Stoick and his people were cautious as they climbed out onto the black rocks on the beach. Once they were all out of the ship Hiccup turned to them.

"Welcome to my home. As you should expect, I don't want any conflict. So I must ask you to put any of you weapons back onto the ship, even pocket knives. I know that you may feel unsafe being unable to defend yourself but I assure you that the less hostile you look and act, the less hostile my dragons will be to you."

The men and women with Stoick looked to him. He nodded and swiftly after the others were stripped of their weapons. Slowly while the everyone disarmed themselves dragons slowly poured from the mountain, perching themselves on the side to look at their guests.

"We have an audience." Toothless whispered in Hiccup's ear.

"Couldn't wait to see the humans could they?" Hiccup laughed.

The men and women gawked at the sheer number of dragons all sitting in one area. Hiccup turned around to look at how many had come out already, with many still filing out of the various holes.

"Why are they here?" Someone from the crowd squaked. Hiccup didn't see who asked him but also knew that it was likely the question almost all of them had.

"Humans have never been able to get here. They've never seen this place before. I invited them so that they could stop wondering." Hiccup addressed.

"You're lying. That can't be the only reason. These humans are from Berk. You said these humans are the most dangerous of them all. And now they're here able to get at us."

"Hiccup, be careful what you say, don't start a panic." Toothless warned.

"There is another reason." Hiccup called out. "The man with the red hair and beard is my father. He's the chief of Berk. The Alpha. I've brought him here to show him that we are no danger to them. If we can show him that, then there is a chance that we can create some sort of piece. They could no longer be our greatest biggest threat, and become a powerful ally.

These humans have only experienced The Queen's influence on you. They've only seen what we're like when forced against our will. They don't know what we're like when allowed to act on our own. When you're not forced to fight or die.

I ask you not as your alpha but as your friend to trust me. And to at least tolerate their presence here."

"Well said." Care complemented. Color nodded her approval as well.

"Thank you." Hiccup smiled. "Could one of you, or I guess both of you find the species leads and tell them to meet us at the top. Along with hunting and fishing leads. And send out a group to alert all the scouts that they're here and to come home. I want everyone home so we can regroup." They both nodded and swiftly left. Hiccup turned back to his father "Sorry about that, everyone is curious about you. Had to make sure they knew what was expected of them.

Well I guess if you want to follow me, We'll show you around." He waved his hand in a follow me motion. "Toothless lead us would you?" Toothless turned and began to walk. As they walked Hiccup looked behind himself and was a little surprised to see that his father was right behind him. They climbed through one of the large holes near the base of the mountain. As Hiccup passed through he hole he looked up and out. Taking in the surprisingly gigantic expanse of his home.

"Forget what your home looks like boy?" Stock asked.

"No, I just normally don't have to come this low. It is easy to forget just how large this place is though."

Toothless waited ahead of them, on top of where they needed to climb to. As they climbed they were slowed down or altogether stopped by dragons coming by to look at the humans. Between each slow down or stop they rushed to get further up into the mountain. And after a much longer time than any of them wanted they were finally at the shelf Toothless and Hiccup lived on.

"Alright finally." Hiccup cheered. "Welcome to our home. This kinda big shelf is our home. It lets us look over most of our people. With the exception of the shelves above us, but mostly smaller species live up there and they aren't the ones that cause most of the problems." He chuckled. He looked over the edge and saw many eyes looking back up at him. "Come look at this." He waved his hand. Stoick was the first to look over the edge. "They want to meet all of you. You'll be the first humans that they can see up close without being in danger. A nice change of pace for them I think."

"And what if we don't want to meet them?"

"You came to a place where thousands of dragons live and didn't want to meet any of them? Even for you that's hard to believe. Even if it wasn't your main reason. A little part of you, no matter how much you force it down is curious of these creatures." Hiccup called out his father out.

"While you're not wrong, it would be a long while before I could trust these beasts like you do."

"At least you're willing to give them a chance."

"Let's just say that I've had a lot to think about since you left all those years back. Time to reflect and think on how I look at certain things."

"Oh? Would you tell me about that later?"

"When I'm ready."

"Okay then let's keep going." Hiccup pulled back from the ledge. "We're going out through the top." Hiccup walked over to Toothless and scratched behind his ear and pecked him on the snout. "Lead us again?" Toothless pushed against Hiccup's hand for a second more before pulling away and walking towards were they needed to go. Hiccup walked right behind Toothless this time, occasionally kicking Toothless' tail. After the second time Toothless slapped him in the face with it.

"That's what you get for messing with my tail." Toothless called back to Hiccup, who was laughing.

"Okay yeah I deserved that." Hiccup ran forward and jumped into Toothless' back. "Now what are you going to do?" He raked his nails against Toothless' neck, making the dragon shiver.

"Well if you keep doing that I'm going to give your father a show he'll never forget." Toothless growled. That made Hiccup shiver.

"Maybe we should call a truce then. Don't want my dad scarred for life."

They continued up to Hiccup's garden where a couple of the species leads had already shown up.
