As Lucy got ready as Erza was going to be heading over, she was sure that she was going to hear all the new gossip - but there was something that she had to let her know. Something that Lucy needed her to know - but at the same time, there was also the fact that it shouldn't be said because well, she didn't want Erza to go ahead and fight someone. Especially since it was someone she knew - Hibiki. She knew that Erza and her friends really liked meeting the trio - but they don't know them like she does. She was sure that if Erza found out that someone did something like that to her - then it would be the end. Erza was the big sister to Lucy and right now - she didn't need the sister protecting her, she wanted her best friend to talk to.
Lucy was happy that she was going to be leaving that school for good and transfer to the same school as Erza - where she knows people and where only a few people know her. This was the start that Lucy needed. Something to keep her mind in one place. Just then Lucy spotted the Red Head Erza - outside the house.
"ERZA!" Lucy shouted as she ran closer over to the girl.
Erza turned around and looked at Lucy - a smile was plastered across her face. "Lucy!" She ran over and hugged the blonde.
"Ah! Too tight!" Lucy whined as she did enjoy Erza's hugs, but sometimes they were just a bit too tight. Once Erza released Lucy from the hug - "Come on in!"
The two girls made their way inside and sat down in the kitchen, where there was some light snacks to eat and some soda to drink. The two girls talked about the school year was. Lucy couldn't wait to finally be in all of the action that happened. Learning about how Natsu and Gray fight - at every second that they weren't in class - or even at school, seemed a bit weird. There had to be a bit more to why those two fight so often. One would think that they were Fire and Ice with the way that they were fighting.
"So, what happened with you at your school? You never told me the real reason why you transferred over to the piano..." Erza frowned after she took a bit from a cupcake.
"Oh that - there's no real reason. I like the piano..."
"There is a reason and you are terrible liar."
"You have to PROMISE that you won't do anything..."
"I have a feeling that I'm about to go do something with the way you are telling me I shouldn't."
"Well, it happened Two years ago - "
"Why are you just telling me about something that happened so long ago now!?"
"For this reason! Erza, you are my best friend and I don't want you to do something that you might regret because it really wasn't all that important, and I'm over it now."
"Lucy, tell me, please what happened.."
"It was Hibiki. Two years ago - he asked me out and it turned out he was just using me to get first place - and then dumped me. Ever since then I chose to just play the piano."
"Hibiki...dumped you after getting first place...I'M GOING TO KILL HIM!"
"Erza! This is WHY I didn't tell you! Please, you just can't go and hunt him down just to hurt him for something that happened two years ago. Besides, it's fine. I'm going to finish school with you and everyone and I don't have to worry about what other people think or those who think I was dumb enough to believe that Hibiki and I were going to last."
"Lucy, I want you to know - that not all guys are like Hibiki, I promise. You will find your prince charming. Even if it will take a long time. But you will find him."
The two girls ended up going up to Lucy's recording studio for Erza to hear some of the new songs that Lucy had just finished recording.
"I have a song, but I need a male to sing the main vocals." Lucy sighed as she didn't know anyone.
"Did someone request a male singer~" A voice said - one that only belonged to a certain person.
Lucy turned around and looked at the person - it was Bickslow. "Well, Yeah, but your voice isn't something that would work, I heard you sing before, and a dog will do better," She teased.
"Ow~ My heart~" Bickslow frowned - of course it was one those fake frowns that you could spot a mile away.
"You are better at guitar than singing. I might need your skills though soon." Lucy looked at him.
"I don't know if I know anyone would fit your standard." Erza hummed.
"You could always ask Natsu." Evergreen said as she popped her head in.
"Natsu?" Lucy asked.
"Yeah, he does main vocals for his band - The Dragons. He's pretty good, he might be someone you need." Evergreen nodded her head.
"Where the hell are you guys even coming from!" Erza sighed.
"We're about to do our own band Practice." Bickslow smiled.
"And what's your band named?" Lucy asked.
"We don't have one yet." Bickslow sighed as they needed a name if they were going to enter the Battle Comp.
"How are you in a band - but you don't have a band name, that is kind of weird." Lucy mentioned.
"Well, not all of us are good at names." Laxus stepped forward and looked at her. "What song did you write this time..."
"You can't know~ it's top secret!" Lucy stuck out her tongue.
"Oh is that so?" Bickslow asked as he walked closer to try and get a listen to the song.
"Away! Shoo!" Lucy smacked his hands. "This is MY recording booth, you guys can use Laxus's."
"Come on guys, we have a song we have to record for us to enter the Battle Comp." Evergreen whined.
"Wait, what's the Battle Comp?" Lucy questioned.
"It's one that usually only Bands can enter, but soon they opened it for single artist to show off their skills." Freed answered as he looked at her. "Maybe you could enter, it would be a good idea to see what our competition would be."
When Freed said that she could enter - Lucy was happy to, but something was holding her back as she didn't know if she wanted to enter really. But maybe instead she could help Laxus and his band make sure they enter.
"What if instead, I help you with your song." Lucy said.
"Lucy! Are you really going to help?" Erza butt in. "Don't you want to enter?"
"There's no point to enter, I'm not going to compete." Lucy whispered to Erza.
"Sure, I was thinking of a new song Freed wrote." Laxus walked away to get the sheets.
As Laxus and his band were in Lucy's studio, they started playing the song.
Girl, I know I don't know you
But your pretty little eyes so blue,
Are pulling me in like the moon on your skin
I'm so glad you trusted me to slide up on this dusty seat
And let your hair down, and get outta town
Got the stars comin' out,
Over my hood
And all I know now
Is it's going good
You got your hands up,
You're rocking in my truck
You got the radio on,
You're singing every song
I'm set on cruise control
"Hold on, you know what would sound good?" Lucy said a she told them to cut the music and the recording.
"It better be something good , I haven't gotten anywhere!" Laxus growled.
"You need a female voice!" Lucy smiled.
"Who would sing it?" Bickslow questioned - wondering if she was trying to put her self out there.
"Evergreen!" Lucy said.
"What! Are you crazy!?" Evergreen shouted. "This will be a disaster!"
"No it won't! Just look at me for cues to sing and when not to." Lucy pointed out.
"Fine, but only cause I like you." Evergreen sighed.
"Arlight, we're just gonna start from the top and start again. Remember watch me for the cue to sing." Lucy said as she started the recording again.

You got your hands up,

You got the radio on,
You're singing every song
I'm set on cruise control
I'm slowly losing hold of everything I got
You're looking so damn hot
And I don't know what road we're on,
Or where we've been
{Laxus}
From starin' at you girl
{Laxus and Evergreen}
All I know is I don't want this night to end
{Laxus}
Gonna cuss the morning,
When it comes
'Cause I know that the rising sun,
Ain't no good for me
'Cause you'll have to leave
Gonna make the most of every mile
Do anything to make your smile,
Land on my lips
And get drunk on your kiss
{Laxus and Evergreen}
The clock on the dash,
Says 3:35
There's plenty of gas,
And the night's still alive
You got your hands up,
You're rocking in my truck
You got the radio on,
You're singing every song
I'm set on cruise control
I'm slowing losing hold of everything I got
You're looking so damn hot
And I don't know what road we're on,

I don't want this night to end
No I don't want this night to end
"That was great!" Lucy said as she looked at them. "You guys are going to definity be one of the bands to enter - once you have a name.." She sighed as she had to write a title for the soundtrack. "What did you end up naming the song?"
"Date night." Laxus shrugged his shoulders.
"Terrible name. How about, I don't want this night to end, as it seems to be about a date night." Erza chimed in.
"Perfect!" Lucy smiled as she typed it in and the question was - "Name of band."
"Laxus!" Freed shouted.
"What?" Laxus looked at Freed.
"Why don't we go for the name - Lightning Slayers!" Freed said as he looked at him.
"Lightning Slayers..." Laxus tested it out. "I like it, let's go for it!"
Lucy typed in the band name and submitted their song. "Alright, we are going to be knowing an answer either today or tomorrow"
"What are you talking about?" Bickslow asked.
"I submitted the song." Lucy stuck out her tongue.
"You did not!" Laxus growled.
"Did too! You guys were amazing and that take was so good." Lucy was happy that her brother and his friends were going to compete in something that amazing. "I know that you guys will get chosen! There's no way around it. That song was amazing and I'm sure you guys will do even better when competing."
Laxus saw happy this made Lucy. There was something that she wasn't telling him as she happy when competing - before turned over to the piano. She was just always so happy to sing her pop-type songs. Though Laxus didn't know why it changed. Though he was sure that maybe now going to the same school as Erza, that she would get out of the shell of hers and go back to the sister he knew.
"Alright, with your help, I'm sure we would do great." Laxus smiled and placed a hand on her head.
"Oh, well anyways, Erza and I have some stuff to do, before I meet everyone." Lucy moved away from her brother and grabbed Erza's hand and the two of them walked out of the room and to the kitchen.
"I mean, you did have a good idea about the song. I wouldn't have pictured to add some female vocals to it." Erza grabbed a water bottle from the fridge.
"What can I say, I thought the song was good, but having Evergreen sing a few lines really worked out." Lucy grabbed a Gatorade bottle and started to sigh. "I just wished I could be that confident to sing songs like that again."
"You can be! You have to come out of the shell that you put yourself into, he was wrong to do that to you! If I ever get my hands on him, I'm going to choke him!"
"You will not! Erza, you can't do that to him. I should've seen it coming to be honest."
"He still shouldn't have played with your feelings though!"
"Erza, come on, let's go do some shopping."
The two girls went to the mall and Lucy finally felt like herself as she was happy. Erza decided to just bring Lucy over to Fairy Tail. It was the popular hang out for those who go to Fairy Academy. As the two girls headed over, she was a bit worried on meeting everyone. Even if some part of her has already met Natsu and Gray before - but she couldn't remember it at all.
"Are you sure there's going to be people there? It's only four..." Lucy asked.
"Yeah, come on, it won't be that bad." Erza nudged her a bit.
"That's not what I'm worried about. I'm more worried about meeting new people. I only know you who will be at the school." She pointed out as she took a look at the building.
"You'll be okay, that's why we're doing this. So that you have more people to hang out at school."
As the two of them entered the building - there was chair that flew towards their direction and Lucy pushed Erza out of the way as she got hit with the chair - it was more folding chair that got thrown towards their direction - so it only knocked the wind out of Lucy as she fell to the ground.
"Ow.." She hissed as she got up.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE!" Erza's voice boomed over the noise.
Everyone froze in their spot as they looked over and saw Erza and some blonde chick on the ground as she got up. Gray was the one who spoke up as everyone couldn't believe that Erza caught them fighting.
"It was Flame-brains fault!" Gray said - throwing his friend under the bus.
"WHY THE HELL YOU THROWING ME UNDER THE BUS ICE PRINCESS!" Natus - his loud ass voice was heard from the second floor.
"YOU STARTED IT!"
"HOW DID I START IT WHEN I'M UP HERE!"
"KNOCK IT OFF!" Erza cut them off. "Now tell me who actually started it.."
Lucy looked around and sighed. "Erza, boys will be boys." She walked her way over to the bar - to get herself a strawberry smoothie.
"Hello! You must be new here." The angelica voice said. Of course the voice belonged to Mirajane. "I'm Mirajane."
"I'm Lucy." Lucy smiled as she looked at the girl.
"So this is the girl that Laxus is dating. She's really pretty. I wonder if that's why he's dating her, but then again I don't see Laxus dating someone because of their looks." Lucy thought.
"Lucy? As in Laxus's younger sister?" Mirajane questioned.
"The same one." Lucy nodded in agreement.
"Did you guys here that? Who ever threw that chair, hit Laxus's sister~" Mirajane in a sweet - but there seemed to be some venom behind it. "You better confess now, before I tell Makarov."
Just then - there someone standing in the door frame. Apparently the person heard what Mirajane said cause he spoke with more venom in his voice. "WHO THREW WHAT AT MY SISTER!"
