15:52 PM

Rico Brzenska stood atop of wall Rose, somberly watching over the destroyed town through her telescope. She frowned at seeing the fires and smoke rising around the town, soon enough this place will be nothing more than another Shiganshina, more settlements lost to the titans and in turn more human life. All the lives that died defending this place would go unrewarded, as Trost breathed her last.

"What the..."

A peculiar sight caught her eye, a titan suddenly collapsed to the ground as a green smoke signal went high in to the sky near the headquarters. Her eyes widened in shock as she managed to catch a glimpse of a group of soldiers advancing over the streets, she lowered the telescope and ran to inform her superiors as more troops nearby began noticing the flares.

With the target location only a few blocks away, it was now Jean and his group's turn to guard the final intersection. Connie and Daz landed a few feet away from him and watched the carriages speed off across the street, Jean sighed and turned towards his teammates to find Daz shaking like a cold kitten. He furrowed his brows and decided to address the boy directly.

"Get yourself together Daz!" He said.

The boy flinched as he met his gaze. "We shouldn't be here at all! I- I can't stop the- the jitters..."

Connie smirked and smacked him in the back. "Relax you scaredy cat! Everything will be fine! We're here with you."

"If you say so..." Daz spoke through grit teeth.

Jean rolled his eyes before advising them to pay attention, he turned around and scouted the area, inwardly wishing for the day to be over already.

The main group finally arrived at Townsquare only to find it emptier than expected, though none had been complaining about the lack of titans. Marco and Sasha's carriages come to a halt just in front of the target building as the remaining trainees watched over them. Floch, Gordon, and Franz descended next to the carriages and made their way inside.

Floch guided the two boys through the rooms until they made it past the kitchen and near the entrance of the basement, Floch's nose picked up on the scent of soup and frowned as he did so. Risking their safety over food was foolish, didn't he tell them not to leave? He furrowed his brows as he gently pushed the door and walked down the stairs with the other boys closely behind, Floch knocked on the door three times without an answer.

"Why are they not opening?" Franz asked in confusion.

"Gordon, break the door," Floch ordered before stepping back.

The taller boy complied and walked over, he placed his foot near the handle and eyeballed it before kicking at it. It took four more tries before the door was finally open, Gordon froze and gasped upon seeing the inside of the room. Intrigued by his reaction, Floch pushed passed the boy and walked inside, only to stop dead in his tracks. His eyes went wide as saucers as he stared at the multiple bodies laying around the basement, some obscured in the shadows and some lit by the light coming from the tiny windows.

Floch's throat dried as he stepped down the additional stairs, he briefly noted the empty pot which reeked of soup as he made his way deeper inside with the other two close behind. His heart raced as he tried to search for Louise, he walked over to the body of a child obscured by the dark and turned it over, feeling a morbid sense of relief over not discovering her corpse.

"Louise! Where are you?!" He called out in denial.

He suddenly heard a gasp coming from the shadows in front of him, after some whispers two figures walked out from behind a stack of old furniture by the corner of the room, Floch was met with the sight of Louise and a middle-aged blonde woman. Relief washed over him as his face contorted into a frown, his gaze met that of the woman's. "What happened?" He demanded.

The woman didn't fair much better as she came closer, squeezing Louise's hand tighter. "They grew too desperate when you ran late, I told them to wait but they were too stubborn, they found this a better alternative than being devoured by the titans." She agonizingly spoke before covering Louise's eyes, though by that point it was already too late.

Gordon ran over to a corner of the room and emptied his stomach, no longer able to keep himself together. Floch froze for a couple of seconds as he processed his thoughts and emotions, moments later he spoke with a hardened expression. "Come with us, we'll get you to safety."

The woman nodded as the group made their way upstairs, Marco and Sasha were shocked to find out what happened to the rest as they loaded them both on Sasha's carriage. With nothing keeping them around, the group turned around to leave as Marco abandoned his carriage in favor of ODM travel, freeing the horse as he did.

"Mikasa, there was supposed to be more than this, They're all gone aren't they?" Armin asked somberly.

"We just keep fighting Armin, there's nothing we can do about it now," Mikasa replieed as she took the lead.

Floch could barely pay attention to the road ahead as they raced to the castle, everything around him drowned out as his mind flashed back to the corpses scattered in that basement. He failed those people when they needed him the most, and Louise would have to grow up with scars she didn't have in her original life.

'This is the path set out ahead of me, this empire must be rebuilt on blood and bone, only those willing to shed their humanity can press forward, their deaths can only strengthen my resolve, this empire is built on bl-...' He repeated to himself inwardly, in an attempt to ease the dull pain in his chest.

"Titans behind!" A cadet called out.

Floch was ripped out of his thoughts as he turned back with the rest to see several titans running after them, his eyes widened in shock as he screamed for them to pick up the pace. Mikasa shot her Hooks in the opposite direction and killed her momentum, allowing most of the cadets to pass by her as she chose to guard the rear with Floch.

"Mikasa, whatever happens I need you to prioritize that carriage!" He told her.

She nodded her head and they carried on forward, with Floch praying for whatever deity out there to allow them a safe return to the other side of the wall.

"D-do you think they're okay?" Daz asked.

"Probably, Mikasa and Floch are there, what could go wrong?" Connie replied nonchalantly.

"T-True..." Daz muttered.

Jean furrowed his brows as he kept scanning the neighboring streets, he began to grow worried as time went on. From his position he could see a lot of titans concentrating near where the Townsquare was, at any moment now they should be returning with the civilians. Jean's ears perked up as he picked up on a sudden sound, he turned around to see a titan climbing up on all fours on a nearby building, it jumped at them before they had time to react.

Jean's eyes widened in shock. "MOVE AWAY!"

The titan crashed at their building completely demolishing it in the process, Daz and Connie were fortunate enough to be able to jump away while Jean was knocked down to the street below. Jean managed to hook away and swing down at the last second, somewhat softening the blow as he rolled down on the ground. Jean groaned in pain, unable to get up in time as the titan stood behind him much to his horror.

Jean turned around and backed away in fear as he tried his best to detach his hook from the side of the building to no avail. His heart threatened to burst out of his chest as it reached for him, he looked around him to check for his comrades, freezing upon seeing Connie's silhouette looking down on him.

"Connie! Help!" He shouted at the boy.

Connie stood on the rooftop unresponsively, he looked down at Jean with mixed emotions. A morbid thought entered his mind, he could simply allow Jean to die and secure his spot on the top ten to never have to face anything like this ever again. With Floch joining the survey corps and Eren and Jean dead, it would secure him a position as the top 10th graduate. He'd never have to fight again, all he has to do is sit and cower in fear for his life as Jean died. Tears streamed down his face as the guilt ate at him, and yet he made no effort to help when the titan grabbed hold of his friend.

"C-CONNIE!" Jean screamed at him as tears began to stream down his face.

Jean violently thrashed against the titan's grip as it brought him near its jaw, desperately kicking and punching at it to prevent the inevitable. However, by some miracle, its hands were sliced to bits freeing Jean in the process. In awe at the turn of events, the boy jumped away and managed to unhook his line before landing somewhere safer. He looked back to see Mikasa dispatching the titan, his puffy eyes widened in admiration at seeing his savior take down the giant.

"Move your ass Jean, we have no time to waste, more are coming!" Reiner called out as he flew above him.

Jean nodded dumbly before jumping away, Connie stood around for a couple of seconds in shock seeing Jean flying away until everything dawned on him. He felt guilt stabbing his chest like a serrated knife before he hunched over and emptied the contents of his stomach, Daz walked up behind him and frantically tapped his back.

"C-Come on Connie! We have to go!" Daz told him in a frenzy but the boy didn't reply.

"I... I'm a terrible person."

"W-what?!" Daz inched closer, having not heard him.

Connie looked up with tears in his eyes. "I'm an awful fucking person." He spoke before jumping away.

Daz was taken aback for a couple of seconds before he jumped after him in a hurry. "H-hey! Wait, don't leave me behind!"

Floch's mind raced with a million thoughts as he kept track of the titans behind them, while Mikasa could undoubtedly go back and deal with all of them it would leave the carriage exposed to more attacks which they couldn't afford. The only good part was that they would eventually have more people to deal with the situation as it went on, though it did nothing to ease his concerns about the growing number of titans gunning after them.

'Shit, He's really gone isn't he? This is bad, I can only depend on Mikasa for so long until she drops dead from exhaustion.' Floch thought to himself in a fit of panic.

"They're gaining on us!" Gordon called out.

"We can outpace them! Just don't sto-."

Time slowed to a crawl when he neared a corner, he glanced to the side in shock to find a titan on all fours in the motion of pouncing him. His eyes widened to epic proportions as it lunged, without any warning someone pushed him out of the way and sent him rolling to the concrete in pain. All sounds were drowned out as Floch's head was in a swirl, he faintly heard a shrill scream behind him as a thudding grew stronger and stronger. He opened his eyes with difficulty as the headaches flared again, barely able to get a good look at the titan that towered over him before it collapsed.

Gordon rushed by his side and picked him up over his shoulders as Mikasa provided cover, Floch helplessly watched the titan that came close to killing him chew on the person who saved him, even now he had no idea who the poor bastard was. It hadn't been until Gordon neared the rest of the group that he could make out the spine-chilling howls of Hannah as Reiner forcefully carried her away with them.

"I'm begging you man, I'll never forgive myself if I lose these, and In case I don't make It, I'd want Hannah to have them! I'll do my best to protect her but my life isn't guaranteed!"

Sasha rigidly looked back for a brief moment, registering the recent loss of life before she set her eyes back on the road. Her face turned grim as she focused on returning the carriage to the castle safely, she'd make sure that death wasn't in vain even if she had to pay the ultimate price herself. Her eyes widened as she spotted a titan peeking its head from around a corner before she swerved the carriage to the opposite direction, a team of cadets jumped the titan and took care of it allowing him to slip through without trouble.

Louise's heart thundered in her chest as the woman wrapped her arms around her to prevent her from watching the unfolding battle, though the girl could still see from a gap out of the corner of her eye. She watched the girl with the scarf effortlessly take out one titan after the other with stars in her eyes, fully admiring her skills and strength as she gave her a minuscule amount of hope and comfort during this awful time.

"We're close to HQ! Keep moving, the supply team will be able to help soon!" Marco called out.

Sasha felt relief wash over her looking up at Marco as they neared the castle, if all went well they'll manage to slip out of Trost with minimal losses. Her eyes widened, a titan's corpse fell as it blocked the path ahead. She swerved to the left, encountering a few bumps in the room until the wheels were caught in a pothole, crashing as it sent them all flying forward from the momentum. Sasha's eyes widened as she tumbled forward to the ground, she groaned in pain, suffering a few bruises and road rash before she shakily stood up with the help of a cadet who ran to her aid.

Mikasa frowned as she unintentionally raced past the broken down carriage, she tried to turn back for them only for a Titan to ambush her out of nowhere. With no other choice, the Ackerman was forced to deal with her own situation first before providing cover for them.

"Are you okay?!" The cadet next to Sasha asks.

"Y-Yeah..." She muttered.

She suddenly jumped in her skin, her gaze traveling with unnerving dread towards the passengers who had been with her. She gasped in horror seeing the woman and child on the floor unmoving before rushing to their side, she knelt beside them and shook them both, getting a response out of Louise as the girl stood up in a daze. The other cadet checked on the woman, only to find out that she stopped breathing as blood pooled around her head.

"She's... She's dead, She took the brunt of it to protect her..." The boy noted as they crouched over the woman's body.

Sasha took hold of Louise's hand and picked her up before running the remaining distance towards the castle, she was about to jump with her ODM gear when she suddenly stopped dead in her tracks at seeing a titan standing around the corner next to them. Sasha stared up at it in horror with Louise's head buried in her neck as it began to reach for them, she fell down in shock as the hand drew closer and closer to them.

"Shit! The titan's gonna get Sasha!" Reiner screamed at the top of his lungs as he landed on the rooftop, dropping Hannah to the side gently.

Floch watched on in despair as he looked around him, everyone now either running for the castle or engaging with the titans in complete disarray. The supply team attempted to cover Braus by showering the Titan in cannonballs, but none could land an accurate shot. In her fear, Sasha began to profusely apologize to the titan as it neared her. Floch turned around to see that Mikasa was preoccupied fending off the titans that had been chasing them, unable to help at the moment.

He suddenly felt goosebumps on his skin as everyone acknowledged a distant thudding, Floch searched from left to right the source of the incoming titan. Fear gripped his heart as he assumed the worst, in a matter of seconds the titan that had been reaching for Sasha had been punched to oblivion as a new titan arrived from around the corner.

Floch sat on the rooftop gaping from shock as the attack titan made its presence known by releasing a guttural warcry.

"What the hell is that titan doing?" Gordon muttered in awe.

He was alive, he couldn't believe it! "Eren." He muttered softly, this prompted Gordon to raise a brow questioningly.

"Floch, Gordon!"

Their eyes widened at the familiar voice, both boys turned around to see a battered Ruth approach them hurriedly. She briefly hugged the two of them before separating, He gazed at her intensely, noting her short stature, her darker shade of reddish-brown hair and her blue eyes, it was all there. This wasn't some hallucination, they were here, both of them alive and well for the most part.

"R-Ruth, They told me you died. I thought you were gone." A stunned Floch spoke.

"I thought so too... Maybe it was luck or a miracle but I only managed to get this far thanks to Eren." She replied with a weak smile.

"Eren? Where is he?" Gordon asked.

"He's right there!" She said pointing towards the titan in the middle of the street, confusing Gordon.

"What?!" Gordon let out in shock.

"I don't know why or how but Eren can turn into one of them! Eren's that titan!" She replied in awe. "I couldn't believe it, I was too terrified to move when it happened! H-he didn't attack me or anything, but I eventually found out that he only goes after other titans!

Floch couldn't the shit eating grin that formed on his face as everyone watched the battle of the titans unfold. His hope in humanity's future reignited as he looked on, All those deaths won't be in vain now. His chest filled with pride as Eren took on the titans one after the other in wild and violent motions, knowing full well that their chances of survival had just skyrocketed.

Humanity had a chance still, their devil returned.

His devil.

Floch, Gordon, and Ruth watched over the unfolding battle as more titans began to encircle Eren, leaving the other cadets confused as to why the titans suddenly began ignoring them. Floch tore his eyes away from the attack titan and focused on the scattered trainees around him, he furrowed his brows before quickly making a call to all of them.

"Everyone! Let the titan handle his kind, retreat to the castle!" His voice boomed throughout the street alerting the rest.

They heeded his call as those who survived the rescue mission retreated, Mikasa and Armin landed next to Floch as the rest made their way back to HQ. Floch sent them a brief look from the corner of his eyes before returning his focus to Eren, Frowning as he watched one of the smaller titans bite off Eren's forearm though he quickly retaliated by smashing its head against the ground effectively killing it. Another titan jumped on his back and took a bite out of his shoulder before he knocked it back with his elbow and struck it hard in the jaw, sending its detached head flying towards the castle at alarming speeds.

"SHIT!" One of the soldiers stationed by the cannons yelled as he jumped away before the head crashed between the canons and tumbled down to the castle's courtyard.

"It... Took it out by the weak spot... Why are they attacking each other? This must be the first time something like this happened, nowhere in our records was this ever mentioned before." Armin spoke as he looked on in fascination.

"It's also very capable in hand-to-hand combat, just what is it?" Mikasa asked in surprise.

"There's a fine explanation for that," Floch replied.

"There is?" Armin breathed out with Mikasa looking equally as intrigued.

"That's not any titan, That's Eren." He informed.

Both teens were rooted in their place from shock, gaping at Floch in disbelief before they tore their eyes away from him and traced their path to the fifteen-meter titan wreaking havoc on the other giants. Mikasa felt a strange sensation of warmth in her chest as if her heart were full of life again. Though that did nothing to ease the utter bewilderment of seeing the small boy who swore to exterminate the titans becoming the very thing he vowed to destroy.

"E-Eren?!" Armin exploded in shock.

"Y-Yes! I-I watched him transform with my own eyes! H-He began attacking them at random, so I brought him over here!" Ruth confirmed.

"Does that mean... Is he... Is he staying like that forever?" Armin asked feeling a pang of fear in his chest.

Floch closed his eyes in thought, it wouldn't be good to disclose such sensitive information at this current time. Better play it safe and be as clueless as the rest, no point in sharing now. "Let's just stay frosty and hope for the best." He replied to ease his worries.

"Titan or not, all that matters is that he's alive," Mikasa spoke before unsheathing her sword and moving forward off the roof.

Armin's face flashed with surprise before he grabbed onto by the elbow. "M-Mikasa what do you think you're doing?!" He half-shouted at her.

"I'm helping, look around they're slowly encircling him, now let go Armin." She replied before yanking her arm away to jump to Eren's aid.

Floch looked on intently as she joined the fight and took out a titan that almost snuck up on Eren, who ignored her presence in favor of striking the other titans in wild motions. Floch couldn't help but feel absolute joy watching the scene unfold, this nightmare was coming to an end soon. Floch turned to the rest of the cadets standing behind him, noticing just how deathly pale Armin was watching his friends fight. He placed his hand on the blond boy's shoulder bringing him back to reality, Armin nearly jumped out of his skin as he met Floch's gaze.

"Wake up, we have to go somewhere safer, that fight is getting nastier by the second," Floch said.

Armin nodded in return. "R-Right."

With some help from Gordon, Floch made his way back to the castle with the others, landing a few feet away from the supply team. Elise ran up to them, confusion evident on her face. Both turn around to the roar of Eren's titan just to see him using his teeth to fling a titan towards another one as they crashed into the neighboring buildings. The shockwave threw Mikasa off course, forcing her to detach from the fight and rejoin the rest on the castle's rooftop.

"Forster, what the hell is that titan doing out there?!" She asked.

"Your guess is as good as mine, all that matters is that it's helping us." He replied nonchalantly.

"And when It stops being nice? It almost killed some of my team!" She added skeptically.

"Just stay out of Its damn way, It's not the enemy."

Elise reluctantly noded before they all make their way to the ledge to observe the ongoing fight where many cadets were gathered.

Connie stayed far away from the huddled group and sat down on his own, internally thinking back on the mistake that nearly cost him a friend earlier. He curled up into a ball and held his knees together tightly, tears threatening to leak from his eyes as Jean's terror-filled shrieks haunt him. It all seemed to align perfectly at the time, if he simply stood by and surrendered to his fear then he'd haved secured himself a place in the capital. That was a twisted way of looking at things, but everyone had to do what was in their best interests in this world do they not? He did it for his family, to provide for them, he repeated to himself in denial. Eren's outburst at the mess hall and Floch's speech resurface in his mind as he couldn't help but cringe at his actions, what the hell was he thinking?

"YOU!"

Connie's head jerked up, his breath caught in his throat at the sight of the infuriated Jean as a worried Marco rushes behind him. Connie quickly rose to his feet and held his hands up defensively, mumbling incoherently to the boy and profusely apologizing. To no one's surprise, it had zero effects on Kirstein as Connie suddenly found himself down on the floor with a bruised cheek, Jean towered over him panting furiously with a bruised knuckle, and Marco quickly comes between the two to prevent any further altercation.

"Jean, what are you doing? Stop!" Marco frantically shouts as he steps between the two, alerting some of the bystanders behind them.

The boy in question grits his teeth in anger. "You stood there and watched me get eaten-!" As he said that, his face fell as he realized he had done the same to Tom a few hours ago.

Connie suppressed the sobs, not daring to look up from the ground. "I'm sorry."

Jean glowered, conflicted by his realization. "Sorry doesn't fucking cut it does it?"

Marco frowns. "Jean, please calm down. This situation is taking its toll on all of us, we're all scared for our lives here and nobody is an exception. Cut him some slack, you're still here with us aren't you?"

Jean glanced at Marco in irritation, though he took some time to digest his words. He grit his teeth and clicked his tongue before storming away, leaving the two boys alone. Marco turned around and knelt beside Connie, offering him a hand to stand up. "I'm sorry about that Connie, You know how Jean gets."

Connie rejected his help and took off with one last comment. "I deserved it."

Marco stood out in the open with a frown as the short boy made his way inside of the castle, he glanced back at the rest who were in the process of watching the battle between the titans. He sighed in frustration as he joined them, this day was ticking by too slowly for his taste and he wasn't sure if he'd be able to keep his sanity by the end of it.

He heard the muscular titan give one last roar followed by a loud thud, Marco rushed over to the ledge to see that the titan was now a shell of its former self. Missing limbs, torn flesh revealing organs, its withered skin clung to the bones like a man ailed by famine. A brief burst of steam shot out of its nape as someone emerged from underneath the flesh, Marco could hardly believe his eyes when Eren Yeager emerged from the corpse of that titan.

"How many of us here made it using the deaths of our friends?" - Marco Bodt 950 AD, battle of Trost.

15:35 PM

Eren woke up with a groan, his eyes fluttering open in confusion as his vision took some time to adjust. He would eventually register the smell of blood filling his nostrils, and the uncomfortable restrictions keeping his limbs bound together. He writhed on the wooden floor in a futile panicked attempt to free himself before a picture frame was thrown right at his head, he groaned again as the impact left a mark on his cheek.

"Ow! What the hell!" He cried out.

"D-Don't move, and be q-quiet!" A girl spoke with a shaky breath behind him.

He twisted his body around to look at the girl only to receive a shoe in the face this time around, further agitating him as he glared at the redheaded cadet who looked to be on the verge of tears from fear.

"Stop throwing shit at me!"

"I said stop shouting!" She hissed at him sharply in a hushed tone.

Eren narrowed his eyes at the girl as she held another shoe in her hand with her back pressed against the wall, he took some time to study her features until he eventually recalled who she was.

"You're Ruth, right? I always saw you around Floch." He said.

"Y-Yes, now stop shouting you'll bring them here." She replied apprehensively

Eren's face scrunched with irritation as he looked down at the belt around his wrists. "Why am I tied up?"

"I'm trying to figure that out for myself, I-I don't know if I can trust y-you."

"Can't... Trust me? What the hell are you on about?" He cocked a brow in confusion.

"H-Humans don't magically heal themselves when they're missing half their body parts, s-so what are you?!" She clarified as she asked again.

"What are you saying?!"

"I said what are you?!"

He looked down at his body to inspect, noting that the pants he wore now were dark and baggy, a chunk of his shirt torn off and bloody further amplifying his confusion. He tried his best to remember what had occurred before this, images of his squad and titans flashing across his mind. His face darkened when he suddenly recalled Thomas, and the last moments leading up to the blond boy's death including his unpleasant incapacitation.

"B-back in class they told us that only titans can regenerate their injuries, you were missing both legs and parts of your stomach when I found you. You were even steaming just like them!... What would Floch do? Crap what do I do! Oh god..." She said before rambling off by herself hysterically.

"THOMAS!"

He launched forward and chased after the titan that had killed Thomas, failing to notice the other one that readied itself to pounce on him.

"EREN, NO!" Armin distantly called out behind him.

He turned around just in time to see a titan lunging at him, blacking out moments after being trapped halfway in its jaw.

Eren looked back up at her grimly uncertain of what to think, inwardly recalling how he had been nearly devoured whole.

'All of that felt like a dream, yet everything around me says otherwise, Just what happened?'

Eren frowned as he lowered his gaze to the floor, all of the evidence was there. Was he truly one of them? Was he the monster he swore to destroy? It couldn't be, could it? And yet he found no way to explain how he had survived that ambush. Eren felt at a loss for words, his entire world shattering around him in real time as confusion and panic mounted. Suddenly, he took notice of the lack of equipment strapped to his body and looked up at the girl holding him hostage.

His eyes widened. "You took my ODM gear! You were planning on leaving me here tied up?!"

She frowned. "D-Does it matters? You looked pretty dead to me when I took it, If I were able to leave I'd have done so already. And stop shouting please!"

Eren's face hardened. "Listen to me, we have bigger problems to worry about! Trust me I'm just as lost and confused as you are, all I ask is that you do not allow fear to consume you, if Floch ever spoke about me around you you'll know that nobody around here hates these titans as much as I do. I am only a threat to the Titans! Please, Have some faith in me and untie me!"

"I- I'm sorry b-but I... I d-don't know..." She furrowed her brows in uncertainty.

An urgent thought came to mind, where were, Armin and Mikasa? The rest of his squad? What the hell was going on out there during the time he was out?!

"I am begging you, I have to go back out there! Armin, Mikasa, the rest of my team, they're all out there somewhere and they could be in danger!" He shouted at her with mounting anger which sent the girl into a frenzy as she unsheathed her ODM swords.

"T-They gave the evacuation order hours ago they're likely fine, please stop shouting!" She hissed at him in a fit of panic to no avail.

"Dammit, you don't know that! I told you I'm not a titan, I won't hurt you!" He continued to yell, frustrated by her actions.

"Stop it-"

The floor they were on suddenly began to shake as dust kicked up around them, Eren rigidly turned around to see the head of a five-meter class titan poking inside from the other end of the room. His eyes went wide as he recognized it as the same titan that had lunged at him earlier, and now it was trying its best to free itself from being stuck in the side of the building.

"Crap!" Ruth said before she moved to get out of the room, as more titans gathered outside.

Eren glowered as she left him behind. "Hey! don't leave me like this!" He shouted as he tried to stand up with difficulty.

An enormous hand crashed through the wall sending a small shockwave and debris flying everywhere around Eren, Ruth tripped on her feet and fell in front of the door as the boy lay on the floor covered in dust and debris. Eren's face scrunched in pain as he opened his eyes to see a titan reach for him, his face fell in horror as the fingers began to wrap around his body.

Eren adopted a furious expression as the titan was about to pick him up, he refused to go out this way. Struggling between its fingers in his current state during his last moments would be much preferable submitting to it. He lifted his bound legs and kicked at its palm with futility as it tried to hold onto his legs, Ruth rushed to his side and cut its digits off before it could lift him. The redhead quickly sliced off his bindings before helping him get on his feet as they ran for the exit.

Eren quickly closed the door behind him as the room is obliterated. "Thanks for coming back," Eren said.

"J-Just don't hurt me." She panted on her knees.

Eren nods his head in acknowledgment before he offers her his hand, she looks at it for a moment before taking it. They were about to move down the hallway when they both suddenly stilled at a disturbance.

Eren's eyes widened. "GET DOWN!"

The titan's hand broke through the wall knocking Ruth back. Eren quickly ran to her and pushed her flat on the ground as the hand dragged across the hallway destroying the walls in the process, the two teens sat up and looked back. The small titan from before clawed at them as the other one simply gazed with a toothy grin, it wasn't before long that it tried reaching for them by which point Eren took hold of the girl's arm and stood up to rush away.

More titans began to surround their building as they ran around for safety, forcing the two teens to dodge stray limbs and debris at every turn before their luck eventually ran out. Ruth's eyes widened in terror as she looked out to the windows to see the titan that had chased her around earlier sprint at them directly, Eren quickly pushed her out of the way as it slammed right into the building. Ruth broke into a coughing fit as dust covered the hallway, as it settled she looked up in horror to see a bloodied Eren held in its hands.

The last few things Eren could recall before his mind went blank had been the unadulterated rage coursing through his body, the taste of metallic blood in his mouth, and the primal desire to rip and tear this filth that held him to shreds. Moments later, Ruth had to shield her eyes as a blinding, deafening flash of light engulfed the entire street.

Hello, welcome again how are you? Fine? good, good.

Now here are some questions answered:

Patjeeson:"So if Floch make Eren touch someone with royal blood we will see the return of S4 Eren in the first season or he will be different?" : Since it's obvious by now that events will change, Eren won't see the same future so a mix of both kind of.

FlochWasRight(Based):"...Especially because this fic ending soon? I don't want that!" : This Fic is nowhere near close to ending, there's still at least a minimum of 30 chapters left for this story likely even more.

Apulls:"Do you ever watch/analyze the episode of aot you're writing about? or do you do most of it from memory?" : If it's near a major event I'll check the Manga/Anime for important details, but most of the time I remember the core events by heart.

MisterFerris:"Will this follow the AOT Requiem ending, the (infamous) 139 ending, or will this fic have its original ending?" : How about all three combined? The Floch ending baby.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words, especially for the familiar names I've been seeing since this fic started (Apulls, Hope, bigmack, Born, etc..) It's always a pleasure to read your comments!

Bye bye now!
