto was sure to crack some ribs. Poor man, that one. Mr. tall guy likely wasn't even at a disadvantage.

He's doing fine kicking their asses.

No esper powers involve, just pure skill of the physical body.

Suddenly, Crying-guy twitched. Mikoto didn't even need her radar to know.

She reacted fast. Slapping the gun out of his hand.

Reinforcement arrives at the same time. Them and Mr. Tall-guy, all saw her tossed the gun somewhere away from their fallen comrade, conclusions were drawn. About 3 of the 15 or so men displayed esper abilities, battle stances, and battle faces are on. Mikoto could have explained that she didn't 'hurt' their friend nor had she had any ill intentions but she had a feeling that would be a moot point. Instead, she was prepared to take them all on, sometimes, talking is unnecessary. Feet wide, the center of gravity lowered, and her game face on.

And then she was off.

To a different direction that is.

Yes, not her style, and it's not her that was running, she was just on for a ride it seems. Also who knew getting carried like a sack of potatoes was not only disorienting but painful? As Mr. tall guy was running, his shoulders continuously dug deep into her stomach with every bounce.

There is something wrong here.

"W-What? Put me down!"

"Not a chance! Not until we're safe!" If anything he even sped up his running. Mikoto can hear the distant yells for them to stop from the black-clad men down the road. This is dangerous, it's never good running on an ice-covered pavement with another person on.

"I AM safe! I CAN take them all on! I CAN run on my own! Put me DOWN!"

"You don't, hah, know, hah, that!"

"I DO know that!"

"Now you're just being, hah, stubborn!"

Mikoto lost it. She released a low voltage charge. Not enough to render a person unconscious but enough to make the muscle spasm. He crumbled as was expected and Mikoto was prepared for the downfall so she managed to save herself from bruises. She awkwardly held the guy by his waist so he won't accidentally damage his head. Mikoto was perfectly capable of holding him by the waist, but dang he is heavy for a male human.

He was slowly coming to while Mikoto kept her senses open for any of the hostilities but none came. It seems that they lost them for now, somehow.

Mikoto magnetized them up to the roof of some diner. As soon as they touched down, the guy was all on her, hovering in annoyance. Introductions commenced that way, without actually revealing their names. The stare down a few minutes ago was akin to shallow water compared to the stare down now. The tension was deep and the only noise to distract them was the sound of ventilators of the diner, they would probably stare each other down to submission even if their eyes turned red and all shriveled up.

Mikoto felt the strain of her eyes so she had to cheat a bit.

"Who were they? Why were they attacking you?"

The guy blink then groaned before crumpling on the floor. Mikoto smirked, she believes she has won their impromptu game.

"I think they are from a yakuza called Greensneks." Mikoto knew she had an incredulous expression "Awful name, I know. They were trying to recruit me for weeks now. So some of my afternoons ended up to be physically active." He glanced at her. "You've been a fresh sight . . . . As it were." He huffs "And then you go and use a taser on me when I'm just trying to help."

Mikoto ducked her head and looked away, totally embarrassed at her earlier actions now that she had time to view it from another angle. Her temper always compromises her interpersonal relationships and she has come a long way but she's still working on it.

"Yo-You recovered pretty fast though, you have a good physical condition . . ." she tried to jest uneasily.

Those bands of merry men must have a detection-type esper in their employ because it was not long before men were swarming after them on the rooftop. It wasn't even 5 minutes yet! Mikoto shoved a metal rod she had ripped somewhere into his hands.

"Hang on to it! We're going to fly!"

Mikoto held back a smirk as he screamed his ass off.

The two of them had been running away' which was not Mikoto's style at all. If it was up to her, she would have fried them a while ago, non-fatally of course. But Mr. Tall guy insists that they have to just avoid them and eventually, they would run out of fumes.

As it was for the past hour, they haven't and she was fed up and just resorted to what she does best. Fry people, ask questions after.

"They're here!"

A zap. A thump followed. The sound of another body hitting the pavement had Mikoto sighing again.

"You know, I'm terrified and terrified of you."

"You saying that twice certainly does deliver'' Mikoto replied sarcastically, a deadpan expression on her face, side-eyeing Mr. tall guy whose name she never did ask. His expression though was the total opposite of his words. He was grinning like a maniac on steroids.

When he found out that she was an electro-master, he nodded to himself, weirdly proud that his hunch of her being strong was right, though he meant differently, this brunette may look slender at a first glance but when he had bumped into her, he could tell that her muscles are well-developed.

"Strong people excite me!"

"Please worry about your disposition first."

"They're hardly a threat with you here. Why worry?"

"Hey, Look here! If a buffer is what you think I am, I could leave you to deal with them alone."

"You could. I wouldn't even blame you. You've helped enough, thanks by the way. I've dealt with them alone before, nothing will change really."

Mikoto turned the other way. Debating more furiously if she should just leave him to his devices.

Oh but well, he IS capable of defending himself but there is some sort of urge in her that makes her stay and protect.

To help.

Shokuhou may be onto something when she declared she had a hero complex.

"When I see the leader of these morons, I'm gonna end him!" Mikoto promised.

"Get in line. How dare they involve Shiraishi!" he growled.

"Hey, that's why we're going to go kick some of their sorry behinds and rescue your girlfriend."

"She's not"

"What?"

"She's not my girlfriend. They just thought she was. Must be because of her personality."

"Oh," Mikoto could only mutter. Personality? "Such misfortune" Truly, getting kidnapped for something that's just mere speculation . . . How did she accumulate such bad luck? She's talking like Touma, isn't she? Whatever. The girl had some awesome bad luck huh.

"What? I didn't catch what you said"

"Nothing"

Minutes ago, Tall-guy received a phone call, stating that 'they' have 'his girlfriend', instructing him to go to this hotel, immediately or else.

Naturally, he was enraged.

Mikoto just thinks it was all so cliche. Sure, go for the 'girlfriend'. These guys have no originality. Why don't they go for the dog? 100% guarantee to those who have life insurance that they can support their families post mortem. At least they can still be responsible.

Maybe, there is a reason not to go for the dog, huh.

Naturally Mikoto 'helped' (not being nosy) and accompanied him to the location which was a hotel. She wanted to save the girl too (maybe this was the unconscious reason she decided to stick around him) and she's pretty pissed that these certain groups of morons were following exactly what's in their script - involving innocents. It would be nice if some went off tangent even once. Or twice.

And Mikoto was supposed to help Judgement with the missing kid too (she promised Kuroko!), Shiawase Aoi, and now, it had become kind-of-a-mess because of a chance encounter. She regrets nothing though, at least this girl had clues, Shiawase Aoi had neither clues of who kidnapped her.

Kuroko sighed in relief when Mikoto said she can't help at the moment and sighed again when Mikoto informed her that she's helping someone get 'someone' back. Her onee-sama had always been a busy body. It's one of her defining traits.

"You are a civilian onee-sama, hand me the details and I'll keep everyone posted on her too."

Mikoto sent her the details. Duly ignoring the 'daily' reminder that she's not a part of any rule-abiding organization. Eh, she breaks rules, she doesn't like them much and certainly doesn't like to follow commands. Doing things her way guarantees more immediate action and fewer annoying rules to carefully sidestep.

Ergo, no to joining said groups. Associating, maybe.

"You must be extra chummy with her for these people to warrant kidnapping her to get to you."

"She's super friendly and she brings me food she cooked," he said with a confused face. When he met Mikoto's questioning gaze, he raised his brows. "What? She told me she likes to cook for me. I don't have the heart to deny her food."

Mikoto didn't believe in prayers but she silently prayed for the girl's heart. It was clear she had feelings for this boy. She didn't know if she hoped this guy would notice her or she would get her bearings and look for another person.

Still, Mikoto can't help but feel pity for the girl and sympathize with her. Had that not been what she felt a year ago? Touma magnetized her attention because of feats no one can explain. That and she hates losing to something so unexplainable, she figured, if she kept challenging him she can get enough data on how his ability works and subsequently devise a plan to win.

The boy was painfully oblivious to all the attention he was getting from all the girls, Mikoto included. Touma sees her as a friend and that's it.

Even osmium couldn't hold a candle to his denseness.

Well, Mikoto's just glad she realized her true feelings for what it is. The time spent away from him due to school work gave her the right space for thinking such things. She realized that her 'crush' was just glorified hero worship but that still didn't change the fact that she cares for him. He was her friend after all.

Mikoto was sucked out of her thoughts when several footsteps thundered down the corner.

Then the classic entrapment tactic happened. A vein throbbed against Mikoto's temple.

Mikoto stood back to back with Tall-guy. In front of them, brandishing a variety of weapons were ten people on each side.

Mikoto got to work. Releasing a wide cast of an electric net over their heads. It's better to knock them down faster than they could blink for convenience.

No one was expecting her to do that so they all got caught in it. Soon, twenty heavy thuds were heard as their muscles spasmed uncontrollably, rendered useless as the electricity overwhelmed their electric impulses. Mikoto grinned in self-satisfaction. Has she ever mentioned that she thinks her ability is so convenient at times?

They haven't done their research, have they?

Several thuds later, the two were sidestepping the twitching bodies and continued but after a few turns, they found themselves in the same situation as before. This time, they have almost twice as many. Where did they find these idiots?

Mikoto let loose a few sparks as a warning.

There was a stalemate for a moment before her companion pounced. It kickstarted the chaos that she was already yelling apologies to the hotel's management on the back of her head. Her temporary partner blew devastating moves one after another.

It was then that she knew that Tall-guy had been holding back a while ago during the small scuffle back on that alleyway, because this time, he was using one of the most deadly arts, widely recognized as the most effective striking art in the martial world. Muay Thai. It was probably the knowledge that they threatened one of his friends that made him a bit more brutal.

Mikoto winced when he broke a leg.

Mikoto can kind of see why the group wanted to recruit him. He would be a fine addition, his fighting prowess would give them an edge on a fight. On a hand-to-hand.

Mikoto for her part took precise and well-controlled electric bolts. That ensures they would stay numb and unconscious for a while.

That's when her phone rang. Mikoto surveyed the field for a moment, decisively declaring that she can answer one phone call. Just to reject them of course.

Her heart rate accelerated faster as she saw the name of the caller, a whole lot faster than what a measly tussle ever could. But it also spiked her annoyance. Leave it to Shokuhou to have the worst timing ever or the best, depending on the mood. Mikoto was sure this call was to purely annoy her though. Shokuhou does that sometimes.

She had to cut Shokuhou quickly, she had to act overly annoyed and not overly giddy.

"Shokuhou! Call later! I'm busy!"

Mikoto managed to throw a couple of half-hearted attacks here and there before the phone rang again. Mikoto closed her eyes. Of course, Shokuhou decided to be persistent today. Of course.

"I said later! Get it in your thick skull! I'm busy!"

While Mikoto spoke, she made sure to blast some electricity somewhere to project the urgency of her situation somehow. Then she hung up.

Shokuhou called a third and fourth time, all of which Mikoto growled at the phone. Meanwhile, her situation truly worsened but nothing she couldn't handle. More people poured in the hallway, there's no way they won't catch the attention of some of the hotel staff and patrons with the chaos brewing. Then again, where are they coming from? It's like they're giving the bacteria a run for its money with the way they were multiplying.

Mikoto found the opportunity to answer the 4th call, narrowly missing a severe blow aimed at her ribs but Shokuhou unceremoniously hung up on her. Mikoto was now genuinely annoyed at that. She has little to no patience to deal with a mischievous Shokuhou Misaki given the afternoon she just had.

Mikoto yelled "Out of the way!" before magnetizing Tall-guy by his belt buckle and callously yanked him back to her side. Both he and his opponent blink, both in confusion but soon that confusion turns to horror as they all watch the electro master's hands crackle with electricity.

A minute later, Tall-guy stood panting next to her, staring at her with enlightened eyes. "I think we can all agree that you kick ass very, very nicely."

Mikoto snorted, she remembered the leg he broke. "You're not too bad yourself."

They waited for a couple more minutes, just to see if another batch showed up. Nothing. Good. Now, she has an incorrigibly pesky person to call. If someone shows up unannounced, she can't be blamed.

After setting up a com device inside her right ear, the one she got from Kuroko, then called the other level 5. It just occurred to Mikoto that Shokuhou, maybe, has something important to tell, if she's this persistent, just maybe. But she didn't let the girl have the first word in. "I'll pinch you right where you are if I could! Decidedly, I have the right to, Shokuhou."

It was a promise. The moment she sees her in the flesh...

"Ara Misaka-san, that's provocative of you but you don't have to."

Shokuhou's reply made Mikoto choke on nothing as if she had never drank water before and now she's trying too hard to drink copious amounts in one gulp and then some ended on the other pathway.

Oh, she will, alright. She will pinch this blonde. She will.

Tall guy glanced at her in concern.

"Consider us even given the frustration you left me with this morning"

Mikoto's blood surged up, she felt lightheaded and so alert at the same time. She was flustered beyond belief and it was the misfortune of a guy that paid the price.

A member of the gang managed to surprise them and collided with her just as they were turning to a corner, and with Mikoto in such a state, she was like an automatic taser. The man spasmed and sizzled before dropping unconscious on the floor. Tall-guy stared for a moment before laughing his ass off when he recognized the groaning man.

Mikoto scowled, a bit disturbed that she hadn't noticed him approaching with her radar. There is something wrong with her today. Someone or something kept sneaking up on her, it's alarming. Maybe she should get a checkup or something. Her detection ability is not working all that well.

Or maybe she's distracted all day today.

"Why-why'd you say it like that?!"

"We both know it's the truth, Misaka-san. Should I have said otherwise?"

Mikoto had to pause at that. Yes, Shokuhou was right. She knows what she did to Shokuhou this morning warrants revenge. But….

"...YES!" Mikoto blurted. "Yes! You should!"

"Oh? I did use proper diction if that's what your piss about~"

Mikoto felt a vein throbbed. Shokuhou and her deliberate misdirection tactics.

"That's not-I don't-you know what?" Misaka sighed exasperatedly "That's fair, we're even now."

"So can we converse like civilized life forms or would you like to growl more?"

Mikoto sighed again and Shokuhou took that as a cue to talk.

"Now, I'm assuming you're looking for the same person I'm about to secure. The person you're looking for is on the 15th floor, room 5. No bodyguards but there's an electronic bypass and we all know how sneaky you can be with them." Misaka hummed. Inwardly, her mind traveled several kilometers per second. How did she know? If this was why she was calling, she should have said so from the get-go. Where is she? What connection does she have with Shiraishi-san, the kidnapped girl? was this all staged? Oh wait, she's Shokuhou. Mikoto can ask questions later.

"She's not harmed at the moment but at the rate of trouble you keep generating, they would probably figure out why you're here and move her. So best be on your way Railgun~."

Shokuhou is definitely in this building. That explains why she knew some of Mikoto's activities. But what is she doing here?

Mikoto started to run as she remembered that they had been causing quite a ruckus a moment before. She had little time before the Greensneks boss would catch on and make his escape. She can't let that happen.

It was a few seconds before Shokuhou spoke again, a good few seconds to cover quite a bit of distance. "Though you don't have to worry about that, I'll handle it.~" Misaka stumbled to a halt and there was a pained yelp as Tall-guy bumped into her and was shocked by her involuntary reflex. Misaki snickered. Damn, she got her. "Once you have her, there's a limo and a valet on the third-floor basement. You can't miss it. Then after she's safe, come back to me."

Come back to me.

Come back to me...

Come back to me.

Mikoto's heart thudded heavily underneath her ribs.

Damn if those words didn't sound so sweet just then.

Mikoto shook her head. Shokuhou had to have something planned after this whole kidnapping.

"I imagine this is not for free. What's the catch?"

"Promise me you'd do as I say? Pretty please?"

"No!"

This time, Tall-guy looked at her with a worried expression. "Hey, what's going on?"

Mikoto covered her phone to placate him. He was getting tense because of her. "No, no, it's nothing. Come on, we should be on our way."

"If you say so."

They started running again.

"I haven't asked yet! Don't cut me down that fast~"

Gah! Shokuhou is lucky she can't see her right now! She's 6 pinches in and counting.

"No, I'm not gonna agree to whatever you'll suggest. Give it a rest." Misaka replied, a bit breathless but still perfectly fine holding a conversation while running at a fast pace.

"Seeing as your answer is a no, wanna guess what mine is?"

Knowing her, Mikoto just let it be and started to run faster, prompting her companion to pick up the slack too. With his long legs, it wasn't that difficult for him. Tsk!

As they ran, Mikoto can't help but wander what orders would Shokuhou demand of her if she ever agreed to do one thing for her.

Mikoto can't help but sigh. Shokuhou is being difficult today. But still, she can't help but feel happy. One can't help but adore a baby even when they're difficult to manage. This excursion of hers is certainly not boring (still milder than what she faced last year) by any means but Shokuhou just makes it more lively than it should have.

After a brief elevator ride, Mikoto arrived at the aforementioned room, she braced herself for what's behind her. If Shokuhou's information was right, and it almost always is, they will see Shiraishi-san soon enough. Before she opened the door (electronic bypass may as well be invisible), she gave a nod to him.

What greeted her were legs.

Powerful muscular and sinewy quads.

Connected in the middle with a very, very, very, discernable bulge.

"Ng-ngh- Wha-What...urk..eugh.."

Mikoto's eyes moved up instinctively. She wanted to see whose head this body was connected to. It was an unconscious decision, a human instinct to see what creature those well-defined sinews belong to. To see if something or someone is a threat to oneself. Self-preservation had always been one of the human's best and worst traits.

Oh, he is tall, alright.

On top of a half a meter platform.

Mikoto wished her eyes could have been slower. She should have admired the effort it took to have those legs in that shape. Slow enough for her whole thought process to reboot successfully and commandeered her out of this room, to protect her from the discomfort of seeing a half-naked man with a bunny headband.

Alas, she was not so lucky.

She wished she didn't see the bulge or the fact that this very fit, very sinewy gentleman only had on a very, very, very, short black shorts supported by suspenders and nothing else, or the cute bunny ears that adored his buzz cut hairstyle. The look was completed with a very well-maintained mustache that curls upwards. Tha's gotta be expensive.

Oh, and there was a cute black bow tie on his neck.

Mikoto had the mental capacity to shift her thoughts to another person, this one is a beautiful ingenious maiden with a fucking smirk on her plump lips.

"Shoku-Shoukuhou Misaki!" she bellowed, the explosion of anger made her momentarily forget the confused gentleman in front of her.

"Erm, quiet close ma'am,-" his baritone voice drolled "-but my name is Shouji Mitsuki. Table for two?"

Even if Misaki was silent on the other line, Mikoto could hear the blonde guffaw.

Thump, thump, thump.

"He-hey, Stop banging your head. It's not so bad!"

"That's because you started 'bro-ing' with Shouji-san! I, on the other hand, just got pranked!"

"Of course I would!" Tall-guy ignored her second statement. "-Have you seen his pecs? Or his biceps? Or his fucking QUADS?! I have to know his training regimen! His diet! What do you think his man cave looks like?. Oh, I'll bring my dad back there, he'll love it there! The Concept of that cafe is one sick idea."

If that was even a cafe. Mikoto hadn't got a good look around the place but it didn't look like an innocent 'cafe' where half naked men strutting around carrying trays. Of food or another, she didn't know.

"Oh, good Phineas Quimby, is this what has your philosophy had in mind? Ugh. Do I have to beg Shokuhou to erase my memories? I think I've seen it all..."

"ARE you kidding? We've only been there for 5 freaking minutes! We haven't seen Shouji-san's other bros! It will be a blast!"

Her temper flared. Of all of Shokuhou's pranks! She was caught off guard so thoroughly this time, it's embarrassing. She was expecting a scared girl not a 6 or so foot-muscular guy with a nice mustache. "Five freaking minutes I don't need in my life! I don't need to see them ever again! In fact, I don't want to ever see that lump of meat again! I've wasted 5 minutes!"

"Uh-oh,-" Tall guy looked horrified, looking behind her back.

Mikoto felt a chill. "He's right behind me isn't he?" The shame slammed into her so hard she could barely breathe as she turned around and found Shouji-san wearing a forlorn expression. It was so disconcerting, like looking at a horrible photoshop picture of a bunny head attached to a silverback's body in a morbid, sorry picture depicting sadness.

Mikoto felt a whole boulder thrown at her. If someone were to do so in real life, she would welcome it.

"Oh, I-I,... I was just about to give you my card, because maybe...you said you were in a hurry...I thought maybe you'll come back when you're not busy…I'm so sorry."

Tall-guy was quick to grab onto Shouii-san's card calling after him that he'll certainly be back with friends. Following him back to his work, spewing comforting words. Shouji gave an embarrassed wave as he ran back to his workplace.

Mikoto felt so bad she vowed to visit Shouji-san with apology flowers and chocolates, maybe a cake? She really should control her temper. Yes, she felt several emotions at once. Yes, she felt overwhelmed but that was no excuse to blow up on someone and hurt another. Damn, she's so pathetic!

Then she remembered her blonde friend who had set up the whole thing. Oh, she was going to squeeze her.

Speaking of.

"Oops?" the mental out's melodious voice came through the com device. What the fuck. So she had just listened to all that conversation? She had just listened to Mikoto make an actual douche bag of herself? And she didn't say anything? Mikoto's face burned. She's a horrible person. The worst! Yes, it was Shokuhou who staged all that but it was her that reacted. Horrible, horrible human being that she is.

The electromaster just wants to curl up or hurl someone. She groaned/whimpered. Who cares if Shokuhou hears her. In fact, who cares about Shokuhou?!

"What troublesome situation you were in eh, Misaka-san?~Misaka-san?"

"..."

"I'll make time for you so ask me when you'll visit Shouji-san okay? We'll go together"

"..." she would? That- that's unexpectedly reasonable for someone like Shokuhou.

"Misaka-san, come on. You have a girl to save. You can apologize later."

"..." ah, of course, she has her priorities and she is right.

Even when they can't see each other, Shokuhou knew what Mikoto's expression was. Dang it. "Misaka-san, stop pouting. Look, I could wipe his memory right now or you get moving and we'll apologize to him later. I promise. Level 5's honor"

It's so like her to make Mikoto move in a roundabout way. Honestly, threatening to tamper with his mind? Mikoto knew it was an empty threat, still, it got her moving just the same.

Mikoto groaned. "Level 5's honor my ass.-" that's just a load of bullshit.

But

She trusts Shokuhou.

Shokuhou giggled. "Yes, I know. We don't conform to metaphorical close-walled concepts such as honor. So are you going now?"

Mikoto should disagree with that but she just let it go. "Yeah, yeah. I'm going. So where? For real this time Shokuhou."

"So your girlfriend is sure she's here? I mean, this is a very unassuming door. No guards too. Did they just plan to hand her over and waste our travel fare?"

"Excuse you, I got us here. If a fare is what we're talking about, you should be paying me. And yes, if she lied again, she would get a heavier punishm- huwaa!"

Mikoto jumped as her thoughts caught up with her, accidentally releasing a small bolt of electricity on the wooden door. A small wisp of smoke came from the black spot above the electronic keypad beside the door frame. Both of them stared at it. One with increasing confusion and one getting more and more flustered the more she recalled "girlfriend".

"She-Shokuhou-is not- she isn't mine! Don't spout such wild unnecessary things!"

"Huh? With the way you two were bickering- you're reactions, I mean- I just thought you guys were deeper, you know?"

Mikoto turned away from him, her throat strangely clogged up, like she swallowed something dry and big and can't follow it up with water fast enough. She knew she had some sort of attraction to the blonde but she didn't think it was romantic. Or is it?

Misaka Mikoto and Shokuhou Misaki are good examples of contrasting personalities. It was one of the reasons of their dislike of the other at first. It prevented Mikoto from seeing the physical beauty of the blonde and a good deterrent from actively learning who she really is inside that savagely-mischievous facade. But when or where it matters the most- Mikoto smiled a bit- they were wholly aboard on one ship, captained by the both of them.

Well, she would have to put a raincheck on brooding on that particular level 5. She's glad that she ended their call a few minutes ago,.there is no telling what Shokuhou would do after hearing that. Probably deny it strongly? Or join playfully?

"We'll have to save Shiraishi first."

For now, they had a girl to save.

Recognizing that Mikoto was in no mood to talk about her 'not girlfriend, Tall-guy nodded and opened the door gently. There was a yelp and a trembling feminine voice reached out to them.

The door revealed a spacious room. The whole wall directly in front of the door is made of glass and it showcases the ginormous energy consumption of Academy City in a single night. In the center of the room are 2 sofas arranged in L-shape with a wooden small table in the center.

"Hello? Who's there?"

Tall-guy looked confused and gestured to Mikoto that he didn't recognize the voice. Mikoto shot a lost glance back at him. If he didn't recognize that voice, then whose is it? Did they get the wrong room? No. Mikoto triple-checked the number. If Shokuhou led them to another prank, she really would be getting it.

"Hi..? Where are you? I'm Kashima Yuuji."

Huh, so that's his name.

"Kashima-san?!" another voice perked up, one with a bit higher pitch than the other.

"Shiraishi?"

"Oh thank god! They're here to save us!"

"THANK YOU!"

"Where are you guys?"

"We don't know? We're blindfolded ."

Mikoto already found their electrical signatures and motioned for Kashima to follow her. To the right of the living room, there was a trap door on the side of the wall near the kitchen.

"Please move away from the walls or any "

uhh, I lied? The story just took on a different path while I was typing. Misaki will be up next chapter. The chapter was getting too long and I had to cut this one.

Sorry this took so long, between work and a few other personal projects, and family, I have been busy. I also got hooked by a million+ harry potter fanfic. Took me a week to read that one, then I have to my other Animes and mangas to catch up to. Then I got hooked by another AOT fic. And another (several) RWBY fics and a very lovely Youjo Senki fic of 300K+ words. Like I said. Busy.
