Here's the next chapter everyone, I know a lot of you were wanting us to follow up with the episodes of Helluva Boss, but as I said from the very beginning we'll be doing things our way, not to mention since this is a side story, why shouldn't this thing have its own original material to help follow?

Now with that being said, big shout out to PyroJack for helping to write out this story and this chapter. And the many others that are to come. Plus, the new episode for Helluva Boss should be coming out very soon, I'm anxious to know if we'll learn more of Blitzo's past.

😏😏As for this chapter well, pretty sure your gonna like it.

Ok, enough talking from me!

On with the show!

"Hello?... Yes, this is Destiny... Wait? Who's pregnant?"

Right now see the host of the bar sitting in a chair answering the phone. "I'm sorry...but you have to be mistaken. Look I remember what I did with those two, but I don't know when I'm using protection... Unless the other guy did it. Then I'm pretty sure you're better off hassling him than me."

The host retracted its head back to lower down the possible yelling. "Well too bad for you, there ain't no proof. Besides, I'm neither one!" Destiny said before hanging up and slamming the phone down.

Meow

"God if I have to hear another call for child support I'm gonna..." The entity would've continued their tirade had they not spotted the camera. "Oh! Um, hello there. And welcome back."

Mitty the cat rolled its eyes in annoyance. "Shut up cat. I take it many of you are still absorbing what'd just happened to our boy right? Well I'm sure your all as anxious as I am in wondering what'll happen next."

Turning to the TV in front of them they flipped the switch. "So let's not beat around the bush and get you all up to speed."

We first cut to see a few clips of Donner's fight with Herne and his robotic spider. "As you all know, a lot of major shit went down last time. Just after escaping from a massive firefight at the mall. Our favorite thunderbird confronted the giant spider mech alone."

Meow

"Yes, really dumb indeed but you got to give him credit for doing that though."

More clips appeared showing Donner throwing some of his more electrical attacks at the mech. "He didn't deter away and faced it head on. But at least there were some concerned about him."

We cut to see Octavia gagging after walking in on her father taking a bath in his studies much to her disgust. "Whoops! My bad!"

MEOW!

"I'm sorry! Don't be such a drama queen Mitty!"

We now change the clip to show Donner pushing the spider back gradually gaining speed coating his body with electricity before bursting through the mech. "Yet in spite of the odds and size disadvantage Donner triumphed over this battle. But at a price..."

We cut to see Donner falling right onto the table where the family he served was eating much to their shock, especially Stella who didn't expect him to still be alive.

Meow

"Our main protagonist was put through the rutter this time. Though to be honest, I feel that possibly there is more to come. Knowing mommy dearest, she's got something cooking in the kitchen. And it sure ain't garlic shrimp."

Meow

"What, you want some while it's happening? Sure I could go for some myself." The recap stops as Destiny changed the channel.

"Normally, I'd be saying something. But right now, I feel that it'd be best if we all see what'll happen." It motioned over to the old tv. "So shall we then?"

We focus on the old tv zooming in on the screen watching as the title for the story appears.

Helluva Servant. Chapter/Episode 17. The Coming Storm

As of the moment we see a taloned hand stirring a cup of tea. Once the mysterious demon did enough stir it took the cup sipping out of its contents sighing in content. At that exact same moment a set of doors opened much to the demon's annoyance. "What is it?"

"It would probably be in your best interest to turn on the television sir." A middle-aged male imp servant replied. "To the news, specifically."

"What would I care what transpires? Especially if it has nothing to do with me?"

"Unfortunately, it probably would involve you, my lord."

"Me?" The imp's boss inquired. "What could the news be important to me?"

"Something that involves the Ars Goetia."

This seemed to have gotten the gentleman's attention. Furrowing a brow at the implication. "Turn it on." He ordered the butler.

"Yes sir." The imp proceeded to turn on the television and when he did, instantly he was on the news channel. Not one of the major ones involving a certain woman but one specifically for royalty showing another tall male imp only he was a newscaster.

"Now, aside from the very recent occurrences in the Wrath Ring. Apparently in Pride, something else had transpired. Not a Warlord, but something rather much smaller, something else, very massive."

We see multiple cell phone footage showing something speeding through the city with what appeared to be little machines right behind it. Including a very large robotic spider? "The footage you see is right, only three days ago, a machine appeared right near the middle of the Pride Ring itself. Normally in the cases of large machinery, we all look to the overlord Sir Pentious. However, in a small brief interview he declared that this mechanism was not one of his."

More cellphone footage comes up showing whatever was speeding through the city was facing off against the large spider mech head on even throwing electrical attacks at the same time while it was firing off everything it had.

"You know for once you'd be right. Expect thissss ain't one of mine!"

Afterwards we see something bursting through the spider blowing to pieces while something crashed through the streets stumbling to a halt. Many demons gathered including the one with the cell phone videotaping what was going on.

"Now as for the one who faced off against it, is..." The news anchor was heard whispering off screen. "Are you fucking serious right now? What? Ok, if you say so."

The footage shows an exhausted teenage avian demon? An awfully small one too, he had to be around at least the same age as one of his family members was. This boy seemed awfully familiar for some odd reason. "Yep, this kid right here is the one that wrecked it up."

All though it might not appear to be so, the demon watching the tv was growing interested. "Peasant, who is this boy?" The gentleman inquired.

"I've already begun my search.." The imp replied, scrolling through a Hell pad. While doing so, he approached his master. "According to this, his name is...Donner."

"Donner?..." The older demon placed a hand under his chin in thought. "Which branch of Ars Goetia is he part of? Who is his master?"

The imp scrolled through the scroll when he did, his eyes widened in surprise. "He...He serves your son. My lord."

"He does? Which one?"

"Prince Stolas."

"Stolas?... The gay one?"

"Uh...yes my lord?" The imp answered.

"Oh, Lucifer..." The old man groaned. "What did you do to fuck up this time?"

Right now at the Palace we see Merida rolling a cart through the halls. On it was food, and medication. All of it was for Donner of course.

The battle that had happened three days ago took a very large toll on him. His hands were burned from over usage of his electrical abilities, his right wing was also damaged, that meant he couldn't fly for a little while until it was fully healed. The rest of the damage included a few broken bones as well, which included two ribs, and a sprained right leg topped off with scratches and bruises.

Even though Donner was treated with Stolas using the Grimoire, there was only so much it could do aside from healing any serious damage. Donner would have to heal naturally to recover.

So came the periodic check ups that came with each servant, including the former Bone Witch.

Among them included none other than Octavia herself who was relieved to know that her bodyguard was still alive.

To say she was the most worried would be an understatement. Ever since he was brought into the infirmary the poor girl didn't sleep a wink during the first day.

Speaking of the owl princess, nearby she had just come down from a staircase and spotted the head maid. Using this chance she rushed over to her. "Merida, wait up!"

"Octavia, slow down." Merida told the girl. "You run as fast as you do, we'll have another bird to worry about."

"Except there's how many birds you know down here in hell exactly?" Octavia retorted back with a little smirk.

The sinner chuckled at that. "You do bring up a good point Milady, that is true."

"Is that all for Donner?" She looked to the tray in the boney sinner's grip

"Yes. No need to worry, madam. He'll be as healthy as a horse in no time."

"That's good...how is he so far?"

"Right now recovery is going fine. Your father made sure to apply the use of the family's Grimoire to heal the serious injuries. If he didn't..." The sinner didn't even want to think about 'what if.'.

And neither did the owl princess. Whatever he got involved in she hopes to never see again.

"Did you see the news recently?" Octavia inquired, referring to all the big major networks showing footage of Donner's big fight. "Everywhere I go there's been something about it almost everyday."

"Unfortunately, I have, that's not relatively a good thing either." Merida answered. "Your father is already under pressure as is, more attention is drawn to us now."

"With everything that has happened, I'm worried something will happen to him."

Merida smiled appreciating her concern, putting one hand on her shoulder. "Octavia, you shouldn't have to worry, he'll be fine."

"Of course I'm worried, why would I not be?" Octavia sighed, shaking her head. "I-I'm just glad that he's alive."

"As am I." Merida agreed. "As am I."

Turning her attention back to her destination, the head maid proceeded onward. "Come, let us see how he is faring today."

Octavia nodded in agreement and before long they arrived at where Donner was being treated. When they did, the families private nurse emerged giving the head maid an 'A-Ok' before leaving while they entered the room to see Donner reading using a pencil in his beak to help flip through the pages. That was because his hands were still burnt.

"Shouldn't you be resting?" Merida questioned making Donner look over to see who entered. He in return spat out the pencil on his lap. "I specifically recall that you were supposed to."

"I was, but I can't sleep. I'm starving."

"Well luckily for you that's what I came here to do." Merida replied with an amused smile bringing him his tray while Octavia went over to the side.

"How are you feeling?"

"Better now I guess." Donner shrugged. "Still pissed off about my wing though..." He looked towards the said appendage that was wrapped up in bandages. "Can't fly for a while..."

"Well be glad that it's still attached." Merida said in a firm tone. "Much less being able to function properly."

"Trust me." He leaned back into his pillow. "I'm glad to even be alive after all that's happened."

"That and you sort of became more of an internet celebrity overnight." Octavia added. "Again."

The thunderbird sighs in annoyance. Knowing exactly what she means. Killing Zane's bodyguard was the talk of the town. The tarantula attacking him would be on every piece of media in the seven hells. "Please tell me the paparzi isn't going to sneak around here...There fucking relentless..."

"Many have tried." Merida confessed. "Fortunately they could not get past security, least of all me."

Donner appreciated that giving her a smile that she returned back giving him a wink. "Well good news is that you'll be healed in a few more days. So, don't over do it so much alright?"

"Yes mam..."

"Will you need anything else?"

"No, I'm alright. I'm just hungry."

"Well you're in luck." Octavia nudged her head to the food tray nearby.

"Enjoy." With that being said Merida left leaving Donner and Octavia alone in the room together. Donner proceeded to try and grip a fork. But of course because of the state his hands were in, he was having a hard time holding it. Much less trying to pick up whatever he was eating to reach into his beak.

"Donner stop." The heiress told the servant, taking the fork from his grip. "I get that you love to walk things off. But this isn't one of those times."

"C'mon give it back Octavia, I can do it." He tried reaching for the fork, but she kept it out of range. "Knock it off already, give it back."

"Can you hold it up for a minute?" The owl girl retorted.

"Yeah, give it. I can do it."

Her pink eyes look on at his blue gemstones, unbelieving in his words. Still acting tough as always. "Alright go ahead then do it." She gave the fork back to Donner, challenging him.

"Thank you." He proceeded to try and eat. The male avian demon strained himself trying to bring the piece of food to his beak. Just as he was about to, the piece slipped off the fork much to his misfortune.

"You were saying?" She frowned.

Octavia rolled her eyes and took the fork out of his hands and stuck out the fork with a piece of food. "Here..."

Donner in return frowned. "No, I don't need to be fed like that."

"Well you're not gonna be able to do it yourself because of the way your hands are right now."

"Yes, I can." He argued stubbornly.

"Stop being like that."

"Well don't feed me like I'm a damn baby then."

"Maybe if you stop acting like a baby, I won't." Octavia glared at the thunderbird.

Donner scoffed in response, closing his eyes before opening his maw giving her access.

"Was that so hard?"

"Shut up."

She giggled at that response and began to feed him. "Chew slowly..."

"I know that..." Donner replied with a mouthful doing his best trying not to blush with what was happening right now.

'Its already bad enough I'm bedridden but now Octavia's feeding me? Geez, this doesn't sit so well... Gaah! Who am I kidding! This is like something straight out of one of those cheesy anime!' While he was eating he could've sworn that he saw Octavia wearing a nurses outfit much to his chagrin. 'Oh crap, come on don't think like that you sick bastard! She's just being nice, that's all!'

"See?" Octavia smirked. "Nothing wrong with asking for help once in a while."

He turned his head away trying to push those thoughts out of his head, confusing her in the process. "What's wrong with you now?"

"Nothing!" He didn't look at her, the teen's blushing cheeks visible from his feathers. "Just too much white for my taste." Donner mumbled the last bit to himself.

"White?" She tilted her head in confusion. "Huh?"

"Never mind that! Just give me some food." The green bird told the owl princess, his cheeks still very pink.

"Ok." She shrugged her shoulders in response continuing to feed him and while doing so, at the door you could see the twins peaking through the creak of the door. They watched the whole thing from the start.

"Damn..." Stu whispered.

"I knew it." Loretta uttered knowingly.

"What are you two doing?"

The twins yelped in surprise, turning to see who was behind them. Looking up from the talon, they looked at their prince in his red eyes. His curiosity and suspicion on display.

"M-Master Stolas..." Loretta composed herself. "Wh-Do you need anything sir?"

"Nothing at the moment." Stolas shakes his head; his attention is directly at the imps and the cracked door. "I was hoping to see what Donner was doing. But it would seem I'm not the only one."

"We-Well he's doing ok for now we were just checking in on him." Stu started to back away. "By the way sis, wasn't there something else we were supposed to do? We wouldn't want Merida to be mad at us right?" He asked nervously.

"Um yeah," Loretta caught on to her little brother's words. "She said we're needed in the ballroom for something important."

"So, we gotta go, bye sir!" The two of them made a break for it.

"Odd? I don't remember her saying anything about that." Stolas pondered briefly, shaking his head out of the thought, deciding to see what had the twins so nosey to begin with.

"Don't scarf it down like that." He heard her daughter's voice.

"Well come on, don't hold back." Donner replied back.

The owl prince gasped at the sudden notion, deciding to see through the crack at the door. From what he's seeing Octavia is feeding Donner and he wasn't really enjoying it.

"Come on, don't give me that crap."

"Well how would you feel if you were force fed by your dad?" He retorted. "I can't stand broccoli."

"Hey, it's not fun for me either. But Merida told you to eat all your food."

"And who died and made you a wet nurse?" The green bird argued.

"Just shut up and eat it!" She shoved the fork into his mouth much to his disgusted chagrin while Stolas was doing his best not to laugh holding it in.

"I hate you." Donner grumbled.

"Oh, don't be like that. Look, you eat all of it, and I'll bring you whatever flavor you want from that 'secret stash'." Octavia replied with a teasing smile while he frowned.

"Just give me that nasty crap."

"Strawberry?"

"Please!"

Stolas smiled seeing this and decided to leave holding his beak to try and cover the incoming urge to laugh from seeing the two interact. Once he got far enough away, he finally hooted in a fit of laughter.

"Something amusing you, master?" He turned around to see it was Merida.

The owl prince squawked in surprise, turning to see the head maid before him. "Merida! Don't do that!"

"It's not my fault you weren't paying attention..." The sinner said in a flat tone.

"W-Well what is it?" Stolas composed himself. "Is there something you need or need to perhaps inform me about?"

"I just received word on two things. The first being the 'special delivery' for tomorrow just arrived."

"It has?" The boney woman nodded in confirmation. "Excellent!"

She then frowned at something, and Stolas noticed this. "Also...there's something else...The second thing..."

"What's the matter?" He inquired.

"You have a call waiting on you..."

"Who is it?" She leaned up to his ear and upon hearing her answer his eyes widened in surprise before frowning. "Is he now?"

"Unfortunately." The former Overlord answered, unhappy with this information either.

Stolas scoffed at this. "And what does he want?" He asked bitterly. The very person he was speaking about hardly ever speaks to him at all. Hell, they haven't spoken to each other in years so why now?

"To discuss what happened in the last three days."

"I see..." He proceeds to walk through the halls with Merida right behind him.

"I must apologize, my prince." She sighed. "Had I known things would be this complicated, I would not have let him go."

"Neither one of us expected this to happen." Stolas told his most loyal servant and one of the many he considered his friend. "Someone hired the assailant to kill him. Without a doubt it must be one of the other family branches."

"They deny those accusations."

"That they do, but this is something we cannot overlook." The two of them enter Stolas office, specifically a special room with a large flat screen. "If he does know something, we must find out."

Getting himself in position to sit, Stolas turned to Merida. "Patch us through, I want to get this over with."

"Yes sir." Meria proceeded to turn on the television and when it did you could see a loading symbol. This was showing that they were starting to patch through to the one who wanted to call them.

Within a few seconds we see the imp from earlier. "Ah, good. My lord Prince Stolas has just answered us."

"Bring it over here Clive." The voice from earlier spoke up and that's what the imp did. We turn to a camera that moved onto the one who spoke.

Stolas glared at the one who wanted to speak with him.

He was a very tall avian demon resembling a great horned owl with raven-like features, with black feathers over his body and larger feathers pointing upwards to resemble horns.

He had glowing red eyes with white pupils, and a white face reminiscent of an eye mask that bears intricate red sigils. He wears a long crimson cloak with a pale maroon upper section and gold trimming that covers his body, along with a hood that goes to about his chin and a small beard made from gray feathers showing his age. On his head is a golden crown decorated with a golden Goetic symbol and star ornaments on the points on top.

As for who this was, this was Paimon Goeita, the King of Ars Goetia itself. The head honcho and Stolas's father.

"Hello Stolas..."

"Father..." The prince crossed out his arms, greeting him back.

"Why the hostility?" Paimon questioned. "I was sure you'd be pleased to see your only good old dear daddy son."

Stolas sighed, shaking his head. He hasn't changed not one bit. "Well considering you haven't spoken to me in a number of years, can you not blame my reason?" He turned to Merida. "How many years was its Merida?"

"Eighteen and a half, and still counting." The sinner confirmed.

"It's been that long?" Paimon questioned. "I was quite sure it was sooner than that."

"No, it has not been." Stolas confirmed with much annoyance. "Now what do you want, father? You wished to speak with me on a certain matter, so speak."

"Well, it's about that ugly bird of yours." The neglectful father went right to the point.

"He has a name." Merida chimed in annoyance.

"Of course, he has a name, Mary! It just escapes me."

"Merida..." The sinner corrected him in annoyance, sharing a glance with Stolas.

"It's Donner, father?

"Dinner?"

"No, Donner!" Stolas corrected the old bird before spelling out his name. "D-O-N-N-E-R. For fucks sake, your 'good memory' hasn't changed at all either."

"Neither has your manners, son." Paimon shot back.

"Oh gee, I wonder where I got that one from." Stolas returned.

"Anyway, I wish to discuss your servant and what he has done."

"What has he done? What else is there to discuss other than him defending himself?" Merida chimed in again. "Not to mention taking care of a potential threat to this household."

He glared at the nuisance in his line of sight. "Yes, yes, impressive display of power indeed. However, it's not just that, I'm talking about the numerous controversies that's been caused to the Ars Goetia name through his antics."

"Of course, it does." Stolas sighs, almost seeing this coming a mile away. "I didn't really take you for being one to be concerned, much less care for a matter such as this."

"Well, I do care about my affairs. When someone is partially responsible for the destruction outside, it becomes my business in the name of the Goetia Family." Paimon made it clear. He then snapped his fingers and right then his assistant Clarence came up next to him. "Servant, name the number of actions that and allegations that have been on the rise resolving around Dopey."

The posh butler pulls out a list from his vest, reading through the catalog of crimes the thunderbird is guilty of, supposedly. "The list includes scaring off potential marriage candidates. Causing trouble for other nobles, numerous amounts of property damages charged towards the family. Not to mention other 'rumor's' regarding the bodyguard of Lord Paimons granddaughter, and the heir of the Goeita name itself. Bottom line the list goes on and on."

"So, there's my reason, satisfied with my reason now?"

Stolas rolled his four eyes. "We've already made it clear that most of the damage caused by that battle was in self defense. Not to mention Donner only managed to come out of that one alive."

"He's still alive?" Paimon naturally sounded genuinely surprised. "Huh, unexpected."

Stolas put both hands together. "Were you the one that hired the hit to kill him? Answer me."

Paimon raised an eyebrow hearing this accusation. "Yes, I'd like to know for myself as well Lord Paimon." Merida added. "The same goes for the rest of the household itself."

"What? You think that I have anything to do with what happened? HA!" The older avian demon asked as his son's glare did not disappear. "I'll have you know that I had nothing to do with that whatsoever."

"And why should we believe what you have to say?" Merida inquired. "When something doesn't go your way, you tend to do it yourself, especially when it comes to your ego."

"Stolas, you really ought to have Margret be reminded of her place." Paimon said, shaking his head. "I know that I put her under your service all those years ago. But you continue and neglect to do so."

"That maybe, but there is a reason why I do trust her..." Stolas reminded him. "Allowing her to be of service was only one of the few good things that you actually did."

Paimon sighed a bit. "We're getting off topic."

"Well, I see no further point in talking with you then."

"We are not done talking yet..." Paimon said firmly. "There is much to discuss."

"And what would that be?" Stolas questioned. "Because unless there actually is something, we are wasting each other's time."

"I mean putting a leash on that boy." Paimon elaborated. "Something needs to be done!"

Merida glanced over to her master looking concerned and having a bad feeling of where this was going. "Just what exactly are you suggesting father?" Just saying that one word made Stolas want to puke.

"A reminder of where his place belongs." Paimon said firmly. "I'm sure you know what I speak of."

"I hardly have a thing to worry about whenever it concerns Donner." Stolas said in a calm attitude. "That fight alone proves he's more than good enough to protect my daughter, your granddaughter."

Paimon chuckled in amusement. "Is this going to be a repeat of what happened with your old pet?"

The owl prince glares at his father, having the nerve to call someone he knew dearly a pet. Merida certainly didn't take kindly to his choice of words either. "Don't you dare say that to me again..."

"Excuse me?" The head of the Goetia Family leered into his son's eyes, expecting a different answer.

"I said...don't say that again..." Stolas repeated himself. "I don't care what you think, or how it might've been, you do not get to say that..."

"How dare you speak to me in that tone?" The blood red eyes glared at the owl.

"No, don't you dare threaten me." Stolas glared back. He put up with a lot of his dads shit for a lot of time, even when he finally realized how Paimon felt about him. His family was his concern, including those he called friend, and it just so happened, Stolas's father crossed a line. "I'm not a naive little boy you could use anymore. When your granddaughter was conceived you barely acknowledge Octavia, you don't see her as a grandchild, you see her as a product to secure your future. So don't give me that same lecture I've heard for years."

Stolas then gets up and walks to the screen. "You didn't give any ounce of crap about who I was forced to get married to. The only thing that came out of that was my daughter. That's the only thing I'm thankful for."

"Yet you seem to disappoint her just as much as you did with this family." Paimon spoke. "Sleeping with an imp, allowing that fiend to be close to your daughter, my granddaughter. You have always been a disappointment." He cleared his throat. "Now, with that being said, either you do something to keep him under control." He leaned towards the screen. "Or I will."

"I'll make a note of that." Stolas replied back. "As long as Octavia is safe, I don't care what you or anyone else says on that matter."

The neglectful father stares at his son, foolish to the end. It's a wonder his reputation is going down the drain. Seeing no way to change his mind, he scoffed at the owl demon. "Have it your way." Paimon sat back down sighing. "Honestly, why you choose to keep him baffles me. All you're going to have is nothing but trouble with that one."

"I'll take my chances, Father." Stolas hung up the voice chat making the owl demon groan rubbing his temples. "Merida, please grab me the strongest brand we have."

"Are certain, my prince?" Merida asked with concern.

"Yes, asap. Please."

Frowning at this development, she reluctantly bowed and complied. "As you wish."

As she left Stolas was perplexed by that, his father hadn't contacted or spoken to him since Octavia was born and now he decides to butt in because he's worried about the family name? Much less having the nerve to say what he'd just said.

The prince sighs in utter frustration. After everything he thrusted upon him as a child, he never really gave him much thought. No doubt any of his stepfamily feel the same.

All he had were just a handful who saw him for who he was and the others who were very loyal to him to the end. Donner of course being one of them. He sighed sadly looking up at the ceiling. Oh how he wanted to tell him the truth, but he couldn't. Stolas made a promise, one he had kept for seventeen years since both children were young. It might've been a selfish last request, but he held onto it. Only problem was, trying to not break it. That ate at him for quite a while now.

Later on in the day, we see Donner watching some random tv show. Only minutes ago Octavia had left and right now he was just going through his thoughts.

As for what, being what had transpired in the last couple of days. First going from fun times with the Princess of Hell who was actually so much nicer in person, to almost dying in a fight against a big robot.

He kept thinking to himself, if he fell, would he really have gone after Octavia? He didn't know what to think. Not only that but it was also tomorrow that made him a bit squeamish. Tomorrow was the day of his birth.

It's a big day to look forward to and he can't even stand up straight. So in both ways he's excited and frustrated. Something the thunderbird doesn't like in a combo.

But it wasn't just that, every year it happened, there was always that one lingering thought in the back of his head. Who was his birth mother? He knew Merida was his mother, she raised him as a hatchling doing the same Octavia when she was hatchling too. Sure he's shoved it aside, however every once in a while, the thought itself surfaced.

What ever happened to her?

Why was he even brought to the mansion in the first place? He recalled him trying to Merida, but she always changed the topic with something else. He even recalled trying to ask Stolas one time as well, but he always didn't know how to respond for some reason.

Same goes for Bruns, everyone seems to have the answer, but they don't want to share them.

Why? What are they so afraid of telling him? What can be so important for them to be silent?

Sighing to himself Donner turned off his tv and his eyes were beginning to close. Since there was nothing else to do, he figured to just go to sleep and at least try to have some excitement for tomorrow.

XXzzzzXXXX

Donner found himself in what appeared to be some sort of bright, reddish, orange environment? He couldn't really tell, hell he couldn't even open his eyes.

Wherever he was, it felt warm, pleasant. Almost quiet, save for a low, melodic hum of something. He didn't know where it was coming from but the vibrations he felt around, brought a sense of comfort to him. He didn't know why.

'This dream again...' Donner recalled this every once in a while. He shared it with anyone before, the young avian always kept it to himself. 'What is it about this dream? It just feels comforting, and familiar.'

He couldn't make out what it was, but something large and black was placed up against him. It felt nice, and there was so much warmth behind it.

'Every time I always saw it, I always tried to reach out for it...But I was too small, too weak to do anything.'

Yet even in this state, he didn't feel alone, nor powerless. Why is that? Who is outside?

Every time it was near, he always heard something. It was singing? Yes, it was singing, very faint, but somehow he was able to make out what it was.

Couldn't possibly be any song he's familiar with. Yet for some reason, it didn't matter to the green bird. He was at peace.

…VVVVV…

Right now inside of Donner's room he was sound asleep and someone sneaked inside chuckling madly.

Tip-toeing into the room the one who snuck in was Stu who tiptoed over to Donner's side of the bed. He was doing his absolute hardest not to laugh. He pulls something out of his back pocket and gives it a very gentle shake.

It was an air horn with a victorious smirk he slowly brought his finger down on the item. However before he could do so. "Don't even think about it." Donner spoke up, suddenly startling the imp with the broken horn.

The mono-horned imp yelped in surprise flailing around with the noise maker in his hands. Finally catching it, but he accidentally squeezed the air out in his face and the noise blew at him making him yell in fright. He didn't hesitate to run out the door.

Donner scoffed lightly, opening his eyes, groaning a bit. "Guess that's one way to say happy birthday in the morning." He said sitting up groaning a bit in the process trying to straighten himself up.

"Oh yeah, that's right I'm still bedridden. I'm so gonna prank the shit out of Stu when I get the chance." The teen avian said with a smirk wondering what he'd come up with.

At least once he's healthy enough to move around again. Standing up Donner groaned a bit, stretching up his arms rather slowly. He sighs a bit, the teen avian hadn't been this bed ridden after a fight in a number of years. The last time he got like this was at least when he was eleven years old and around that year he was finishing up some of that 'special training' with Bruns which involved killing something that almost made him kick the bucket. However, when he survived that fight, it was another step towards progress on surviving.

Evidently what happened days ago were signs showing that it paid off. Never once did he question the reasons why, just only that he was told it was for his own good. Hell itself was a cruel place, it wasn't teddy bears and rainbows no. It was an infernal pit of torment that would swallow you up unless you were able to fight back.

The bottom line being, aside from having smarts the other most important thing was power. Power was everything down here, it helped you live, and so many other things.

While sighing in content he turned around smiling in confusion? The reason being was that Octavia had brought in a small tray that had breakfast. "Good morning."

"Morning...appreciate the breakfast. But you didn't need to bring it."

"I know I wanted to." She replied putting the tray on the bed. "Also, Happy Birthday."

Pulling out the lid off the platter, Donner gasps in delight at what's in front of was a stack of chicken fried steak. All smothered in gravy! The thunderbird couldn't help but reach out for the meat were it not for the stinging in his hands.

"You are lucky you brought this to me, otherwise I'd be mad." Donner said as he whipped away any incoming drool in the process.

"That's what I'm here for." She smirked in amusement.

"You don't have to keep feeding me. Plus..." He gained a sheepish look. "What if 'you-know-who' walks in?"

"If she does, I won't let her touch you." The owl princess frowned, not wishing to remember what she witnessed from her experience. Much less deal with her mellow drama now.

"Ok, and what about your dad? Don't want him to have the wrong idea."

"What other idea is there?" She retorted. "You can't eat normally so I just decided to help. Dad would understand."

"I'm just saying..." Donner shrugged in response.

"It's your birthday, Donner. Relax. And open wide." Octavia presents the sliced piece of fried meat in front of the thunderbird, being mindful of the dripping gravy.

"Fine." He opened up his beak and accepted it, chewing slowly and moaning enjoying the texture and flavor. "So good...Who made this?" The green bird beamed at the owl girl in front of him.

"Merida did, and I helped out." She replied, feeding him another piece.

"Really?" He looks at the girl a little impressed.

"I know a thing or two, you know." The princess teased. "So you're excited?"

"No, not really..." Donner replied as he finished chewing. "I used to be, but now I'm getting older."

"I know that feeling." Octavia frowned knowingly.

"I know I have to get old someday, but it doesn't mean I have to like it."

"Though the only upside is that I can do a lot more things." The thunderbird tried to lighten up the mood.

"Such as?" She inquired, raising an eyebrow and feeding him another piece.

"Well, there is that nightclub Miguel has been meaning to invite me to at some point."

"Didn't take you for the type to be into those."

"I'm not but eh, I'll go and see it just out of curiosity. But that won't be for a while."

"By the way, how old are you turning again?"

"Seventeen." Donner replied as he bit down on another bite of his breakfast that she was feeding him.

"Oh yeah..." Octavia blinked in realization. "You know sometimes I keep forgetting that you're a year younger than me."

"Seven months apart actually." Donner clarified.

"Still, way older than you." The owl princess smirked, without a care in the world.

"And don't care." Donner rolled his eyes in response as he continued eating. 'Plus, I don't...mind at all...'

"Hm?"

"What?" Donner noticed her giving him a look.

"Did you say something?" Octavia tilted her head.

"Nope did not." Donner denied as Octavia fed him the last bite before slurping down the contents of a beverage that was provided. "Thank you by the way. Sorry for the trouble..."

"No trouble at all." The owl princess shrugged. "You're my friend. It's the least I can do for you."

Donner smiled at this and watched as Octavia left the room. "I'll be back in a bit." She left the room and he sighed.

"Why does she have to be so cute?" Donner asked himself with closed eyes leaning back into the pillow he was using. "You really need to watch what you say, Donner." He argued with himself. "Had anyone heard that, you're screwed."

"Heard you say what?" A familiar voice said, making him jolt up to see it was Merida standing at the doorway looking a bit confused.

"That... Ummm..." Donner stammered for words. "I may plan to use my vacation time at some point." He lied... Mostly.

"Oh?" She walked into the room. "Where at exactly?" The sinner questioned as she sat at the edge of the bed.

"Umm... I don't know." He shrugged uncertainty about his options. "Maybe at a resort or something. A nice warm beach somewhere, I don't know."

"Just anywhere that's sunny and doesn't have to worry about someone killing you...Got one place in mind, but others would laugh at the idea."

"Why would they laugh?" Merida inquired, looking at her foster child with concern.

"It's because of the location itself."

The boney head maid raised a brow at this, now even more curious. "Where is it exactly?"

Donner turned away in embarrassment. "Hawaii..."

"Hawaii?" She tilted her head, not sure she has ever heard of it.

"Yeah, Honolulu Hawaii, I've seen pictures of it for years, on the internet, movies, pictures. Everything..." Donner glanced around and spotted his phone. "I got a photo of what it looks like on my phone."

She grabs the phone and unlocks scrolling through and found what he was talking about. It showed a city that had a massive large gorgeous tropical beach right near the Pacific Ocean itself. "Oh wow, this is nice...I can see why. But help me understand, why there?"

"I've never been to the human world before, and I thought that if I was going to, I'd want my first time to be memorable." Donner replied. "There are others but this place just caught my attention the most."

"Are you certain?" She asked him curiously. "The human world is far more different than what I recall. I know of your glamor, but still I worry for you."

"Again with the glamour." He groaned, at the word."But come on, what do you have to be so worried about? You know I can take care of myself Merida."

"I understand..." The sinner sighs longingly. "I suppose I miss the times I've spent with you as that adorable boy I knew."

"I wasn't adorable. I was ugly."

"Not to me."

"Disagreement." Donner replied. "So what's the scenario right now? Am I able to get out of the room today or what?"

"So long as you do nothing strenuous and you continue to relax. You may be able to move."

"Alright, fair enough." Donner agreed before stepping off of the bed with Merida right behind him. "I'm just gonna walk around for a bit."

"Do be careful, love." Merida warned the servant.

"Yes mom." Donner replied sarcastically with a smile making his way out of the room.

When he did Merida instantly got happy putting both hands on her cheeks smiling and giggling which was a rare sight most would ever see her be in. "He called me mom..." The sinner continued giggled happily holding both her cheeks and outside other maids and butlers watched this go on gossiping with one another.

"Whoa...This is...almost scary..."

"I don't know what to say..."

"I think my brain just overloaded..."

Upon noticing the staff staring at her. Merida's demeanor switched on a dime. "What are you all gawking at? Back to work!"

Instantly the butlers and maids who were gossiping instantly rushed off wanting to avoid the possible punishments they'd received from the former overlord. Merida scoffed a bit. "I used to be human, don't blame me for acting this way..." She muttered to herself in annoyance.

…..vvvv...

We switch to see Donner making his way through the halls and while doing so an imp butler passing by gave him a fist bump. "Yo Donner, right on man."

"Uh thanks?" The teenage avian replied not leaving him hanging.

"Right on."

Nearby other female imps walked up right by him giving him winks much to his surprise blinking to be sure he saw what he saw. Seeing that reminded him of that damn dream of when he and Stu's medication got swapped.

He shivered a bit trying to shake that memory off, grunting at the same time remembering he was still hurt. The fact that his real kiss was stolen by Stella in the dream, which was fucked up. But he was sure since it was a dream it didn't count.

Thankfully some of the aches in his ribs distracted him from the memory. Painful as it may be, it helps. But it's truly strange to see many of the staff praising him like this.

"What the fuck is going on? Nothing about what happened was good, I could've died..."

"But you're still here with us." He heard Loretta's voice and saw her along with Stu.

"Yeah, and because you're still breaking the internet, again." He said as the twins walked up to him.

"Again with this crap?" Donner groaned at this.

"C'mon cheer up, you make it sound like it's a bad thing."

"It is a bad thing if everyone and their mother knows what I can do." He stated. "The whole point of my line of work is to ensure the family's safety, not parade around a cheap Metal Gear knock off."

"Maybe so, but what you did was bad ass." Stu commented patting him on the back making Donner winch in pain. "Ooh, sorry."

"He's not wrong, you know." Loretta backed up her twin. "So why are you out of bed? Shouldn't you be resting?"

"Merida figured I could stretch my legs out a little bit." The thunderbird shrugged. "Was getting tired of lying in bed anyway."

"Well we'll accompany you then." Stu said. "Think of us as your own personal rentable bodyguards for the day."

"Say's the guy running around with an air horn." He jabbed the younger imp.

"Stu, the hell you do?" Loretta questioned glancing over to her twin brother.

"I just thought that maybe he could use a wake up call."

"And you do realize I could've roasted you like a bug zapped right?" Donner questioned.

"With a broken end of a chicken wing maybe." The white faced imp grumbled.

"I can do it right now." Donner threatened giving off a few sparks.

"Please don't." Stu pleaded.

They started to make their way through the halls and in the process they stopped by the window.

Outside they saw in the distance a massive group of demons all having camera's all sorts of things, many of them demanding entry but were being held back by staff members including the security hounds.

"How long have they been there?" Donner questioned in curiosity.

"Days." Loretta glared out at the entrance. "You'd think these assholes have somewhere else to be by now."

"Not to mention they've been relentless in trying to get in inspite of not taking no for an answer." Stu added.

"I actually caught a guy sneaking in once. Poked him in the ass with a banana." Loretta remembered one of the attempts.

"Like literally speaking?" Donner questioned. Stu actually snorted at this, knowing full well she wasn't joking.

"No bullshit, he was up a ladder one night and he was trying to find your room. I was out eating a late night snack. Lucky for me, not so much for his sphincter." Loretta detailed her story. "So I grabbed the banana, climbed up the ladder and then WHAM!"

Stu laughed hearing this. "Oh yeah, oh shit. The face he made was priceless!"

"Oh so you know from experience huh?" Loretta said with a smirk.

"Like you've gotten that far?" He jabbed back

"I've been on both ends and I've been on both tops." Loretta replied in a flat tone. "You mostly end up in the back."

"Ok, do I seriously have to listen to this right now?" Donner questioned not wanting to get caught up in their talks about their sex lives.

Right then we see something coming right towards the window. They squinted to see what it was but suddenly, something splattered against the window. Naturally the trio were startled because right up against the glass was an Imp. A very small one with a very crazed look in his eyes which looked more creepy since his face was all smudged against the glass.

"I've found you~!" The imp grinned sinisterly.

"Get out of here!" Stu exclaimed in annoyance.

"I have questions~!" He persisted.

"Well here's your answer." Loretta proceeded to pull a revolver from under her dress and aimed it directly at his forehead between the glass. "Beat it!"

"Oh come on! Just a few minutes of his time!?" She cocks the hammer back. "A few seconds?"

He didn't get a response but instead he slid off the glass dropping to the ground. "That takes care of that." Stu said with a scoff. "Geez, these guys are as bad as fucking rats."

"Spoken like a true fraidy cat." Loretta scoffed, uncocking the gun and hiding back under dress.

"Hey fuck you about it." Stu said as they continued walking. "I swear, I probably couldn't leave the mansion and meet up with Sallie without getting hounded by those assholes."

"Doesn't help that I can still hear you and your disgusting foreplay." The older twin argued.

"Hey gotta roll the dice sometimes."

"Ewe." Donner gagged. "I'm still right here dammit..."

"Our bad." Both twins said in unison and then much to their dismay the three of them saw Stella walking up ahead of them. "Oh crap." The two whispered at once.

"You have some nerve walking around these halls." The avian demon scowled.

"It was suggested that I shouldn't stay in bed for so long milady." Donner bowed, putting up his act. "I am nearly at full recovery, staying in one place and deuterating myself would not be good. I must resume my duties soon as possible."

"After all the trouble you've put this family through, you should be burned at the stake!" Stella screeched at the injured thunderbird, completely ignoring the twins.

"But if I had not done what was needed, the family would've been in danger. I'd gladly do it again." He looked up to her in the eyes. "Without hesitation."

The impulsive wife glares angrily at the thunderbird. Almost wishing to strangle him right then and there for such a threat. But she refrained. The shrew had other matters to deal with.

"Very well then." Stella took the answer. "Carry on." She walked off.

She proceeded to leave and as soon as the woman was out of their line of hearing. Loretta couldn't help but speak up. "Well, that's different."

"Odd too." Stu added.

"Normally when you do something, she'd try to rip your beak off." The older twin noted.

"That's for sure." Donner agreed as they continued on.

"Jeez, good acting man." Stu commented. "You'd fit into one of those theaters dude."

"Yeah, but you got to keep in mind he's just doing that because he has to." Loretta reminded him. "Do you think he enjoys it? I know I sure as fuck don't."

"Neither would I." He agreed. "Personally I'd rather take that finger and stick it up to where the sun don't shine."

"And deal with the other shit that can come along from it? Yeah, I'm not so sure about that." Loretta said.

"Would you rather deal with her every fucking day, bitching about everything?" He argued.

"If she wasn't such a bitch and that nice bod of hers then maybe." The female twin shrugged.

The two of them glanced over to Loretta being sure if they heard right. "What? Just saying, like there's not anyone else who has that same idea?"

"Only a couple of times but that's it." Stu replied while Donner held back the urge to vomit.

"I'll pass." He gagged.

"Hey Donner, since it's your birthday, do you have any plans in mind?"

"I did, but unfortunately, because of the circumstances I had to cancel those plans." The avian replied.

"That sucks." Loretta noted.

"But I'm sure I'll figure something out." Donner rolls his shoulders carefully, making sure not overexert.

They all hear a loud groan and turn over to see Arnold who looked annoyed as he trutted hornless imp looked like he just got attacked. "What happened to you?" Stu asked a very stupid question.

"Those assholes outside hassling me." The white imp stated. "They even tried latching onto my damn car like zombies! Putting their faces all over the windows and everything!" The trio collectively cringed at the description. These guys are incorrigible.

"Don't those chumps got like other things to do?" Loretta questioned. "Like I don't know, hound their own asses?"

"I could probably name hundreds of things, but we'd probably be here all day." Stu commented. "By the way Arnold it's Donners birthday. You didn't forget right? I almost did."

The grounds keeper widened for a moment. Felling around his clothes to check on something, he may have forgotten. When he felt something in his back pocket he sighs in relief. "Thankfully, I didn't."

"Good for you, because Stu spent all last night trying to find whatever he lost." Loretta said much to her twin brother's annoyance.

"Oh yeah, also Donner here you go." Arnold reached into his overalls pulling out a small envelope. "Someone asked me to give this card to you."

Arnold passed it over to him. "Loretta could you?"

"Sure..." She opened it up for him. "Oh, it's from Lady Charlie. This is one of those cards that records."

Donner opened the card and he heard Charlie's voice. "Hi Donner, hope you're getting better. I saw the news and am super glad you're ok. Also happy birthday. If we get the time, we might send you something later on. Either way, we're thinking about you bye! Ok, Vaggie, would you mind taking this card away from me? I got this stuff to do."

"Sure." The sound and walking was heard followed by a door being closed and then the sound of whistling? Not to mention another familiar voice being heard, one that Vaggie disliked greatly.

"Heya cheese tits! What's that you got there?"

"None of damn business!"

"Then why's your gal pal talking to it huh?"

"Is it like one of those secret lesbian things?

"Get the fuck out of here, you araña estúpida."

"Oh c'mon Chica, let me in on the secret. You know I can do both. Even though I'm mostly on one side."

"Fuck off! I'm warning you."

"Or what? Come on, Angel Dust won't dabble a bit on whatever you're planning in the bed."

"Donner close the card." Loretta said and he did just that.

"Eh, I'm sure it worked out ok." Donner said as he passed it over to Stu who out of curiosity opened it.

The sounds of angered screaming and choking mixed with laughter was heard from the card. "Both of you stop it!" Charlie's voice was heard for one last time from the card.

"At least she knows how to deal with a problem." Stu spoke up.

"Well anyways, Happy Birthday Donner, I'll see you later today." Arnold said before walking off to do his job.

"Be careful out there." He warned the grounds keeper.

"Will do." He replied back as the three continued on until they were outside and in the distance you could hear the sounds of heavy construction in the distance. Donner instantly knew the reason why they were there. "I didn't realize how much damage was caused through that fight."

"It's hard to tell when a giant spider's chasing you across a single Ring." Loretta chimed in.

"Not to mention Overlords get into it all the time. So that sort of thing is normal." Stu added. "On the bright side though, repairs are a lot faster when stuff like that happens."

"Still can't believe how much buzz is generated from this crap." The injured thunderbird glared at the sight ahead.

"Is what it is." Loretta shrugged. "This is Hell."

"That's for sure." Stu agreed.

"Ain't no rest for the wicked." Donner sighs.

"Whenever there is any rest for anything?" Stu glanced over to him. "Except for in bed."

"That's all you ever think about, Stu." Loretta told him flatly.

"No it's not."

"Do you ever not think of being in bed with someone?"

"Uhh, yeah!"

"Then that's all you ever think about."

Donner groaned again while he enjoyed Stu and Loretta's company; these two were a handful all in their own way. Now he was just waiting for the day to end and hopefully things would get better.

...VVVVV...

That same following night we see Donner getting back to his room not just too long ago he blew out the candles of his cake and now he was being joined by those that he knew all too well, Stolas, Merida, Stu, Loretta, Arnold, Miguel who brought along Rocky and Loona. Not to mention of course Octavia who was still helping him eat since his hands were still in rough shape.

The only problem was for Donner was that everyone was watching this go on and he was getting embarrassed. "Ok, I think I can eat by myself now..."

"Hey, its either this or you eat like an animal." Octavia retorted back. "Which would you choose?"

Donner gave her a flat look. "Animal."

"Donner, you were taught proper manners." Merida reminded him playfully as she was actually enjoying seeing the sight and state he was in right now.

"You're just enjoying this aren't you?" Donner retorted back as Octavia shoved a piece of cake into his beak much to his annoyance. However the sweetness and texture was calming him down.

"Maybe a little." The owl princess smirked.

"I know I am." Stolas cooed. "It's adorable!"

"Shut up..." Donner growled while on the side Loona was laughing and she was filming the whole thing on her phone! "Hey! You better delete that thing!"

"Nah, c'mon Loona! Keep it, post it on social." Rocky called up to the young hellhound. "Show everyone his softer side."

"You do know that I'd get in trouble if that thing shows right?"

"Like you haven't been in trouble before!" The kid looked at the birthday boy, pointedly.

"Like the time when you almost set the shop on fire with a microwave pizza?" Donner shot back.

That stopped the hell pup in his tracks as a very visible blush grew from his brown fur.

"Uh-huh. That's what I thought." Donner smirked.

"Now, Rocky, be nice." Miguel told his son. "It's his birthday."

"I know..." The pup grumbled, crossing out his arms. "And it didn't burn down..."

"Damn well almost did." Miguel said ruffling his pup's hair much to his annoyance.

"Ok-Ok-Ok!" Rocky swatted the hand away. "Are we going to get down to business or what?"

"Which is?" Stu raised an eyebrow and Loretta groaned in annoyance.

"Is it not that obvious stupid?" The female Imp exclaimed. "Presents what else is there!?"

Her brother shrugged in response. "Sorry, there's a whole lot of things that can happen."

"Ah yes!" Stolas clapped both hands. "The young pup does make a good point. I believe we should start. Let's start off with your gift from the Penumbra family."

"Which is?" The Thunderbird inquired, a little sad that they couldn't come.

With a flick of his wrist a whole bunch of ice cream containers appeared before them surrounding the bed Donner making him smirk. "Oh no...they shouldn't have..." He said with a chuckle.

"Ferne most certainly insisted." Stolas chuckled at the buxom bat's persistence.

"That and it's also a thanks for us giving the baby her toy I forgot to give her." Octavia added.

"What was it?" He asked her, actually remembering that he hasn't seen it before.

"It was that doll, remember?"

"The one from the toy shop?" Donner tried to remember.

"Yeah, that's the one." Octavia nodded, confirming before her father made the treats vanish.

"Alright, so who's next?" Donner questioned out of curiosity.

"I'll go." Stu called up.

"No, I'll go." Loretta stepped over her twin.

"Does it really matter?"

"Why don't you both go?" Merida suggested.

"Please do."

Walking up between each side of the bed the pair presented him both of their gifts. Which immediately catches Donner off guard.

From Stu it was a switchblade and from Loretta it was a book called 'Romance 101'. Donner glanced over to Loretta who gave him a smirk and a wink confusing him further. "Really?"

"You'll thank me later, kid." She simply told him as the pair walked back to the group.

"Who's next?" Octavia questioned and Rocky raised up a claw.

"Alright, go on over." Miguel told the boy, who enthusiastically ran up to Donner's side, being mindful of the ice cream close by.

"Happy birthday." He held out his gift, Donner took it and chuckled in amusement. It was a Nintendo 3Ds. Old as it might've been, it was still a classic.

"That's cool rock. Thanks."

"I managed to get a card that can get every dlc you want. From what I remember hearing, you can't get any of them normally anymore." He detailed.

"Very cool." Donner smiled at the hell pup.

"You like it?"

"Oh yeah, thank you." Hearing this pleased Rocky as he rushed over back to his dad.

"Now it's your turn, papi."

"Okay, okay, easy mi nino." He chuckled at the child's enthusiasm.

"Here ya go Donner." The tri-brid had given Donner a small card on it that read 50% off the next percent. "I know you're a loyal customer to the shop and figured you love that."

"Awesome! Muchas gracias, mi amigo!" The thunderbird held himself open for a hug.

"No problemo effe." Miguel chuckled, taking it and looked back over to Loona. "Mi, Amor, you next?"

Loona simply sighs at this, rolling her eyes at her boyfriend. "Here." Pulling something out of her pocket she tossed her gift right on to the green bird's lap.

As for what it was, multiple sets of listening devices. From two headphones, one that could plug in, and another that was wireless including a set of earbuds. All of which were customized with little lightning bolts. "That's awesome." Donner smiled.

"Miguel and Rocky helped out with them." Loona shrugged. "Didn't know if you'd be into them or not."

"Thanks." The young man appreciates the gift from the hellhound, even if she wasn't really interested. In Spite of that she smiled going back over to her boyfriend.

"I'll go next." Merida volunteered. Pulling from the apron of her dress, the boney sinner presented him a book of her own upon reaching him.

As for what it was, the present was a book, to be more specific a first edition of Bram Stoker's Dracula.

"Couldn't find anything I was familiar with, though I feel this'll suffice?" She explained to her foster son.

"Well, I'll take it Merida, thank you." Donner smiled appreciating the thought and effort she put into it. The head maid smiled sweetly at this, turning back to the group in her own form of joy.

"Now I believe it's my turn." Stolas said with a smile and made a snap of fingers and right on cue we saw a few imps pushing a small cart. "I'm aware that you like sweets. So I give you a little bit something extra."

The tarp was taken off and there were a bunch of tarts, only problem was that half of them were gone? The group looks on in confusion, when Stolas turned to see. He gasped in horror. "Wh-What the!?"

"Wait, what the hell!?" Loretta exclaimed in annoyance, facepalming. This was an evident sign that she helped make. "Oh come on!" Right on que Stu turned his head away.

"What're you looking at me for? I didn't do anything!" Stu held his hands up in defense.

"Stu!" Loretta bared her fangs in anger and he relented.

"Ok! OK! I did it! I have a problem ok!?"

Loretta scoffed looking over towards Arnold. "Why didn't you stop try to stop him!?"

"I did! He bit my finger!" The hornless imp showed off his right hand and one of his fingers was wrapped in bandages.

Now it was the prince's turn to glare at the little man, furious. "Do you know how long it took us to make those Stewart? Do you?"

"I didn't even know this was for him." He stated honestly, quivering in fear.

Stolas hmphed at his answer. "Fine, half of your next pay will go to Donner as an apology."

"What?! No!" Stu fell to his knees in horror. The weight of his sins crushing him down.

"That's what you get, stupid." Loretta said with a flat look not feeling sorry for her twin at all. "Ok, next thing my lord. Because even if it's not all there, Donner will still eat it."

"She's not wrong." The said avian confirmed.

"I guess I'm up next." Arnold shrugged.

Arnold walked up over to Donner presenting him a record of Sour Gears there latest release and on it were signatures from all the members of the band itself. "Happy Birthday, Donner."

"No. Way!" The thunderbird beamed.

Octavia did the same looking to see it. "Oh shit!" She was feeling the same way. "Thats so fucking cool! Where did you get it?" She asked.

The grounds keeper shrugged casually. "I knew some folks who loved the band half to death. Kinda convinced him to get the autograph signing."

"Well right on man, thank you." Donner already knew the truth of that and even though it would be cool if the others knew he still kept his word not exposing Arnold's secret. At least not yet until the time was right.

"Oh yes, also Donner this is something from me and Bruns." Stolas spoke up, passing him a small box. Octavia opened it up and widened her eyes in surprise before showing it to her bodyguard.

He did the same. "Wait...is that?"

"An Asmodean Crystal? Yes." Stolas nodded, confirming it so. "But it's only a shard. If you want to go anywhere you want. But once you're back, it'll shatter."

"Oh sweet!" Donner grinned, this exactly what he was hoping for. Well some of it, but still. This is great! Now he could go to that place he always wanted to go!

"Geez, talk about lucky..." Stu commented in surprise. "Those things let you go into the human world. Getting those things are tricky to buy, aren't they?"

"Yeah that's because mainly the succubus's and incubuses have work that involves going to the human world." Loretta confirmed.

"But that's why they 'try' to make sure not just any demon can get them." Anrnold added sharing his knowledge with them.

"How would you know this? Did you run around the lust ring?" Loretta inquired.

"Nah, I just read a bunch of books. Plus we got some incubus and succubus staff members every now and then." Arnold replied.

"I'd kill for a shard. I can imagine all the places I could take Sallie." Stu said with a smirk.

"You do know you'd need human disguises right?" His sister reminded him.

"Eh, manage it somehow."

"Somehow I get the feeling that there'd be something on the news about public indecency." The sister rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Or some skank in an ugly wig." Stu shot back.

"Ok, moving on." Merida said, silencing the trio. "Stop it you three."

Octavia smiled knowing that now it was finally her turn. "That leaves just me." Reaching into her pocket she pulls out a very nice-looking silver locket with a cube shaped lock on it. "For you."

Donner took it looking a bit confused. "Open it." She urged him and he did so.

Pressing on the top it opened and seeing it he smiled. "You didn't have to do this Milady..."

"No, but I wanted to." The owl princess smiled.

As for what was inside the locket it was the photo that Octavia took of her and Donner on the Ferris Wheel. This very much was a very valued memory indeed. Not just for him, but evidently to her as well. It was that same day that their friendship really was boosted into helping what it was now.

"The park is still shit, but at least something good came out of it." Octavia chuckled.

Donner laughed a bit at that because it was true. Stolas looked over to see it and was generally surprised to see this, although she didn't have a full blast at all, she did have some fun. The only downside was that she was only able to do with Donner and not with him. However he was still glad that at least a good memory was made in that trash hole place.

Donner closes the pendent, clenching it carefully in his grasp without hurting himself. This is probably the most thoughtful gift he was ever given. Especially by his... friend. "Thank you..."

"You're welcome..." Octavia smiled, lightly patting him on the hand light enough to where he didn't wince. While everyone else was enjoying this wholesome moment, Merida snapped out of it touching an ear piece.

"Hello? Yes, what is it?" There was a quiet moment from the former Bone Witch, before her eyes widened. "The police are here for what?" She questioned one of the guards through the coms, wishing to hear this very clearly.

"Hold on, tell them to wait, we're coming right now." She walked over to Stolas and whispered to his ear and whispered what was told to her. Hearing this he gasped in surprise and the two of them walked out of the room much to everyone else's confusion.

"Merida, are you certain about what's happening right now?"

"Yes, my prince. We must handle this immediately."

The two of them wasted no time rushing to the front door and when they did much to their shock there were squad cars all parked out in the front. A lot of them were also armed and ready.

"Stolas what the fuck is going on here!?" Stella questioned coming out of the mansion..

"That's what I'm trying to figure out, Stella." Stolas glares at the shrew. Right then a hulking demon that resembles a bull walked up to them. He obviously was the one in charge. "What is the meaning of this?" The owl demon questioned demanding to know why they were here.

"Prince Stolas, I apologize for what it may seem, but we do have a warrant for an arrest."

"An arrest? For whom?" The owl prince's four red eyes stared at the mountain of a demon.

"Your servant is charged for mass murder, destruction of private property and billions of souls worth of damages. Now step aside and let us do our job." The lieutenant told Stolas directly.

"Wait, a minute hold on." Merida stepped in. "Mass murder? What mass murder?"

"You all don't know what's happened, do you?" The bull questioned and their silence was his answer. "A few days ago, the entire Obscures family was killed, and their home was destroyed."

"What?!" Stolas exclaimed, not believing what he's hearing.

"And what does the said servant have to do with this?" He questioned composing himself.

Another officer stepped in. "You see right now; we don't have any suspects and the top we do have is the one you call Donner. We don't have any leads, and everything points directly at him."

"So, if you would please move over, we'd like to handle this situation as calmly as possible." The bull man stated.

Before they could go on a bunch of bone spikes blocked them from continuing on. As for where they came from, it was Merida's side. "You will not take him away from me!" She glared at the two officers dangerously.

They were a bit hesitant to reach for their guns and Stolas saw this. "Merida, calm down!" Stolas went up to the head house maid. "Calm down..."

"I won't let them take my son." Merida wouldn't budge. "Never again."

Stolas kept a hand on her and turned over to the officers. "You'll be taking him in for questioning, correct?"

"That's our goal." The second officer answered. "And in a few days' time, a court hearing will be held."

The lord and the head maid each exchanged a brief glance with another while Stella was doing her best not to cheer for this situation. "He's almost fully recovered. Will you at least be sure that he does recover before any other actions will be taken?"

"That's the idea." The bull demon replied. "You gonna let us in or not?"

"You won't be entering the house." Merida said firmly, trying her best to contain her anger. "We will bring him out ourselves."

"I'm afraid we can't do that ma'am." The other officer frowned. "We have our orders to bring him in."

"And it'll be better if you do this." Stolas argued. "This is my property and I'm responsible for whatever happens. All you'll be doing is just adding into more of the problem. He'll listen to us."

Before either one of the officers could respond Stella chimed in. "I do believe that'd be the best course of action." The female owl demon said, backing them up with a fake smile. "After all, there shouldn't be a need for senseless killing when it can be done in a calm nonaggressive manner should it not?"

As much as she detested this Merida saw where this was going but bitterly understood this was the best course of action. "Yes, that's exactly what needs to be done to prevent further issues as is."

Both officers glanced over to one another, the shorter cop shrugging his shoulders while the bull sighed. "Ten minutes, you have ten minutes."

Merida reluctantly retracted the spikes which returned back into her body. Right now, she was fuming with anger and Stolas was right there to help her inside considering how hard this was going to be. She doesn't want to do this. Could anyone blame her? She already lost everything once, she did not wish to repeat her own sins once again.

"Merida...don't worry we'll settle this in the court...I know this is hard, but we'll pull through..."

"I know...Just please don't...that's not helping me right now..." The sinner said as they made their way back to the room pausing and taking a deep breath for what was going to happen.

When the door opened the sound of laughter was heard they were all messing around watching Rocky doing something. But it all stopped and died down when the two entered the room, closing the door behind them.

"Dad?" Octavia noticed the troubled expression on his face. "Dads what's wrong?"

Both demon and sinner glanced with one another knowing how this would go. Stolas took a deep inhale before exhaling. "You all might want to take a seat for this."

"Why?" Loretta asked.

"What's going on?" Stu added.

"Just do as he says." Merida spoke up. "You all need to listen."

Everyone listens to the pair's words, each of them finding a seat somewhere around the room. They were all pondering what was wrong.

"The police are outside right now..." Stolas began to explain trying to let this sink in. "And they have a warrant for an arrest."

"An arrest?" The twins exclaimed.

"For who? What are the charges?" Arnold questioned.

"All you need to know is that we'll explain the details." Stolas paused before dropping the bomb. "As for the arrest warrant...I-I'm sorry, but it's for Donner. They're waiting for him outside."

Everyone gave off a collective "What?!" at this information. Donner most especially.

In fact, he was trying to wrap his head around this staying silent with Octavia getting up from her spot. "Why are they arresting him for!? Is this about the robot? I thought we already got that thing sorted out?"

"Evidently that wasn't the only thing." Stolas frowned. "He's been charged with murder."

"Uh, he's killed a lot of people in his time, my prince." Stu points out. "You gotta be more specific."

"What he said." Loretta added. "Who the hell did he pop in specific?"

"Evidently a few days ago, the entire Obscurus Family was killed, and their home was destroyed." Merida answered for them.

"Wait, Zane's dead?" Octavia wasn't expecting to hear that, she might've hated the guy. But the teen owl didn't expect this to happen. Much to his whole family.

"Who killed them?" Arnold questioned, knowing well enough that the kid would never blindside this house in any way.

"Right now, they don't know." Stolas answered. "Unfortunately, there's no suspects. All except for one. Donner, I'm sorry, but you're the top one they have. Most likely because of that skirmish you had with him way back when."

"Well, that's just ridiculous!" Octavia exclaimed. "Donner didn't do that...did you?"

"No." He shook his head. "I did not."

"I don't think they'd give a shit." Miguel frowned.

"Well, that's because they're part of a higher demon nobility. If someone is able to kill them, then that means others would be at risk as well. Goeita's wouldn't be an exception either." Merida answered before glancing to the avian she raised looking on the verge of crying. "I'm sorry Donner...but they need to take you in for questioning."

"Oh, fuck that! No!" Stu objected standing up, he was very much outraged by this. "He saved me and Loretta's asses! Not to mention he beat the shit out of a robot that could've caused us more trouble. And he saved your bacon, my prince? How many times has he done so!?"

"Stu, I feel the same way as you do, but right now arguing isn't going to help with anything!" Loretta exclaimed looking over to her brother. "I mean, do you think that this is easy for him to do!?"

"Well come on, what do you think the chances are he's gonna even have a fair trial or anything!?" The imp with the broken horn questioned. "What makes you think they're gonna even listen to him!?"

"Guys this arguing isn't going to help." Arnold chimed in. "We don't have a choice here!"

"The fuck we do!" Stu wasn't relenting and started arguing with them while Octavia looked over to her father.

"Dad...is...is there nothing we can do? Is that it?"

"I'm sorry Via...but there isn't..."

"Mom did this, didn't she?"

"No, no she didn't. Even she doesn't know what's going on."

Donner audibly scoffed at that and Octavia wasn't convinced. "Oh bullshit! She tried to make me swap him out for some other asshole and you're really going to believe her!?"

By right now everyone was in full argument mode and things were not getting anywhere. One side was pissed off about what was happening and another was regretfully trying to get them to comply before it escalated. However it had already done and so with a sigh and slight groan Donner got up from out of bed.

"Hey! ENOUGH!" He managed to scream out loud enough for them to stop what they were doing looking over to him. "I don't want to cause any more trouble...So I'll go."

"What?" Octavia looks to her friend. "No!"

"Whatever choice is there Octavia? What else is there?" Donner was trying to do his best to make her see reason. Seeing the look on her face was hurting him more than anything at the moment. But he had to suck it up. "There'll only be more problems for the family if I just decide to run away."

Octavia was now on the verge of crying herself; she didn't want this to happen. But everything he was saying was true.

She just couldn't help but not feel frustrated and angry about this. To her Donner was more than some bodyguard, he was her only best friend. The only one Octavia's had for a long time, not to mention since he's been around things were better. Not completely better, but at least to a point where she could smile and have someone to talk to. No formalities, nothing, and now-now she felt like she was going to lose that.

"Will I be able to at least have a lawyer available when the supposed court day arrives?"

"Yes, you will." Stolas nodded. "I swear, I'll make sure that you do."

He nodded at that taking the answer and walked up to Octavia who was fully crying. "It's not fucking fair...you didn't do anything...I know you didn't do anything..."

"I know..." He reaches out and gives her a hug one that she returned sniffling away as he patted her on the back. "Don't worry about me, just focus on what's ahead of you right now. We can still pull through this..."

"I just wish it didn't have to happen like this though...Donner, they're not going to show you any ounce of remorse."

"I know." The thunderbird was counting on it. For all his life he's had his back against the wall. This is no exception. "I never had it, nor have I asked for it. This has to be done either way."

Donner eventually let go of Octavia giving her a small smile. "But for what it's worth, thank you for doing what you've done for me." He then gave back the locket he'd just received placing it onto her open hand and the tears started intensifying more.

"Thank you all." Donner started walking, stopping in front of Merida and Stolas giving them a nod meaning he was ready. They both returned sad nods of their own and guided him out of the room leaving the others stunned and feeling the wave of emotions that crashed into each one of them.

None more so than Octavia Ars Goetia. Who buries her head into the thunderbird's bed crying deeply within the mattress.

From behind both the twins and Arnold placed their hands onto her back. Neither one didn't know what else to say. But what could they do or say at all? Rocky felt the same way and was brought up into his fathers arms who hugged the crying tribrid pup. Hating seeing the kid cry Loona also wrapped her arms around him as well.

In the hallways, everyone watched Donner proceed, almost as if time was slowing down. Many of them had known the avian for a long time, and now seeing this they didn't know what else to say.

What was supposed to be a memorable moment in his life all went down the drain. Everything they've done for him was for not.

All watched as he made his way out. From the side, you could see Stella smiling with a very pleased look. The authorities tried to cuff him but Merida slapped them away. Both noble demon and sinner continued walking Donner towards one of the armored vehicles that was open up for him. Not struggling he entered inside of it and the doors closed.

He then looked towards Merida mouthing 'I love you' before nodding over to Stolas. Eventually the van and the many squad cars in the area drove away. The young servant looks back to the sorrowful look on his foster mother's eyes as Stolas holds a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

All she could do now was drop to her knees and cry. Wailing out loudly because right now this was one of the few hardest moments of her existence. Feeling like her heart was torn out from her chest.

Stolas followed her down to her level, hugging her from behind. Being strong for himself, his daughter and Merida.

(Ost now stops.)

From the screen of the old TV we zoom outwards to the bar where we see Mitty who's eyes were wide. Not because he had catnip but because of what had just happened. The same goes for Destiny.

Meow

"I didn't expect that either..." The Host felt the same way as the feline did. "I mean, I knew there'd be consequences. But... Jesus..."

The host turns over to the audience/readers. "Well, you all saw what happened. As much as it pains me to say this, but, we'll have to just wait and see what'll happen next."

The cat stood beside its owner, a sad look it's demeanor.

Meow

"Me too...Wanna order some take out? I'll get whatever you want, even from that sushi place."

It nodded walking on ahead. Just as Destiny follows the feline, it's phone rings again. Suspecting it to be another stupid call. "Hello?...I told you already, I got nothing to do with that!"

Sighing as the caller persisted, they continued to walk with the cat.

But eventually the host got fed up with it and tossed the phone out of the window. "Problem solved." Destiny scoffed.
