Sup guys? Time for another story, this one about Dragon Ball. Enjoy the 2100-word chapter. I don't own Dragon Ball; Toei and a few others do.
Vegeta wouldn't lie… The Majin in front of him was TOUGH. It had shrugged off a ki blast and responded with one that had thrown him around like a rag doll. He was powerful, but it was clear he was holding back.
Well then… If he was so damn confident in his abilities? He'd need to show them off properly.
Vegeta powered up to SSJ2. There was no need to go straight to blue nor would he allow himself to be cowed by a Majin, not one he even didn't seem to have known. Losing to a sentient wad of chewing gum? No, that simply wouldn't do, and would do well to have recalled it for now… Yes, if anything. He'd not allow a sentient wad of chewing gum to have beaten the prince of all Saiyans.
Vegeta was easily reminded of this with a blast that tossed him to the ground. The Majin panted in exhaustion, clearly interested to have done something like this… He wanted to have ripped it all apart… And it was clear was a lot more to questioned before it came down to it.
They looked at Vegeta and sighed as he realized the man was interested more and more interested now when it came down to it. He held up his hands, ready to have crushed Vegeta down to nothing.
"You're getting in the way, your highness… And trust me, this is fun and all… But I'm not going to just back down, not when I have a mission to do… So, I apologize but we're going to have to do this dance another time." The Majin stated before powering up.
"You believe me not worth your time, you wad of gum?" Vegeta grinned before smirking.
"Trust me…. You are more than worth it… But I doubt you'd want to fight me when I'm weak and, in a state, similar to this… Unless you're telling me a super Saiyans God is going to be able to mop the floor with someone who is only going to completely defeat me… I'm not in the mood to try and end it with an unfair fight, ain't my style and it ain't yours last I found out." The Majin stated before frowning in sheer anger.
Vegeta could see there was no lie. The Majin's attempts to raise its power were stymied by clear exhaustion. There was the intent to try and combat the Saiyans yet it was clear they weren't able to combat them, eager to fight for now… Questionable for now…. It would all need to end… All glorious attempts to fight would not be met and it would not be simply because of lack of effort.
Still? Vegeta wanted blood… But it was clear a fair fight would not be possible and Vegeta at least was eager to fight when it was clear his enemy was still unknown as were their intentions.
Vegeta only frowned and crossed his arms, eager to try and put it all behind… It would not be over sometime soon. It would not end before now and it all went down sooner and faster than now more and more at the end of the day, there was a lot more to try and focus on at the moment, and seemed to be worse and worse and more tiresome, utterly baffling to them but yet she didn't at all know what to do.
Vegeta looked at him before sighing and slowly started to think of what to try and focus upon.
"Fine, but we will fight again… You look pretty powerful and I already went through the purpose of powering up to this level of power, I want to use it sooner or later." Vegeta stated before he nodded and looked to the side.
"Maybe, I'll make it a concern, we don't get to fight often where I'm from. I don't know what to do next." He said before he slowly started to fall silent.
"I don't even want to know what to tell you next?" He also said before he tapped on his head. "Right, haven't said who I am… I'm Hocus. It's a very long damn story about who I am… But I know who you are, I've met you before, that's all you need to know." Hocus stated before he cracked his neck.
All Hocus said was nothing to Vegeta. He knew more and more the Majin wanted to fight, he could sense energy just flowing off him at the end of the day and it became harder and harder for him to try and understand.
This became funnier to the Saiyan as the two looked at each other and they became eager to fight but it would neither be fair nor a skilled fight for them.
"I don't even want to try and try and understand it at the end of the day," Vegeta said before he looked down at the ground, utterly tired.
"You look like Majin Buu. I don't believe you are related to them, are you? You aren't like him though, are you? I don't feel the same level of power from you that I do from him, though. A little less, isn't it?" He stated before he looked to the side.
There are just too many things to try and fixate upon for the two to fight, utterly matched with them, unsure what to try and say, too unsure what to try and focus upon first, not unsure of himself but it became nicer and nicer to try and focus at the end of the day when he could relax at it.
Still? There was a lot more to try and do, not at all something that he had to control and slowly grind down to nothing at the same time, it was all too hard at the moment to relax, utterly baffled by it all.
All it did was continue to drag him up a cliff at the end. There was no fun in a war that couldn't end properly, couldn't be fought, and was ground down to nothing… All of it felt more and more enlightening to him but he didn't know why.
He looked at the Majin, curious as to where it was from, such power didn't come from anywhere nearby. Earth had plenty of strong warriors but none of them were Majin except for Bu… Which made him question if the Majin had somehow reproduced, it would be an odd little question but he had made it worse.
"Stay here, boy… If you have a mission, tell them to wait." He heard before he watched Vegeta fly up and away.
He sighed more and more and more with each passing second as Hocus focused more and more upon what he could say or even do to end this all, it was a mystery for the ages and it baffled the Majin.
"Uh… Supreme Ki? I think we might have a problem." He said as another voice cut in.
"Oh, Vegeta… Great, real bonehead that one." He heard as he rolled his eyes.
"And still more active than you are in the field, old man," Hocus muttered to which there was a huff.
"Hocus? I know how the Time Patrol works… But this mission is going to be a bit special. Since we're dealing with something that can destroy the past and future? I don't think we're going to have to worry about anyone following us or seeing you." He heard before he looked down.
"Uh… Ms. Kai? You do know that my dad lives in this time and he doesn't know that he reproduces later on?" Hocus said, shuttering at the idea for the time being.
The Kai was silent and he knew why. There were repercussions for such a thing. Beerus had been informed as was protocol, angry but in no real desire to awaken to deal with it which led to them sending Hocus here.
"All of it just means we're going to have to tell him what's going on anyway… Besides, it isn't like Buu is going to notice. He never really understood how fission works the same way mortals do." He heard before he rolled his eyes.
"He's smart enough to learn, ma'am. He's the one who rips the galaxy apart if you forgot. Anyway? Are we still looking for her? She's almost as strong as Broly might be, we both know what happens if they get their hands on her." Hocus said to which there was silence.
His bosses knew he was right. Their prize besides the thing they wanted here was obvious and it was all too obvious as to what was desired.
And they needed to know what was needed to fix it and that meant throwing down the best and the rest as it came down to it. All of it continued onwards over and over as of now, something that kept coming down to it, unsure of what to do and how well to fix it for now.
Everything he did? He did with the idea of trying to figure it out, there was something he wasn't seeing, a measure that not even he at the best of his ability was able to deal with… All of it hurt and yet he didn't at all relent, not even for a few seconds of silence did he relax.
There was so much to see and do for now, something he could only rely on sooner. Every single little thing in his mind bothered him, every single little detail as he hummed to himself again and again, there was a lot more to try and figure out for now.
"Are you going to be able to relax or not? We can have other units deal with it, there's a lot more to see and do, I know you have your objectives for now." Hocus said before he looked downwards at the ground.
The idea of it all seemed to bother him, all of it seemed to keep pushing him more and more… They had a larger moment of mercy, everything that he could fathom and possibly deal with, all of it led to the same damn path again and again and again.
He hated it, hated being forced to do something he damn well couldn't easily. This wasn't just the fight when it came down to it, it was a mission where he could suffer and damn well die for the sake of the multiverse.
Yet? he could not hate them throwing him into the deep end, he could not hate what they were and what he was.
"I'll handle it, we have even a slight clue where the target is? We can end up finding an answer to this damn thing before it gets out of hand… Or before someone dies, either way? We got it covered, there's going to be hell to pay before we get it done." Hocus said as he looked downwards at the ground, unsure of it all again and again.
He knew what it meant, knew what was coming, what had to be done, and what he could gripe about. Even the smallest things? He griped not because it was healthy for now.
"There's a lot more to see and do, but I'll keep tracking the target, we have a lot more to try and figure out while he hummed to try and understand." Hocus heard as he sighed before he looked downwards once more, he cracked his fingers, the body he had moving when it came down to it.
He had a lot more to see and to do next, all of it came crashing down, and yet? He had to keep going, looking down when it was all down to it.
He hummed to himself before he cracked his fingers once more. He had a lot more on his mind while he hummed, glancing downwards for now.
They had something else on his mind, he hadn't yet mattered for now and he had to keep looking. Whatever needs to be done? Whatever could be dealt with for now? There's a lot more to try and deal with for now…
Hocus seemed utterly silent as she sighed before now. Whatever could be dealt with what to try and deal with as she hummed, yet? There was a lot more to try and deal with such problems.
She was going to be a very hard thing for him to deal with. The madness? The sheer anger cut into his brain as he sighed, unwilling to deal with then cut apart. They had OOH so much monstrous work to be had as of the time being and something
He knew this, he knew it very well, and how it would end if he didn't do it. Yet? He had little to NO such problems and NO such ideas, there was a LOT more to try and deal with… Yet? it wouldn't end properly; it couldn't end the way the visions were telling them to.
No, he had to strike like lightning and then vanish into the wilderness. He had a lot more work to do and he could not afford to deal with it all. No, he would just need to deal with such a thing… Not something possible.
"Is she still the target or did we switch? Because the lab still might have security and we both know waking her up is something that might cause problems." Hocus stated that he might deal with the problem before it became an issue.
"We need her, Hocus." He heard as he sighed and looked downwards at the ground. "As hard as it is to deal with it? We need her for the project. Anything you need to do? Do it and retrieve her for now. We can deal with problems later." Hocus heard as he sighed.
He knew it wasn't exactly worth trying to figure it out but he could try. He was a lot more focused on his objective than they might yet?
She was not willing to let it all fall apart, knowing that if he didn't? Someone else would and that was… A very hard mission to undertake and one that he would need to deal with it all in a single strike.
Perhaps he would need to relax and then he would be able to deal with it. Such problems like this were not going to matter as of now. He would not be able to relax knowing what came next. Yet? There was just too much to try and deal with it all.
Such measures weren't yet appearing to be dealt with such a thing again and again, all too easily dealt with such an amusement for now.
They had a LOT more to try and figure out the path ahead, such a thing that was all too well beyond what was coming next, a desire to end it all again and again.
It was an idea that cut further and further into the madness and came out absorbing it all seemed to fall over.
They had a lot more to see and do, something upon which to try and figure out something that he could figure out something to be able to not know.
There was something to try and figure out… Another measure, twisted and rotten to the core… It would be nicer and nicer. The idea of it would be thrown to the side, something that could be cut loose.
She had FAR too much to decide, for now, the idea that she could relax.
"Hocus? I require you to focus on finding Android 21. The sooner we do so? The sooner we may just undo the effects of the things." He heard before he relaxed, utterly unable to do more than pause, thinking for now.
It would not be as odd and unable to be dealt with for now… It would not matter, not at all… There was just something else, something odder and odder…
She would keep being unable to try and figure out something that would keep being dealt with… Yes, it would be rather odd. Rather cutting.
"We are going to be ripping it all to the bone, aren't we?" Hocus said before he rubbed at his nose. "The idea of it is going to be too nightmarish to figure something out," Hocus stated before he sighed.
He paused, utterly thrown off, not willing to try and figure out another measure of mercy.
They had a LOT of things that will not end, and do not desire to end for now… The idea would be utterly poppycock.
It was just far beyond the curve… Something about it would not end at the time being, something that could be properly explained.
