Chapter 1
"Shirou!" He heard his name being cried out, however, he didn't have time to worry about it. He wasn't in the best of conditions, and the grail needed to be destroyed. Saber had bought them the necessary time, so he wasn't going to waste it. Sakura was safe with Medusa, so really, all that was left was this.
Shirou stood strong, a silver and blue longsword on his waist, and the sword Gilgamesh told him was one of his strongest in his hands, Merodach. "Sword of the first selection, the original foundation of the sacred right to select the king. Let your light burn away the unworthy! Pass Judgement, Merodach!"
Shirou then swung the sword of light in his hands. The beam of light then hit the abomination in front of him, causing a large explosion that began to cause the cavern to fall apart. Just as Shirou was finished, he felt somebody grab onto him from behind.
The deed was done, though Shirou knew that there wasn't a way out. "Caren, what are you doing here? I told you to stay home." He said with haggard breathing. He could feel the grail's magical energy beginning to run wild, likely about to explode, destroying itself forever.
"Shirou, you're an idiot! But, you're my idiot, and the only thing I have left in this stupid world, so you can't die here without me." Shirou's eyes widened, as he never believed he'd hear such a thing from Caren in his life. 'I don't have much magical energy left, and I have one command spell remaining. Medusa can...'
Caren then wrapped her shroud around him, binding him where he stood. "You're truly horrible, to ignore a maiden's words like that." She said with a small laugh. Though, he knew it was just a front. He could feel her body quivering. 'I can make one more blast to save her.' He thought, but before he could do it, the grail burst.
'God, please save my sister. I don't care what happens to me, just save her.' He prayed inwardly, unaware that Caren was praying herself. 'Lord, I apologize for this selfishness, but just this once, allow us to remain together wherever we end up.' The two prayers were heard, though, the one who answered was the Grail itself.
Purged of Angra Mainyu, the last act of the Holy Grail was to grant a wish, just as it was created to do. With the last remaining bits of sentience it possessed before it was fully destroyed, it enveloped them in a cocoon of magical energy, before attempting to answer both wishes.
The cavern exploded and a ray of magical energy exploded into the air. Sakura, Rin, Illya, Medusa, and Bazett were the only ones who truly understood what happened. It was a sad sight, especially for Bazett, who grew to like the oddball couple, though she was sure she saw something in the beam before it disappeared, something that gave her hope that her friends were alive somewhere.
Throughout the world, a pulse of magic was felt unlike any other. It wasn't the descent of a heretic god, nor did it match the signature of any other kind of magical phenomenon. There was a major uproar as everyone began to rush to find the source of the spike.
Shirou's eyes opened to see a ceiling above him. He let out a groan, before forcing himself up. He felt like his body was sent through a meat grinder, but he was largely okay. 'I'm alive?' He thought, before his eyes widened. "Caren!" He called out, attempting to sit up, however, he was unable to do so.
"Mmmm, what a heartless man you are, to wake a young maiden in such a forceful manner, or is this just a sign of things to come?" He heard Caren say, before he clicked his tongue. 'Seems she's just fine.' He turned his head to see Caren smiling as she laid next to him.
"Says the woman who currently has me bound to a bed. I thought you were a pure maiden, but it seems like someone has a bondage fetish." He replied with a sigh. Caren giggled at his response.
"Oh, don't worry, Shirou. I'll love you no matter what fetish you may have." A tick mark appeared on his forehead. Caren smiled, before she let her shroud unbind him. As it did so, he noticed he wasn't wearing Executor garb, and his shroud was missing. "Don't worry, I was gentle."
"Caren, where's my stuff?" He asked plainly, wondering why he was wearing jeans, a black shirt. Caren sighed, before sitting up.
"Well, when I woke up, we were in the middle of nowhere and, well, your clothes were already pretty tore up. I used my shroud to pull you along as I searched for somewhere safe." She said causing Shirou's eye to twitch. 'I think she just said something ridiculous just now.'
"I found a church and they took us in, which leads us to now." She finished, before looking at Shirou with a smile. Shirou face palmed, before realizing something.
"Then why do you still have your clothes on?" He asked, though he immediately regretted it. Caren had a devilish smile on her face, before she lifted up her skirt with one hand.
"Oh, I didn't realize you preferred me that way. Though, I suppose it only makes sense. Lord, please forgive Shirou's feelings of lust towards your faithful servant." Shirou flicked her forehead, getting a small laugh from her in the process. Shirou only shook his head.
"You know what, never mind that. Where are we exactly?" He asked, trying to remove any kinks in his body.
"Somewhere in Italy. Though, I'm afraid that isn't even the most frightening part." She said in a serious voice. Shirou narrowed his eyes.
"What is it?" He asked, knowing it was time to get serious.
"I don't know what happened, but this place isn't our home. The church we are in should have records of us, as well as ways to contact the Vatican. They should also have a few exorcists, but none of that is here. I asked about the executors, but they don't exist." She informed him calmly.
However, Shirou could tell she was scared. Even he felt some sense of fear. 'Another world? But how?' He thought to himself, before remembering something. 'The Holy Grail? Could it have sent us here?' He let out a deep sigh.
"So, we're likely in another world with no way to return. Without the Kaleidoscope, or something like the Holy Grail, there's no way to do so." He stated, though he was watching Caren closely. "However, miracles have happened. Besides..." He placed a hand atop Caren's head. "As long we're together, home is where we make it."
Caren looked up at him with wide eyes, before shaking her head. "You and your smooth talking mouth. It's going to get you in trouble one day." Shirou smirked at her words.
"That's true, but you'll always be there to pull me out of it." He said, before offering her a hand. "Why don't we go check things out, and maybe get some fresh clothes. I know you gave me freshly donated clothes." He said with narrowed eyes. Caren simply hummed, before she hopped off the bed.
Weeks passed and Shirou and Caren managed to settle into the church quite comfortably. Though, it was only temporary. Shirou and Caren wished to return to Japan, even though they found out that Fuyuki didn't exist. While it was a hassle trying to get papers, they managed it.
Shirou did some researching and found that almost nothing was the same as back home. The world's mana was high quality and there didn't seem to be much going on. However, Shirou found out that magical societies did exist. Both Caren and him were able to find traces of mages.
The magical energy was easily noticeable for him, with even Caren's body reacting. They both noticed a change to themselves, but brushed it off. The plan was to search for a way home, but to try and live a normal life as well. Of course, both Caren and Shirou were magnets for trouble.
One day, the two were spending time outside of the church, when Caren's body reacted to something. Shirou, himself, felt the magical energy reverberating through the air, as well as smelling something heavy in the air. "Two magical energies, almost looks like they're colliding." He said aloud, before looking to Caren.
She was leaning against a tree and breathing heavy. "I don't know what it is, but it isn't human." She replied, looking at him. "Whatever it is, it'll be a problem if it continues." Shirou nodded, before looking towards the direction of the smell.
"I'll head out and deal with the problem. Trace on." He activated his magic circuits and quickly ran towards the source of the problem. 'A lake's out this way.' He thought, deciding that whatever was causing the problem was enough for him to use noble phantasms.
However, he until he saw what he was up against, he would go with black keys. He had a bible and multiple black keys in his jacket. So, he would make do. As he grew closer, he could feel the magical energy of whoever was fighting. 'They feel like divine spirits.'
As he grew closer, he saw what was happening. Two divine spirits were battling each other next to the lake. The moment Shirou noticed one of their weapons, his eyes widened. 'Mannanan Mac Lir, and that sword is Fragarach.' He watched as he rode atop a white horse and battled a beautiful woman that rode atop a dragon.
She wielded some sort of staff that Shirou immediately traced. When he did so, he found his hand moving up towards his shroud. 'Saint Martha and Tarasque.'
It was like watching two servants fight, though there was some differences. While he wouldn't normally be confident fighting a servant, he was fully rested and still access to some of his equipment from the last fight. Namely, the rune engraved boots and gloves from Bazett. He also had special blood in his cross around his neck, but that was a last resort.
As it was, Shirou had an idea of what he needed to use to slay Mannanan Mac Lir and save Saint Martha. Shirou had the honor of witnessing and laying eyes on many holy artifacts in his life. The scriptures were some of those weapons, however, the only one he felt confident in using was Gamaliel, though he wanted to save that trump card
There was Ciel's scripture, but his projection was hollow, since it didn't possess the spirit inside the weapon. Then there was the Holy Burial Artillery Scripture, though that came with problems of its own. So those were out. There was the Sword of Strange Hangings, which he had used a few times. Then there were the numerous weapons he gained from Archer's memories, as well as Gil.
No, he'd have to use his black keys and the Holy Spear Longinus, a weapon that could kill gods and that he was fairly proficient with. "Trace on." He said, quickly beginning the process of tracing the spear. As he did so, he noticed that the god was beginning to overpower Martha and Tarasque, or rather, Tarasque.
Martha was commanding the water and fighting back with her staff, but Mannanan was also a sea god, meaning that she had to rely on Tarasque and his fire breath. He debated on using broken phantasms, but he didn't want to risk hitting Martha. If it came down to it, he could use some at close range, but he didn't want to chance it at the moment.
Just as Shirou finished tracing Longinus, the god managed to wound Tarasque and made Martha fall from her mount. Shirou quickly activated the rune enchantments, while reinforcing himself, and quickly dashed forward as Mac Lir and his mount closed in on her. 'I won't make it in time.' He reached in his jacket and pulled out three blacks in his left hand, before quickly throwing them.
After throwing them, he grabbed three more and threw them in an arc towards the back of his opponent. The god's eyes widened, before he quickly struck the three black keys coming towards his front, while a shield appeared on his back, nullifying the black keys headed there, however, they did their job and stopped him.
Shirou appeared in front Martha, who was still on the ground. "Can you still fight, Saint Martha?" He asked, keeping his eyes on his opponent, who was dumbfounded by the appearance of a human. Martha though, was surprised to see a human who was a follower of her religion, attempting to face a heretic god.
Admittedly, a bit of shame came over her, as she too was a heretic god. However, a glimmer of hope shined in her eyes, as the sole reason she descended, was to find the one in her revelation. She had a feeling this young man was the one, as he exuded a scent of steel and bore the powers of a saint, judging from his shroud.
If he was the one she was looking for, then that meant she could rest easy. "Lord, bless this child with the power to smite this heretic before us." The moment she spoke the prayer, Shirou felt a rush of power enter his body. He assumed it was because of Martha's prayer, however, he wasn't going to question it.
Rather than question the god, he figured it was best if he simply attempted to defeat him. Quickly calling more black keys to his off hand, he threw them forward and charged with his spear. The god clicked his tongue, before he donned his shield and blocked the black keys. He was about to charge with his horse, but Martha's staff quickly stabbed into his horse's chest.
The horse rose on it's hind legs, where Shirou quickly thrust forward and stabbed the horse where its heart should have been. To the surprise of the Heretic God, his spear easily tore through his mount and stabbed into its heart. Martha's eyes also widened, but for a different reason.
'He's really the one. That spear, it feels familiar, yet unfamiliar, just like my revelation said. Now, where is the last piece of the puzzle?' She thought, quickly jumping back onto Tarasque, before commanding him to charge forward with his fiery maws ready to take a bit of whatever was unwise enough to get close.
Heavy breaths and heavy steps, the magical energy and strange reaction Caren was feeling was becoming worse the closer she got to Shirou's location. She had to get to him, because she knew he'd do something foolish if meant he could save her. Her prayer was answered, so she wasn't going to let him die like an idiot in a strange world.
She could hear the sounds of a battle raging, with the ground even shaking as she grew closer. 'Divine spirits? That is the only thing I can think of that would be capable of drawing forward a reaction like this. It isn't harmful, just heavy.' She shook her head. She hurried forward, before she came to a clearing.
She finally found what she was looking for. Next to a large lake was Shirou, facing off against some sort of celtic warrior, along with a woman dressed in old fashioned church garb. To her surprise, the woman was riding atop a dragon. There was only one person that came to mind when saw that sight, 'Saint Martha?'
It made sense, since her brother seemed to be teaming up with her to fight whoever it was they were facing. However, it was clear that they were still heavily outmatched. The warrior was fast and extremely skilled, with both his weapon and magic. Martha had jumped from her dragon and began to cover Shirou's weak spots, making sure the sword never touched Shirou.
It had been close to fifteen minutes since Shirou had left, so she guessed that Shirou had been fighting for about ten minutes. 'Judging from the scale and intensity of the battle, Shirou's been going all out this whole time. He'll be reaching his limit soon.' She thought with a frown. The dragon was fatally wounded, so it was likely out of the fight already.
Honestly, seeing Shirou fighting alongside a saint against an unknown foe, each of whom were displaying feats similar to heroic spirits, well, it was enough to cause Caren to become a bit giddy. She enjoyed seeing Shirou face off against strong opponents, though she didn't much care for the injuries he usually sustained during such battles.
No, it was the look in his eyes that made Caren feel this way. While she was normally the one to dole out punishment and such, the cold and primal look his eyes took on when, and after, fighting was enough to cause a shiver to run down her body. Even from where she was standing, she could see his golden brown eyes set in steel.
With every dodge, parry, and thrown black key, his eyes became more and more focused. He was moving faster than she had seen him mover before, becoming a bit more more refined with each second. His clothes were becoming cut up from near misses, though his body never wavered.
Despite the saint by his side, Caren could only stand and watch Shirou, her one and only loved one. However, she was broken from her daze when she heard Shirou begin speaking. "I am the bone of my sword." 'What is he doing? Tracing a weapon? No, he has Longinus, he shouldn't need another. Unless...' Her breathing quickened. 'No! He can't use that, he doesn't have enough magical energy!'
She then quickly began making her way down towards the fight, seeing the warrior's eyes narrow, before massive water spouts began to emerge form in the lake, as magical circles appeared behind his back. 'I can stop him and get Shirou a clean strike, I just need one opening.'
Things weren't going well, Martha knew that. As of now, her companion was beginning to get winded and his clothes were getting cut and destroyed. The Heretic God was also beginning to use his magic, so there wasn't much time left. She was waiting for the last piece to arrive, otherwise they would perish here.
Just as that thought crossed her mind, she saw a woman that closely resembled her companion, dressed in nun's clothing and wearing a shroud similar to her companion. However, the feeling she got from both of them then became clear, much like her revelation. 'Ah, the Lover has finally appeared. This is the final stretch.'
She knew what shrouds they wore now. The girl wore the should of Magdalene, while her battle companion wore her very own shroud. 'Perhaps, when this is over, you will gain full authority over my shroud, young man.' She then refocused, before seeing the magical blasts get in her way of blocking an attack meant for Shirou.
Her eyes widened, seeing the sword slice the young man's shoulder and across his torso, being unable to respond due to fending off the water from the lake. The moment the sword hit him, the young man dropped to the ground and yelled out in immense pain. The heretic god then let out a victorious laugh, however, Martha wasn't having any of it.
"Tarasque!" With a command, a large ball of fire exploded behind the heretic god, pushing forward towards Martha. 'I can only pray that he can recover in time to finish it.' She thought, swinging her staff forward, catching the god off guard. He brought his sword up, blocking the attack, however, Martha's strength threw him away.
He quickly recovered, readying his stance once again. However, just as he was about to charge forward, a red shroud quickly wrapped around his body. Martha's eyes widened, seeing the nun was the one who bound him. Despite him struggling and even positioning his sword to cut the shroud, nothing he did worked.
Martha didn't know how it worked, but it was enough to make her quickly run towards the nun and stand guard by her. While the lake had settled, the magic circles remained, now focused on the nun and her. "Tarasque, thy hide is our shield!" She commanded, before a large hide dragon shield surrounded the nun.
"Can your companion kill this heretic god while he is bound?" She quickly asked, causing the nun to look at her strangely for a moment, before shaking her head.
"No, Saint Martha, the moment an attack is levied against him the shroud will come undone and he will escape. I'm afraid the most I can do is bind him." She replied, before she noticed the nun struggle with the shroud for a moment. 'It seems the physical strength of a heretic god can still apply pressure.'
"Call out to him, he must land the final blow for my revelation to come to pass. I'll handle the rest from there." She explained to her, getting her to nod her head.
"Shirou, get up! Or are you too weak to protect me now?!" Martha raised a brow at the girl's words, though she noticed the young man respond to them. "If you don't do anything to save me, then you're just as bad as HE was!" Martha then saw the young man slowly push himself to his feet, causing the Heretic God to finally speak.
"That's impossible! Any wound from Fragarach is fatal! The pain from a scratch should be enough to kill you as a mere human!" He yelled out, attempting to struggle more. Martha knew why. The spear he possessed was something capable of killing gods, though she couldn't help but feel a sense of familiarity from it.
She then saw the magic circles change direction, aiming towards Shirou. "Steel is my body, and fire is my blood." He managed to choke out the words, obviously in great pain. "I have withstood over a thousand blades." He weakly raised an arm up, just as the magic circles began to fire off multiple magic spells. "Rho Aias!"
To her surprise, a pink flower like construct appeared, taking the form of a five layered shield. The spells struck the shield, however, none pierced it, to the surprise of both heretic gods. She watched Shirou slowly bend down and grab his spear. "Shirou isn't just any human. He's an Executor of the Church, and most importantly, he's a hero." She heard the nun say to the heretic god.
Shirou was in immense pain. He knew of Fragarach from Bazett, but the sword he was just struck with was insane compared to that one. It closely lined up with the legends and stories he read about Mannanan Mac Lir. He was weaker than he ever felt before, but that didn't mean anything. 'As long as my arms and legs still work, I'll continue going forward.'
His vision was hazy and he had lost a lot of blood. "O Light of Salvation." He weakly commanded Longinus, causing it shine brightly for a moment. Shirou felt his wounds heal, however, it only lessened pain and stopped the bleeding. He had no doubt that he was still in a bad spot. Rho Aias was still holding, though one of the petals had broken, with a second one preparing to break as well.
He focused himself, seeing his target wrapped in a red shroud. 'Caren, why do you always put yourself in harms way.' He thought, despite how hypocritical it was. 'I only have one shot. I have to make it count.' He could feel another rush of power enter his body, likely from Martha. He focused, waiting for a lull in the spells.
Just as he saw one. He raised his spear with one hand. "Holy Lance, double restraints rescinded." He felt the spear then release two waves of power, releasing a holy light on the tip. "Countdown, Longinus Count Zero!" He released Rho Aias, the lull in the spells allowing him to move forward with all the strength he could muster.
'My faith will carry me forward.' He then saw the spells come again, however, the light of Longinus pushed them away from his body, grazing him slightly, but missing. "May a precious miracle befall upon this place!" The light of the spear then exploded once again.
"Release him now!" He heard Martha command, a step or two away. Just as he did, he saw Caren get shielded by a dragon hide, while Martha grabbed onto Mannanan Mac Lir. His eyes widened, attempting to divert his attack, however, it was too late. His spear pierced through the the two in front of him, before a pillar of light rose into the sky.
Within the pillar of light, he could see Martha smiling at him. His spear had pierced both of their hearts, however, she was still alive somehow. "Thank you, Shirou. You are the light of hope I saw in my revelation. I now return to my rightful place in the afterlife. May your reign be as radiant as your light." She said, before her eyes widened. "I see, so I had the honor of being stabbed by the same spear as the Son."
A peaceful smile appeared on her face, as he felt the prayer of Martha wear off, his body then bearing the brunt of everything he had done with it, such as pushing his body past the limits of reinforcement. He felt broken and his joints felt like glass was layered in them. The previous wound he received then reared its head, causing Shirou to pass out.
Shirou felt weightless. In fact, all previous wounds and ailments he felt before were now gone. He felt at peace. 'Did I die?' He then heard a giggle from somewhere above him. He managed to open his eyes, seeing a young woman, a little younger than him, looking over him. She was pretty, reminding Shirou of Caren a bit, though she had light purple hair and ears like Medea.
"You aren't dead, silly. Though, I admit, I'm impressed that you aren't. Any average human would have died facing a heretic god like that, though you managed quite spectacularly. What an odd but satisfying battle, and it all falls in line with the rules. Though, you do intrigue me. You and the other girl. You are oddities, but YOU are more." He felt a hand place itself onto his head.
"Don't worry, you'll be right as rain soon enough, and since your lover helped, I decided to give her a little gift." She said with another giggle. "While I don't know how you received a stain from my box, I'll remove it and fix you up. To kill two heretic gods at once, even if one was helping you, is an achievement on its own, something you did through your own power, so I'll allow it, but just this once."
'Heretic gods? Stain? I don't fully understand.' The girl smiled at him. "The black art that Epimetheus and I left behind. The sacred birth of an illegitimate child, shrouded in darkness, born of a fool and a witch. A secret rite of usurpation only made possible through the sacrifice of a god." Shirou listened intently, being lulled by the woman's beautiful voice.
"A true miracle of the heavens, just as you said." Shirou could only smile at the girl's cheerful brightness. He may not understand, but he didn't care. The girl seemed happy, so he was fine listening. The girl then laughed again. "You are a strange one indeed. To explain it simply, you fought and killed two heretic gods, Mannanan Mac Lir and Saint Martha, while fighting off death, fulfilling the conditions. Now..."
"I am Pandora, the all-giving woman, the mother of all Campione. You will now be reborn anew. My newest son, the light of hope who survived amidst the contents of my box. I grant thee my blessing, to be reborn as the newest Campione." She then smiled once again, with Shirou still not understanding what a Campione was, though he figured with the smile on her face, she would tell him.
"The god-slayer, the king of kings,..." Shirou's eye twitched at that moniker. "The Campione." She then leaned down, with Shirou's vision beginning to fade into white, as he felt her place a gentle kiss on his forehead. He felt something new about himself, but brushed it off, deciding to embrace the feeling for just a moment longer.
His eyes opened slowly, once again being treated to a familiar sight and feeling, that being wrapped in a shroud. Rather than call out, he simply had to move his line of sight upwards, where he saw Caren resting his head on her lap. She was running a hand through his white hair as she hummed one of the Psalms of David. She opened her eyes as she looked down and noticed him.
"Oh, you're finally awake!" She said with a smile. "I have a surprise for you, and it's going to blow your mind." She the reached out and touched his face. The moment she did, Shirou felt a small surge of magical energy enter his body, along with a sweet scent entering his nose. Shirou's eyes widened, realizing that Caren had magical energy.
Rather, she just used magical energy despite not having magic circuits. However, just as he thought about that, he realized that he was feeling different himself. He couldn't explain it, just that he felt more powerful and energetic. He felt like everything about him was better. He then realized something. "Caren, I'm happy for you, but where are my clothes?"
Across the world, the birth of a new Campione was felt and heard by all. Everyone began moving to find the location of said god-slayer, though there were only a few near the designated location, or were going to be in the vicinity of their destination. "He is the light of hope born amidst all the worlds evils, a savior beloved by saints. The king and the saint, to the east they will travel."
"Search for him before he leaves. We must find him before the others. Is that understood, Liliana?" An old man asked as he turned towards a beautiful young lady with silver hair and blue eyes.
"Yes, it shall be done." She replied in a straight tone of voice.
In Japan, the magical society, History Compilation Committee, was in an uproar due to the new information they received. A Campione was not something easily dealt with, especially when nothing was known about said Campione. So, even the preparations they made could be for naught. Of course, no one knew that this Campione was the first of two.
Done with this. I was going to release the reading chapter, but someone messaged and asked if they could do a reading chapter on it, which I agreed. I'm still working on mine, but those chapters of Lost Hero of Chaldea are long, so sometimes I write a good amount, then I feel like working on another story. So, apologies. Anyways, yeah, released the third one. The RWBY Tale of Snow and Steel is nearly done, so expect that soon. Also, the recent Lost hero of Chaldea is also being worked on and is getting there, so that'll happen pretty quick, I hope. Anyways, yeah, let me know what you thought of this. I know about Campione, but nowhere near the same amount as I know about Type Moon, so I'm open to hearing your suggestions. I'm currently going back and going through Campione again, so it'll get more clean and refined as it goes on. But for now, I wanted to keep it kind of light. The specific stuff will happen as Shirou and Caren learn more. I'll also put a list of Authorities Shirou gained during this chapter. It's basically just two, or rather three, but still. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed, thanks for reading, I appreciate the reviews and feedback, as well as the support. It really helps me keep writing these stories that I enjoy and have fun with. I tried to put it on one of my stories, but I'll reiterate, I won't be locking any chapters or anything behind paywalls, which I found out some people are doing, which surprised me. I've also been working on a original story of my own, so there's that, I'm having a lot fun basically. Anyways, thanks again, you're all awesome and, as always, until next time.
Ps. I don't know what's going on, but this story keeps glitching, so I'm sorry if it keeps doing it.
Authorities:
Golden Legend- Gained from Saint Martha, a Heretic God of Steel. Golden legend embodies the Legend of Saint Martha, including her defeating Tarasque. Due to the Golden Legend, the Castle Magdala can be manifested by Shirou and act as a fortress of sorts for the Campione. Also acts as a bounded field that buffs Shirou and his allies. The more faith one has, the bigger the buff. Due to the legend stating Martha governed nobly her brother and sister's lands, as well as her own, Shirou can administer blessings and power onto knights and servants who wish to serve him, as well as blessings to the poor. This authority also allows Shirou to gain power from Martha's shroud.
Golden Legend-Tarasque- O' Tragic Drake Who Knew Naught of Love, and Tarasque- O' Dragon's Shield that Shall Not Let a Blade Pass- these were Noble Phantasms from the Martha of Shirou's world. Due to some authorities changing to match their wielder, Tarasque morphed in a Noble Phantasm type ability, though Shirou can only summon Tarasque, replicating Martha's real Noble Phantasm is something he cannot currently do.
Golden Legend-Dragon Slaying Saint- Grants Shirou the powers of a dragon slayer. Enhances all physical abilities and resistances, extra buff when facing dragons. All dragon slaying constructs within UBW are enhanced. Also allows Shirou's voice to calm and tame a dragon, capable of turning one into his ally permanently if desired. Because of the nature of saint being added, most perceive Shirou as someone who is naturally good. Enhanced buff when near sources of water, thanks to the Saint of the Waterside epithet.
Gifts from the Guardian of the Blessed Isles-Gained from Mannanan Mac Lir.
Grants Shirou access to the gifts that Mannanan Mac Lir bestowed when in his legends. This also extends to Shirou lending, or "Gifting", these to his allies for use. When being gifted, the abilities will slightly decrease, as mortal bodies cannot wield authorities for too long.
List of known Gifts include: Aonbharr of Manannan, or Enbarr of the Flowing Mane, a horse that can travel land or sea, and Sguaba Tuinne, or "Wave Sweeper", a boat that is self navigating.
Fragarach- This grants Shirou the authority to trace his world's Fragarach, as well as the current world's Fragarach. Any wound made by the sword is fatal, though against other gods and Campione, the wound will simply not heal and will weaken said opponent with a curse. If done on a mortal, the wound can be nonfatal, but the curse can be activated, which will weaken the mortal to the equivalent of a woman during childbirth, based on the description of said sword.
Crane Bag of Fiana- A crane skin bag full of treasures. Only visible when flooded during high tide to anyone but Shirou. Acts as a storage bag for Shirou to place valuable things inside of. Within three hours, will return to his side if stolen.
Shield of Finn- A wooden shield with venom that can kill or blind those hit with it, or attempting to handle it without permission. These effect can lessened to whatever the wielder wishes, though the venom is still dangerous no matter what, inflicting great sickness at its weakest. Against Campione or Heretic Gods, can temporarily blind or poison the opponent depending on the strike and resistance.
