Chapter 4: The Dancer of the night and battle between White Dragon and Dragon Knight.
Inside of Den City's hospital, Ash was leaning his back against the wall with his arms crossed and his right leg against the wall. He was currently waiting outside the operation room for Skye. He was still wearing his new school uniform with his Duel Disk still on his left forearm. The White Dragon Emperor was tapping his left foot in impatience as he waited. Azure was silent as he knew that this wasn't a good time to start a conversation.
As he waited, Ash thought back to when he found Skye unconscious back at school earlier today.
(Flashback)
Ash was running down the hallway of Den City High School, searching urgently for Skye. Earlier, he left Blue Angel's body in a safe location for SOL Technologies drones to find her, while he exited LINK VRAINS to search for her body in the real world. Currently, he was running up the stairs to the next floor and stopped in the hallway. "Where could she be?" The White Dragon Emperor said in concern for the idol of LINK VRAINS.
"Ash, head to the roof!" Azure told his partner, getting Ash to frown as he lifted his left arm up to look at his Duel Disk and Azure. "The roof?" The 17-year-old boy questioned in confusion, before he widened his eyes as he figured out something. "Of course! The rooftop!" The White Dragon Emperor called out as he started running up the stairs again to reach the rooftop.
"I saw Skye earlier this morning, meaning she has to still be here in school". Ash said as he rushed up the stairs to reach the rooftop. "To keep her identity a secret, she has to find someplace secured where no one else would find her". Azure commented as his partner reached the rooftop door and it opened for him, allowing the White Dragon Emperor to step into the rooftop.
"The roof's been off limits until yesterday, meaning it's a good place to hide". The 17-year-old boy said as he turned his head left and right to stop Skye, but didn't see her anywhere. Ash began to walk around the entrance as he searched for her. "Come on Skye. She has to be here somewhere". Ash stated as he looked right to see if she was there, but didn't see anything.
Out of nowhere, the ringing of a phone got both Ash and Azure's attention as the ringtone was very close. The White Dragon Emperor ran towards the other side of the entrance, before he gasped at what he saw. Sitting down on the ground was Skye with her Duel Disk on her left forearm, but she had her head down with her bangs covering her eyes.
"Skye!" Ash exclaimed in concern as he ran over to Skye and knelt down in front of her, before he placed his hands on her shoulders and shook her a bit. However, he received no response from her and she didn't even move an inch. The White Dragon Emperor gritted his teeth at seeing her like this. The ringing got Ash's attention again as he placed his right hand in Skye's jacket pocket and brought out her phone with the screen showing Akira's page with the words 'calling' underneath.

After that, Ash had answered the call and told Akira that he was gonna take Skye to Den City's hospital. Akira had thanked Ash and told him that he'd meet up with them there, before he ended the call. The White Dragon Emperor then called the hospital and told them about Skye. 2 hours later lead to here, where Ash was waiting outside the operation room impatiently.
Speaking of which, the green glowing sign that said 'Operating Room' stopped glowing, getting Ash's attention as he looked right and saw the doors slide open to reveal 2 female nurses and a male doctor pushing a stretcher with an unconscious Skye on it. The White Dragon Emperor watched as the two nurses and doctor pushed the stretcher past him, but that was when Akira ran into the hallway and saw his sister.
"No Skye!" The adult man exclaimed as he rushed over to the stretcher to reach his sister. "What happened to you?!" Akira questioned as he gripped onto the stretcher, but a female nurse pushed him back. "You need to calm down sir; we're doing everything we can for her". The nurse told Akira, who watched as the other female nurse and doctor push the stretcher further away, before he turned to look at the one holding him back.
"But my sister needs me". The Security Manager of SOL Technologies told the nurse, wanting to get closer to his sister. "I can assure you, she's in good hands". The nurse told Akira, making him go silent and slightly back off. The nurse gave him a small bow with her head, before walked after the other nurse and doctor with Akira watching them with his hands now fists as they turned a corner and was now out of sight.
Ash pushed himself off the wall, having watched Akira talk with the female nurse with narrowed eyes. 'So this is Skye's step brother, Akira Zaizen'. The White Dragon Emperor thought to himself with narrowed eyes as he uncrossed his arms. Akira then turned around to face Ash. "You're the young man who found her?" Akira asked Ash, who nodded to her. "Yeah. She's been like that since I found her at school, even when we got here". The 17-year-old boy answered the older male, taking a quick look with his left eye at his Duel Disk and saw Azure listening in on the conversation.
"How could this have happened to her? No, how could I have let this happen?" Akira said with his head down with a sad look, feeling guilty that he allowed this to happen. The 26-year-old then looked back at Ash, whose expression remained neutral. "How were you able to find her anyway?" The Security Manager of SOL Technologies questioned the younger male, wanting to know how Ash found his sister when she was unconscious.
"I found her when I went up to the rooftop. We were gonna talk about a project that we were doing together, but then I saw her like that and called the hospital". Ash answered the older male, telling a lie so that his identity of being White Dragon Mask could remain a secret. "I see". Akira said as he closed his eyes and smiled. "How lucky of her. Good to know she has friends". The 26-year-old added as he opened his eyes and gave Ash a smile.
"I'm sorry this happened to her. I hope she gets better soon". The White Dragon Emperor told Akira, before he turned around and began to head back to the hotel. "Hey. Hold on a second". Akira requested, getting Ash to stop walking, but he didn't turn to look at the 26-year-old. "I didn't get the chance to thank you Mr…" The 26-year-old said before he stopped when he realized that he didn't know Ash's name.
Ash looked over his left shoulder to look at the older male. "The name's Satoshi Fudo, but just call me Ash". The White Dragon Emperor told the older male, before he looked forward and continued on his way back to the hotel, leaving Akira staring at his back as he walked away.
(Later at the hotel)
An hour has passed since Ash left the hospital. First he had went back to Den City High School to retrieve his Duel Runner, pick up Lulu and go pick up Saya from the orphanage. When all three tasks were done, they all returned to the hotel to rest. Azure had sent a message to Yusaku and Ai earlier that day to tell them what happened and to meet tomorrow at Kolter's fan.
Currently, Ash was sitting down on a couch, looking down in thought. On his left side was Lulu, sitting down on the couch with a concerned look directed at him. On Ash's right side was Saya, sitting down on a couch chair, looking at her father in concern as well. In the middle of them was a glass table were Ash and Lulu's Duel Disks with both Azure and Raven looking at their partners.
"This just proves how far the Knights of Hanoi are willing to go for their ambitions. To even use someone that wasn't part of them to Duel one of us and get an Ignis is proof enough". Ash stated with narrowed eyes, gripping his hands together tightly with his teeth slightly gritting against each other, showing just how ticked off he was. "Whatever the Hanoi did to Blue Angel must be something new. When I ate that program and that Dark Angel card, it should have fixed everything. Yet Skye Zaizan is still out of it". The White Dragon Ignis commented with his eye narrowed, thinking back to when he ate the program out of Blue Angel without harming her.
"If eating the program didn't wake her up, does that mean that the Knights of Hanoi have a cure forever this is?" Lulu questioned, looking from her mate to the two Ignis in the Duel Disks. "That's likely possible, but that doesn't mean that the Hanoi are just gonna hand it over to us. To get it, we're gonna need to draw the Hanoi to us". Raven told her partner with a sharp tone, getting the purple haired girl to narrow her eyes and grit her teeth.
"So does that mean until we get the cure, Skye will stay unconscious?" Saya questioned with a concerned look on her face for the idol of LINK VRAINS. "Yup. Without that cure program, Blue Angel is gonna be sleeping for a long time". Azure answered the 7-year-old girl, turning to look at her. Ash let out a small growl as he lowered his head to his hands.
"I shouldn't have Duel. If I had just refused, she'd be alright". The White Dragon Emperor said in shame, feeling like it was his fault that this happened to Skye. Lulu and Saya looked at Ash with worried looks, seeing just how bad this was affecting him. Azure watched his partner with a narrowed eye, not liking seeing him being consumed with guilt.
"Ash…" The White Dragon Ignis said to his partner, getting Ash to lift his head up from his hands and look at Azure. "What's done cannot be undone. All we can do now is figure out a way to fix this. Feeling sorry for Skye about what happened won't help her. Get your act together and get ready to get some payback on the Knights of Hanoi for what they've done!" Azure told his partner with a sharp look, making Ash slightly gasp and widen his eyes in surprise, before he chuckled with his eyes closed.
"You're right. Feeling guilty won't make things right…" Ash began as he reached out towards his Duel Disk with his right hand and grabbed it. "We're gonna find those guys from the Hanoi and make them cough the cure up, the easy way or the hard way". The White Dragon Mask finished with a smirk on his face, making everyone smile at seeing him all better now.
"That's what I like to hear!" Azure exclaimed with a pleased look on his face, happy to see his partner get his act together. Ash smiled at his partner, before he looked at Lulu, who had a happy smile on her face. "We'll rest for now, but tomorrow we get to work on finding the Hanoi". The White Dragon Emperor told his girlfriend, which the purple haired girl nodded to her beloved.
"This can't be done alone. We're gonna need Yusaku, Ai and the others to track down the Hanoi". Raven told the 17-year-old male, getting Ash and Lulu to look at the Bird Ignis. "We know Raven. We can't do this alone after all". The 16-year-old female told her Ignis partner as she picked up her Duel Disk and held it in front of her so that she could look at her partner better.
"That's good to hear. I understand your feelings, but you can't act recklessly, or else the Knights of Hanoi will take advantage of that". The Bird Ignis told the humans, getting Azure to move his eye up and down as if he was nodding. "Raven's right. We need to plan our course of action, not rush into battle, or else we'll play right into the Knights of Hanoi's hands". The White Dragon Ignis said in agreement to his mate's words, getting Ash to look at his partner and nod to him.
Saya was silent as she watched her parents, happy to see them getting along with their Ignis partners. However, she then grew a sad look on her face as she felt jealous of her parents having partners of their own and wished she had an Ignis for herself. She even felt jealous that her parents could go into LINK VRAINS and enjoy themselves whenever they want.

A digital tunnel appeared with balls of data going down, before a glowing eye appeared and disappeared to reveal a data Duel Disk attach to Playmaker's shadow. The shadow then disappeared to reveal the words 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Vrains White Dragon Emperor'.

On a sunny day inside Den City Yusaku, Ash and Rose were walking around the part, each carrying their bags in separate styles. Nearby, Naoki waved as he ran up to the three. Nearby, The Gore was jogging on the walkway of a bridge road full of cars, wearing a dark gray hoodie and jeans.
(Our doorway to the dream world opens)
Late in the afternoon, Skye Zaizen was watching the sunset, before she turned away with a sad look. Not far away, Lulu, Celina, Rin, Zuzu and Saya were all watching the sunset as well with Saya holding both Lulu and Celina's hands. Close by, Kolter was eating a hot dog in his van as he watched the sunset himself. Late at night, Akira was standing next to his car, facing a direction with his hands in his pockets.

In a town full of lights with colorful lines moving sideways, Ash, Yusaku and Rose stood in the middle, facing the opposite direction of the city.

A bright light came from behind the three, showing Ai, Blaze and Azure appearing briefly before the images of a 7-year-old Ash, 6-year old Yusaku and Rose briefly appeared. The three activated their Duel Disks as they entered LINK Vrains as their characters. Playmaker, White Dragon Mask and Black Rose Dragon Mask all appeared riding their Duel Boards separately in a Speed Duel. The three all draw a card from their decks as their ace monsters, Decode Talker, Firewall Dragon, Novaforce Stardust Dragon, White Dragon – Blue Link Dragon and Black Rose Dragon all appeared besides their Duelists.

The Knights of Hanoi, leaded by Spectre appeared with their leaders, Varis and Black Dragon Mask briefly shown, before it changed to show Topologic Bomber Dragon flying across LINK VRAINS. Three separate Data Storms appeared in separate colors, one purple, white and red, raging across LINK VRAINS. Playmaker, Black Rose Dragon Mask and White Dragon Mask were still riding on their Duel Boards atop the Data Storm, their eyes showing determination as they rode side by side.

Blue Angel appeared in a colorful background, taking a pose before her three monsters Trickstar Holly Angel, Trickstar Divarids and Trickstar Bella Madonna appeared, taking a pose behind their Duelist. Gore appeared with a brown background, riding his Duel Board with his two ace monsters, Gouki the Great Ogre and Gouki the Giant Ogre beside him. Purple Night appeared in a black background, riding her purple Duel Board with Lyriluse - Convene Nightingale besides her with her partner Raven inside her Duel Disk. Lunalight Dancer appeared in a purple background on her Duel Board with Lunalight Cat Dancer and Lunalight Lynx Dancer next to her. Carla was in her Duel Disk in her eye form, only the eye was narrowed.
In a green background, Green Witch appeared on her Duel Board with Wendy in her Duel Disk, before Wind Witch – Synthetic Diamond Bell appeared next to her. In a pink background Music Singer appeared on her Duel Board with Yuna in her Duel Disk. Mozart the Melodious Maestra appeared beside her Duelist, taking a stance.

In Den City, Emma rode her motorcycle into the air, before jumping off. Pink energy covered her body, before she twirled around as she transformed into her LINK VRAINS avatar, Ghost Girl. Varis and Black Dragon Mask appeared; ready to Duel with Cracking Dragon behind them. In LINK VRAINS, Playmaker White Dragon Mask both drew a card from their decks, ready to battle their rivals.
Varis and Black Dragon Mask cried out as they jumped onto their own Duel Boards and charged towards Playmaker and White Dragon Mask, before Borrelord Dragon and Eclipserage Deadstar Dragon appeared beside their Duelists. Both Firewall Dragon and Novaforce Stardust Dragon roared before they clashed with Borrelord Dragon and Eclipserage Deadstar Dragon, creating a bright light upon impact.

Playmaker's Cyberse Monsters, Cyberse Wizard, Link Slayer and Bitron all briefly appeared, before they disappeared. Playmaker, White Dragon Mask, Black Rose Dragon Mask, Black Dragon Mask and Varis all appeared on their Duel Boards, going past each other before disappearing. Then Gore, Blue Angel, Purple Night, Green Witch, Music Singer and Lunalight Dancer appeared on their Duel Boards as well, before disappearing into the same background in the beginning.

A day has passed since White Dragon Mask and Blue Angel's Duel in LINK VRAINS. The sun was setting for the day, but the day wasn't over yet. At Den City's plaza was Kolter's van, which was closed to the outside world, but the same couldn't be said for the inside. Inside the van, Ash, Yusaku and Kolter were sitting down on chairs in front of the monitors with the two Duel Disks placed on the counters. Sitting behind the three males were Lulu and Saya, both wearing their casual outfits with the purple haired girl having her Duel Disk on her left forearm with Raven listening in on the conversation.
"Bingo! The hospital's got a narly firewall. But I finally found Skye's chart". Kolter told his comrades, looking at Yusaku and Ash, who were both looking at him. "You two sure love violating people's privacy. First you tinker my brain with your sausage fingers, now you hack hers!" Ai commented with his eye narrowed, getting everyone to look at him. "Cut him some slack, Dark Ignis. Sometimes we have to do the wrong thing to do the right thing". Raven told Ai, getting him to look at her with a confused look.
"And how is that?" The Dark Ignis questioned the Bird Ignis, wondering how doing the wrong thing could be considered doing the right thing. "We don't have time to teach. Kolter, tell us what you've learned". Azure told the purple haired man, getting Kolter to look at the White Dragon Ignis. "Wish I could, but I've got nothing. She barely has any brain activity. Almost none at all. It's like her entire mind has shut down". Kolter told Azure, getting him, Raven and Ai to narrow their eyes.
"Shut down?" Raven questioned, both she, Azure and Ai widened their eyes as they realized something. "Ahh glitch! We know what happened!" Ai called out, now knowing what's wrong with Skye. "She's been infected with a virus!" Azure exclaimed with his eye now narrowed, getting everyone's attention. "What do you by virus?" Saya questioned in confusion, still a little too young to understand what they're saying.
"It's exactly low how Azure said kid, only it's a computer virus. Your human brain is your CPU. So if it gets infected with a virus, your whole body shuts down like a PC in sleep mode". The Dark Ignis explained to everyone in the van for his friend, getting Yusaku to lean down towards his Duel Disk. "Humans can't get computer viruses". The 16-year-old boy pointed out to Ai.
"Then you didn't see what that virus did to Blue Angel when she play Dark Angel's card". Azure told Yusaku with a sharp tone, getting the pink and blue haired boy's attention. "I thought the avatar just went out of control". Kolter remarked, thinking what happened to Blue Angel wasn't the work of a cirus. "You're wrong". Ai told Kolter as he turned to look up at him.
"The virus infected the Duelist via the LINK VRAINS system". Raven explained to the group about the virus and how it affected Blue Angel. "That Hanoi's card must have contained the virus because when I ate it to remove from Blue Angel's body; it had a very strange taste to it." Azure stated, having a brief memory about absorbing the Hanoi's card date from Blue Angel.
"How strange is this data?" Ash questioned the White Dragon Ignis, wanting every detail. "It was strange enough to leave a bad taste for me to handle". Azure answered his partner, remembering the bad taste he had from eating the virus."A Computer virus..." Yusaku said in wonder about the virus that left Skye unconscious. "That allows you to control the brain and a person's body. Trust me; I know a thing or two about controlling the brain". Lulu finished with narrowed eyes and her arms crossed, having experience of being controlled, causing her to shiver as she thought back to when Parasite Fusioner controlled her. "If the Hanoi's is developing such a thing, that's gotta mean someone very smart is on their team". Kolter concluded as he knew not everyone could do something like this.
"Maybe". Ai said with his eye narrowed, thinking if a human can accomplish something like this. Ash was looking down in thought with his right hand holding his chin. "The question now is HOW do we get rid of that virus?" The White Dragon Emperor questioned, wondering how they'll remove the virus. "It's like we explained yesterday, Ash. We need a cure, A.K.A an anti-virus. Only problem is since the Knights of Hanoi created the virus, they'll have the cure and they won't give it up". Azure told his partner with his eye narrowed, getting Ash to lift his head up and look at the monitors.
"What do we do now? Lure the Knights of Hanoi to us?" Lulu questioned with narrowed eyes, getting Yusaku to look at her. Before he could answer, a screen popped up on the monitor, getting everyone's attention as they looked and saw Blue Angel on it. "Hey White Dragon Mask! What you did to me was like so shady. You thought you put me to sleep, but I'm wide awake! I demand a rematch and you are so giving me one!" The Blue Angel on the screen exclaimed as she leaned closer to the screen.
Ash stood up from his chair and looked at the screen with narrowed eyes. Kolter brought up another screen, which showed Skye still sleeping in her hospital room. "Skye is still asleep. There's no way that's the real Blue Angel". The purple haired man stated as Ash grabbed hold of his Duel Disk and placed it on his left forearm.
"Ya don't need my processing power to know that this is a trap! And only the dumbest dummy would be stupid enough walk into it!" Ai exclaimed from inside Yusaku's Duel Disk, which was still on the counter. "What you say may be true Ai, but maybe we could use this to our advantage". Azure told his friend, getting Ai to look at the White Dragon Ignis. "How's that?" Ai questioned his best friend, wondering how they'll take advantage of this.
"We don't have any other leads to saving Skye besides this. Whoever this imposter is, he or she clearly wants me for something and I'm gonna find out what. If we're lucky and this is a Hanoi trap, we can use it to get information about the cure and more about the Knights of Hanoi. And besides, this imposter never said for me to come alone". Ash explained to his friends with a smirk on his face, getting Kolter to smirk.
"I get it. We spring their trap with a trap of our own". The purple haired man said with a smirk, catching in on Ash's plan to outsmart who ever this is. "Exactly. I'll go in and distract this imposter. Yusaku and Lulu will follow me in and watch in secret. When the time is right, you guys jump in on that imposter". The White Dragon Emperor explained to his teammates as he took out his deck and started searching through it.
"This plan sounds reasonable, but there's still a chance of it going wrong and worse, both you and Azure could end up captured!" Raven exclaimed with her eye narrowed, worried about her mate and the chances of him getting captured. "I'm with Raven. Whoever that is, it's gonna be real bad news, man". Kolter stated, watching as Ash finished looking through his cards, before he sat back down on his chair.
"I say bring it on". The White Dragon Emperor said as he held his deck up with his right hand, before he slotted it into his deck with the words 'Into the Vrains' appearing on the side of the Duel Disk. "Just be careful". Lulu told her boyfriend, getting Ash to look up and give her a confident smirk.
"Don't worry, I've got this". The White Dragon Emperor replied to his girlfriend, before he looked down at his Duel Disk. "Time to link into the VRAINS". Ash said with narrowed eyes as his Duel Disk glowed, before a sphere of data surrounded him as he transformed into his alter ego.
First Ash's legs glowed, before they changed to silvery white scaly skin like a dragon's. His shoes turned into silver boots, with four claws sticking out, three at the front and one at the back. Ash's pants turned into long silvery white track pants with custom made scales on it and he even grew a long silvery white dragon tail with the edge looking sharp as a sword.
Ash's shirt disappeared and was replaced by a black short-sleeve shirt appeared, before an open, high collar white long sleeve jacket appeared over the shirt. Ash's hands turned into dragon claws with five fingers, before silvery white fingerless gloves appeared over them. Sticking out of his elbows were razor blades.
Ash grew white dragon wings like Novaforce Stardust Dragon's wings, shedding white energy like his ace monster. His hair color turned silvery white, his ears turned into dragon ears. Ash's teeth turned into dragon fangs, while a white dragon mask that looked identical to Nightshroud's mask appeared over his face, covering it from view and finally, Ash's eyes turned into white dragon like eyes
With his transformation now complete, White Dragon Mask gave out a roar like that of a dragon, before he started flapping his wings and took flight. White energy covered the White Dragon Emperor as he entered LINK VRAINS, before it covered him completely as he disappeared.
(Inside LINK VRAINS)
In the sky above LINK VRAINS, a portal appeared and White Dragon Mask came out, falling towards a rooftop. The White Dragon Emperor landed on his feet, kneeling down on his right knee before he stood up completely and faced the Blue Angel imposter in front of him. The imposter was smirking at White Dragon Mask in front of her. "You came, White Dragon Mask". The Blue Angel imposter said in a pleased tone, making the White Dragon Emperor narrow his eyes at her.
Azure was scanning the 'Blue Angel' standing a few feet away from his partner and find something surprising. "Just as suspected, she's not the real Blue Angel. But 'she' isn't a Knight of Hanoi either". The White Dragon Ignis told his partner, getting him to narrow his eyes even more at the imposter in front of him. "Who are you?" White Dragon Mask questioned the imposter in front of him, making 'Blue Angel' give out a chuckle.
"I admit that your disguise is top notch, but the vibe you're giving off is different from the real Blue Angel. You're not the girl I Dueled yesterday". The White Dragon Emperor told the imposter how he knew 'she' wasn't the real Blue Angel. "Wow. What gave it away?" 'Blue Angel' asked in an unsurprised tone as she shrugged her arms, before she gave a suspicious look towards the 17-year-old male.
"And I thought I nailed these pigtails". The imposter continued as she closed her eyes in fake disappointment with her right hand's index finger on her forehead. "It took forever". 'Blue Angel' added, before she opened her eyes with a smirk as a rose appeared in her right hand and she took hold of it. "Well, no matter. I didn't come to do impressions. Here's a little gift for showing up". The imposter finished with a smile as she threw the rose towards White Dragon Mask.
Both White Dragon Mask and Azure watched as the rose fell to the ground in front of them, before it began glowing, making the two partners widen their eyes in surprise. The glow expended into a circle around White Dragon Mask, before somekind of gravity change forced him to stand on his knees. "What?!" Azure shouted in shock at this unexpected development. "I can't move!" White Dragon Mask exclaimed as the circle grew bigger over the city, before some buildings began moving. "Partner, this is a really bad sign!" Azure cried to his partner as the avatars online disappeared and some nearby buildings changed into some sharp rocks. The building began to sink down into the ground with a church coming out nearby.
The circle that White Dragon Mask and Azure were on formed into some kind of energy that wrapped around the White Dragon Emperor's body, trapping and holding him up from the ground. "Shock! The whole area was a trap from the beginning!" Azure exclaimed in shock at seeing the trap. "Whoever made this trap means business!" The White Dragon Ignis added as White Dragon Mask glared at the fake smirking 'Blue Angel'.
"Maybe I'm no actress, but I'm a pretty good tracker. I caught you when no one else could". The imposter said as 'she' lifted her right hand and snapped her fingers. The energy around White Dragon Mask briefly changed colors for a moment, the building began to shrink and form around the two. The energy around White Dragon Mask grew some sort of energy wings, before it dragged the White Dragon Emperor down into the building.
The energy took White Dragon Mask to the church and erupted out of the ground inside, still holding its captive hostage, only now taking a rather dark demonic form. White Dragon Mask gritted his teeth as he looked down at the demonic hand holding him up, before he looked forward and saw the real Blue Angel, lying down on a sort of bed, unconscious. "That's the real Blue Angel!" Azure called out in surprise at seeing the real idol of LINK VRAINS here. White Dragon Mask was silent as he looked at Blue Angel's unconscious form, before his attention shifted when the imposter appeared besides the real Blue Angel's bed.
"Don't take it personally. This is all just part of the job". The imposter said to the captive masked Duelist, who just glared at 'her'. "Oh yeah? It that's the case, you must be working for someone, right?" White Dragon Mask questioned the fake 'Blue Angel', who just kept smirking before her form began to change. "Yeah, and I'm pretty good at what I do. The name's Ghost Gal. I'd love to talk more, but you seem all tied up at the moment". The now named Ghost Gal introduced herself as her real was revealed, allowing White Dragon Mask and Azure to see what she really looked like.
She looked to be a young adult woman. She had fair skin, silver long hair, bangs and eyes. She wore a black mask that covered the lower half of her face, which was connected to her black short-sleeved undershirt. Her outfit is a one-piece outfit; a black and dark violet vest with a zipper and shorts with mauve lining, matching stockings and black and grey boots. She had a black belt; deck boxes and her gloves were shorter and had cuffs.
"Whoever you're working for, what do they want with me? And why go through the trouble of hiring you to catch me?" The White Dragon Emperor questioned the Bounty Hunter, his eyes narrowed and his voice in a sharp tone. "Why don't you ask him yourself". The silver haired female answered the masked Duelist, before she turned around as someone appeared next to Blue Angel.
It was Akira Zaizen, who was looking down at his step-sister in sadness, before he turned around to look at White Dragon Mask. 'Akira Zaizen, huh?' White Dragon Mask thought to himself with narrowed eyes, having a good idea what this was about now. "White Dragon Mask, my name is Zaizen". Akira introduced himself to the masked hero of LINK VRAINS. "I don't care who you are! What I care about is why you went through all this trouble to talk to me, so spill it!" The White Dragon Emperor replied to the older brother of Blue Angel, taking a moment to look up at the rooftop before looking back at Akira.
"Simply thought you desired to know my name. The name of the person who's going to end you. You really thought you could hurt my sister and walk free?" Akira told the masked Duelist with narrowed eyes and a harsh tone, making White Dragon Mask give out a growl like that of a dragon at the adult man. "I wasn't the one who did this to Blue Angel". The White Dragon Emperor told the older male, a little ticked off with how Akira blamed him for what happened to Blue Angel.
"I don't think that's gonna convince him". Azure told his partner, turning to look up at the captive 17-year-old male. "You were the one who put her to sleep in your Duel. So you must know how to wake her. Tell me how, White Dragon Mask. And tell me now!" Akira demanded, turning to look at his unconscious step-sister. "I'm not responsible for this. It was the Knights of Hanoi who did this to Blue Angel". The masked Duelist told the adult man, getting his attention as he stomped up towards the captive teenager. "Stop lying! My sister would never work with the Hanoi! And I mean never!" Akira exclaimed as he swiped his right hand out to the side.
"I never said she was working for the Hanoi. She was tricked by them to Duel me in hopes of capturing Azure. And when she played that Dark Angel card, she was infected with a virus. Without a cure, she'll stay like that for who knows how long. I'm not the enemy here". White Dragon Mask told the Security Manager of SOL Technologies, but Akira didn't look convinced as he was glaring at the masked Duelist. "Do you really expect me to believe those lies? You'll tell me what you did to my sister, or I'll tear you limb from limb!" The adult man exclaimed with a glare on his face, making White Dragon Mask narrow his eyes at him.
"Well then, you're just wasting your time". The White Dragon Emperor stated, seeing that Akira was too blinded by anger to actually believe him. "Be quiet! What I do is my decision! If you won't tell me what I want willingly, I'll force you!" Akira cried out as he held out his right hand as it glowed purple with a mark appearing around it. Akira formed his hand into a fist, controlling the demonic hand to squeeze White Dragon Mask as tightly as possible. However, White Dragon Mask didn't scream or grunt in pain, he just stared at Akira like nothing was happen. "Tell me now! Give me the cure!" Akira demanded from White Dragon Mask, looking up at him in anger while Ghost Gal was looking at the trapped masked Duelist in surprise.
"You bastard! I can understand your anger, but you have some nerve to try to hurt my partner!" Azure exclaimed with his eye narrowed dangerously at Akira, his anger beginning to rise at seeing how he was attempting to torment his partner. "If you want your master to survive, give me what I want". The Security Manager of SOL Technologies told Azure, getting the White Dragon Ignis to growl at him. "He's not my master, he's my partner!" The White Dragon Ignis angrily corrected the 26-year-old man.
"All this suffering can end now! I can make it much worse!" Akira exclaimed as he swiped his right arm to the side, making White Dragon Mask chuckle as he gave the older male a smirk. "Suffering? That's funny because I wouldn't call this 'suffering'. I'd call it a nice massage". The 17-year-old teenager stated, making Akira and Ghost Gal slightly widen their eyes at how White Dragon Mask was mocking his torment. Azure looked up at his partner for a moment, before he looked back at Akira and chuckled at him. "Hear that? Your so called 'torment' isn't that big of a deal". The White Dragon Ignis said in an amused tone at how he partner just made fun of his torment.
This got Akira even angrier than before at what White Dragon Mask and Azure said. "You're asking for it!" Akira cried out as he tightened his right fist, making the demonic hand squeeze White Dragon Mask even more than before, but he still wasn't screaming. Ghost Gal looked on in surprise at how calm White Dragon Mask was even as he was being squeezed even more. 'What is he?' Ghost Girl thought to herself, thinking that no human can withstand this much pain for so long.

Suddenly, the rooftop above everyone shattered, getting White Dragon Mask, Azure, Akira and Ghost Gal to look up in surprise as rubble began to fall from the ground. A shadowy creature came out of nowhere and came down towards the demonic hand and sliced something down on the front of it, causing it to shatter and free White Dragon Mask, much to everyone's surprise.
White Dragon Mask landed on his feet and turned around to see what freed him, only to widen his eyes in shock to see that the shadowy monster was actually Lunalight Cat Dancer, who was giving off her usual smirk. The Fusion Monster then disappeared, before someone appeared out of nowhere and landed between White Dragon Mask, Akira and Ghost Gal on her left knee and her hands out to the side, getting everyone to look at the new arrival.
It was a 16-year-old alabaster skin girl. She had a purple fan shape headpiece, a yellow hair tie holding her indigo hair in half a pony tail with the rest lose down to her shoulders. On her neck was a half gold collar with a separation at the middle, a moon shaped upside down pendant hanging over a lilac strapless crop top with three tiny gold discs on the top. Over the top crop top and under the bustline, she wore a teal ribbon like harness that draped all along her top and was attached to the waist line of her hot pants. On the side of her hot pants she had two large teal bows that had two long side panels that reached the rings around her legs.
She wore purple toeless thigh high stockings with a gold crescent shaped buckle on the front of her ankles. Over her shorts is a sky blue overskirt with a long train that tied up around her waist and had two bows on each side. On her belly button, she wore a gold crescent shaped ring. She had two indigo tails coming out of her shorts.
She had over the elbow long dark purple fingerless gloves that came to a peak with an elastic around the middle finger with green oval disc shape and gold edged trim around at the top. On the front of her gloves was a gold crescent moonlight disc.
Attached to the top of her gloves were two teal bows that had long ribbon like fabric billowing out and looped through to gold flat dislike bracelets around her wrists. Finally, she had an indigo eye cat mask with purple polarized lens covering her eyes. On her left forearm was a kite shaped purple Duel Disk.
The new arrival rose up from the ground and gave off a confident smirk. "Sorry to crash your little party, but I don't appreciate someone tormenting my boyfriend". The female told Akira as her smirk changed into a frown directed at the 26-year-old male, making White Dragon Mask widen his eyes as he recognized her voice.
'Celina!' The White Dragon Emperor thought to himself in joy as he grew a massive, happy smile on his face at seeing his girlfriend again, having thought he'd never see her again. "Who are you!?" Akira shouted out at the 16-year-old female in an enraged tone at her interfering with his interrogation. The 16-year-old girl gave out a smirk as she twirled around on her right foot with her left leg up, before she gave a wink. "The name's Lunalight Dancer, dancer of the moon". The now named Lunalight Dancer introduced herself with a wide smile. "And she's not alone!" A female voice called out, getting everyone to widen their eyes in surprise.
Lunalight Dancer gave another wink as she held up her left arm, holding up her Duel Disk. Suddenly, an eye just like Azure, Ai and Raven appeared on her Duel Disk's screen. It was a light blue cat like eye with somekind of white claw marks at the side. "Dancing through the night with Lunalight Dancer is the Cat Ignis herself, Carla!" The now revealed Cat Ignis, Carla introduced herself, making Azure widen his eye in joy at seeing her, while everyone else widened their eyes in surprise.
"Carla!" The White Dragon Ignis called out in relief to see the Cat Ignis, getting Carla's attention as Lunalight Dancer turned her arm around for Carla to see Azure. At first, Carla looked relieved to see Azure, before she narrowed her eye in an annoyed way. "Once again, I had to save your hide because you acted without thinking!" The Cat Ignis scolded the White Dragon Ignis, making Azure wince at how loud she was.
"It's not my fault, I swear!" Azure exclaimed, trying to defend himself, but Carla didn't look convinced. Lunalight Dancer held her left hand up sideways and looked at her partner with a smirk. "Save your lover's squabble for later, you two. We still got business to take care of". The masked Duelist told the two Ignis, before she looked up at Akira and Ghost Gal, with the Security Manager of SOL still looking enraged.
"How dare you interfere!" Akira exclaimed with narrowed eyes and an angered tone, making Lunalight Dancer narrow her eyes at him. "Hold your tongue, pal! You're in no position to threaten either me, or my boyfriend". Lunalight Dancer told the Security Manager of SOL, getting Ghost Gal and Akira to frown in confusion at her words. Before Ghost Gal had the chance to question the 16-year-old female what she meant, two different figures landed behind her and Akira, making them widen their eyes in surprise.
Before the two could have a chance to react, something pulled Ghost Gal back, before sharp claws were threateningly held close to her neck. Like with Ghost Gal, something pulled Akira back, before a sword was threateningly held close to his neck as well.
Both adults had wide eyes at the unexpected development, before they looked up at who was holding them captive now. It was Lunalight Panther Dancer holding Ghost Gal captive, while Lunalught Leo Dancer was the one who had Akira with both Fusion Monsters glaring down at them. "Say hello to Lunalight Panther Dancer and Lunalight Leo Dancer". The female masked Duelist told the two adults, getting Ghost Gal and Akira to look back at her.
"How are your Duel Monsters materialized outside of a Duel?" Ghost Gal questioned Lunalight Dancer with a sharp tone, but she was impressed with how she both saved White Dragon Mask and took them captive. "With a little help from my partner". The female masked answered as she held up her left arm, allowing Akira and Ghost Gal to see Carla's smug look. "I did a bit of enhancing with Lunalight Dancer's Duel Disk, allowing her to Summon her monsters outside of a Duel. And trust me when I say this; you don't want to test the theory out". The Cat Ignis told the two adults, making Akira grit his teeth in anger at how he was outsmarted.

White Dragon Mask and Azure watched the events with wide eyes, honestly impressed with Lunalight Dancer and Carla and how they turned the table. "I have to say, I'm impressed". The White Dragon Ignis stated with an impressed look on his face, getting the 17-year-old male to nod in agreement. "So am I". White Dragon Mask said with a surprised look, before he shook his head and gave out a loud whistle.
Barely 2 seconds later, Playmaker and Purple Night came out of nowhere and landed next to White Dragon Mask, getting Ghost Gal and Akira to widen their eyes in surprise. "Playmaker…" The Security Manager of SOL said as he narrowed his eyes at the red, yellow and pink haired male, who narrowed his eyes back at him. "So that's Purple Night, huh? Gotta say, I love the feathers". The female Bounty Hunter said with a carefree look, not bothered by Panther Dancer's claws dangerously close to her neck.
"Thank you for the compliment, but that's not gonna get you off the hook!" The purple masked Duelist told Ghost Gal with a sharp tone, before she turned around and looked at Lunalight Dancer with a happy smile, one that the indigo masked Duelist returned.
Purple Night ran towards Lunalight Dancer, before she wrapped her arms around the indigo haired female in a tight hug. "I've missed you, sister". The dark purple haired female said in happiness, making Lunalight Dancer chuckle as she wrapped her arms around Purple Night's back. "The feeling's mutual, sister". The indigo haired female replied to her sister, closing her eyes in joy from seeing Purple Night again.
While the two girls had their reunion, Raven and Carla had their own reunion. "Thank goodness you're safe, Carla. I was so worried". The Bird Ignis said in a relieved tone, beyond relieved that her sister-in-arms was safe. Carla chuckled at Raven's words, but she looked relieved as well. "Did you really think those 'knights' would really capture me? Those wannabes couldn't even catch a normal cat!" The Cat Ignis laughed out in a happy voice, getting the Bird Ignis to laugh a bit herself.
Playmaker walked over to White Dragon Mask's side, watching Lunalight Dancer and Purple Night with wide eyes. "Who's that?" Playmaker questioned his comrade in a surprised tone, his eyes locked on the two females, mostly on Lunalight Dancer. "Her name's Celina. She's a friend of ours back in our world". White Dragon Mask answered the younger male, whispering so that Akira and Ghost Gal wouldn't hear him.
"Another person from your world? But how is she here?" The red, yellow and pink haired male questioned with wide eyes at learning that Lunalight Dancer was actually another person from his comrade's world. "It's thanks to Carla". Azure answered Playmaker, getting both males to look down at the White Dragon Ignis as White Dragon Mask held up his left arm so that they could look at his partner.
"Last time I saw Carla, I gave her a bit little bit of data of the program I used to bring you, Purple Night and Saya here. She must have used it to summon your friend here and has partnered up with her". Azure explained to his partner and Playmaker, telling them how he thinks Lunalight Dancer was here in this world. Both White Dragon Mask and Playmaker looked at each other for a moment, before they looked back at Azure. "Maybe you could be right. We'll have to ask Celina and Carla later". White Dragon Mask said to his partner, thinking that they should hear from the two on how Lunalight Dancer was here in this world.
Azure moved his eyes up and down at his partner as if he was nodding to him, before he looked over to Ai, who was being unusually quiet. "What's up with you, Ai? It's not like you to be quiet". The White Dragon Ignis said to his friend, moving his eye to look at Playmaker's Duel Disk where Ai was.
"Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that we've found our friend. I'm just not happy that it had to be the killjoy". The Dark Ignis told his friend, moving his eye to look at Azure, getting him to look amused. "Oh, that's right. Out of everyone, Carla was the one who rained on your parade a lot and kept a close eye in case you were up to something". The White Dragon Ignis said in an amused tone, getting Ai to wince as he once remembered getting pounded by Carla and it hurt.
After a few moments, Purple Night and Lunalight Dancer stopped hugging each other with the Lyrilusc Duelist stepping away from the Lunalight Duelist, before she looked over at White Dragon Mask and Playmaker, giving the two a smile. White Dragon Mask returned the smile, while Playmaker's face remained neutral.
The White Dragon Emperor then turned his attention back to Akira and Ghost Gal, who were still being held captive by Lunalight Panther Dancer and Lunalight Leo Dancer. "Akira Zaizen, you underestimated me!" White Dragon Mask explained with narrowed eyes and a sharp tone as he pointed at SOL Technologies' Security Manager with his right claw's index finger, getting the 26-year-old's attention as he looked at the younger male.
"You thought I was alone and that no one would have my back, but you were wrong. I have friends with me, who have my back, just like how I have theirs!" The 16-Year-old finished, making Lunalight Dancer and Purple Night smile at him. Playmaker on the other hand, looked away with an uncertain look, as if he was uncertain if he and his new comrades were really friends.
White Dragon Mask lowered his right hand, but kept his eyes narrowed at Akira. Lunalight Dancer then walked up besides White Dragon Mask and glared at Akira and Ghost Gal. "I may not know you two very well, but you've already made to the top of my kill list the moment you tried to torture White Dragon Mask. I'm very tempted to just like my monsters deal with you two right now, but I know my friend wouldn't want that". The Lunalight Duelist told the two as she soften her gaze, but still had a sharp look in her eyes.
White Dragon Mask and Purple Night smiled at Lunalight Dancer, proud of her for showing mercy to the two despite what Akira did not too long ago. "But don't think for a second that I'm letting you two off the hook. Make one wrong move and you two are in for a world of pain". The 16-year-old female told the two adults, lifting her head up to look up at her two Fusion Monsters and gave them a nod.
Both White Dragon Mask and Purple Night grew nervous smiles at Lunalight Dancer's words, while Playmaker just blinked a bit. Lunalight Dancer then turned her attention to White Dragon Mask, before she wrapped her arms around him and gave him a hug, one that the 17-year-old male returned with a smile. "I've missed you". The Lunalight Duelist told her boyfriend, making him smile as he pat her back. "The feeling's mutual". The White Dragon Emperor replied to his girlfriend as Lunalight Dancer broke the hug and looked up at his face.
"I knew you'd be alright". Azure said to Carla in a soft tone, getting her to soften her gaze at his words. "I'm flattered that you have that much confidence in me. And I'm glad to see both you and Raven safe and sound". The Cat Ignis replied to the White Dragon Ignis, her voice soft and happy. The two Ignis wished that they were in their original forms so that they could wrap their arms around each other, but unfortunately, they couldn't.
Purple Night smiled as she watched White Dragon Mask, while Raven looked happy for Azure and Carla. The 16-year-old girl then walked over to Playmaker's right side and leaned a bit to him. "One thing you need to know about Celina is that she doesn't play around. She's hard core and means what she says, no joking in mind". Purple Night told her comrade as she leaned away from the 16-year-old male, getting him to raise an eyebrow at her.
"It's the same for Carla. She doesn't really joke around and when she says something, she means it. Once time, she threatened Ai to stop messing around with her, but he didn't listen and she pounded him to the ground faster than you can say 'uncle'. Hehe". Raven giggled with an amused tone, making Ai wince as he could remember Carla beating the crap out of him.
White Dragon Mask gave a nervous chuckle, having heard what Purple Night said while Lunalight Dancer gave a small chuckle. Azure did the same as he heard what Raven said, remembering that day well as he was there when Carla gave Ai a pounding. The Cat Ignis didn't look annoyed, in fact she looked pleased as she remembered pounding Ai whenever he annoyed her.
Suddenly, White Dragon Mask's nervous expression changed to a complete serious one as he turned around to look at the unconscious Blue Angel lying down on the bed. After a moment of staring, White Dragon Mask began walking up Blue Angel, passing through both Akira and Ghost Gal. SOL Technologies gritted his teeth as he looked at White Dragon Mask and saw him walking towards his sister.
"Don't touch her!" Akira exclaimed, before he flinched as Leo Dancer pressed her blade against his neck and White Dragon Mask gave him a chilling glare, colder than sub-zero ice. "Like Lunalight Dancer said, you're in no position to make demands". White Dragon Mask said in a tone that made Akira froze from the coldness in his voice.
Seeing the older male silent, White Dragon Mask continued walking towards Blue Angel before he stopped in front of her. The White Dragon Emperor looked down at the 16-year-old girl's unconscious face and his face fell. He lifted his right claw up, before he placed it over Blue Angel's left hand.
"I'm sorry that I let this happen to you Skye". White Dragon Emperor apologized to the unconscious girl with a sad tone, getting Akira to widen his eyes in surprise at his words; his rage lessening a bit upon seeing this act of kindness towards his sister. However, before he or anyone else could act, two bolts of lightning came down from the sky and struck down in the church.
The lightning bolts were so powerful that it created a powerful gale of wind that forced almost everyone to cover their eyes, while Lunalight Panther Dancer and Leo Dancer disappeared, freeing Ghost Gal and Akira. The only ones that hadn't covered their eyes were White Dragon Mask and Playmaker, who were looking at the bolts of lightning. "What's going on?" Ghost Gal questioned, using her arms to cover her eyes from the intense light.
After a moment, the lightning disappeared to reveal two figures kneeling down on the ground with sparks appearing around them. One was a man with dark crimson hair and red highlights. His ears were pierced with Egyptian-style earrings with a blue diamond and a gold bullet "token". He had a tan-colored visor giving him yellow featureless eyes, designed with a white casing and a diamond-shaped pattern of white dots with red centers, linked together by a white circle that surrounded a white dot in the center of his forehead that suggests the barrel of a gun. The visor of his mask was covered with a dark lens to protect him from bright lights.
The man was wearing a white jumpsuit with a black elongated "T" shape tracing to the bottom of his chest, red ovals overlaying black ovals on the sides of the torso, and a v-shaped line of green where a belt would be. He wore a white trench coat lined with green with golden lines patterning both the inside and the outside of the coat. The sleeves were green white shoulder-pads and red diagonal bands on the bicep, making it unclear whether or not they were part of the jumpsuit or the coat. He also had a small white mantle with a black line tracing around the middle, and a green ornament attached at the front on both sides of his neck and at the back by red gems. Finally, he had white-elbow length gloves with red diamond shapes on his forearm, and black boots with green heels and red patterns on the front that may be part of his jumpsuit. On his left arm was a golden and white new model Duel Disk.
The second figure looked almost identical to the first one with the only difference being the color of his outfit. Red replaced the white, yellow replaced green and black replaced the red. On his left forearm was a red and black new model Duel Disk.
White Dragon Mask, Playmaker, Purple Night, Lunalight Dancer, Azure, Ai, Raven and Carla all widened their eyes at seeing the two figures. "It's him!" Ai exclaimed with his eye wide at seeing the white suited man. "And he's not alone". Azure stated with his eye narrowed as he stared at the red suited man. The two men pulled themselves up to their feet and revealed their faces, revealing that the white suited man was the Knight of Hanoi's leader, Varis. "Varis!" Playmaker called out with narrowed eyes at seeing the leader of the Knights of Hanoi. "And he's got company". White Dragon Mask stated with narrowed eyes directed at the unknown red figure.
"Varis!" The female bounty hunter said with a sharp tone. "The leader of the Hanoi". Akira said with his eyes narrowed directed at Varis. "But who's that other guy?" Purple Night questioned as she looked at the red version of Varis, wondering who he was. "Some red rip off, I bet". Lunalight Dancer commented with narrowed eyes directed at the red colored version of Varis.
"Akira Zaizen, Ghost Gal, Purple Night and Lunalight Dancer, you all can leave now. Because you don't want me to force you to leave". Varis told the four mentioned Duelist, his eyes locked on Playmaker, who was staring at him with narrowed eyes. "Trust me when I say this; it's best you do what Varis said. The consequences for disobeying are quite… extreme". The red version of Varis commented as he turned around and looked at White Dragon Mask, who narrowed his eyes at him.
"I don't think so, Varis and whoever you are". Akira retaliated, his eyes narrowed and directed at the leader of the Knights of Hanoi. "I see". The leader of the Knights of Hanoi began, before he turned around to look at the Security Manager and held up his left fist. "Perhaps I need to give you a demonstration of my power". The Knight of Hanoi said to the Security Manager of SOL, making his red counterpart smirk as he held up his right hand. "Hope you don't mind if I show off". The red version of Varis said with a smirk on his face, eager to show off.
Both members of the Hanoi held up their other hands up to the sky, as if they were calling something down towards them. From LINK VRAINS' sky, two Data Storms came down from above and surrounded Varis and his red counterpart, as well as creating a powerful gales. The two Hanoi members laughed out as they swiped their hands out to the side, before thrusting them out, firing the Data Storms at Akira and Ghost Gal.
The two Data Storms wrecked the church even more than before, but didn't harm Akira or Ghost Gal as they covered their eyes with their arms. The winds from the Data Storms did make Blue Angel's hair slightly blow in the breeze, but she remained unconscious. White Dragon Mask was silent as he stood in front of Blue Angel's bed with narrowed eyes, while Azure was silent. Eventually, the Data Storms disappeared into the city of LINK VRAINS, leaving everyone unharmed in the church, but mostly surprised at what the two members of the Hanoi just did.
"Are you kidding? They can summon Data Storms at will?!" Ghost Gal exclaimed in surprised, having never expected something like this. "I can destroy LINK VRAINS and everything in it, including you". Varis told Akira with his eyes narrowed, his hands now hanging at his sides. "Lucky for you, you're not our objective here. Our goal here is to acquire all the Ignis gathered here". Varis' red counterpart told the Security Manager of SOL, before both he and Varis narrowed their eyes dangerously.
"And you think I'll just stand by and do nothing?" Akira questioned the two Knights of Hanoi standing a few feet away from him. "As much as I hate to agree with Mr. Hot Shot, I have to agree with him. You're not getting any of our friends!" Lunalight Dancer exclaimed as she and Purple Night held up their left arms in front of them, before they noticed Carla and Raven's concerned looks.
"Raven? What's wrong?" The purple haired girl asked in concern for her partner, getting Raven to look at Purple Night. "It's that man besides Varis. His name is Red Knight". The Bird Ignis told her partner, getting both Purple Night and Lunalight Dancer to frown in confusion. Despite being a bit of distance from them, Azure could still hear Raven and Carla's conversation with their partners and was wondering how they knew about this red version of Varis.
"Raven, Carla! How do you two know this 'Red Knight' person?!" The White Dragon Ignis questioned the two female Ignis, getting both Carla and Raven's attention as they looked at him. "Know him?! He's the one who reduced us to this!" Carla shouted out with her eye narrowed dangerously at Red Knight, who looked over his left shoulder and gave her a smug look.
What Carla said made Azure, Ai, White Dragon Mask, Playmaker, Purple Night and Lunalight Dancer widen their eyes in shock, before they looked over at Red Knight. "WHAT! He's the one who did this to you!" Azure questioned before he glared at Red Knight, who looked back at the White Dragon Ignis with the same smug look from before. "That's right. While Varis and the other members of the Knights of Hanoi were tracking down the Dark Ignis, it was my job to track down and eliminate any other Ignis. I successfully hunted down 5 Ignis in total, but they all managed to escape me. You were the only one I haven't hunted down yet, but that's about to change". Red Knight told Azure as he held up his right hand and held his five fingers up, making Azure, Carla and Raven narrow their eyes.
'Five Ignis? He's hunted down Carla and Raven, that must mean that the other 3 might be them. Hopefully, she's safe and sound'. The White Dragon Ignis thought to himself, hoping that someone important to him was safe. "That's enough Red Knight. You've had your fun". Varis told his comrade with a sharp tone, getting Red Knight's attention as he looked at his leader, before he bowed his head. "Whatever you say, Varis". The Hanoi member replied to his leader as he lifted his head and looked back at White Dragon Mask and Azure.
Varis then returned his attention to Akira. "About your question from before, that's exactly right. If you want to save Blue Angel, after all it was our card that infected her with the virus". The leader of the Knights of Hanoi told the Security Manager of SOL, making Akira widen his eyes in surprise. "It was?" Akira questioned in surprise, while White Dragon Mask, Playmaker, Purple Night and Lunalight Dancer narrowed their eyes.
"But I am in possession of an anti-virus that can revive her. If it's not too late, that is". Varis informed Akira, getting him to narrow his eyes at the leader of the Hanoi. "Why did you do this?" The 26-year-old man questioned Varis, wanting to know why he got his sister involved in all this.
What Akira said got Red Knight to chuckle, getting the 26-year-old's attention as he looked at the red version of Varis. "It's very simple; we needed someone to draw Playmaker and his little group's to the palm of our hands. But we couldn't use some random person we picked up from the streets; we needed someone who you could say was 'close' to the group. Blue Angel's challenge and White Dragon Mask accepting it two days ago, give it away that the two had a bit of a connection, so we gave her Dark Angel to use". Red Knight began as he looked up at the unconscious Blue Angel on her bed.
"Our plan could have ended two ways. One where Blue Angel won the Duel and Dark Angel could have teleported Azure to us. Unfortunately, she lost, but we planned for that outcome. And the results were fantastic. You acted rash and gift-wrapped White Dragon Mask for us. Unfortunately, we didn't expect the arrival of Lunalight Dancer. She tipped the scales by not only freeing White Dragon Mask but taking you two hostages. Honestly, if it wasn't for us, you'd still have two monsters ready to pounce on you. Despite the change in circumstances, everything still proceeded as plan". The red suited member of the Hanoi continued to explain the plan, making Akira growl at how he was played by the Knights of Hanoi.
"You used my sister and I to draw Playmaker, White Dragon Mask and Purple Night out? Give me the anti-virus!" The Security Manager demanded, taking a step forward towards Red Knight and Varis. "What makes you think we'll just hand it over because you demand it? I expected Akira Zaizan, the Security Manager of SOL Technologies to know that things don't work that way". The red suited member of the Knights of Hanoi replied to the Security Manager of SOL Technologies with a shrug, making Akira growl at him.
"Now everything is set. Varis has to challenge Playmaker to a duel, while I challenge White Dragon Mask. And you, Ghost Gal, Lunalight Dancer and Purple Night are to do nothing, but sit back and watch the show! If Playmaker and White Dragon Mask can defeat us both, we'll hand over the anti-virus to cure your sister, Blue Angel. But if we win… well, I'm sure you know what we'll take and she's gonna stay asleep for a long time!" Red Knight finished as he pointed his right hand's index finger at Akira, while Varis crossed his arms.
"That means… Playmaker and White Dragon Mask controls her fate? But I do not trust either of them". Akira told Red Knight and Varis, but they weren't bothered by his words. "You think you have a choice? You do not. You never did. You are not in control of this situation!" Varis told the Security Manager as he thrust his right hand out and pointed his right hand's index finger at Akira, making him grit his teeth in anger.
Everyone was silent as they waited for Akira's response. White Dragon Mask looked back at Blue Angel one more time, before he looked back at Akira. "Ah, Akira". Ghost Gal said in concern for her 'friend', knowing how difficult this was for him. After a few moments, Akira looked over his right shoulder to look at White Dragon Mask. "Do not make me regret this later". The Security Manager told the White Dragon Emperor, which the 17-year-old male nodded to him.
"He's at least willing to trust us, so that's a good sign". Azure commented from within White Dragon Mask's Duel Disk, seeing that Akira was willing to trust his partner to save his sister. Both Red Knight and Varis were smirking at their separate opponents. "Ha. We'll be waiting, Playmaker, White Dragon Mask". Varis told the two heroes of LINK VRAINS, before Data Storm winds surrounded both him and Red Knight, before they were lifted off the ground and into the air, leaving the church.
"You know you're allowed to say no to all this, right?" Ai questioned his partner, honestly preferring to stay out of danger than involved him in it. "Varis must answer for what he has done". Playmaker replied to the Dark Ignis, before he took off and left the church, leaving White Dragon Mask, Azure, Lunalight Dancer, Carla, Purple Night, Raven, Akira and Ghost Gal with everyone watching him. Azure turned his eye to look up at his partner. "What about you, White Dragon Mask? We know nothing about this Red Knight guy or what kind of cards he uses. We'd be fighting blind, while he probably knows a few of your tricks". Azure warned his partner, getting White Dragon Mask's attention as he lifted his left arm to look at his Ignis.
"What you say may be true, but that doesn't matter to me. I'm not afraid to fight the unknown; it just makes it even more exciting. Besides, I have a reason why I cannot lose to Red Knight". The White Dragon Emperor told his partner as he turned around and looked at Blue Angel, who was still unconscious.
Azure was silent for a few moments, before he chuckled. "Somehow, I knew that would be your answer. You're right; someone's life is depending on our victory. Let's go out and get some dragon justice". The White Dragon Ignis told his partner with a confident look, making the White Dragon Emperor smirk at him. "You read my mind". White Dragon Mask stated, before he looked up at Purple Night and Lunalight Dancer.
"Could you two keep watch over my duel with Red Knight and Playmaker's duel with Varis. There might be a chance more Knights of Hanoi will show up and try to outnumber us. Keep a look out in case they try anything". The White Dragon Emperor told his two mates, forming a countermeasure in case more Knights of Hanoi showed up.
Both Lunalight Dancer and Purple Night nodded to their boyfriend, understanding his plan. "All right, we'll keep an eye out if more of those wannabe knights make a move". The Lunalight Duelist told her mate with a smirk on her face, full of energy that's ready to be released. Purple Night was silent, but she gave White Dragon Mask a nod, getting him to smile.
The White Dragon Mask then turned right and began running out of the church. "White Dragon Mask!" Akira called out to the 17-year-old boy, getting him to stop, but he didn't turn around to face him. "I…I don't know what to say. You and Playmaker are going to duel Red Knight and Varis to save my sister. Even after everything that I've put you through, refusing to believe anything that you said. But you will still fight to help me when you really should despise me". The Security Manager of SOL Technologies told the masked Duelist, who was silent as he listened to Akira.
"…I don't despise you". The 17-year-old began, making Akira widen his eyes in surprise at his words. "You did what any older brother would have done for their little sister. If our roles were reversed, I would have done the same". The White Dragon Emperor continued as he looked over his left shoulder to look at Akira. "The Knights of Hanoi are the ones responsible for this, and they're gonna pay". White Dragon Mask finished with a glare, before he looked forward and took off again.
White Dragon Mask then jumped into the air, before he landed on his Duel Board that appeared below him. The 16-year-old boy took off in a different direction that Playmaker took, going after Red Knight. "Get ready for one heck of a duel". Azure told his partner, getting the 16-year-old boy to smirk. "I was born ready!" White Dragon Mask stated with a smirk as he increased his Duel Board's speed and went even faster.
Back at the church, Akira and Ghost Gal watched White Dragon Mask flew away, while Purple Night and Lunalight Dancer were having a discussion. "I'll keep an eye on Playmaker; you keep an eye on White Dragon Mask. Make sure so keep an eye out in case anyone tries anything". The Lunalight Duelist told her sister with her arms crossed, getting the purple haired girl to nod at her. "Okay, but stay frosty out there". The purple haired girl told her sister, making the indigo haired girl chuckle.
The two girls then leaped into the air and landed on their Duel Boards that appeared below them, before they both shot out and chased after their teammates. Lunalight Dancer's Duel Board was indigo, had wing blades the shape of a crescent moon and a moon design on the top. The two females Ignis were silent, but they both had determine filled eyes, ready for whatever comes their way and to fight besides their partners.
Back with White Dragon Mask, he had just spotted Red Knight not too far away from him, riding on a red Duel Board. "There he is!" Azure called out, having spotted Red Knight right when his partner did. The red suited member of the Hanoi looked over his right shoulder and smirked at seeing White Dragon Mask. "About time you showed up!" Red Knight exclaimed with a smirk, before he slowed his pace so that he was riding his Duel Board right besides White Dragon Mask.
"Let's go over the stakes of this duel, one more time! If I win, Azure is all mine! If you win, you get the anti-virus". Red Knight told the White Dragon Emperor, making the 16-year-old male glare at him. "I know that, but I'm not gonna lose, especially since Skye's life hangs on the line. Playmaker and I are gonna win this thing against both you and Varis. Then, I'll make you cough up the anti-virus!" White Dragon Mask replied to the member of the Hanoi with a determined filled voice, ready to duel and defeat Red Knight.
"Looks like someone's confident that he'll win. We'll just have to see about that. But spoiler alert, I'm the one that's going to win, and the same goes for Varis. We'll defeat both you and Playmaker, then we'll take your AIs and then we'll go after your two friends. But before that, tell me this. Why did you join Playmaker in his battle against us and why do you have that Ignis?" Red Knight questioned his opponent, wanting to hear from White Dragon Mask why he became Playmaker's ally and has an Ignis.
White Dragon Mask was silent for a few moments before he spoke. "I became Playmaker's ally to help him uncover the secrets of his past of what you Knights of Hanoi did to him. Azure asked for my help to defeat you Knights of Hanoi and save his kind, and that's what I'm going to do. For both him and Playmaker!" The White Dragon Emperor told Red Knight why he was Playmaker's ally and why Azure was still besides him.
Azure looked pleased with his partner's words, while Red Knight was frowning. "I see. Just as I thought, you have no idea just what that Ignis is". Red Knight said with a frown, getting Azure to turn his attention to him and narrow his eyes. "And you do?" The White Dragon Ignis questioned the member of the Knight, getting him to chuckle.
"You could say that I do, or do not. It's up to you". Red Knight replied to the White Dragon Ignis, making both Azure and White Dragon Mask frown. "And just what exactly is that suppose to mean?" White Dragon Mask questioned with a frown on his face, wondering just what Red Knight meant by that. "That's up to you to decide. But right now, let's just duel!" The member of the Hanoi replied as he held up his left arm.
White Dragon Mask gritted his teeth, before he held up his left arm as his Duel Disk activated its blade. The White Dragon Emperor then swiped his left arm out to the side, before holding it in front of him. "Fine then, but get ready for a butt whooping!" White Dragon Mask exclaimed with narrowed eyes, looking down at his deck as it shuffled.
"Ha! We'll see who gets the butt whooping here! Just like those bed time stories, the knight shall slay the dragon!" Red Knight laughed out with a confident grin, making Azure's frown deepen. "Not this time! This time, the dragon will slay the knight! Shock him good, White Dragon Mask!" Azure told his partner as he turned his eye to look up at him, which the 16-year-old nodded to his partner.
"And after we're done with you, I'll take back the data you stole from my friends!" The White Dragon Ignis added, getting Red Knight's attention as he looked back at the two on his left side. "So, you want the data I took from your friends, huh? Well, go ahead and try it! Spoiler, I don't have your data so even if my some miracle you guys defeat me, you won't be able to revert back to your normal form". Red Knight told the White Dragon Ignis, thinking that might weaken his resolve.
Unfortunately for him, his plan didn't work as Azure's gaze still showed determination. "So what?! All that matters is saving Blue Angel and getting my friends' data back!" Azure called out with a determined filled tone, his resolve still strong as ever. Red Knight frowned at Azure's words, before his Duel Board increased its speed. He was now riding his Duel Board a little bit in front of White Dragon Mask.
The 16-year-old boy kept his eyes on Red Knight's back, but then he thought about something. Something that Red Knight could tell him, considering he seemed close to Varis. "Before we begin this Duel, I want to ask you something. What is your reason for wanting to destroy Azure and the other Ignis? What's your endgame?" The White Dragon Emperor questioned Red Knight, his eyes narrowed and his tone sharp.
Azure looked at his partner for a moment, before he looked back at Red Knight. The teenage male was silent for a few moments, before he spoke. "That Ignis you possess and every other one are a disease. AIs and anything similar cannot be trusted. In fact, Varis and I don't even have one in our Duel Disks! This whole network world is nothing, but a fantasy that will lead to the world's destruction and mankind will be no more!" Red Knight began to explain to the two partners, making White Dragon Mask narrow his eyes.
'I'd like to see if he still thinks that if he ever saw the Demon Overlord. Bet he wouldn't sound so sure of it'. White Dragon Mask thought to himself, thinking back to his greatest enemy that almost destroyed the world back 2 years ago. "Our mission is to stop it all! People have to wake up before time runs out". The teenage male continued, before he shot around and pointed at White Dragon Mask with his right hand's index finger.
"I will destroy all the Ignis and save the world from them! And if that means destroying you and your friends, so be it!" Red Knight exclaimed with a sharp tone, but White Dragon Mask didn't even flinch at his words. "But I can promise you that this last duel you'll have will be one to remember!" Red Knight shouted out as he turned around and held his right hand out.
Right before their eyes, the city around them changed to a more volcanic field. The ground split apart to reveal lava underneath, causing the streets to be filled with lava and causing a few things to explode, creating smoke that filled the air. Both White Dragon Mask and Azure had wide eyes at seeing this, having never thought Red Knight had the ability to do this.
Speaking of the member of the Hanoi, he was laughing out with a grin on his face. "Prepare yourself White Dragon Mask, for the duel of your life! Hahaha!" Red Knight laughed out, getting White Dragon Mask and Azure's attention as they glared at him. "Bring it on!" The White Dragon Emperor exclaimed with narrowed eyes, ready for whatever his opponent throws at him.
"Keep on guard and stay focus on this guy! Anything else is secondary!" Azure told his partner with his eyes narrowed, which the 17-year-old male nodded to his partner without looking at him, his eyes focused on Red Knight. "Let's Speed Duel!" White Dragon Mask and Red Knight shouted as the Speed Duel began. White Dragon Mask drew the top four cards of his Duel Disk and held them with his left hand.

"I'll take the first move!" Red Knight said as four cards appeared in front of him, before they disappeared. "I activate the Continuous Spell card, Red Dragon Knight Statues!" Red Knight said as a Spell card appeared in front of him. The card's image showed two red colored dragon shaped statutes.

White Dragon Mask widened his eyes in surprise at hearing what the card was called. "Dragon Knight!?" The 16-year-old male exclaimed in shock that Red Knight uses cards that he has never heard of before. "I pay 500 Life Points to summon two Dragon Knight Statue tokens!" Red Knight called out as two red colored dragon shaped statues appeared in front of him.

"I now release my two tokens to Advance Summon my Cracking Dragon!" Red Knight said as his two tokens turned into red sparkles. The sparkles then merged together to create a portal with a Cracking Dragon coming out, releasing a powerful roar.

"There it is". Azure stated with his eye narrowed at the mechanical dragon as it flew besides Red Knight. "They must really love that thing". The White Dragon Emperor commented with narrowed eyes, having been expecting something else than this. "I think I'll end my turn here. Show me what the White Dragons can do!" Red Knight taunted his opponent, making the White Dragon Emperor slightly growl at him.

"My turn!" White Dragon Mask called out as he drawled his card from his deck in a dramatic fashion with his right hand, before he added to his hand. "Remember, Cracking Dragon is powerful! You Summon a monster that's powerful enough and you'll get hit with effect damage!" Azure reminded his partner about Cracking Dragon's power, getting White Dragon Mask to look at his partner, before he nodded and looked back at Red Knight.
"I play your Continuous Spell card! I pay 500 Life Points to Summon two Red Dragon Knight Statue tokens!" White Dragon Mask called out as two red colored dragon shaped statutes appeared in front of him.

White Dragon Mask then looked at the cards in his hand and smirked at seeing one of them. 'This will work nicely against Cracking Dragon's power'. The 16-year-old boy thought to himself with a smirk on his face as he picked one of his cards up with his right claw, before he held the card out.
"Next up, I'm calling out White Dragon – Infernity Gunman!" The White Dragon Emperor called out as he placed the card on his Duel Disk's blade. A white portal appeared besides him, before a new monster came out. It was a humanoid pale man with white spiky hair and blue eyes, but he wasn't exactly human. He had white wings, claws and a tail like that of a dragon, even scales on his skin. The man was only wearing long black track pants, was barefooted, revealing his talon like feet and a white trench coat.

"Cracking Dragon's effect activates! Since you Summon exactly one monster, you take 200 points of damage equal to its Level and you lose Life Points equal to the points you lost!" Red Knight called out as Cracking Dragon turned around, before the green gems on its body and it roared, creating a small force of wind at White Dragon Mask and Infernity Gunman.

White Dragon Mask Life Points: 3500 – 100 = 3400.
"Infernity Gunman didn't have much points, so we didn't lose too much Life Points. Still, Cracking Dragon can continue to use its ability whenever you Summon exactly one monster, so be careful". The White Dragon Ignis told the White Dragon Emperor with his eye narrowed, reminding his partner of Cracking Dragon's ability.
White Dragon Mask looked down at his partner and nodded. "Got it, but I've got a countermeasure already planned". White Dragon Mask told his partner as he looked at Infernity Gunman, getting Azure to look at the monster, before he widened his eye in realization.
"I see now. Very clever". The White Dragon Ignis stated, getting the 16-year-old boy to smile at his partner, before he raised his right hand into the sky. "Here goes! I create the Circuit that brings light to the darkness!" White Dragon Mask cried out as a cybernetic symbol appeared in front of his claw, before white lightning came out and stroked the sky, creating a link portal.
White Dragon Mask, Infernity Gunman and one of the Red Dragon Knight statue tokens all flew into the link portal, entering a white world. The White Dragon Emperor floated inside the white world as he looked down at the link portal. "Link Arrows authorized! I require two Dragon-Type monsters to Link Summon! I set White Dragon – Infernity Gunman and the Red Dragon Knight Statue token in the Link Arrows!" White Dragon Mask cried out as he swiped his right hand out to the side as Infernity Gunman and the Red Dragon Knight Statue token both flew town towards the link portal.
Once they were close enough, both Infernity Gunman and the Red Dragon Knight Statue token turned into red beams that entered the Bottom-Left and Bottom Link Arrows, causing them to start glowing, along with the link portal. "Link the Circuit! I Link Summon White Dragon – Mirror Summoner!" White Dragon Mask called out as his new monster began to form inside the white world.
It was a white oriental dragon with blue hair and seemed to have mirrors on the sides of its body. The spikes on its body were rather short, but very sharp. Finally, it had blue eyes. The new Link Monster released a roar as a link circle appeared around it with the Bottom and Bottom-Left arrows glowing red. The link circle disappeared as both White Dragon Mask and his new monster exited the white world and returned to LINK VRAINS.

"Mirror Summoner's special ability activates! When this card is successfully Link Summoned and points to no monsters, I'm allowed to Special Summon up to two Level 2 or below Dragon-Type monsters from my deck!" White Dragon Mask explained his Link Monster's effect as two cards slotted out of his Duel Disk and he took hold of them with his right claw's index and middle fingers, before he held them up.
"The monsters I chose are Omni Dragon Brotaur and White Dragon – Cracked Scale!" The White Dragon Emperor called out, before he placed the two cards on his Duel Disk's blade. Mirror Summoner gave out a roar, before two figures came out of the mirrors on his sides. One of them was Cracked Scale while the other one was a small white dragon with red eyes.

"He's filled up his field". Red Knight commented, taking a moment to look over his left shoulder to look at his opponent's four monsters. "You have all you need to Summon him!" Azure told his partner with a confident look, getting White Dragon Mask to give his Ignis partner a confident smirk back. "I'm gonna enjoy this! White lightning came out of his claw and stroked the sky, creating a link portal.
White Dragon Mask, White Dragon – Mirror Summoner, the Red Dragon Knight statue token and Omni Dragon Brotaur all flew into the link portal, entering a white world. The White Dragon Emperor floated inside the white world as he looked down at the link portal. "Link Arrows authorized! I require two Dragon-Type monsters to Link Summon! I set the Red Dragon Knight Statue token, White Dragon – Mirror Summoner and Omni Dragon Brotaur in the Link Arrows!" White Dragon Mask cried out as he swiped his right hand out to the side as the Red Dragon Knight Statue token, Mirror Summoner and Cracked Scale all flew town towards the link portal, but not before Mirror Summoner split into two.
Once they were close enough, the three monsters turned into red beams that entered the Top, Bottom, Left and Right Link Arrows, causing them to start glowing, along with the link portal. "Link the Circuit! I Link Summon White Dragon – Blue Link Dragon!" The White Dragon Emperor cried out to the heavens as his favorite Link Monster formed into the white world. Once he was fully formed, Blue Link Dragon released a powerful roar, before both he and his Duelist exited through the link portal and returned to LINK VRAINS.

Blue Link Dragon flew closely above his Duelist in a protective manner, getting White Dragon Mask and Azure to look up at the Link-4 monster with happy looks. "It never gets old seeing him in action". The White Dragon Emperor commented with a smile, always enjoying seeing his ace Link Monster in battle. "That's something we can agree on". Azure stated, looking at the first Link Monster that he and his partner acquired together.
Red Knight was also looking up at Blue Link Dragon with an impressed look on his face. "So, that's the famed White Dragon – Blue Link Dragon, huh? I must admit that it's impressive, but not impressive enough! Cracking Dragon still has more ATK Points!" The member of the Hanoi called out with a confident smirk on his face, one that White Dragon Mask returned.
"Not for long! First up, Blue Link Dragon's special ability activates! For every Dragon-Type monster he points to, he gains 500 ATK Points!" The White Dragon Emperor explained, before he looked to his right to look at Cracked Scale. "Blue Link points to Cracked Scale, therefore increasing his ATK Points to 3000!" Azure told Red Knight with his eye narrowed as a blue aura covered Blue Link Dragon.
White Dragon – Blue Link Dragon ATK Points: 2500 + 500 = 3000.
"It still isn't enough to destroy Cracking Dragon!" Red Knight stated, but White Dragon Mask just kept on smirking. "For the moment, but that's about to change! I activate Blue Link Dragon's second special ability!" The White Dragon Mask called out as he thrust his right claw out, before his deck started shuffling.
"Once a turn, Blue Link Dragon can select one monster you control, and then we can send one monster from our deck to the graveyard! And the best part, your monster loses ATK Points equal to the monster we sent to the graveyard!" Azure explained for his partner, getting Red Knight to widen his eyes in surprise.
After a second or two, White Dragon Mask's deck stopped shuffling and a card slotted out, which he took hold of it with his right claw's index and middle fingers. "The monster I send to the Graveyard is White Dragon – Shinning Seiyaryu!" White Dragon Mask revealed as he sent the card to the graveyard zone of his Duel Disk. A portal appeared next to him, before Shinning Seiyaryu came out of it and roared.

"Shinning Seiyaryu has 2500 ATK Points! Meaning your Cracking Dragon is about to get drained of its power!" The 16-year-old male called out as Shining Seiyaryu turned into pure white energy, before it flew into Blue Link Dragon. The Link Monster gave out a roar as the white energy shot out of his wings and wrapped around Cracking Dragon, binding the Machine-Type monster.
Cracking Dragon ATK Points: 3000 – 2500 = 500.
"This might be a problem". Red Knight stated, though he didn't look or sounded worried. "Now before I get to attacking, I'll activate the Spell card Dian Keto the Cure Master!" White Dragon Mask called out as he took a card with his right hand and slotted it into his Duel Disk. The Spell card appeared in front of the White Dragon Emperor, before it turned around and fire white sparkles at him. "This Spell increase my Life Points by 1000!" The 17-year-old boy explained his Spell's effect as his Life Points went up.
White Dragon Mask Life Points: 3400 + 1000 = 4400.
"Now Blue Link Dragon, attack Cracking Dragon!" White Dragon Mask commanded his ace Link Monster, thrusting his right claw out. Blue Link Dragon gave out a roar, before it began gathering energy in its mouth. After a few seconds, Blue Link Dragon fired a blast attack from his mouth at Cracking Dragon, causing the Machine-Type monster to explode upon impact. (3000 – 500 = 2500)
Red Knight Life Points: 3500 – 2500 = 1000.
The explosion created a smokescreen, but it didn't halt Red Knight as he rode his Duel Board past the smoke and continued on his face with White Dragon Mask, Blue Link Dragon and Cracked Scale following him. "Nice one! Just from that one attack, he's down to more than half his Life Points!" Azure praised his partner, proud of him for dealing that much damage from one attack.
White Dragon Mask smirked at his partner, before he looked back at Red Knight and saw him still calm, getting the 16-year-old boy to narrow his eyes. "He's not even showing any signs of panic. It's like he still has a plan in mind". The White Dragon Emperor said with a sharp tone, getting Azure to look up at the member of the Hanoi and saw that his partner was right. "He must still have something in mind". The White Dragon Ignis said as he narrowed his eye, getting the White Dragon Emperor to look back at his partner.
"We can't do anything at the moment. We'll have to wait until our next turn. Hopefully we'll survive until our next turn". White Dragon Mask told his partner, before he looked up at Red Knight's back. "I end my turn here!" The White Dragon Emperor declared his turn over.

"My turn now! I draw!" Red Knight called out as a red cybernetic circle appeared around his Duel Disk and a card appeared which he drew with his right hand. The card then disappeared, before 3 cards appeared in front of him. "I activate my Continues Spell card's effect again! I pay 500 Life Points to summon two Dragon Knight Statue tokens!" Red Knight called out as two red colored dragon shaped statues appeared in front of him.

"Now I Summon Red Dragon Knight – Grave Defiler!" Red Knight called out as a portal appeared and a monster came out of it. It was a humanoid dragon wearing red knight-like armor, even for its tail and wings. There were bits of black on the armor, going straight from the helmet down to the legs. The new monster gave out a cry as it flew besides its master.

"Now he's got 3 monsters". Azure pointed out, wondering what Red Knight could be planning. "He can Link Summon a Link-3 monster". The White Dragon Emperor pointed out with his eyes narrowed, making Red Knight smirk at his opponent. "That's where you're wrong". The Hanoi member told his opponent, getting White Dragon Mask to frown at him.
"Here goes, I create the Circuit that rid the world of poison!" Red Knight called out as he swiped his right hand into the air. A red magical symbol briefly appeared in front of his hand, before it disappeared and red lightning came out of his hand. The lightning stroke the sky, creating the link portal.
Red Knight and Grave Defiler both flew into the air into the link portal, entering a red world. Red Knight floated inside the red world, before he looked down at the link portal. "Link Arrows authorized! I require a Level 4 or below Red Dragon Knight to Link Summon! I set the Red Dragon Knight – Grave Defiler in the Link Arrows!" Red Knight called out with a grin on his face as he held out his right hand.
Grave Defiler gave out a roar, before he flew down towards the link portal. Once he was close enough, Grave Defiler turned into a red beam that entered the Bottom Link Arrow, causing it to glow bright red and the link portal to glow. "Link the Circuit! I Link Summon Red Dragon Knight – Sprit Returner!" Red Knight called out as his monster began to form itself.
The monster was fully formed, revealing what it was. It was a bright red female Dragonnet that had crimson almost see through armor all over it and crimson eyes. The new monster roared out as it and Red Knight exited the red world through the link portal and returned to LINK VRAINS.

"I don't like where this is going". The White Dragon Ignis stated with his eye narrowed, getting White Dragon Mask to nod in agreement. "I now activate Spirit Returner's special ability! Once a turn, I can Special Summon a mother from either of our graveyards to a zone she points to!" Red Knight explained his Link Monster's effect, making White Dragon Mask widen his eyes in surprise as he looked down at his Duel Disk.
"With that effect, he can Summon Mirror Summoner or Omi Dragon Brotaur from our graveyard!" The White Dragon Emperor pointed out, getting Azure's attention as he looked at his partner. Having heard his opponent, Red Knight gave out a laugh. "Don't sweat it; I don't need any of your monsters. I just need Red Dragon Knight – Grave Defiler!" The Hanoi member called out as Spirit Returner opened her mouth and a spirit came out. The spirit glowed red as it transformed into Grave Defiler, who gave out a roar.

Both White Dragon Mask and Azure narrow their eyes at seeing Grave Defiler return, knowing full well what that meant. "Now he has 4 monsters". The 16-year-old boy pointed out with his eyes narrowed, realizing what this now means. "He can now Link Summon a Link 4 monster if he wants to". The White Dragon Ignis stated, figuring out what Red Knight's endgame is.
"So, you've figured out my strategy, huh? Guess that's to be expected since you used a similar strategy. Guess I should get to it, but first I need to use my Skill". The Hanoi member said with a smirk on his face, getting the two partners to frown in confusion. "His Skill? What Skill could help him with his strategy?" White Dragon Mask questioned with a frown on his face, wondering just what Red Knight was up to.
Azure had his eye narrowed as he thought up many scenarios of any Skill that could benefit Red Knight's strategy. However, one scenario came to his mind and it made him widen his eye. "Don't tell me…! But he would need…!" Azure exclaimed in surprise, getting White Dragon Mask's attention as he looked at his partner, wondering why he looked so shocked.
"Seems like Azure's figured it out. The answer is yes! My Skill is the same Skill that your friend uses, Storm Access!" The Hanoi member revealed, making White Dragon Mask widen his eyes in surprise. "Storm Access!?" The White Dragon Emperor exclaimed in shock that his opponent was gonna use the same Skill his friend uses.
"He has everything he needs to use Storm Access. His Life Points are low enough for him to use that Skill. This is where things get tricky. Storm Access gives the caster a Link Monster that helps out at the exact situation they're in. Meaning he might get the monster he needs to turn this duel around". Azure explained to his partner about Storm Access, getting the 16-year-old male to grit his teeth.
Red Knight lifted his right hand up. The Data Storm winds began to grow more powerful and restless, before it began to flow towards Red Knight. "Not only could I use the Data Storm, I can make it so powerful that I'll be give a powerful Link 4 Monster for certain". Red Knight said with a grin as his right hand began glowing red, before he held it out.
The Data Storm in front of the two Duelists surged forth and began coming towards Red Knight. "This wave is too small, give me a bigger one!" The Hanoi member demanded as the Data Storm formed into a giant wave, heading towards Red Knight. "That's more like it! This is what I call a REAL Data Storm! The Data Storms that you and your friend Playmaker have experienced have got nothing on this one!" Red Knight exclaimed with a smirk on his face, making Azure narrow his eye at him.
"I'm tempted to tell him that White Data Storms are 5 times rougher than normal Data Storms, but I'll let him have his joy party". The White Dragon Ignis remarked, watching as the Data Storm wave absorbed Red Knight into it. Inside, the Hanoi member was having no trouble at all staying on his Duel Board. Outside, White Dragon Mask had a bit of difficulty staying on his Duel Board, but didn't have too much trouble. "This is gonna get rough". The White Dragon Emperor stated as he looked up and waited for his opponent.
Back inside the Data Storm, Red Knight smirked as he thrust his right hand out and began gathering energy. "I activate my Skill: Storm Access! I won't bother explaining what it does, considering your comrade uses it. I'll just cut to the chase and get my prize!" The Hanoi member called out as he held his right hand in front of him, before data began gathering in his hands.
Red Knight saw a shadow of a giant monster inside the Data Storm, making him smirk. "You'll do just fine!" The Hanoi member called out as he held his right hand out to where he saw the shadow of the monster he saw. Data gathered in Red Knight's hand, forming a glowing red card. Once the card was completed, Red Knight grabbed hold of the card and shot out of the Data Storm and into the air, getting both White Dragon Mask and Azure to look up at him.
"He got his new card". The White Dragon Ignis stated with his eye narrowed. "And I'm gonna use it!" Red Knight called out with a smirk on his face, having heard Azure. As Red Knight began to fall from the sky, the link portal appeared below him. "Time to end this!" The Hanoi member called out as he entered the link portal, entering a red world.
Red Knight floated inside the red world, looking down at the link portal. "Link Arrows authorized! The Summoning conditions require at least two Dragon-Type monsters! I set my Red Dragon Knight Statue Tokens, Red Dragon Knight – Grave Defiler and Spirit Returner!" The Hanoi member called out as the four monsters appeared besides him, before they all flew down towards the link portal.
Once they were close enough, the four monsters turned into red bright lights that stroke the Top, Left, Right and Bottom Link Arrows, causing them to start glowing red with the link portal glowing. "Link the Circuit!" Red Knight called out as his new monster began to form itself. Once the monster's form was complete, it was revealed what it was. It was a gigantic monster that rivaled Blue Link Dragon's size. It was a red armored European Dragon with wings as wide as its body. It had silver eyes and seemed to be holding a gigantic two-handed sword in its right hand.
The new monster unleashed a powerful roar as it and Red Knight exited the link portal, returning to LINK VRAINS. "Allow me to introduce Red Dragon Knight – Dragon King!" Red Knight introduced his new monster as Dragon King turned around and roared at Blue Link Dragon.

"That's a big one". White Dragon Mask commented as he looked up at the red armored European Dragon as it was having a staring contest with Blue Link Dragon. "Something's not right. Instead of the Extra Deck Monster Zone, he Link Summoned that thing to Blue Link's Arrow!" Azure told his partner, getting the White Dragon Emperor's attention as he looked down below as the field appeared underneath.
Just like Azure had said, Red Knight had Link Summoned Red Dragon Knight – Dragon King to Blue Link Dragon's top Link Arrow on the right. "Why'd he do that? Now Blue Link Dragon gains another 500 ATK Points". The White Dragon Emperor said with narrowed eyes as his ace Link Monster powered up.

Red Knight gave out a laugh as he held up his right hand. "I activate Dragon Knight's special ability! If he points to a Special Summoned monster, Dragon King gains that monster's ATK Points!" The Hanoi member explained his monster's special ability with a smirk on his face, making both White Dragon Mask and Azure widen their eyes in surprise. Dragon King lifted his sword up, before firing a bright red energy beam at Blue Link Dragon. The beam struck Blue Link Dragon, making him cry out as his energy was drained and absorbed into Dragon King, powering him up.
Red Dragon King – Dragon King ATK Points: 3000 + 3500 = 6500.
"Now it has 6500 ATK Points!" White Dragon Mask exclaimed in surprise, looking up at the powered up Link Monster with wide eyes. "That's not all, White Dragon Mask. Now, I activate the Quick-Play Spell card, Difference between Then and Now!" Red Knight called out as a Spell card appeared in front of him. The Spell card's image had a split screen, with the right side showing Silent Magician LV4 and the left side show Silent Magician LV 8.

The Spell card floated up towards Dragon King before it stopped in front of the Link Monster and glowed red. "The Spell has the deadly effect! If I control a monster that's ATK Points are different than its original ATK Points, you take the damage!" The Hanoi member explained to his opponent with a smirk on his face, making White Dragon Mask and Azure widen their eyes in shock. The Spell card then fired a red beam at White Dragon Mask, who used his claws and wings to protect himself from the blast.
White Dragon Mask Life Points: 4400 – 3500 = 900.
The blast disappeared and White Dragon Mask fell to his right knee, taking deep breaths. "That blast took more than half your Life Points. If his Dragon King successfully lands an attack on Blue Link Dragon, we lose!" The White Dragon Ignis told his partner with his eye narrowed, getting White Dragon Mask to look at Azure. "I already know that". The 16-year-old replied to his partner, before he got back up on his feet.
"It's been fun, White Dragon Mask, but sadly play time is over. I'll be taking that Ignis now. Dragon King, attack!" Red Knight commanded his Link Monster as he shifted his Duel Board sideways to the right and held his right hand out to the White Dragon Emperor. Red Dragon Knight – Dragon King unleashed a mighty roar, before it lifted its sword up as crimson flames surrounded it. Blue Link Dragon spread his wings and claws out, ready for the upcoming attack coming at him.
"This Duel is over". Red Knight told his opponent with a confident smirk on his face, one that White Dragon Mask returned. "Yes, only not in the way you think!" The White Dragon Emperor told his opponent, making Red Knight widen his eyes in surprise. White Dragon Mask then held up his right claw into the air. "I activate my Skill: Instant Trap!" The White Dragon Emperor called out as purple stripes appeared all over him.

"If my Life Points have been reduced by 1000 or more points, I can activate a Trap card from my hand!" White Dragon Mask explained his Skill's effect as he picked a card from his hand and held it out with his right claw. "I choose to activate the Trap card, Dragon's Final Roar!" The White Dragon Emperor called out as a Trap card appeared in front of him. The image showed Stardust Dragon giving out a defiant roar at a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon

"If my Dragon-Type monster battles a monster that's 1000 or more points stronger, my monster's ATK Points becomes the same as your monster's ATK Points!" White Dragon Mask explained his Trap card's effect as the card disappeared and a white aura surrounded Blue Link Dragon.

Red Dragon Knight – Dragon King swung his sword down on Blue Link Dragon, who fired a blue blast attack from his mouth at the sword. The two attacks clashed and created a power struggle, creating powerful shockwaves that shattered the windows of nearby buildings. But the shockwaves were nothing to the two Duelists as their main focus was on the Duel at hand.
"RRRRRAAAAA!" Both White Dragon Mask and Red Knight shout out as both their dragons tried their hardest to overpower one another. Suddenly, a bright light appeared in the middle of Dragon King's sword and Blue Link Dragon's blast attack, before it expended and created a bright light. Both White Dragon Mask and Red Knight covered their eyes, before both dragons exploded in a blue and red explosion with both Duelists getting caught up in the explosion.

On a table were Yusaku, Ash and Rose's Duel Disks, deactivated. The screens of the Duel Disks suddenly had a data stream going through the screens, before clearing to reveal Ai, Azure and Blaze's eyes opening, before they looked right right. The screen zoomed in and changed to LINK VRAINS, moving as if someone was in a Speed Duel. Soon a bright light appeared at the end and covered the screen.

At night in Den City, Yusaku was walking past a colorful street, before his alter ego Playmaker appeared next to him. Nearby, Ash was walking past the street next to a window, which showed White Dragon Mask as his reflection. At Den City Park, Rose was kneeling down in front of a few roses next to a lake. Rose's reflection showed her alter ego, Black Rose Dragon Mask instead of her normal reflection.

At a wrestling ring, The Gore had his hands up with a wide grin as graffiti rained down on him. At Den City Street, Skye Zaizan was walking through a T.V. that showed her alter ego Blue Angel. On the other side of the street, Lulu, Rin, Zuzu, Celina and Saya were walking together, each having an ice scream of different flavors. A window next to them showed their alter egos, Purple Night, Green Witch, Music Singer, Lunalight Dancer and Pink Dragon Mask instead of their normal reflections.

Finally, Yusaku, Ash and Rose were leaning against a railing, before they turned around to look at the rising sun shining over the city with all three of them smiling.
