Here's the next chapter everyone, as usual, big shout out and round of applause for Pyrojack on helping me and working on writing this one and hopefully many more to come.

Also I do guess some of you are pretty well most likely disappointed that this got updated and not some of the other stories which I do understand, but I figured why not since the new episode of Helluva Boss came out.

(It was awesome, and very much enjoyed it, but I also give my sympathy and condolences definitely goes out to Loona's voice actress because it was around this time she lost her boyfriend Billy Kametz, the one who voiced Josuke in Jojo's Bizzare Adventure 'Diamond is Unbreakable'. Also a little fun fact he played as Goh's Inteleon in the Arceus Chronicles. Thats the reason we didn't hear her voice in that episode all together. Bit disappointed Norman Reedus wasn't able to play Striker, but eh, you do what you gotta do.)

Now, for those that have 'issue's' trauma from psychical stuff, not the S way but the B way. Do apologize if it brings back any unsettling memories and so fourth. Trust me, it hurt a little bit inside writing certain parts of this chapter deep down.

Ok! That's enough talking from my part, so thank you all for reading this, yad-yada, so forth. Ya'll know what I mean. Because every single one of you are awesome. Also don't forget, to add, and fav plus if you'd be kind definitely Review, always do appreciate it.

Destinys bar comes into view, and we see the being wearing an apron carrying a small tray full of brownies. "Making me some goods-Making me some goods-Making me some good-Making me some goods~"

The being sets it down and sniffs down at the delicious delicacies that were made steaming away. "Oh yeah..."

*Meow*

Mitty jumps onto the bar counter.

"Nuh-uh. Back off cat." Destiny plants its hand on the cat's face making it's hand stretch outwards putting the cat out of view. "These damn things are mine."

The being then noticed the Audience/readers. "You all probably wished you had some of these fine specimens huh? Well, too bad. As I said, they're mine."

Mitty is walking towards the brownies and Destiny once again pushes the cat away. "So, let's recap on what the heck happened last night shall we~" With a snap of fingers we see a few clips of what transpired last time.

"Our titular servant has been caught between a rock and a hard place." They winked. "Unfortunately, he got caught red-handed by a very unexpected couple with a very illustrious career." We see Donner underneath a mattress that was pressing up against his face repeatedly with him putting his beak sideways so as not to poke a hole in it.

"Yeah not one of his best moments, but on the bright side he learned more about his coworker Arnold and finally met his wife, Verosika Mayday."

A few clips of Arnold and Verosika were seen, like him and her dancing in the recording booth and performing on stage. "Yeah, that same Verosika Mayday. A lot of people are unhappy about it."

"Be they the denizens of Hell, the people of Earth or even some of you in the audience." A knife was thrown from the crowd landing on the brownies.

"See what'd I tell you?" Destiny asked as the recap stopped but didn't notice that the pan of brownies was slowly sliding off the bar counter. "But, enough about that. So what does anyone know about feeling when you try to do more than what you're used to?"

The pan of brownies continued sliding off. Destiny was so in tuned it wasn't even noticing the treats were going.

"Well, let me tell you, once in a while you feel insignificant or some big word that describes that." The pan of brownies continued sliding away. "So what do you do about it? Lots of things, the most common being, getting out of your comfort zone and try to see where whatever you try to do and where it takes you. Either you get good results, or ya suck and aren't meant for it." The pan of brownies disappeared.

"So, that's what this chapter is going to be about." Destiny reaches for a brownie but finally noticed that the pan had disappeared. "Where the hell?"

Meow

"MITTY!" We see the empty pan of brownies with a foghorn being heard and then see the cat with a fat belly laying on the floor. "You ate all of my brownies!" Cried Destiny.

Mitty merely burped in response, not caring about licking the chocolate around its lips.

"Damn cat." Destiny turned to the audience/readers. "Oh well, let's get on with it."

The tv comically falls down onto Destiny earning a painful scream as we zoom into the screen showing the title of the story.

Helluva Servant

Chapter/Episode 13

Made with Love and a small pinch of Pain

Currently we hear a hum and the sound of colored pencils scraping against paper. The one who was humming and doodling was Donner or rather a much younger Donner. Back then compared to how he was compared to today. Four keen differences. The first being his hair was shorter, the second was also his beak being not as long. Third trait was that he was wearing standard smaller servant clothing. The last was that Donner had yet to obtain his wings.

Yep it was very hard to believe that this seemingly little cute bird child would one day be a skilled young killer. But hence the very world he lived in, you couldn't really afford to be too soft, you had to at least know how to fight, and fend for yourself. Because hell was no place for the weak at all, in most cases those that were less fortunate enough were the ones on the chopping block.

The younger avian demon, he'd just finished drawing. As for what it was, it was Stella only her face was located on her ass. The boy giggled at his little masterpiece, feeling as though he had outdone himself.

With that little fun done Donner exited out of his room. When he did emerge, Donner was skipping through the halls humming away like it was no big deal. Normally he'd be working but today just so happened to be one of his days off. Yep even back then Donner worked in the place he was raised, it taught him both the value of hard work, manners, as well as a handful of other things most kids weren't taught at this age. These were all the teachings to raise up a very mature, well mannered man.

However, even now and then the little fella still had moments when he was able to act like kids did.

Now just because he didn't go to school didn't mean he had no education, he had his caretaker, Merida as well as a couple of other of the older staff who were more than kind enough to tutor him. Nothing fancy, he had at least some form of education with some common sense. Having those experiences were just as important.

Yeah, living at this place had a lot of moments, but at the same time though, it didn't fill in one part of being a kid. Having a bunch to play with, as he was skipping and humming away, he ended up bumping into someone. As for who that someone was, it was Stolas. He chuckled, smiling down at the little avian. "Hello Donner."

"Hi sir."

"I take it you're not goofing off?"

"Oh no, I finished all I was supposed to do, so I got an excuse to do it." Donner replied with a smirk.

"Is that so?"

"Mmhmm!" The avian boy nodded.

"Well alright, just stay out of trouble ok?"

Donner merely saluted back in response and continued skipping while humming away.

Stolas really did find his little antics to be amusing, almost the same as his own daughter. By now we Donner skipping through the garden before stopping and picked up a rock skipping it across the large pond that was there. "And score!" He cheered.

As the younger avian demon made his way through the garden he suddenly heard laughter. Being how he was Donner ducked behind a pillar and peaked around to see it was Octavia. The little owl girl was just running around having a good time and heading towards a set of swings that were put in the backyard for her.

Donner watched on curiosity, this same girl was only a year older than he was, and yet for some odd reason he was not allowed to be even near or around her. He didn't understand why. But then he noticed the laughing stopped, and the owl girl looked a bit sad, for whatever reason he didn't know. Donner wanted to see what was wrong.

But before he could approach the princess Donner felt a tight hand grab him. "What do you think you're doing?"

Tensing, the thunderbird looked up to a very angry white avian glaring down at him. "I-I... I thought I heard something, milady." Donner answered, nervously. "Didn't know anyone was here."

Stella merely scoffed, not believing a single word he said before yanking onto one of his arms and pulled him away. Fearfully Donner tried to get out of the female owl's grip but she wouldn't relent, bringing him back inside the palace.

Then without an ounce of remorse Stella slapped Donner knocking him onto the floor.

With fear mixed with pain Donner reached for his bruised right cheek, the stinging sensation still lingered as Stella flared down hateful daggers at the child not being bothered by the sight of his tears. "How many times do I need to make myself clear you little bastard? To stay away from my daughter!?"

"I didn't mean to!" He yelled, frightfully. This only served to antagonize the shrew.

Stella slapped the poor boy again, knocking him back to the floor. "I don't want to hear any excuses!"

"I'm not." The boy cried, tears welling in his face. The look on her face did not change. Only showing just how pathetic he looked before her.

She began to step over to him and fearfully he got up and back away trying to get away from her as she got closer and closer. "The fact that my spineless husband allows you to stay here, much less live in this palace baffles me...What makes you so special? For what reason are you even here in the first place!?" Donner could go no further as he backed up into a wall while she towered over him.

"The fact he sees something in you more than our own daughter is a fucking embarrassment." The avian demon grabbed the boy by his hair feathers, pulling him up to his feet. "Get up!" Donner gave off a painful cry as she pulled onto his hair with force. Not showing any signs of being gentle at all. He couldn't speak at all, he was so afraid, he was a crying mess and Stella was starting to get sick of it. "Stop crying!" Suddenly she paused the reason being without much time to react the owl lady got a zap!

Naturally because of this, Stella shrieked out in pain before throwing Donner into a stand making a vase shatter. This one royally pissed her off, especially with the minor burn in hand. She stamps forward to the prone boy and proceeds to kick him nonstop. "YOU LITTLE SHIT!" She was yelling on the top of her lungs kicking the smaller bird. "HOW FUCKING DARE YOU HARM YOUR MISTRESS! I. WILL. TEACH. YOU. SOME. MANNERS!"

But as Stella continued her violent fit of rage lashed outwards pulling Donner away. The lady of the house turned around to see Merida who was giving her a disapproving look, holding Donner in her arms, letting the child cry into her chest. Right behind you could see what appeared to be a long skeletal spine extending out from behind her.

"Lady Stella, I do believe that's enough. You've made your point."

"How dare you stand in my way, Merida!" She berated me.

"How dare I? How dare you?!" The skeletal demon shot back. "He's just a fucking child!"

"That child! Just zapped me!" Stella pointed at the still whimpering bird in Merida's arms who stepped back a little further to keep the distance. "How do you explain that!? What's your excuse!?"

"Well when he's petrified of you, there isn't anything for me to excuse other than your lack of judgment."

Stella got up into the head maid's face. "Need I remind you of your place here Merida? You are a servant, one that proved her worth to work and serve your lord and mistress even for a sinner such as yourself."

Merida glared back in response, keeping her grip on little Donner. "I know my place. So much as lay your hands on my child again and I will not be held responsible for what happens next." The sinner warned as her spine extended out further.

"What is going on here!?" They both looked to see it was Stolas who's eyes immediately widened in shock upon seeing Donner who was crying and shaking fearfully. It didn't take much to put the two and two together on what had transpired. He glanced over to his wife. "What did you do?"

"Evidently your little addition went out of line." Stella said with laced venom looking towards Donner. "He even had the audacity to harm me..."

Keeping his gaze focused on his 'wife' Stolas spoke to the head maid. "Merida, leave us."

"Yes master." Merida bowed as she walked off much to Stella's dismay.

"Are you fucking kidding me!?" She marched over to them only for Stolas to hold out an arm stopping her from proceeding any further. "No, get back here!"

"Keep going!" Stolas ordered before asking her the same question from earlier. "What. Did. You. Do?"

"What was necessary. Something you wouldn't do."

"Necessary?!" Stolas hollered. "Stella, Donner is just a boy. He wouldn't hurt anyone. You on the other hand-"

"Look at my hand!" She squawked, showing minor second degree burns. "That boy is as much a hazard to me as he is to this whole palace!"

"What?" He was puzzled to hear this. "What exactly did he do?"

"He fucking zapped me, Stolas! Like I was in an Electric chair!"

"I understand Stella, but what you did was completely out of line!"

"Out of line?!" Stella's pink eyes glared dangerously at her husband, daring him to say something else.

"Yes out of line!" He so indeed took that dare glaring back. "I don't care whatever your reason is, or why you despise him so much, that was out of line!"

Stolas received a slap in response but despite that he stood his ground, fueled by anger. "You let that 'thing' into our lives, and prioritize him over your own daughter! Don't fucking tell me I'm out line when you were the one out of line for letting him be here!"

"I don't just prioritize Donner over our own daughter!" The prince defended. "Stella, the lad needs help and when he comes of age, I need to be ready for it. Not just Via!"

"Why do you even concern yourself with him at all? He has nothing to do with our family whatsoever!"

Stolas hesitated for a moment before speaking. "...All you need to know is that I have my reasons."

He proceeded to walk away leaving Stella to fume out and release her anger, going into a room to smash whatever was in there and could be broken. All while he was contemplating on this new information, this was a sign showing that the little avian demon's abilities were starting to emerge. The male owl demon made a mental note to himself to call up Bruns and inform him of this unpredicted development.

Meanwhile we cut to Merida's room where we see the sinner tending to Donner examining how much Stella had done to him. Aside from a bunch of bruises, nothing was broken much to her relief. However, there was a little cut on the cheek where Stella slapped him.

"Just one moment ok?" She walked over to a cabinet and came back bringing with her a small med kit. "Now hold still..."

The look on the little thunderbird's face was heartbreaking to see. A mixture of pain, confusion and sadness. She grabs some wet gauze, wiping where the cut is. The kid understandably flinched from the sting, prompting the head maid to hold him in place.

"Easy...I know..." She finished applying the stuff and applied it onto the cheek. "Donner what were you doing?"

"I….I just wanted to see if she wanted to play…." Donner answered hesitantly.

The sinner sighed knowing that this urge was just a normal part that any child would want to interact with others around their age. "You're not supposed to..."

"I know...but it's not fair..." Donner sniffled and began to tear up. "How come...she looks as lonely as me?"

"What?" Merida was confused by this. Especially since hardly was ever around Octavia.

"She...She just looked...sad..." Donner said, wiping away his tears. "I just...wanted to see if she wanted to play..." Having finished applying the gauze the boney sinner simply applied a couple of band aids on the boy's face. Seeing that she's finished, she decided to pick him up gently and put him in a hug. "I don't...I don't get..."

"It's alright, it's alright..." Merida said, allowing him to let it out. She smiled, showing how touched the female sinner was. But felt ashamed that he got that treatment for simply trying to make a friend. One that he wasn't even allowed to be around. "I know it hurts, but I know you'll find friends someday. I'm really sorry this happened to you, son." She held him closely.

"Yeah but...when?"

She didn't know what to say. Telling someone like this that she doesn't know when or if ever would eat the former human up. "Someday." She whispered.

Present time

Little did Merida know that those words did in fact come true. Donner made friends, even the very same girl he wasn't allowed to be around. Now they were thick as two peas in a pod.

We also see him currently in the kitchen. The very one place he was absolutely not allowed to be in. Much less by himself. But right now, Donner was wearing an apron and was on a mission. Right behind, you could clearly see that there were a few 'failed' attempts on whatever he was working on.

"Ok...Ok...So just do it like this..." He was watching a video but then an ad came on much to his dismay. "Oh come on, now?" He tried to skip it, but couldn't so now he had to watch an advertisement of some barbeque restaurant

A group of imps, one with white curly hair in a black tank top and jeans and another man with similar hair, but a brown button up, slacks and an apron.

The former was speaking to the crowd. "Y'all tired of heating up the barbecue across the street? Y'all got more sauce than you got meat?" The imp questioned.

"Then bring yo' big ass down to Bro's Barbeque. Just right down East of Pride Ring where the old brothel now turned shopping mall is located. The very same one where orgies were normal and still are. Bro's Barbeque! Tastes so good It'll make you wanna slap yo mamma! Ain't that brotha!?"

"Yeah~ boy! Hey Momma!" The griller called out to the old lady behind him.

"What the fuck you want Trav-"

SLAP!

An audible slap was heard, even in this room. Donner visibly cringed at the sight. The older imp eventually collapsed from the hit as the people turned back to the camera. An address and phone number prompt came into view.

"Their only location! So come on down anytime! We open five days a week!" The griller gave thumbs up, not ashamed for slapping his momma while Donner put a hand against his cheek.

"Yeah...thanks for reminders..." The avian demon said bitterly recalling the many times a certain bitch slapped him. He shook off those thoughts and turned his focus back on what he was cooking, they appeared to be beef rolls cooking in a pan. Surprisingly he didn't burn them or worse. Now he was at the stage where he had to taste them. So taking a small knife he cut off a small end piece and ate it.

Much to his surprise it was good. "Son a bitch...I actually did it. Yes!" He pumped a fist happily and moved the meat into a small cast iron pan. Once they were there he drenched the rolls in tomato sauce. "I'll let you sit in there for a little while and we'll take it from there."

He whipped off the sweat from his brow and immediately got to work on the dishes that were left from his mess running water and doing other things so he wouldn't get caught.

A few moments of hiding the evidence and periodically stirring the pan later which had more beef rolls inside. Donner peaked around the corner making sure the coast was clear and made his way out. But then. "Hey Don-'' His instincts kicked in and he had whoever was speaking to him in a choke hold. It was Arnold.

"Gack! Uck!" The groundskeeper choked. "Stop it's me! Stop it's me!"

Donner stopped. "Oh crap..." He let the hornless imp go, letting him drop to the floor. "Arnold I'm sorry, but dammit how many times do I tell you guys do not sneak up from behind me?"

"Evidently not enough." Arnold commented sarcastically.

"What are you doing here?" Donner questioned.

"Making myself some lunch." The white imp answered obviously, quirking his brow as he looks at the thunderbird suspiciously. "What are you doing here?"

"Nothing..." The thunderbird shrugged. "Just cleaning up the kitchen."

He looked over at the servant and noticed one pan under the ignited burner. Something's boiling in there. "And who's cooking that?" Arnold pointed towards the pan.

"What are you, the food police?" Donner frowned in annoyance wanting him to drop it.

"Well, I don't see anyone here except you and that pan. So forgive me when I find that a little bit suspicious." The white imp crossed arms cheekily.

"And where are you hoping to get at Mr. Typhoon?" Donner returned back using the imp's no-no card. It was his way of putting the imp back in his place especially considering he knew something Donner didn't want others to know about. And he had been very adamant on reminding Arnold ever since then two weeks ago.

"Nothing at all. I'm just curious." Arnold shrugged before glaring. "Also, really? I haven't told anyone, and I told 'her' not to say anything too. So, relax, ok?"

"Hmhm~" Donner wasn't so convinced, crossing his arms.

"Anyways..." Arnold changed the conversation. "I thought you weren't allowed in the kitchen by yourself. Like almost, ever?"

"Don't you have like anything else better to do than question me on certain things?" Donner retorted.

"Oh come on, what are you even making?" Arnold was now even more curious to know.

Donner sighed knowing he'd got caught. "It's just Beef Braciole."

"Braciole?" Arnold raised an eyebrow. "The hell is Braciole?"

"Nothing, it's just something Italian." Donner replied. "Beef rolls drenched in sauce."

"Hmm, well in that case. Eyes on the stove." The imp gestured to the burner.

"Relax, I'm done with it anyways." Donner proceeded to pull out the cast iron pan he had and dunked the rolls he made adding them into the sauce but made sure to flip them and make some room.

"For once, let me have this and don't tell Merida."

"Fine. Okay." Arnold held his hands up in peace backing up casually. "Just as long as you don't tell anyone else either."

"Although, I can't necessarily blame her, because that one time 'someone' nearly gave food poisoning to a couple of guests a couple years back." Donner gave him another frown. "Shutting up now..." Arnold said before he proceeded to make himself something before cursing. "Ah shit..."

"What?"

"I just remembered something else too..."

"Which is?" Donner questioned. Arnold was very hesitant to speak but gave in, his shoulders dropping. "She wants to see you in her quarters."

Donner sighed knowing full well that this wasn't going to end well at all. "Was there anything specific?"

"No, she said that she wanted you to go. Like now. Pronto." Arnold said in a nervous tone.

The young avian demon shook his head. "Fine."

"I'm sorry." Arnold apologized as he watched Donner walk out.

"You're not the one I want to hear sorry from." He replied bitterly.

Donner was now in front of the one room he always did his best to avoid. Not to mention doing everything he could to not enter it. Whenever he did, Donner would secretly lick one of her prized objects in spite.

Mustering up whatever bravery he had, Donner knocked on the door. "Who is it?" He heard the voice he despised holding his tongue.

"You requested to see me madam?" He put on his servant facade, but he'd rather make out with a dinosaur that'd try to kill him instead.

"Ah, yes." He could tell Stella wasn't liking talking to him either. "Enter."

"Pardon me." Donner opened the door, closing it behind him. He was now inside of Stella's private office. "You wished to speak with me?"

"Yes, have a seat." She frowned and Donner walked forward doing as requested sitting before the mistress of the household. "Do you know why I called you here?"

"Respectfully no." Donner answered. "Can't say that I know."

"Hmm." Stella hummed as put her chin underneath her hands. "It's come to my attention that, while you're beneficial to my daughter as a protector. It's giving her a bad image to possible suitors."

"I don't follow."

"Ever since that skirmish with the Obscures bodyguard, the potential candidates have been weary."

"Weary?" Donner raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"No, wrong word. I meant Skittish." Stella corrected herself. "They are rather skittish."

"Skittish of what? Me?" Donner played along pointing to himself. "Surely they have better things to worry about then just some lower servant beneath them."

"Evidently it is." Stella said with even more venom. "I happen to be confused on how and why they are. Spineless little shits." She gets up from her chair. "But no less, the whole attempt to find my daughter a perfect suitor was completely a waste of time."

"I hardly see how that was my fault." Donner pointed out. "Because if so, that just means and shows how pathetic they are doesn't it?"

"Regretfully to admit, much less agree with you it is." Stella confirmed as she started pacing towards him. "However, despite that, it is the reason."

"That I am accountable for this deprivation, my lady?" Donner questioned, as stoically as he could.

"No, even though it partially is." Stella confirmed as she started to pace around his chair. "But there's another issue as well." She stops from behind, placing a hand on the top of the chair tapping it slightly. "I've heard a very interesting declaration you told my brother, during our last party."

'Oh crap...' Donner said mentally to himself knowing this wasn't going to end well. "I'm sorry, madam, but perhaps kindly refresh my memory?"

"The one where you made it clear on your 'devotion' to protecting my daughter. Even having the nerve of threatening him." Stella gripped the chair. "Do you remember now?"

"I only answered a question making it clear of where my duties and loyalty was mam nothing more, nothing less."

"And yet he claims that you intend to do more than that." The white avian accused the thunderbird. Her grip tightened.

"I'm fulfilling my role as need be." Donner said mentally preparing himself for what was going to be coming very soon. "There are those even in the family that would intend to harm her. Should I not intervene and let them have their way with lady Octavia?"

"That's not what I'm referring to you stupid bird!" She squawked. "I know of your goals, what you're intended for. No. I am referring to you having your way with her!"

Donner glanced back at her. Seriously!? She was going on about that!? While it was true, he did have a crush on Octavia, he didn't see her as some prize. No, he genuinely did care for her, not in some sick way Stella was saying.

"And I've already had this discussion with Lord Andrealphus as well. I know my place, and that is serving and protecting the one that I've been placed under." He continued going along with it.

Growling in frustration Stella grabbed the back of Donner's head and slammed it right onto her desk. "Stop. Lying. To. Me!" She pressed her hands on his head as hard as he could. "You think I haven't noticed what you've been doing? What you're saying behind my back, you lowly piece of shit!"

Donner had to hold back what he was capable of doing. Because this was a moment where he had to endure. Compared to what numerous fights that almost killed him, this was nothing. It still hurt, but the young avian demon had to do what he had to do and that was make it through this, without snapping. "I don't…."

Stella wasn't having nor showing any signs of listening as she once again slammed his head onto her desk earning a grunt of pain.

"You insult me!" She slammed his head down again. "Embarrass my family!" Again. "Laid your filthy hands on me!" Once more. "And now you have the to lie to me about my fucking daughter!" The matriarch pulls Donner by the feathered hair and tugs him down. Knocking both him and the chair over.

"I'm not as gullible as my damn husband is..." She proceeded to place her foot onto Donner's back. "He's the only reason you're still here..." Donner tried to get up but she stomped her foot on his back even much harder than before his face meeting the floor.

"If that imp fucker wasn't around, I'd kill you myself. Spare me almost 20 years of my life teaching you a lesson!" She plants her heel on his head this time. "Abominations like you should never have belonged in this plain." She further twisted the heel further down his head, causing him to grimace in pain.

"I don't need to justify my existence..." Donner growled looking her right up in the eye. "Much less to you madam...Lady Octavia has much of a right to make her own choices...Just as you do..."

With a rage filled hating scream Stella kicked Donner on the side of the head making him roll across the floor. He wasted no time sitting up using the wall to help him stand.

She didn't stop there, pulling him up to his feet, throwing the jacket off of him, turning him around by the wall and ripping the back of his shirt to shreds. The thunderbird realized now; this was gonna hurt. Marching toward the desk Stella opens one of the drawers and pulls out a leather belt. She gives it a good tug and audibly very well heard. "You would betray this family for one girl. So be it!"

"I am doing my duty to protect her..." Donner glared back in response. "And I will continue doing so..."

"Don't look at me..."

Donner still kept his glare focused on Stella. "..."

"Don't look at me..."

"..."

"Don't look at me!" Having enough Stella marched towards Donner who still kept looking her in the eye raising up the belt and slammed it down.

From outside the door, you could hear more loud and violent thwacks including the grunts that followed.

The sound of a light whistle was heard and inside the kitchen we see Merida enter when she did the sinner caught a faint whiff of a very recognizable scent. The smell of tomatoes so she followed where it was coming from, the oven. Opening it, she peered inside to see the cast iron pot.

Curious she grabbed a pair of oven mitts and took out to see what lies inside. She raised an eyebrow humming in curiosity. "Beef Braciole?"

The sinner hadn't had this in who knows how long, she looked around and saw that there wasn't a note, nothing. So she made her finger extend out like a knife and used it to cut a small piece before tasting it.

Instantly she was hit with an abundance of flavors. Nothing too extreme, but simple. Simple enough that it was absolutely delicious.

"Oh God!" She exclaimed in delight. "Who made the breciole? This is great!"

Now determined and having a mission, Merida proceeded to take the Breciole out and to the one place she knew where the answers would be given.

...o...v...v...o...p

At the break room we see Arnold eating lunch with Loretta and Stu where right now the twin brother was voice chatting with Sallie May.

"What do ya mean ya can't make it?"

"I'm sorry but the whole request was so sudden, and I need to put in time. What you want me to lose my job? Can't we just reschedule the thing in a few more weeks?"

"Alright, alright, fine baby. Ok." The wrath imp sighed in defeat.

"I'm sorry, Sallie." He apologized. "Look I promise I'll make it up to you, okay?"

"You better." The imp smirked before putting a tongue against her cheek through indicating something perverted.

He rolled his eyes with a smile while his sister gagged. "Don't worry, I'll make it up. Plus I do have a special surprise as well." He said, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Uck." Loretta gagged in the background.

"I'll take your word for it." Even adding more disgust from Loretta, Sallie licked the screen before kissing it. "Love you~"

"Not as much as I do for you." Stu replied before ending the call sighing in content.

"You know at first I thought the voice chatting was cute. But when you started doing the deed through the screens. It became a horror show." Loretta said in a deadpan tone.

Her twin brother frowned in response. "Have you ever heard of privacy?"

"Have you ever heard of getting your own damn room!?" Loretta retorted back, eating her sandwich.

"So, what's the deal with you Stu?" Arnold decided to change the topic.

"Eh, she's wanting me to visit Wrath and attend a barbeque with her family." Stu replied. "It's sort of a way for me to help get 'integrated' into the family or something around that line."

"Don't those usually involve killing their cattle before you cook the food?" His sister inquired.

"Oh yeah, like the hell hogs you kill them and there's dinner right there." Stu said with a smirk. "Those things produce some mighty fine ribs."

"Well, I wouldn't stop you from having some." The female imp shrugged. "Give me something to kill, sure, just don't see the point in gutting something that's already dead.

"Yeah, point there." Arnold agreed with their logic just as Merida entered the room placing the cast iron pot on the table. "Merida?" Loretta looked at her boss curiously.

"What's that you got there?" Stu looked to the sinner equally curious as his sister.

"Someone decided to cook, and whoever did make an absolutely amazing Beef Braciole."

"Brajole?" Loretta raised an eyebrow in confusion watching as the head maid opened it and they were all hit with a wonderful aroma.

"Would one of you like to taste it?

"I'm in." Stu grabbed a fork to get a little piece. "Who made it?"

"Uh Merida, where did you find that?" Arnold questioned hesitantly.

"In the oven." The sinner turned to him. "Why did you make this?"

"No, Donner did." The hornless imp revealed and just as Stu was gonna put it in his mouth, he paused hearing the avian demon's name.

"I'm out." He passed the fork over to his twin sister.

"Nuh-don't give this to me." Loretta moved the fork away, placing it in front of Arnold. "The last time I had his cooking, I got constipated."

"I still can't believe he took my laxatives!" The one horned imp exclaimed.

"Arnold, you know Donner isn't allowed to cook because of those..." Merida tried finding a word to use to describe and be nice. "'Mistakes'."

"I know, but you said so yourself that it tasted pretty good. So, I'll take a bite at it."

"Nice knowing you." Loretta commented.

"Eh, I've had a lot of things, so I'll give it a try." Arnold takes the fork and the piece that was on there and eats it. While everyone was expecting him to throw up it was actually the opposite. He had big eyes showing how surprised he was nodding his head. "Mmm!"

"Hey, Arnold didn't die..." Loretta blinked in surprise.

"Really?" Stu asked with a raised eyebrow getting a nod back. "Let me see." Arnold passed the fork back and the one horned imp took another piece eating it. "Son of a bitch." He was amazed with the taste. "You sure our Donner made this?"

"I know I was just as surprised as you were."

"So does that mean he can 'you know what' now?" Loretta questioned as she was still unsure about taking a piece of her own and tasted it. She made a face that no one had ever seen before. It was a look where her eyes were wide as dinner plates. Loretta even took another piece with the fork and hummed moaning, enjoying the taste, and texture.

"Ok... Someone please punch me..." Stu smirked before happily giving his sister the request, punching her in the shoulder. "Ow, you fucker!"

"Hey! You asked."

"Wait, where is Donner by the way?" Merida questioned. "I haven't seen him for quite a while."

"Not me." Stu shrugged looking over to Loretta." You?"

"Same."

Arnold frowned, not saying a word. The boney sinner looks to the white imp with concern. "Arnold?"

He sighed before speaking. "She's got him."

"Wait who?" Stu was confused before it hit him. "Oooooh...Oh no..."

"Yeah..." He looks to the head maid with much more concern. "Merida, be careful."

"I'll take your advice to heart." Merida replied back bitterly before stomping off.

Later on that day, Octavia had just returned home. She'd just finished her lessons with a couple of tutors her mother had hired.

Even though she was already being given the best education money could buy, Stella was insistent on making sure her abilities would be fully drawn out. But even at times, the owlette wondered just how much information one can have before their brain exploded?

She paused at the door, sighing a bit. "Home sweet home..." She muttered before entering. When she did, an imp servant greeted her.

"Lady Octavia, your mother requests your presence at once in her private quarters."

The girl raised an eyebrow a little put off by the sudden request. "Uh, what's the occasion?"

"She didn't say." The imp servant replied. "Lady Stella only tasked me with delivering the message to you. I do suggest not keeping your mother waiting. Good day."

Octavia watched as he left even more confused to know why all the sudden her mother wanted to speak with her. Especially the moment when she arrived home. It must've had something to do with her 'failed attempts' on finding her a suitor.

That had to be it, or something else. So with a deep inhale and exhale she walked through the halls to her mothers studies. When she did, Octavia noticed that a few imps came out, with a mop and a few rags that were red. She raised an eyebrow, it couldn't not just be blood. It also could've been like spilled wine or something since some of those drinks were red in color.

Coincidentally enough Stella was at the door watching the imps leave and took notice of her daughter smiling. "Ah, Octavia there you are dear. Do come in."

Still feeling unsure but knowing she couldn't say no the female teen avian demon nodded and proceeded into her mothers office. When she did, Octavia didn't waste any time sitting down.

Immediately Octavia caught notice of a slight dent on the desk. Including a little bit of red staining onto it. It must've been one of the servants that her mother abused. She didn't know which one but felt sympathy for the individual doing her best to mask it.

"Would you care for any refreshments?"

"No thank you."

"Very well." Stella took a seat. "I assume that your new tutors are doing their work correctly?"

"If you mean drilling the same lessons over and over like a sauerkraut. Then yeah." The pink eyed owl sighed.

"It's all for a good cause Octavia, you know that."

"So, you keep telling me."

Stella rolled her eyes at her daughter's attitude. "You'll be thanking me dear at the end result."

"I'll be sure to do that." She leaned back in her seat, sarcasm very much visible.

"Well, I'm pleased to know you're not slacking off on your studies." Stella cleared her throat. "Now, onto why I asked you here."

Reaching into her desk, Stella brought out a bunch of files slamming them onto the wood startling her daughter in the process."Um...what are all these?" Octavia questioned not expecting to see that many files at once. She did her best to hide her dismay.

"Patience Octavia, I'm getting there." Stella readjusted her seating position. "First, this in regard to the failed attempts of finding you a suitor as well as addressing the issue that's getting in the way."

"Oh no..." She groaned, knowing exactly where this was going. "And what is the issue?" Octavia fearfully asked just playing along with this charade.

"There are two reasons why they've been failing. One because you've been showing disinterest and the second of course being your bodyguard."

"Wha-?..." She gawked at her mother's insinuation. "Mum, I've never had interest in any of these guys. Way before Donner ever showed up. And what's he got to do with this?"

"Because even though he's but a lowly servant working under us, his 'reputation' proceeds him."

"So, wait, you're giving me a complaint because some schmucks are fucking pussies over who's protecting me?" Octavia questioned if she was hearing this right. "Even by noble demon standards that'd be the point to ensure safety."

"Yes. But they must ensure that they do so discreetly." The matriarch stated. "That boy has been anything but discreet."

"Discreet? He's been doing his job without fail."

"Insulting potential suitors and threatening your uncle tells me otherwise."

Octavia frowned at this. "One, he's only concerned with my safety and number 2, I know what my uncle says to him. Donner doesn't do anything for no reason at all."

"I cannot overlook that regardless, Octavia." Stella tried to keep calm. This is her daughter, not another plebeian.

"So, what exactly are you trying to propose here then mum? What?"

"I believe that it'd be in your best interest into looking for more better suitable protectors."

"Suitable?" Questioned Octavia.

"Yes, suitable." Stella repeated the word. "There are more than enough proficient bodyguards in hell to keep you safer than him." Octavia glanced over to the files that were nearby and proceeded to push them forward back to Stella. An action of which shocked her mother. "No."

"Excuse me?" The wretched demon questioned, uncertain she heard correctly.

"I said no." Octavia repeated the word. The same word a lot of beings no matter what they were hated here. "I will not need a replacement bodyguard,"

"Octavia...I highly recommend you to consider." Stella was doing her best to keep calm. "You didn't even bother to look through the files of other protectors. Money is no object to any of these suitable demons you choose, I will make sure that they arrive here without question. All to guarantee your safety."

"Well then you can just put those things away, because I'm not interested."

Stella stood up from her chair. "Dear, you may not like what I'm asking, but trust in me. This is all about what's best for you."

"No it's not." Octavia shook her head. "No, it's about how you will look. The rest of the family will look. I don't ask for too many requests, but each time when I think about it, I know that you'd just push them away." She stands up now. "I fully trust the one who's been placed to protect me even at the cost of his life. He's already swore that oath."

Stella's scowl intensified. "I'm not asking you Octavia. Either you choose, or I will, the choice is yours."

"No, this time I get a say in this." Octavia argued back having been fed up with the way her mother has treated not only Donner, her dad, but also everyone else. "I've done everything you asked of me to do, even knowing I can't stand them. Every single time I'm never able to speak my mind. So, my answer is final mum, no."

Stella finally snapped slamming both fists onto her desk causing the top part of the files to slide off. "Dammit Octavia for once, can you just listen to me!?"

Octavia only shook her head in disappointment. She was now embracing some of the 'proper' lessons her mother would give. "If there is nothing else to discuss apart from you lashing out at me. Then we are done here." She stood up and walked towards the door.

"Don't you dare walk away." Stella called out to her daughter. "We are not done."

"Yes, we are." Octavia looked over her shoulder glancing at her mother. "Whatever else you want, I will do. But just because I'm a Goetia doesn't mean I can't have a saying of my own."

"Octavia, don't you dare!" Her daughter ignored her and walked out, closing the door behind it. When Octavia did leave Stella was in a state of shock sitting down to absorb what's just happened. But then her left eyebrow twitched.

She doesn't scream but what she does next was just as predictable. She grabbed the chair from the floor and started swinging wildly at the desk. Each hit denting and cracking them and sending some of the documents flying. Having had it with the desk she chucked the furniture across the room, through and out the window. An audibly girlish scream echoed down below.

But the matriarch wasn't through.

She proceeded to flip over the desk and started swatting books out of their shelves. Stella even grabbed the edges of a nearby cabinet and slammed it down onto the floor breaking whatever was inside and the other contents spilled all over the floor.

She then leaped up from the desk jumping towards the chandelier. Swinging and tugging until eventually the cord broke off and both the avian demon and lights fell to the ground. Leaving herself in darkness, sans the illumination from the broken window.

The older female owl demon began to slowly calm down observing the destruction she had caused to her own study. Her breathing was leveled but full of anger.

Stella was absolutely furious, not only did her plans once again get thwarted, but no matter what she did, the owl couldn't get rid of Donner at all. She has done almost everything she could to provoke him, get him to snap everything, not even her own brother was able to make him break. What's even worse, her own daughter was defending that little shit! He has manipulated her own flesh and blood against her. Meanwhile, her imp sucking moronic husband is encouraging all of this.

Stella knew one thing, that evidently, she had to take matters into her own hands. Personally.

Octavia could not just believe what had happened. Much less what she did, after who knows how many years, this teen owl demon had finally mustered up some courage and stood up to her own mother. Her own mother!

She didn't know whether to celebrate or have a heart attack. Either way this was one of the craziest things she has ever done in her life.

But just hearing that she wanted her to replace Donner, it just didn't sit right with her at all. There was no way she'd ever do that.

The thunderbird has been there for the owl demon ever since he was assigned to her. More than she can say about her previous handlers, that's for sure.

Plus, he became her friend, something she hadn't had in a very long time. Not like the others before, no. He was genuine, not only was he her protector, but also someone that she could very much rely on. Even someone she trusted. Finding an individual like that in Hell was hard enough. So why would she want to give that up to satisfy her mother?

Much less when it seemed like everything, she did never seem to satisfy her?

Octavia wondered how her dad would react when he found out. As she was making her way through the halls, the door leading to Donner's room she saw his door open, and someone emerged. It was Merida who sighed sadly, closing it behind her.

"Merida?" The boney sinner gasped at the princess's sudden presence. "Oh...Lady Octavia." She regained her composure. "I didn't know you returned home."

"Just finished my sessions." She answered honestly.

"Ah well, that's good to hear."

"And had a... 'Discussion' with my mum." This brought a scowl on to the sinner's face

Merida frowned a bit and Octavia noticed this. "How did that go?"

"About as well as you would expect." The girl answered plainly. "What about you though? What are you doing in Donner's room?" The older woman's scowl grew colder at the mention of her. "Merida?" Octavia was really starting to get worried and wasn't liking this. She rarely ever sees the head maid like this at all, like ever. Something was wrong.

"I'm going to discuss this with your father. Just watch out for him, while I'm gone." Merida told the teen, walking off to the Prince's study. However, the sinner paused before speaking once again. "If you do intend to go in there, just...brace yourself..." She knew how close the Goeita princess was with her bodyguard. But ultimately left that decision and whatever else would happen next up to her before continuing.

Uncertain by the implication, Octavia hesitantly peered through the door. What she saw was something she had hoped to never see. Donner was laying on his bed sideways facing the wall and she could faintly make out the white line of bandages. Not to mention on the floor were a few rags that were soaked red. This only indicated one thing, it was blood.

So, with little hesitation Octavia entered the room and closed the door behind her. She noticed how he shifted keeping his back against her. Grabbing a bean bag chair, she sat down.

"...Donner?" She only got a light grunt in response. "You, ok?"

"Still alive..." Donner replied back acknowledging her presence. "So that counts as something..."

"..."

"...How did that thing go? The tutoring?"

"No, don't change the subject..." Octavia cut him off. "What happened?"

"..."

"Donner..." She continued to try and speak with him.

"I don't want you to see me like this..."

Octavia had a good feeling of where he was coming from. He was supposed to be someone that hardly showed any weakness, and this, this was like a moment of weakness. In a very major degree, but despite that she didn't deter away. "Donner, look, I don't care about that. I'm only just worried."

The wounded demon sighed in his position. "Pretty much anyone who isn't Stella's kiss ass is."

"Donner..." She put a hand on his shoulder almost as if it was a way of telling him it was ok. So, with a sigh he sat up and turned around giving Octavia a full display of what he didn't want her to see.

His back was covered in white bandages and very faintly you could see little red stains. But his face had the worst of it. His forehead was completely wrapped up, including some spots around his right eye, including a few cotton cloths against his left cheek, with a few bandages to the side.

Understandably, Octavia was aghast at what she was seeing. Quite frankly this is worse than the last time she saw him take a beating. He looked like some ran him over with a runaway train. "Oh geez..." she covered her mouth.

"It's not that bad."

"Not that bad?!" Octavia looked at him as if he was a fool. "It's not that bad if I bump my head against a cabinet. It's not that bad when I'm sick to my stomach. What I'm seeing isn't bad. It's fucking terrible!" She was stressed.

"Believe me, I've been through worse..." Donner insisted.

"Donner! I don't give a shit if you can tough it out. This is not okay to just brush something like this off. Who did this to you?"

"..." He didn't even bother looking, much less answer and Octavia remembered the dent on her mother's desk with the little red stain. She immediately pieced it together.

Her mother's insistence not long ago... It was starting to add up to the growing pit in her stomach. Her own mother... She did this? The princess knew her mom can be a bitch to pretty much anyone she meets. But this?... She couldn't believe it. How could she know? All the fighting and arguing she started with her father and Donner. What was she keeping from her? "Why? Why would she do that to you?"

"I've been asking the same thing ever since I was brought in." Was his only answer. "I told you, she's been doing that to me for as long as I can remember. She always did get more violent each time I was around you. Then one time when I tried to see if you wanted to play, she blew a very, very bad gasket." He then let a few volts of electricity run through his fingers. "And that was the first time, when 'this' came out. When she gripped me by the hair, I don't remember much, just I was scared, and...let her have it."

Donner let the sparks stop. "Ever since then, when I did that, she'd get much, much more violent. I can always see the hatred in her eyes each time she does." Donner bitterly sighs. "The look on Merida's face every time she sees me like this hurts more than the number of scars and bruises that hag leaves on me."

Octavia just couldn't believe this; her mother was really going this far so much that he'd hurt him? Knowing full well he couldn't fight back due to her status and other circumstances, she deliberately uses those facts to beat him. So much in fact that he's used to it, almost like it was just another regular occurrence. "I...I'm-"

"No. Don't you dare say you're sorry. " Donner cut her off, shaking his head. "You have absolutely nothing to be sorry about. You don't...You're not the one I want to hear the words come out of their mouth. But we both know that'll never fucking happen. All I want is for someone to throw her out the door and destroy everything she believes is valuable to her. But that is just wishful thinking." He sighed leaning back, grunting from the pain in his back.

"I only wish you didn't have to see me like this Octavia...You got enough problems on your shoulders...You don't need anymore...Much less my problems..."

A tear fell from her eye as well as this cold feeling she felt just after telling her mother off moments ago. She couldn't stop it. "Don't... Don't you say that to me Donner. You've helped me through so many of my problems and I've been there for you when you needed me. Now you're just gonna turn your back on all of that. My own mother just told me to look the other way just now! Do you think for one second that I'm going to abandon you? You're wrong!" She pretty much got right up to his face. "I'm tired of being told by everyone to be something I'm not and you aren't telling me where to go. I am!"

If Donner was blushing, he would be right about now as she continued. "So dammit...Whenever you feel like you just want to talk or something...I...I'm right here. Ok? I'm here, you're my friend and I don't want to lose that...I don't..." Donner groaned as he got up and leaned forward letting his wings bring her closer to him as the two embraced with Octavia doing her best to be easy on him. He might not have been able to play with her when they were little, but right now he is glad to be her friend now.

"You really are a stubborn owl, you know that?" Donner told the princess.

"And you're not?" Octavia shot back, making him chuckle. He guessed that was at least one thing they shared in common. As they continued the embrace, the female owl demon caught a faint and very familiar whiff of something. The smell of tomatoes. "What's that smell" She asked.

Donner released her and pointed to the side of the cast iron pot. "Probably that..."

Turning her head she sees the pot. White steam obscuring the interior. "Obviously...What is it?" She walked over to the pot peering into to see the contents. Her face showed curiosity.

"Beef braciole." Donner answered. "It's just beef rolls soaked in sauce."

"It smells really good, did Merida make this?"

"No, I did."

Given what he has told her in the past, Octavia, understandably, didn't believe him. "Bull."

"Nope, roast beef. But that's not as good." He joked, nodding his head at the pot. "Go on, give it a try."

"Uh..." She wasn't so sure. "I don't know..."

Donner suddenly enlarged his eyes like a pet would do, 'the begging' face. "Merida, Arnold, Loretta and Stu tried it..."

"And they're still alive?"

"Yes."

"And nothing happened to them?"

"Not a single bowel has churned."

Octavia sighed in defeat, taking a fork. "I swear if something happens I'm gonna shank you..." She said firmly, glaring at Donner who held up his hands in defense.

"And that's fair..." He responded back.

Taking the fork, she cut a small piece of the piece soaking it in a bit of sauce before slowly placing it into her beak. When she did, her eyes widened in surprise. Octavia didn't move and she let the fork drop to the looks on in worry, fearing that his fortune may be kapot. "Well?" The male avian demon asked nervously as she glanced over to him.

"Donner." She acknowledged the servant. He quivered upon her gaze. "That...was delicious..."

He almost had a heart attack on top of his aching wounds at her words. He asked her. "It is?"

"Absolutely." She picked up the fork off the floor and wiped it off before having another taste. Instantly she moaned, enjoying the blend of flavors that she was getting. "I thought, I'd get sick or something considering the stories you told me and what Merida said. But I'm shocked, pun not intended."

"Oh, thank Lucifer." He sighed in relief. "For a minute, I thought I was gonna mess this up again."

"Well, you didn't." Octavia said as she sat back down onto the bean bag chair. "I don't understand though, why did you make it?"

Donner was now starting to grow a bit squeamish rubbing the back of his head. "Um...I just...I don't know, maybe try to make myself more useful I guess?"

"Useful?"

"Yeah...just be more useful..." Donner straightened himself out letting his wings spread for a moment. "I mean, other than what I'm good at, or rather been taught. I just thought that it'd be a good idea to try and expand my knowledge..."

Octavia blinked in confusion. "I don't understand..."

"Octavia, I was taught to be a faithful servant under this house at a young age. From simple household chores, among a few other things. That also includes being a killer which was also at a very young age, and I'm evidently good at that too. Sick and sad as it sounds, it's true."

He paused for a moment letting it sink in. "And I just thought that since well, you're under my protection that at least I ought to put in more effort to improve...As I said, be more useful."

Octavia blinked in surprise hearing this from Donner of all demons. Then again, with what he has told her before. It actually makes sense. And for that, she actually can respect that.

Even more so, this proved that she made the right choice. Octavia would not trade Donner for another protector. Someone that was legitimately trying to find more ways to please her. Not just as a bodyguard, but as a friend in a sense too.

Otavia then smiled, reaching out her hand gently holding his cheek, the same one that her mother had slapped. Donner was clearly a bit taken by surprise as she was rubbing it.

"You already are." Donner closed his other eye and leaned into the softness of Octavia's hand enjoying the warmth and comfort it provided.

Ironic, he was supposed to be protecting her but yet here she was giving him just that. Donner hid that feeling that was swelling in his chest, feeling his heart race. He knew now for certain and without a doubt, that he loved this girl. He truly did.

Inside of a very fancy looking room we see Octavia's ex suitor, Zane. Currently the cassowary demon had seen better days or rather fall from glory.

He had everything a regular young inspiring noble demon wanted, respect, fame, fortune. Everything, yet he came so close, but failed. The case being, his failed attempt at capturing the heart of the Ars Goeita Princess.

Zane had so many plans to get back with her, but Octavia made it clear that she didn't want a fucking thing to do with him at all.

To make matters worse, he lost in a demon duel. His bodyguard falling to hers. That stupid, small green buck tooth servant. While the video of Donner and Mongo's fight was deleted, others persisted in keeping their own copies of the video. That utterly ruined him, and his family's name.

The very same family who now gave him looks of disappointment each time they saw him. He screwed up their chances of further spreading the influence of the Obscures name. So bad in fact that other teen noble demons found him to be a joke. Not even the female demons who were once swooned over him, showed no interest, much less marrying him to keep the bloodline going.

Zane drank from a wine glass in his hand before growling in anger throwing it towards a wall making it shatter. "FUCK!" The cassowary demon shouted out in anger.

He had everything he could ever ask for. Everything! And that grubby bird stole it all from him. His respect, his goals, even that whore. He ruined everything!

He was huffing and puffing, his breathing was erratic. Then someone else entered, much to his misfortune it was his father who looked at his son with once again a look of disappointment. "Zane...we need to talk..." That was a tone showing it wasn't a request.

"If you're here to belittle me, father, then piss off!" Zane seethed. "I don't wanna hear it anymore."

"Well, you're not in a position to argue with me boy." His father snarled back. "You will sit down and listen to what is going to be said." Zane grunted as he took a seat allowing his father to speak. "I am aware that because of that incident that embarrassed this family is still heavily burdening you. However, you'll be pleased to know that I've come up with a solution to ease the trouble on your shoulders."

"And what oh so brilliant plan do you have in mind, father?" He snarked.

"Simple, I've found you a bride to help carry on the family name."

"You have?"

"Yes I have." He shows him a photo, while Zane was excited, he immediately held back the urge to gag.

"Isn't she lovely?"

"She looks like she licks sewer covers for a living!" Zane was showing signs of not being ok with this as he was still urging himself not to vomit.

"Yes, well, her parents feel the same way." His father sighed. "But, the decision has been made."

"WHAT?!"

"Indeed also, you will no longer be the heir to the Obscures family name. That task has been passed to your younger brother." His father was showing no sign of caring whatsoever.

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?" Zane was beyond furious. "That little shit, doesn't even know the first thing about running our family's business! I've studied my whole life for that role!"

"Well, you should've thought better before you decided to humiliate the family itself."

"I did no such thing!" The disgraced nobleman shot back. "That thing did this to me! And you have the nerve to blame me for this. You always said I was ungrateful, but yet your the one being fucking ungrateful!" Zane exclaimed, finally having enough and jabbed a finger at his fathers chest.

"As I said my decision is-"

BANG!

An audible blast could be heard from the very bedroom, echoing out from the halls. It dies down rather quickly, replaced by a pitter patter of something dripping onto the floor.

As for where the blood came from it was coming from both now the headless bodies of Zane and his father. The empty spots were now gushing up like a fountain before they both fell limp landing on the floor.

The angle changes showing a single bullet hole through the glass that zooms toward where the projectile had come from. Which came from the scope of a blue feline eye. "Two for one go." A thick gruff voice was said as the rifle was hoisted up.

The one wielding the blessed rifle and the one that assassinated Octavia's ex and his father was a feline demon, one that resembled that of a white tiger.

He was wearing heavy duty military grade body armor, with a few pouches for ammunition. It was also decorated with various trophies. Horns, fangs, all sorts of things that belonged to demons this one had killed. His most notable trait being a scar that ran down from his right eye all the way to his jawline.

As he chuckled admiring his handy work, he heard a faint shrill scream in the distance. Evidently the woman of the house found the bodies. So with a sigh he brought out a detonator pushing the button. Within seconds the Obscures castle erupted into a few flashes before becoming engulfed in a massive explosion.

With his job done, the tiger demon proceeded to leave not long before his phone rang. He answered it. "Hello?" He gained a look of surprise. "Ah, hi. What do I owe the pleasure of receiving a call?" He raised an eyebrow showing he was curious. "Oh? A job? No, no. I'm free right now. Give me details." He brought out a pen and notepad and started writing down all the information the one on the phone was telling him about.

"Uh-huh. Ok, and do you have a specific date of when it'll be done? Very well, no problem. It won't be an issue, just give me a call when it's time. Rest assured madam. It will be done. Take care now." He ended the call. He smirked before making another phone call.

"Yeah, it's me, Herne. As you expected, she called." The tiger chuckled in amusement. "I agree. We just need to put everything in place for this job. So, call them up, I might possibly need a little 'help' for this one. Send as many as possible, no exceptions...You were the one who hired me to kill these nobles, and you're doubting me? That hurts, look, I'll do my part, and you do yours...Bye now." He hung up the phone.

The hitman walks away from his current location, a smirk very prevalent on his face showing off his fangs. "This should be interesting." He mumbled. "I guess we'll see if this little birdy is as deadly as they say."

From the screen of the old tv we zoom outwards to see Destiny's bar who was now extremely fat.

"Ooooh boy, that shit sure fucking happened." A very hefty burp escapes their throat, shaking the room up a bit. "Plus, things just got real. Like major real, I didn't expect that to happen either."

Meow-burp

"See neither did Mitty. While our boy Donner might be getting closer and closer to getting somewhere with Octavia, other forces are starting to take motion."

Destiny accidentally falls off the chair. But because of how fat it was, it couldn't get up. So with a sigh and snap of fingers Destiny began to float. "Yeah-yeah, laugh away. I don't care. Hell, if you are laughing then forget me telling you possible spoilers. Because after all, what's a story without some interesting plot twists to spice things up?"

A vomiting noise was heard and Destiny gagged in disgust. "Mitty! Dammit! Those were my favorite shoes!"

Now replying back to reviewers

(Note: if you all thought this chapter was trippy, just wait till the next one. 'don't forget to review if you'd be so kind and awesome enough to do so')

Guest#1. Somewhere around the line, you can bet your ass they will. Won't say when though.

desmond-bot. That's alright, as for Donner revealing the tickets, oh don't worry he will soon enough. Also that's funny comparing, Arnold, Stu & Loretta to three stooges. In Merida's case, she'll have a story to tell later on, seen it and it ok. That's all I can really say. Hope you enjoyed reading the story.

Guest#2. Eh, they already do have a date for it, as it'll be around somewhere near the end of the month there at right now. Just trust me, that thing will be awesome.

The-saiyan-boy. As usual your awesome, thanks for reading.

Marbled-Gold. What are you talking about? That thing has been around longer before Owl House, it's a known fact. Trust me, freakin enjoyed putting Donner in that situation, and the partner laughed his ass off at the suggestion of it since it was from a movie.

As for Arnold's double life, I freakin waited forever and was happy to finally reveal it, if there's one thing I enjoy doing it's always finding a way to make characters stand out all on their own from the others. As for the music happy to hear that, plus you can probably expect more from Gorillaz later on probably. Won't say which, though. Hope you liked this chapter my friend.

Ciel626. Eh, we'll see what happens, but I've already sort of already picked out some songs they'll be doing in the future.

kamenrider13489. No thank you. I know which stories your talking about, but no. I'm good.

Fiddlestonks. C.1. Eh, I forgot that was another fancy name for cooked lamb, yeah I admit I hesitated giving him the name, especially because of the Infamous 'Donner Party' the same group that had to result to cannibalization. But the name ultimately stuck with it, plus it means Thunder, and I needed something simple and easy to use and that's how it came to be. Hope you liked the chapter.

nasapeepolover116. C.2. You mean Mongo? Oh yeah, plus if you thing Donners strong, just wait in the next few chapters.
