Well guys, here we are with the next chapter. I was honestly unsure about the previous chapter given my not so good English, but that went better than I expected. With that said, I sincerely hope this one turned out good enough, but then again, it's my first story, so yeah.

I'd also like to thank those who followed and liked the first chapter. Now, about the reviews of the previews chapter:

Chronosign: Well, I wouldn't exactly call it an "order" from Jiemma, it was more like a statement since he knew what Mard's curse could do. Even back then during Tartaros' Arc, Jiemma used to be rather disrespectful toward Mard Geer, saying he was none's servant and that "he would've come for him" after dealing with Sting and Rogue, so I think he has never actually respected the Underworld King.

Maximum Rhapsody: There will be other characters' comeback from Fairy Tail, still the Raven Tail guild won't be one of them, neither will Avatar (Truth be told, I originally planned to give them a small role, but I ruled it out since the cult's strength is pretty low, let's not forget Natsu handed their leader's ass without breaking a sweat). And about Erza and Kinana... well, I wasn't planning to add them in the story mostly because it would be obvious and overused. Yet, I don't plan on making them act as they never existed, of course.

Guest-Questioner: No need to worry about that. I wasn't planning anything like that LOL. They will go to Kuoh eventually, and they will meet Rias and the others, but they're not becoming devils.

Disclaimer: I do not own Fairy Tail or High School DxD. All rights, characters and media belong to their respective owners.

"I thank you for your assistance once again, Azazel. It reassures me that Grigori is willing to help Kyoto and the Youkai faction facing such kind of problems." A soft womanly voice said in a grateful tone to the person who was walking next to her.

"It's no problem, Yasaka. After all, I awed that one to you. I could never forget the help you landed to my organisation in the last years. How is your daughter doing by the way?"

The person now known as Yasaka smiled at the man. She appeared to be a beautiful woman in her mid-twenties with straw-yellow, almost golden long hair tied up in a loosen ponytail that reached down to her legs. She had a very voluptuous figure covered by a typical Japanese white-coloured shrine maiden outfit. She was also the leader of the Youkai faction that resided in Kyoto. Youkai were supernatural creatures natives to Asia, in Yasaka's case, she was a Kitsune, a fox-like Youkai with a set of fox hears and nine tails.

The man next to her had the appearance of a tall man in his mid-thirties. He had black hair with golden bangs and a black goatee. He wore a wide-open V-neck maroon long coat with high-collar with two black belts around his waists. He also wore grey slacks and brown shoes. He was Azazel, leader of the Fallen Angels and Governor General of Grigori. Fallen Angels were angels that fell from Heaven for their impure thoughts. They were a part of the supernatural world as well, one of the three sides of the three biblical factions alongside Devils and pure Angels.

The two supernatural leaders were holding up a discussion about a recent issue, which would have cracked down on her and her daughter's safety: in a few words a kidnap attempt. The culprits were a certain group of individuals not yet identified, most likely terrorists belonging to an unknown independent faction, their peculiarity was the fact that they were all humans, and powerful as well. As such, Azazel had volunteered to ensure their safety. Grigori had been collaborating with the Youkai faction for a few weeks since, they weren't 'officially allied', but the two groups still maintained a pretty good relationship.

"Oh, Kunou is fine. I couldn't help but notice she is getting quite along with one of your recent additions, yes?" Yasaka voiced like a lovely mother would.

Azazel chuckled at that. "Yeah, you can say that again. Asia and Kunou appears to like one another, guess Asia's got the older-sister vibes. No wonder Kunou offered her to spend time with her."

"Yes." Yasaka giggled in response. "Speaking of which, the girls should be on their way here, it's getting late. Fortunately, Kunou is well familiar with our city's streets." She mentioned. At that moment, Asia and her daughter went shopping in a shop near the outskirts not far from where they were. So, in order not to make her feel alone, Kunou decided to accompany Asia. It was fortunate that the individuals who attempted to kidnap Yasaka herself and her daughter were driven out of Kyoto hours earlier, which meant they were safe for the time being.

As Azazel was about to say something else, a high monstrous roar could be heard from the distance. It looked like it came from the outskirts of the city.

"What was that?" Azazel asked almost instantly.

A few minutes before, a certain trio of mages found themselves into an uncharted wood. The surroundings felt different yet quite familiar somehow at the same time. Jellal, Macbeth and Erik had appeared in that unfamiliar clearing after being sucked into that bizarre portal formed after the clash between Mard Geer's Memento Mori curse and Macbeth's Genesis Zero spell. Little they knew about the world they just popped up into, they weren't aware of the dimensional jump they unwillingly trapped themselves him. The good news was that Jiemma and Mard didn't seem to be in around. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to them, Deliora had appeared with them in the same area.

"Where the hell are we?" Erik asked in confusion while scratching his head.

"I have a strange feeling about this place." Macbeth mused as he shook his head slightly.

"Perhaps…" Jellal voiced but was interrupted by that familiar roar. "Deliora, it's here…" Erik and Macbeth narrowed their eyes after hearing it. "We must hurry!" He then looked back at the Dragon Slayer. "Erik, you think you can lead us to it?" Jellal asked knowing Erik's sensitive hearing and his enhanced sense of smelling.

"Yup, should be no problem." Erik nodded as he started using his hearing magic as well as his Dragon Slayer smell. "…aaand, found it. This way!" He instructed as he bolted off to the city with his comrades in tow.

Minutes later, Azazel and Yasaka reached the city's limits and widened their eyes at the approaching monstrosity. The monster at stake was a giant and muscular demon: wild long hair, dark-skinned, two large horns, sharpened teeth and red eyes.

"What the… fuck is that?!" Azazel shouted as he and Yasaka sighted the giant demon beast. "Where in the hell did it come from?"

The blonde-haired Youkai widened her eyes and briefly gaped at the sight of the approaching monster, Azazel was right, how could that just pop up out of the blue, it's not like she sensed something coming from the outskirts. "I've never seen such a monstrosity, a Stray Devil perchance?" Yasaka pondered, but quickly dismissed that thought, now that wasn't the time to think it over. "No matter, what is important right now is to stop it causes havoc. Azazel place a barrier, prevent it to make it to the city at your best, if it really is a Stray Devil, then your holy light should be enough to take it down. I will go search for Kunou and Asia." Azazel nodded brining out his twelve black wings and flew off to it.

Fortunately, the beast was still in the outskirts' area, in the vicinity there weren't many houses, it would not be difficult for the Etherious to advance towards the inhabited centre of the city. Deliora let out another menacing roar which caused the ground to tremble. Azazel didn't waste time, as he started to create the barrier, then he summoned his holy sealing magic with the hope of trapping the demon inside it. However Deliora fired a stream of its Destructive Strike shattering Azazel's seal in millions of pieces. Azazel gasped in shock for a moment, his barrier was destroyed just by a magic beam… it is to say that the Governor General didn't use his full power for it, but that still wasn't right, if that creature really was a Devil in rampage his light was at least supposed to trap and weaken it.

'This power is the same as an Ultimate Class Devil…' He voiced in his thoughts.

Azazel tried once again as he summoned another defence seal that surrounded the demon, but Deliora fired another blast destroying the second one in the process. The Etherious threw a blow at the Governor which he dodged without much effort.

"Just what in the hell is this motherfucker made of?" Azazel stated while frowning. 'A Devil wouldn't be able to break my seals that easily, it's made by Holy Power.' He then glanced over his back. 'Damn, we're still too near the town… and this prick can overpower my barrier…'

The demon prepped a new energy beam as it was aiming for the city and the Fallen Angel.

'Shit, guess I've got no choice then…' Azazel stated and summoned his own magic circle, well ready to fire his light spears.

As soon as it was about to fire, a dark red missile stroke Deliora right in the face making split up blood from his mouth. Once the giant lost his focus, Erik was able to alight on the demon's shoulder, igniting his fists with poison he dashed forward.

"Time for you to go back to sleep, you freak!" Erik screamed while running up the demon's shoulder. He then jumped. "Poison Dragon Gouge Horn!" He landed a solid hit with a hand thrust. As the Dragon Slayer stroke Deliora's face he released a large stream of poison that engulfed its face. Deliora howled in agony as the powerful poison was starting to be tainted into its skin. The hit was solid enough to force the demon backwards a few blocks.

"What?" Azazel said as he eyed the stranger on Deliora. "Such power. Hold on, is that guy a human? How did he break through my barrier?" He wondered as he descended downward on a roof.

The demonic beast was still at the Dragon Slayer's mercy. "Poison Dragon Scale!" With a swung of his arms, Erik generated a series of sharpened blades of poison striking Deliora on its chest. He then performed a backflip in the air as he landed on a nearby roof.

"Dark Rondo!" Macbeth shouted firing his beams of darkness magic at Deliora. 'We have to push it further away, we're still too close to the city.' He thought.

Deliora snarled in rage at the reflector mage, and fired one of his beam without a second thought. Twisting the air around him, Macbeth was able to reflect the blast toward the sky. Growling in anger, Deliora tried to stomp on him, but Macbeth dodged the demon's foot in time. Seizing the opportunity, Macbeth leapt into the air.

"Dark Slash!" Another fist ignited with darkness connected with Deliora's stomach. The demon snarled trying to ignore the pain, and burst out a furious of Waves of Destruction, which Macbeth quickly countered with his Dark Rondo. Clashing, the two powerful magic attacks released an enormous series of shockwaves that caused Azazel's barrier to go instable. The ground shook and the sky began to change to a strange shade of purple, black and green.

Scouting the zone, the Dragon Slayer could hear two screams of terror, both of them were feminine, looking around he eyed the owners of the terrified voices, they were two young girls; the older one was a pretty young girl around her sixteens, with long blonde hair and green eyes, she wore a dark green nun outfit and brown boots. The younger was a small girl no older than 12, with golden blonde hair tied up in a ponytail, she wore a traditional miko outfit. The older girl was embracing the young one as they were hiding behind a couple of garbage bins. With all chances, those two were probably too scared or shocked to escape as the creature was stomping on the ground close to them. Luckily, those two seemed to be the only ones around.

'Huh? I didn't hear those two before, it's like they popped out of nowhere… Ugh, what the hell, we've got to save them…' Erik quickly thought. "Macbeth!" The Dragon Slayer called out. "Me and Jellal are gonna go save those two brats from being squashed to the ground! You distract the freak!" Erik shouted which the nightmare mage agreed with a nod.

"Right! Leave it to me!" Macbeth pronounced in seriousness.

Deliora opened his mouth to fire another beam which unfortunately was about to head towards the area two young girls were hidden. Blasting the beam off with his magic, Macbeth prepared himself for his next move.

"Spiral Pain!" Swiping his arms, a vortex of distorted air surrounded Deliora while striking it with great force blocking its offensive.

"Now! Meteor!" Jellal flew at the younger one, while Erik dashed to save the nun girl on foot.

"I want my mummy!" The girl in miko cried desperately as she was shedding a river of tears. But suddenly she felt a warm sensation as she was held by two arms. Perking her head up, Kunou saw a man with blue hair and a weird tattoo above and under his right eyes.

"It's alright, miss. Have no fear, I'll take you where you'll be safe." Jellal tried to reassure the small girl.

Seconds later, Kunou blinked a few times, but stopped crying and showed a small smile of appreciation to the stranger. "Thank you mister…"

"Jellal. My name is Jellal." The mage smiled warmly.

Erik, on the other hand, harshly picked up Asia in fireman's carry as he ran at top speed following Jellal's lead. The nun was still screaming out of shock, her eyes started to tear up again.

"Would you quit your blubbering?" Erik sorted. "I ain't doing anything to you, nun girl."

"I… I…" Asia attempted to voice something, but could only pronounce sobs which caused Erik to roll his eyes.

Noticing Azazel standing on top of a roof, Jellal and Erik instinctively decided to temporarily hand the young ones to him.

"Please, take care of them!" Jellal exclaimed at the Governor of the Fallen Angels. Azazel nodded as they put both girls down next to him but quickly left with no other words.

'Their attacks were enough to make my barrier freak out, that must be why Asia and Kunou could be spotted…' He then looked back at the nun. "Asia, are you alright?" Azazel asked.

"Y…yes, I am Mr. Azazel. Those men saved Kunou and I from that… beast just in time." Asia replied while still trying to recover her shock.

As they left, Yasaka approached Azazel. "Azazel, have you found where…" Yasaka voiced but noticed her daughter was there, and most importantly fine. "Kunou!" She shouted as she run and hugged her daughter tightly. "Are you alright?! Did that monster hurt you?"

"Mum, I'm fine… those kind men saved me and Asia." Kunou explained while pointing the two strangers who were running back to their comrade.

Asia approached the nine-tailed Youkai and bowed. "I'd like to apologize for getting Kunou in trouble, Lady Yasaka."

"You don't have to worry, Asia. It's not your fault." Yasaka told her while touching her shoulders. "You certainly couldn't have known that such a monster appeared out of nowhere and attacked Kyoto in the middle of the afternoon." She reassured the nun who only nodded in understanding. Turning to Azazel, she spoke. "So, they could get through your barrier, Azazel." Yasaka remarked as she looked at the Fallen Angel. "My question is how could they overcome it, so far it seems to me they're just humans."

"Your guess is as good as mine. I wonder who they are…" Azazel crossed his arms added. "There's something bothering about that… thing, not only he did manage to resist my spells, but its aura seems off… it feels kinda demonic, even though slightly but it doesn't seem to be a Stray."

Yasaka rubbed her chin with her hand. "It is indeed strange. Looking closer, I cannot recognise what kind of species this creature belongs, but I think the three of them know a little more on the matter, we will ask eventually." The Youkai leader said and picked up her daughter. "Even so." She then bloomed a smile. "I believe we should properly thank them later on. It was fortunate that those three intervened, I have the feeling that monster could be even stronger than me." Yasaka considered.

"R-really mum?" Her daughter asked astonished.

"I'm afraid so, sweetheart." Yasaka answered to her daughter. Her eyes focused on the mages as they kept fighting the demonic monster. "And that includes those magician as well." She stated increasing the astonishment of her daughter.

'Yeah. These aren't normal humans, if they're truly magicians then they're real powerhouses. The fact I couldn't sense any Sacred Gear from them makes me wonder how strong they are. And that demon… it was able to break my seals even though they were made of pure holy light, which means it couldn't be a Stray…' Azazel wondered in his mind. True, he wasn't really going all out, but the mere fact it could overtake his spells was something to not get lightly. 'Oh well, looks like we got something big in our hands to learn and powerful magicians to boot.' He put aside those thoughts returning to his carefree side.

Meanwhile in the battlefield, Macbeth's Spiral Pain was still active, and Deliora's roars were even louder as its attempts to break free from the reflector mage's proved useless.

"Nice goin', Macbeth! Now…" Erik cracked his knuckles unleashing a bit of his draconic aura. "How about we wrap this in a cute bow?" He asked his fellow mages with a smirk.

Macbeth returned the smirk. "Yeah, it's time to put an end to this farse." He then turned to Jellal who nodded with his own smile.

"Yes…" Jellal finished. "Let's get this over with!"

Being the first one to move, Erik jumped in the air while gathering a huge amount of poison in his legs. "Buzz off! Poison Dragon Spiral Jaw!" Spinning around upside down, the Dragon Slayer delivered several leg sweeps right in the demon's face, powerful enough to send it crushing several meters away.

After Deliora slowly rose on his feet, the nightmare mage took his chance. "Dark Capriccio!" Macbeth shot his own beam of darkness right in the demon's guts sending him fly away even further. The nightmare mage turned and shot a look at Jellal while exclaiming. "Jellal! Do it! It's far enough!"

Jellal wasted no time. He placed both arms on top of each other with the top hand having its index and middle finger spread out. His fingertips started to glow in a yellow light. "May the seven stars bring judgment upon you!" He exclaimed. Several seals were summoned in the sky appeared to be forming a constellation. "Grand Chariot!" Jellal yelled. Nearly immediately, several beams of light emerged from the sky and were bombarded towards Deliora who could only emit growls of pain.

"It's time to end this!" Bowing down Jellal pointed his hands down to the ground with only index fingers raised. After slowly moving his hands up and down alternately, the clouds in the sky above the area began circling around, forming a cyclone as the skies darken. Gradually, the clouds started to swirl faster and faster. The huge amount of magic power made the ground starting to shake.

"Incredible… to think this comes just from one man." Azazel gasped in disbelief, never in his life has he witnessed such powerful abilities, by humans to top it off.

"This magic power…" Yasaka stated in shock widening her eyes. "Is higher than a Dragon King's…" She then shot her head upward eying the massive vortex in the sky.

Asia and Kunou were too astonished to speak, the two just stared at the trio of mages in awe at the tremendous amount of power they showed.

From the centre of the swirl, a glowing orange-reddish meteoroid object was starting to come out. The spatial matter emerged from the middle of the swirl revealed to be an enormous meteor as it started to fall towards Deliora at high speed. Too damaged to dodge the incoming offensive, the Etherios of the Books of Zeref could do nothing but growl in fury, as the meteor impacted with the demon's body, a large explosion of flames was created afterwards, which occupied the whole area. Deliora let out its last sorrowful roars of agony, but they were soon suffocated by the engulfing flames that were surrounding its body. After a while, the explosion ceased to exist leaving a huge smoking crater in the middle of the forest. The dust cleared, there was no trace of Deliora as its body was reduced to ashes. Luckily all this happened quite far from the inhabited area.

Jellal fell to one knee tiredly, Sema was one of his strongest as well as exhausting spells he could cast, his fellow guildmates were handling a bit better, but they weren't in the best condition either.

"We… did it…" Jellal sighed while panting exhausted.

Erik smirked victoriously. "No shit… That was a hoot huh?" He added breathing heavily.

"Hmph." Macbeth only chuckled in relief. Glancing around he then proceeded to ask. "Now, where are we?"

The three wizards of Crime Sorcière were quite tired and weary from the battle against Deliora. All of them had several wounds and burns on their bodies, their clothes were damaged with several cuts showing their skin. But the one with the most serious injuries was certainly Jellal as he had been dealing with both Deliora and Jiemma at the same time for a long time.

"Truly impressive." A man's voice spoke.

They collectively looked over; their eyes immediately fell on the vision they witnessed leaving all of them stunned for a few seconds. The beauty of the approaching blonde-haired woman was easily comparable to Fiore's most charming girls, if not more so. Beside her was the source of said voice, which happened to belong to the same man they had entrusted the two girls to minutes ago, the two girls in question were by their side as well.

Shaking his head lightly, the nightmare mage was the first to ask. "Who are you?"

Yasaka only had a smile of gratitude on her lips, she then took a look at the blonde nun. "Asia, can you please land a hand to these three gentlemen? Their wounds do not look life-threatening, but they seem quite serious, I can tell they've been fighting for quite some time."

"O-of course, Lady Yasaka!" The nun exclaimed as she run to heal them.

Now, Yasaka and Azazel were glancing with curious at the new arrivals, all of them were fully human, yet both the blonde-haired Youkai and the Fallen Angel could feel their magic power, in all likelihood the three weren't even fighting at full strength. The three individuals were very different from each other; the first they looked at was a man in his nearly late-twenties with dark-tanned skin and spiky, upward-styled maroon hair, with lock of bangs on the middle of his forehead, he had pointed ears and sharp purple eyes. He also sported a visible scar on his now blinded right eye, which seemed to be close permanently. His outfit consisted in a long whitish coat with a high fur-trimmed collar and brown cuffs, underneath he wore a dark maroon tight sweater, a pair of dark brown trousers held by a maroon belt and grey shoes.

The second was a blue-haired very good-looking man with a strange dark-red tattoo above and under his right eye. He looked like to be on the same age as the first mage. He sported a navy-blue, high-collar long jacket reaching down his knees, distinguished by a grey fur trimmings around the neck and cuffs, with elbow bands of the same colour, and light-blue trimmings on the coat's tail. Two brown belts around the waist. Underneath his coat, he wore a high-collared light-grey tunic that matched his slack's colour. He also wore a pair of brown knee-high boots.

The last individual was a lean, slightly seemingly effeminate, man with black spiky hair on top and straight white long wavy hair that reached down his back, had a braid of white hair framing on the left side, red eyes and dark-purple lipstick. Like his comrades, he also wore a long vest, but his was a white fur-trimmed light brown coat, with a black chocker around his neck. On his wrist he also wore a black and grey wristband. Internally, he went for a black shirt with x-formed white stripes on the centre of it. White trousers decorated by a black line on the right side, with a stylized skull at the top of it, with black shoes. He looked like to be the youngest.

The first one to be attended by Asia was Erik. "Hm? You're the nun from before." He voiced bluntly.

"Y-yes, sir. My name is Asia Argento." Asia greeted politely in a shy and innocent tone. The Dragon Slayer gazed at her lifting an eyebrow, there wasn't even the need to use his Hearing Magic to tell this girl wouldn't hurt a fly or even step on an ant. As Asia extended her arms to him, two silver rings appeared on her middle fingers while they began to glow in a bright-green light. Soon, Erik's injuries started to disappear, apparently, that strange power shared a strong resemblance with Healing Magic, even though it wasn't as powerful as that Sky Dragon Slayer girl's, it was still quite useful. "This should do it." Asia was done with her healing. "I also would like to thank you for saving my life Mr… uhm…"

"Cobra." Erik muttered out. "The name's Cobra."

"Oh… ahem." She was a bit taken aback by his tone. "Then, I deeply thank you for saving my life, Mr. Cobra." Asia repeated with a bright smile as she bowed before the man that saved her from the Etherious.

Erik just waved her off. "Just Cobra's fine. I ain't the kind of guy that gives a crap about formalities. And you're welcome." He briefly returned while closing his eyes.

Asia was quizzically looking at the mage who introduced himself as Cobra and she wasn't going to lie, at first glance, the scarred man looked menacing and a bit intimidating, with the typical bad guy-like appearance, that would probably scare people away from him. Yet Asia wasn't the kind of person who judged a book by its cover, so she wasn't going to label him for it.

"Thanks for patching me up, by the way." Cobra thanked the nun with a small genuine smile.

Asia stared for some moments at the scarred Dragon Slayer, but immediately beamed again. "You're very welcome, Cobra." Smiling and nodding, she proceeded to heal the next mage, who was Jellal.

"I thank you for your help, Asia. Your Healing Magic is truly incredible." The blue-haired mage smiled at the blonde nun. "My name is Jellal Fernandes."

Asia bowed with a grateful smile of her own. "Thank you for the compliment Mr. Jellal. But this power of mine isn't exactly magic. It's a result of my Sacred Gear, Twilight Healing. A gift the Lord had given me since my birth." She explained. In contrast to Cobra, Jellal looked like a kind and calmer individual, his aura assured kindness and politeness, which Asia immediately acknowledged.

'Sacred Gear? What is it? Some weapon of sort?' Jellal wondered in curiosity.

His thoughts were interrupted by the young Kitsune who was approaching him with a sheepish smile on her face. "I-I… Thank you, Mr…" She spoke uncertainly.

"Please, you two make me sound old, you can just call me Jellal if you wish." Jellal said with a chuckle.

"Right… Jellal, thank you so much for saving me… if you weren't around, me and Asia would have… died by that demon's hands." She was having difficulty to murmur those words for understandable reasons. She then bowed her head in respect and thankfulness. "My name is Kunou, and I'm the daughter of Yasaka, the ruler of this city." The small Youkai introduced herself.

Jellal quirked a brow. 'I assume Yasaka would be that blonde woman, they do look alike… perhaps they're the people we need for learning where we are.' He then smiled and patted his hand on the girl's shoulder. "It was no issue at all, that demon was our responsibility after all." Gaining another beam from the small girl.

As Asia was done healing Jellal, she went past and used her Sacred Gear to heal Macbeth's injuries. The nightmare mage found that kind of power peculiar, but not as impressive as he thought. Healing Magic was no rarity back to Earth Land after all.

"Thank you for attending my injuries, Asia." Macbeth thanked with a small almost imperceptible smile.

Asia nodded and returned the smile once again, her shy and innocent attitude still there. "It's no problem, I am the one who should thank you…"

"Midnight. You can call me Midnight." Macbeth followed Erik's example and decided to go for his codename.

"Understood, Mr. Midnight." Asia replied. At first sight, Midnight has shown to be a calm, rather cool and laid-back individual, at the same time shady, and was hard to define overall, it seemed as if he didn't want to let his true emotions shine through.

Jellal glanced at his guildmates with lost gaze as for why both of them decided to use their aliases again. He knew that, despite his appearance and his rudeness, Erik was a shy individual with a soft side. Macbeth wasn't as shy as Erik, but he was the most reserved and taciturn member of the guild, he usually didn't talk much with people he still didn't trust, preferring to speak when it was necessary. But for them to not reveal their real names? Perhaps it was a matter of trust? Now that he thought about it, during missions, the former Oracion Seis members, especially the two of them, rarely introduced themselves to people, even after saving them. And the few times they did, they just gave their code name, except on rare occasions.

"Well, that was a stunt you guys pulled out there." The man said. "I haven't seen so powerful humans in generations." Azazel complimented. He then turned over to Yasaka. "Yasaka, I guess it'd be best to erase the citizen's memory, at least today's just in case. What do you say?" He proposed.

Yasaka sighed a bit, but agreed with the Fallen Angel. "Yes, as much as I dislike it to resort to such measures, I believe it'd be the wisest decision. The last thing we need is for people to go panic and start spreading the news."

Now full healed, the three men got up. Even though they didn't feel physical pain anymore, their tiredness was far from being gone. Apparently that Sacred Gear, Twilight Healing could heal any type of injuries, even the wielder's, but couldn't restore stamina.

"So, I'm safe to assume none of you are humans, right?" Jellal asked them.

"That is closely correct, expect for Ms. Asia here, Azazel, Kunou and I are far long from being humans." Yasaka replied smiling.

The trio rose their eyebrows, staring at both leaders and the young Youkai fox like they were some anomaly. Well, there were Demons that looked like humans back in Earth Land, as well as Dragons, Mard Geer and Acnologia, to name a few, they both had their own human forms. Yet, they didn't sense any demonic magic coming from them, nor they could feel draconic magic. While Erik was still capable to read their minds, he still couldn't understand shit, as he had no idea what a Youkai was, he knew about Angels due to Sorano's ramblings about her being an Angel in the old days. Religion was still a thing in Earth-Land after all, as much as he wasn't exactly religious himself. He more or less had a general idea of what the Fallen Angels were all about, but he honestly just wanted to it to hear it from them himself.

"Hahah! You lots should look at your faces. Looks like you just saw ghosts." Azazel laughed making the mages to stare at him blankly. "Here's my pitch. How about we have a chat over a plate of sushi? No worries, that's my treat." He offered.

"Seriously, there's no need for you to disturb yourselves." Jellal answered courteously.

"But we insist." Yasaka pressed meeting the mages' gazes. "I'll be sincere, words cannot express how grateful I am to you for protecting my city and its citizens. The least we can do is to offer a dinner to our saviours. Also…" She walked over the three men stopping a few meters away from them, she then made a respectful bow. "You saved my daughter and Asia's life; Jellal, Cobra, Midnight you have my eternal and heartfelt gratitude." She finished with all the truthfulness she could muster.

The trio was left speechless by the woman's speech, but they knew she meant every word of it. Jellal simply smiled back at the woman, but the other two mages felt a little… awkward and odd, receiving compliments for good acts wasn't a thing they were used to, let alone picturing themselves as 'heroes'.

"Plus, you three seem kinda broke." Azazel consciously added with a smirk.

Kyoto was a lot of things, a tourist spot, one of the leading sites in Japan, but it was also a place where the best typical Japanese delicacies could be tested. After Azazel managed to erase Kyoto's inhabitants memories, the two supernatural leaders offered to the wizards a hearty dinner at one of the most renowned restaurants in the city. To prevent any hassles and discuss, Azazel and Yasaka booked a private dining room.

By what they could unknowledge, the food was overall very similar to what they were used to back in Earth Land, yet at the same time, diverse. For instance sushi itself, or, ramen, onigiri, sashimi you name it, didn't exist in their world. Each one of them ordered different dishes: Jellal ordered a bowl of ramen, Erik went for sashimi and Macbeth opted for yakitori with Potato Salad as side dish. Azazel and Yasaka ate a traditional sushi, while Kunou and Asia just ordered nigiri. Of course, not knowing how to use Japanese chopsticks for obvious reasons, the mages asked if it was possible to use the classic cutlery, under the guise of them being foreigners and not used to Japanese's customs.

The restaurant room was refined decor that included classic Japanese flower arrangements and hanging scrolls pinned on the walls, with a big shoji that gave sight of Kyoto's panorama. In the middle of the room was a large table that fitted at least 8 people, in the corners of the room were pots of bonsais and hanging lanterns as added decoration.

After a brief Q&A, the trio came to realize they really was transported into a new world, or dimension, that part was still unclear. Currently, the two supernatural leaders were explaining how the supernatural worked. For her part, Yasaka told them about her own faction, the West Youkai Faction, to be more precise, how they coexisted with humans in Kyoto for years, also mentioning her mastery in Fox Fire and Youjutsu. Instead, Azazel started to inform the wizards about the Three Biblical Faction. Now the middle of the conversation was the great war between the Angels of Heaven, Fallen Angels of Grigori and the Devils. Also mentioning their temporally truce to fight the two Heavenly Dragons, the White Dragon Emperor, Albion and the Red Dragon Emperor, Ddraig.

Meanwhile, Jellal took an interested glance. "So, the souls of these two dragons were trapped inside these Sacred Gears, Asia mentioned to have one. What are them?" He asked while pouring a little water into his glass.

Azazel had now a 'know-it-all' grin on his face. "I'm happy you asked. I happen to be a savvy as Sacred Gears are kinda my thing, so listen to me." He said with a smug smirk making the mage stare at him while sweat dropping a bit. "Sacred Gears are items of intense power exclusive found into humans bestowed by Father himself. Normally, Sacred Gears are classified by types, the top-tier ones are called Longinus, which happened to be the same class as the two Dragon Emperors." The Fallen Angel went on his explanation with pride as he had the chance to flex his knowledge about Sacred Gears.

After explaining how the two dragons' souls ended up inside two Longinus Sacred Gears, the mage took some moments to store the information. Azazel's story concluded a couple of minutes later.

Uncorking his bottle of beer, the Dragon Slayer sipped a bit of it as his glass already contained water. "So, to sum it up, these three main powers wared one another for some time…" Erik started asking while placing the bottle on the table.

"…and it ended without a victor?" Macbeth concluded as he sipped a bit of his glass of water.

"Exactly, after God and the Four Great Satans were killed, the war came to an end, well… more like a ceasefire. With the millennia to come, the situation between the Three Factions began to cool off slightly. Unfortunately though, there are still occasional conflicts even nowadays, it's much like a cold war." Azazel explained. "I was the first one to retreat, followed by others in tow." He kept on while picking a bit of his sushi with his sticks.

Jellal was also eating his ramen, with fork and spoon nonetheless. Japanese people would call his act a pure sin, but he was more than justified as he wasn't Japanese. "So, was it a peace act?" Jellal asked curiously.

"More like an armistice." Azazel cleared. "Sadly, there hasn't been an out-and-out peace treaty."

"Is peace really that hard to achieve?" Macbeth asked.

"It's not that easy..." Azazel said as he shook his head disappointingly. "Even now the whole Three Factions' scenario is hanging by a thread. After the Great War ended, all of us lost a good amount of people. For example, Grigori was the one who suffered the heaviest numbers of losses, starting a war now would turn into a massacre, and I'd like to avoid pointless bloodshed." He replied in a calm yet serious tone.

"Makes sense." The Dragon Slayer said.

"Yeah… Like I said, the situation is still pretty messed up, especially when it comes to Devils matters, their story is a bit nastier." The Fallen Angel leader continued.

"How come?" Erik inquired.

Azazel went on and summarized the mage the tricky Devils' stories, which included their own civil war that happened between the Old Satan Faction and the Anti-Satan Faction, the first one believed in Devil supremacy as they wished to start a second war against the rest of the factions, in contrast to them, the Anti-Satan Faction strongly opposed to a second war as they believed that another war could lead the Devil race into extinction. Even now the situation between the two Devil factions was far from being resolved.

"…eventually, the Anti-Satan Faction won the civil war. The new Four Great Satans took charge, their current leader is Sirzechs Lucifer, one of the most powerful Devils out there, if I might add." Azazel went on. "Anyway, the numbers of pure-blooded drastically dropped, nearly leading the entire Devil population to extinction. And that's when Evil Pieces came into existence." The Governor General told them.

"Evil Pieces?" Jellal rose a brow.

"Yeah, you know the Chess game?" The Fallen Angel asked, gaining nods from the mage. It was true, Chess was a rather famous game even back on Earth-Land. While Erik totally sucked at it and Macbeth wasn't really into it, Jellal was actually a pretty good player. The rules, the board and the pieces' names were the same, the only difference was their design and style.

"They're basically a set of 15 pieces that can reincarnate other beings into Devils. So, one Queen, two Bishops, two Knights, two Rooks and eight Pawns. Usually, only pure-blooded High-class and Ultimate class Devils are allowed to use them."

"Hang on, what about the King?" Jellal asked.

"The King is the pure-blooded Devil in question." Azazel pointed out. "The same Devil who reincarnate other folks into their servants. Groups of reincarnated Devils who serve under a King are called peerages."

The Dragon Slayer and the nightmare mage widened their eyes and gasped for a moment, soon sharing a glare at the new information. "Servants?..." Macbeth voiced narrowing his eyes.

"Yeah… I forgot to mention, once someone is reincarnated into a Devil, they basically turn into their own slaves." Azazel tried to summarize. "Sadly, despite their initial mean to help increasing the numbers of the Devils' population, it still has its flaws." The Governor elaborated.

The mages went silent as they waited for Azazel to finish what he was saying.

"Though, there are pure-blooded Devils who treat their servants with respect, there's a good quantity of them who see their peerages as nothing more than cockroaches, something to be stepped on."

Jellal visibly frowned, not liking what he was hearing, remorse and regret started to occupy his memories… as a child, when he took over the Tower of Heaven, he enslaved people, hurt people, sold people and had execute people, and despite the attempts to fight the evil in the world with his guild, he still believed he was far from being forgiven as his former actions still hunted his mind nowadays. He did know the 'he' of the past wasn't technically him, but he honestly was done to overuse that excuse ever again. Macbeth and Erik, on the other hand, unleashed a small fraction of their magic auras out of anger, their fists were clenched and their faces darkened which didn't go unnoticed to Azazel, Yasaka, Kunou and Asia. They despised prison, they loathed anyone who claimed to own other people's lives, having been some of the many children to be enslaved back in the Tower of Heaven, and their time under Brain's command, they knew what it felt like to be forced under someone else's rule and have freedom stripped away from them.

"Cobra, Midnight…" Yasaka voiced in a kind and genuinely concerned tone. "Are you two alright?" She asked softly. The others were all looking at them somewhat worried too.

The two mages were puzzled by the question, but shook their head almost immediately, though they deep down both appreciated the thoughtfulness the leader of the Youkais showed to them.

"Don't worry…" The scarred Dragon Slayer replied. "We're fine."

"Mhh…" Macbeth only murmured glancing at the table with a half-lidded eyes.

Yasaka, Kunou and Asia weren't convinced in the slightest, but decided to not press the matter as it seemed too delicate to be talked right away. Azazel had a sympathetic look as well, the look on their faces was enough to tell those three have been to hell and back since their childhood. Even Jellal realized their scars from the past were still fresh, and they were far from freed. There was an awkward silence for at least more than ten minutes. Fortunately, the conversation managed to go on, Macbeth and Erik decided to set aside their thoughts and continued to answer their questions. As their talk went on, the three mages began to tell them about Earth-Land, their last battle against the demons…

"So, you're saying you never supposed to be here?" Azazel asked them. They have been asking them questions about they're circumstances, mentioning the fact there was a possibility for them to be transported from Earth-Land to a different world, or dimension.

"And each one of you are wizards who have been fighting this 'dark guild' you mentioned before for months, but you were somehow teleported during your last confrontation?" Yasaka asked with the same interest. The two girls were also listening.

"That's correct." Jellal replied as he finished to eat his ramen and placed his fork and knife on the table. "Based on what you've told us, it's likely that during our last battle, we were somehow transported to an alternate dimension. It's just a theory for now, but I think it's the most plausible."

"Really?" Kunou tiled her head while asking.

"Yes, at least that's what I could come up with." Jellal confirmed with a nod.

"But how? I mean, it must be somebody's fault." Kunou said.

"That would be mine, at least half of it." Macbeth voiced as he stared at the table with a neutral expression. However, there was a hint of remorse in his tone, which his guildmates already noticed.

"What do you mean by that, Midnight?" Kunou inquired in confusion.

Macbeth flinched as he crossed his arms, not answering instantly. "…It was a result of one of my spells." He shifted his eyes at her while continuing his explanation. "We've been struggling against that demon and its allies for a while, until one of them used a powerful curse that erases matter itself. To tackle it, I cast one of my most lethal spells with the hope of removing the curse. Unfortunately, our two attacks fused with one another forming a portal-like void that sucked us here. The rest you know." He explained.

'Could they have accessed to the Dimensional Gap? If so, it may really be dimensional jump…' Yasaka considered. "Yes, I suppose we do. But there's one thing that caught my interest." She spoke up making the mages looking at her. "Earlier, Midnight mentioned your capacity of using magic. If it's no trouble asking, would you tell us what kind of magic you're capable of casting?" The Youkai leader asked with curious.

Finishing his beer the scarred slayer spoke first. "Why not I suppose. You guys shelled out quite the cash to make us eat, so it's only fair telling ya." Erik shrugged after placing the empty bottle on the table. "I'm a Dragon Slayer, a Poison Dragon Slayer to be more precise. Simply put, Dragon Slayer Magic is a lost magic of our world, strong enough to slay dragons." He stated making them look at him with interest.

"Wow!" Asia and Kunou both exclaimed.

"As for me, I use Heavenly Body Magic. As its name implies, my magic is based around astronomical objects, such as meteors, constellations, light and black holes. Thanks to my magic, I can manipulate aforementioned elements at my will." Jellal told them.

"My magic is called Reflector Magic, which grants me the ability to reflect, distort and modify all matter of objects tangible, or intangible as well as light or air, save for living beings. Obviously our knowledge of magic doesn't stop at the sole mastery of a single type or element, these are just the abilities we utilize mainly." Macbeth clarified as he placed his last yakitori stick on his plate.

"That's amazing!" Asia commented smiling.

"Wow, all your magic sounds strong!" Kunou said in amazement.

'No kidding, as Yasaka said before these three are strong, strong enough to rival, or even surpass, a Dragon King. Despite being only humans, their strength would put Ultimate Class Devils to shame for sure. Hell, I bet even I would have a hard time against them…' Azazel noted. 'What bothers me more is how in the name of God was that freak able to overwhelm my light and my barrier?' He questioned.

"You told us about this 'dark guild' you were after, but what exactly is a guild?" Asia asked with interest

"A guild is a type of organisation very common in our world where wizards of all kind come together to form it. The purpose of a guild is to obtain and complete job requests in exchange for money. Usually, all guilds have a main building where it also serves as operation base. But, unlike any other guild, we don't have an exact base building. Our guild is called Crime Sorcière, founded by myself with the purpose of eradicate the dark guilds, criminal organisations and corrupted cults of our world. I've been doing this for seven years." Jellal explained then gestured his guildmates. "Midnight and Cobra joined me years later, and they've been a great help for the time being." He added.

Upon hearing this, Yasaka's attention was captured as she was looking at the blue-haired mage with interest. To say she wasn't intrigued and fascinated by Jellal's words would be an understatement. In this world humans struggled to deal with the supernatural, at least the few ones who were aware of its existence, hence getting to know humans who could not only stand up to powerful beings, but surpass them with ease was something hard to take one's eyes off. The fact they were using their power to fight against the evil of their world was remarkable as well. She momentarily dismissed those thoughts and spoke. "I have to say, this is very considerate and admirable of you and your guild Jellal. Risking your life to come help people in need is a very noble cause, quite a rarity if I say so myself." She praised.

Jellal chuckled a little in appreciation of the blonde's compliment. "Well, since our guild's independence, getting a proper payment for the jobs is a little more complicated, but so far we managed to get by. As long as we can take down evil threats." He explained her with the same tone, but managed to regain his calm self. "However, the more dark guilds are out there, the more we had to work and train harder." He and his comrades knew there was more than that to be told, but now that wasn't the time to chat about their personal and past lives.

"So." The blonde Youkai turned serious. "Am I right to assume these dark guilds are pretty common when you come from?" Yasaka inquired.

The three wizards exchanged glances but nodded in response. After all, everyone of them were former dark mages themselves, who better than them could have explained the situation exhaustively.

"Yup." Erik was the one to speak. "You see, pretty big stuff's been happening at home, and that includes these demons as well." Erik added with a smirk, but dropped it almost instantly. "And let me tell you, it ain't sunshine and rainbows for the most part." He added while narrowing his eyes a little.

"W-what do you mean?" Kunou inquired as she shivered slightly.

"That giant asshole we got rid of hours ago was just one of the many demons that used to scurry around on our world. And that one was a real piece of work, one of the strongest among the others actually." The Dragon Slayer told them.

Azazel placed a hand under his chin. "Others? Are there more of them out there?"

"It's complicated..." Jellal immediately answered. "That demon should've been dead for years. Its name was Deliora, and it was one of the many demons created by the Books of Zeref."

'Books of Zeref?' Azazel thought.

"If this Zeref person was the creator of all these demons of the same species as this Deliora, he must've been fairly powerful for being the responsible of the creation of such destructive beasts." Yasaka wondered.

"That's right." Jellal nodded uncomfortably to them. "He was… known to be the most powerful dark wizards of our world's history, earning the title of Legendary Black Wizard. Hundreds of years ago, he was affected by a curse after having tried to master the Black Arts, which granted him immortality." That made the two faction leaders and the two young ones to wide their eyes. "However, over the course of the years, Zeref grew to loathe his immortality, his curse started to go out of control starting to kill anyone who came near him, no matter whether friends or enemies." He trailed off. The interested parties paying attention to him. "Therefore, he came to one conclusion… in order to make amends for all his sins he wished to die." The blue-haired mage continued his tale.

Asia and Kunou had horrified looks on their faces mixed with fear at the very thought of how many innocent lives he ended, even unknowingly. Azazel and Yasaka didn't lose their composure, yet the blonde-haired woman couldn't help but make a sad look.

"Despite his desire to die and trying any mean to do so, death never came on its own. That wish led him to create beings powerful enough to slay him." Jellal continued.

The four who were listening gained a look of realization, and couldn't believe what they heard.

"S-so…" Asia tried to speak but couldn't at the very thought of how someone could create certain monsters.

"Yes, that was one of those beings. A demon born with the sole purpose of killing its creator…" Jellal confirmed while clicking his tongue a bit. "Years passed, and dozens of demons roamed around our world, destroying different cities and towns on their wake. Deliora was one of them, its destructive power was so high it gained the name of Demon of Destruction. Despite that, it was said to be dead, frozen in the ice to death by a powerful Ice mage."

"Then how was it still alive?" Azazel asked.

"The dark guild we were fighting must've brought it back to life... somewhat. We still don't know the means though." The blue-haired mage crossed his arms before continuing. "Over the past few months, they started to target cities, killing their inhabitants because of their disdain for humans… This guild was notorious for being comprised mostly of demons from the Books of Zeref, and one of the strongest dark guild's in Earth-Land." Jellal explained as his tone turned grimmer.

"R-really?" Kunou gasped in fear, gaining a nod from him.

"T-they kill…" Asia gulped in terror, blanching a little. Her eyes watered up a bit. "…innocent people just for their humanity…"

Azazel gained a serious expression, but preferred to not comment.

Yasaka narrowed her eyes at the news. Chances are this group of demons ended up in this world as well, and finish what they started here. And certainly, she would never let those murderers to get near her city and citizens. "If they ever come here to my territory they'll have to get through me first… Nobody harms my city and gets away with it." She said with seriousness and resolution. "Tell me. What is this guild's name?" She asked earnestly.

Jellal had a bitter look for some moments before responding. If Jiemma was able to revive Mard Geer, then it was now more than certain he'd do the same thing again and bring back to life more demons. Maybe one of the Nine Demon Gates, if that were the case, it would be a big problem. "A guild made almost entirely of demons of the Books of Zeref. Its name is Tartaros." He replied bitterly.

Another chapter done.

Yep, the wizard trio met with Azazel, Yasaka, Kunou and Asia. Their new journey will start from Kyoto, and getting acquainted with two powerful leaders of Azazel and Yasaka's calibre is no small feat, I'd say. The leaders already noticed the mages' tremendous strenght and great magic power, and already expressed interests. Will they ally with Grigori and Youkais? Will they be strong enough to face the eventual threats? Because of course Tartaros won't be their only problem to deal with.

Hope you liked this! Again, leave your reviews, your opinions and point out my errors as my grammar isn't exactly the best, so I can eventually fix them.

Thanks for reading and see you the next chapter!
