AN: Sorry for the slight delay of this one, it's a bit longer than my previous chapters. As we are getting through a lot of my set up stuff, hopefully my chapters get longer and stay consistently longer, this one was a nice length, but I don't know if it was too long or too short. I do like the Hibiki idea, I might do a crossover ther, ya know, after I eventually finish Hibiki and get through my backlog of ideas.

adislt: Glad you enjoyed the chapter, and Izuku and Melissa don't plan on sharing the driver with the HPSC, so there wasn't an immediate reason to disclose the risks of using the driver.

ahein9937: Glad I could hype you up :) I honestly found it kinda funny how the HPSC agents perfectly lined up for a Best Match. This chapter is a bit longer than my previous ones, and ideally, they will be this length or longer. I try to find natural stopping points in my chapters and not force them to be longer than they need to be as long as it gets what I wanted to cover across. Hope that makes you happy.

Chapter 6: To Build a Chase

Izuku opened his eyes and stared up at the ceiling, his breathing heavy, his muscles ached, overall: he was in pain.

"I believe that makes the record 23-2, little bird" Hawks stated

"Yeah, yeah" Izuku said slowly sitting up "But I still have two wins on a pro"

"In a casual sparring match, plus your wins were within our first five rounds, so the fact that you haven't had any since should mean something to you"

"Mean what?"

"Meaning, when are you going to stop holding back"

Izuku tilts his head in confusion before speaking "holding back, I've been trying my best to keep up, you've had years more practice with your wings, whereas I've only had mine for about a week"

"That's just it, you've been coming at me with that Hawk-Gatling combination of yours"

"Your point? It's my only Best Match."

Sighing, Hawks shook his head and continued "I'm not going to spell it out for you, but that mindset of yours is why you are holding back, just because it is a Best Match doesn't mean it is the best match"

"What? Can you explain?"

"I could, but then you wouldn't learn. You need to realize where your true strength lies, and once you figure out what I'm saying, then you'll be on route to your true potential"

Izuku paused, and stared at Hawks before replying "Did Nagant tell you that, because that seems too smart to be coming from you?"

"HEY! I'm a pro-hero too, I can give proper advice"

Izuku raised an eyebrow in response.

Hawks sighed "Really, fine. She told me that a week into my training with her, after kicking my ass thirty-seven times in a row" Izuku laughed for a bit, before Hawks eventually joined in. "Alright little bird, head back, we're done here for the day. But in all seriousness, think about what I said, once you realize what I mean, it will only help you grow."

Izuku exhaled before nodding, pulling out the bottles and undoing his transformation as began to walk out, muttering up a storm in his attempt to decipher what Hawks meant. His thoughts were still on his last spar, attempting to analyze every aspect to see where his error lied. Eventually walking through the door of his home, he sighed, and pocketed his phone, and collapsed on the couch.

"Rough day huh Izu?" Melissa said walking up to him

Muffled by the cushions "Yup, both physically and mentally"

"Mentally?"

"Hawks, or rather Hawks quoting Nagant, said something that has me puzzled. He said I was holding myself back somehow, but I've been using our only Best Match to fight him, shouldn't that be my best bet to win"

Melissa paused for a moment, thinking before her eyes widened in realization "Have you only been using Hawk-Gatling?"

Looking up at her to meet her eyes "Yeah"

"Izu, you are smart, so I know you will figure out what he means, because the answer is right in front of you"

"Really Mel? If the answer is so obvious, why can't I see it"

"Because you are looking in the wrong spot Izu. How about this, we take a step back, and I'll show you the project I've been working on with Nagant to take your mind off of it. Who knows maybe you need a quick reset before you realize it"?

Shrugging, Izuku stood up and began to follow Melissa down to their lab "Works for me, so what secret project have you been working on without me"

Smiling, she turned to face him, revealing a blueprint in the process "Ta-Da!"

"Ok, it's a blueprint for a gun"

"Not just any gun, a one handed gatling gun for use with the Gatling bottle"

Tilting his head, Izuku asked "Can you elaborate please?"

"Of course! Based on our tests, the gatling bottle is clearly designed to be used with a firearm, the eyepiece acts as an improved targeting system, the body can generate various types of ammunition, and the arm itself effectively can optimize your shooting abilities. Obviously, you'd still need to practice with this as any multiplier times zero actual skill is still zero skill, but a one handed can enable you to fully optimize the strengths of the gatling bottle"

"Why one handed, why not a two handed weapon"

She smiled and thought to herself Here is your hint, Izu. Setting down the blueprint she responded "Because the gatling bottle only covers one side, so a one handed weapon enables it to be used whenever you use the gatling bottle, regardless of the biotic in place"

"Makes sense, I guess, so how long until it's functional? And what are we calling it?"

Tapping a finger to her chin, she responds "Hmm, well I'll leave the naming to you, as of functionality, give me at least a week to build a prototype, then a few more days to make nanobots to replicate and enhance it"

"You lost me with the nanobots"

Sighing "Izu, you can't just carry a gun with you wherever you go, and as we expand the arsenal, we are going to need to be efficient with space. So, we can store extra nanobots in the driver to make the weapon on command and return after the fact, similar to how the driver utilizes nanobots to make your armor. I'll probably patch it into the HUD, so that you can select a weapon on the go without needing to crank"

"So what you're saying is, we are getting a weapon select menu?"

Chuckling she responds "Yes Izu, we are getting a weapon select menu"

"Alright! This is the best, you rock Mel"

"I know, now we should get some sleep. We have a training session with Kirishima tomorrow after school"

Izuku pinned Eijiro to the ground, suddenly, the rhythmic clanging that was Izuku's ringtone interrupted the fight. Melissa looked over at it and simply said "It's work," before she tossed the phone to Izuku.

Izuku while still pinning Eijiro, caught the phone and answered it. "Hello"

"Build, I hope you're not busy at the moment, we require your assistance"

"I'm in the middle of a sparring match with my friend, is this important?"

"I'd consider it important, are you familiar with the hero team Water Hose?"

"They're a two person team with water quirks, they work in both rescue and combat scenarios due to the versatility of their quirks, why?"

Eijiro started patting Izuku on the arm, admitting his defeat, Izuku released him and exited the ring as the President continued, "A situation has occurred regarding them that we will explain once you arrive, how soon can you be here?"

Izuku stood up and looked to Melissa who simply nodded in response "I can come now I suppose, give me an hour and I'll be there"

"Wonderful, I'll see you soon", and with that, the phone call ended. Izuku looked at Eijiro and then at Melissa, before he said "Sorry Kiribro, I'm gonna got called into work, someone went home sick and needs me to cover for them"

"No worries Midobro, the fact that you're willing to step up and cover for someone is so manly, good luck"

Izuku smiled, thankful to have such an understanding friend as he ran to the locker room to shower before he left.

Eijiro looked over to Melissa and asked, "Where does Midobro work where he needs to know about heroes and quirks?"

Melissa chuckled nervously before responding "Oh, he always does analysis on heroes and their quirks, my guess is someone was just asking if he knew who they were based on the news the other day"

Kirishima nodded, not noticing the deflection, and smiled "Yeah, Midobro is pretty smart, it's so manly!"

Izuku walked into the president's office, she turned around to face him, "Right on time Build, punctual as ever, now on to business. The Hero duo known as Water Hose is down a member"

"What happened? Are they ok?"

"Yes, yes, everything is fine. In case you were not aware the heroes Surge and Overflow that make up the duo are married, and today marks the start of Surge's maternity leave, therefore she cannot operate in the field for a short while"

"Oh, well I guess congratulations are in order. But I don't see how I play into this"

"I'll cut to the chase then. Water Hose works on both rescue and combat operations, I'd like you to obtain a bottle based on Overflow's quirk, ideally you get one that can assist in the fire suppression part of their rescues, however if that were not the case your primary task would shift to the other member of this team up"

"Team up?"

"As I am sure you are aware, Water Hose has been on the news a lot recently, this is due to their skillset perfectly dealing with a recent villain that has been causing ruckus"

"Ah, what did he call himself, Knockout?"

"The very same. Knockout has conducted a string of thefts across Japan, leaving massive damage in his wake forcing the heroes to prioritize the rescue over the capture. Currently the Heroes assigned on this job were Ingenium, who could keep up with Knockout, and Water Hose, who could attempt to trap him while also being the most useful in case an immediate rescue situation occurred as Knockout has a tendency to create fires as a means of a diversion"

"May I ask how we haven't caught him yet; couldn't we prepare to stop the fires before he starts them?"

She sighed "Therein lies the problem, his quirk, named Decepticon, enables him to transform into his own getaway vehicle, additionally due to his robotic mutation, he has modified himself to have several mounted weapons on him, one of which is a custom type of gun that we believe shoots an improvised fire spreading mixture."

"Fire spreading mixture?"

"Effectively, he launches several gallons of gasoline, and launches an ignited cloth, quickly spreading the fire"

Izuku's eyes widened "It's a Molotov cocktail canon"

"Effectively. Now that you understand the basics, I'll get back to your job. Ideally, we can keep you out of the main conflict and have you purely work on rescue, however if the bottle you obtain does not help you deal with fires, we'd have you focus more on pursuit and capture over rescue, this will enable us to have Overflow deal with the rescue and fire prevention alongside the fire department and police officials."

"One final question" She nodded, motioning him to continue "Why me, why not Hawks or Nagant"

"Simple, they can't do what you theoretically can, it is one of your advantages over them in this scenario"

"Alright then, when do I meet Overflow?"

The president responded "He wants to meet at their agency in an hour, Hawks will escort you and explain the situation"

Izuku stopped the Machine Builder in front of the Waterhose Agency, it wasn't very big, only occupying a small office on the first floor of a building. In front of the entrance stood a man with black hair and the beginnings of a mustache, wearing a red vest and helmet with visor and a snorkel attached. When he saw Izuku, equipped with Pirate-Smartphone, and Hawks walk in, he approached.

Hawks gesturing to Izuku spoke first "Overflow this is the Kamen Rider: Build, they have been asked to assist you on the Knockout case while Surge is out of commission"

Overflow's eyebrows rose behind his visor "The Kamen Rider working with the HPSC, not going to lie that's a surprise"

"The commissioner will explain in a press release at a later date, but the short version is that Build here is now officially an ally to heroes, and therefore no longer needs to be considered a criminal"

"Ally, not fellow pro?"

"Sorry, that's confidential"

Nodding, Overflow looked at Izuku and said "Well, no matter, as long as you are here to help I can't complain, not like you've been causing destruction everywhere you go. So how is Build going to help"

Izuku spoke up, holding an empty capture bottle in his hand "With this, the short version is I can convert your DNA into a power up for me, ideally we get one that helps me fight fires so that you and Ingenium can focus more on Knockout"

Overflow whistled and broke into a grin "Nice to know you're flexible, that ability of yours will definitely be an asset here. Plus, we've all seen your power, so there is no concern from me there" He holds out an arm "Now do I get a lollipop after the shot doc?"

Izuku chuckled, "No, but I might start bringing some." Izuku filled the capture bottle before continuing "Looking forward to working with you, congrats by the way."

Overflow smiled, "Thank you, and I look forward to working with you too"

Melissa looked up as Izuku walked into the lab, smiling she spoke up "Welcome home, what did they need you for"

Izuku grinned "We got our first mission, they have me on the Knockout case, mostly for rescue, but the point still stands I'm on the case." He walked over to the purifier and loaded the sample he got from Overflow, after starting the process he walked over and took a seat next to Melissa

"Who's the sample from?"

"Overflow, one half of Water Hose"

"You working with them on this case then?"

"Yep, Surge is on maternity leave, so hopefully this bottle lets me fill in on the rescue side of things"

"Aww how nice, well congratulations to them" Melissa said smiling

"Yup" Izuku's face became serious "However, we are down a pro and I'm filling in"

"Well Build is, well built, for these types of jobs"

"Huh? What do you mean by tha-"

Ding

Izuku was interrupted by the purifier, he and Melissa stood up and walked over, removing the finished bottle from the machine looking it over

"A firetruck? Well can't say that doesn't help rescue and fight fires, alright let's test it no-"

Izuku was once again cut off, this time by his phone ringing, sighing he walked over and answered "Hey boss, what do you need"

Speaking quickly the commissioner responds "Build, is the bottle done, can it be used to assist in the rescues"

"Yes, we just finished it, and regarding if it can help. Theoretically, it's a fire truck this time around, we haven't tested it yet"

"Well, you're going to have to learn on the fly, Knockout has just struck again, he is currently inside a bank, Ingenium and Overflow are already on route, get there as soon as you can, I have sent the location"

"On my way"

Izuku took a step away from Melissa giving himself space, looking at her and nodding before loading bottles

The frames collapsed revealing Izuku, donning his gray and orange armor

As Izuku ran out the door, Melissa simply shook her head saying "lord I hope he figures it out fast" before turning on the news and resuming her work.

Izuku soared through the skies at breakneck speeds, eventually reaching the location of the robbery. He landed, stumbleed a bit, and quickly ran over to where Overflow and Ingenium were discussing a game plan.

"-and once they get here we can plan around what skill they got" Overflow finished

Ingenium noticing Build run up continued "Well we won't have to wait long, here is the man of the hour" he quickly walked up and spoke "I'd do a more pleasant introduction, but time is of the essence, Overflow has given me a quick debrief of your situation, what did you get"

"It's a Fire Truck Bottle, but it's untested, theoretically I can fight fires with it."

"Good enough for me. Build, you and Overflow will secure the exits, however if he launches his fire starter, try to clear it before it can ignite or clear out any civilians in the area. Build you prioritize rescue, Overflow you play it as necessary. We cannot allow this to continue any longer"

Both Izuku and Overflow nodded in response. Izuku pulled out the fire truck bottle and replaced the gatling bottle in his driver.

The frames collapsed around him, his once gray armor was replaced with bright red armor, on his arm was what looked like an extendable ladder from a fire truck, however this had a nozzle at the end.

Izuku scanned his HUD, quickly trying to gain the basic information of what the bottle could do, before sighing in relief, and speaking. Raising is now red arm he spoke "Good news, it shoots water"

"Great! Now let's move in"

The three entered the building, only for their eyes to widen in shock

Standing before them was a giant of a man, if he could even be called that. His skin was completely metal, colored bright red, with a pair of wheels with gold rims on his upper back, and doors seemingly as armor on his forearms.

But the man himself wasn't why the heroes paused, around the bank hostages lay there, doused in what the heroes assumed to be gasoline.

Ingenium clenched his fist "Bastard, he already planned his escape, how were we not informed of the situation being like this"

"Oh, a simple jammer does wonders to stall communications" Knockout said, his metallic voice brimming with confidence "Now I would love to stay and chat, but I need to go enjoy my prize, unless of course you want your hostages well done"

Ingenium looked over to the two behind him, clenching his fist tighter, he slowly nodded and stepped out of the way. Overflow followed suit, and Izuku hesitated but eventually cleared the path. As Ingenium stood next to Izuku he whispered, "As soon as he is out the door and starts leaving, I will pursue, my location will be sent directly to the both of you. Make sure the hostages are safe and rendezvous at my location. He. Will. Not. Be. Escaping. Understood."

A slight nod was all Izuku responded with. As Knockout strutted out the open door and transformed into a sports car, his limbs merging into his body until he was fully shifted. He quickly started his engines and began his escape.

As soon as he started off, Ingenium burst through the open bank doors in pursuit shouting through the comms "Take care of the hostages first, make sure they are safe, as soon as you can rendezvous on me!"

Looking at each other, Izuku and Overflow nod and begin untying and cleaning off the hostages. Izuku served as an ample source of water by shooting it out of the nozzle on his fire truck arm, and Overflow using his quirk to guide the excess water to properly clear up the area of any extra ignition solution to prevent any fires from starting. After the hostages were properly freed and first aid was being applied Overflow spoke into the comms. "Hostages have all been secured and accounted for, I am sending Build ahead and I will catch up as soon as I can"

"Understood, I am still in pursuit, be wary of Knockout, he may be a car at the moment, but this car has canons"

"You got it, on my way with the air support" Izuku said, reloading the gatling bottle into the driver.

Spreading his wings Izuku took flight, kicking up a cloud of dust in the process, using his HUD to keep an eye on Ingenium's location Izuku, cut above the city in a straight line to intercept and cut off Knockout. A path that led them to a more broken down part of town, into a warehouse alongside a pier. Izuku from above witnessed Knockout drive straight into the warehouse, with Ingenium quick to follow. Nodding to himself Izuku flew through the open door himself. Shortly after Izuku entered, the doors shut behind him, a loud click indicating they were locked shut.

A slow clap was heard, with heavy, metallic steps walking towards the two heroes. "Who would have thought that it would be this easy to lead you two here"

Izuku tilted his head "A slow clap, really? Kinda cliche aint it?"

"Given how you two so easily followed me here, I think I earned it"

"Followed, we have you cornered" Izuku retorted

"Ah, yes. Cornered, in an arena of my choosing"

Ingenium quickly looked around the warehouse before speaking "shit, we're trapped"

The walls of the warehouse were lined with various scrap made guns and turrets, each humming to life as they took aim on the two heroes.

Clenching his fist "How could I have been so reckless, I let my anger get the best of me" Ingenium spoke.

"Indeed, who would have thought that a few arsons here and a few thefts there was all it would take to get you here, Ingenium"

Looking up, Ingenium spoke "me? I was your target?"

"Indeed, the Turbo Hero: Ingenium, the only man who could keep up with my speed. If you were eliminated, there is no hero below All Might who could potentially keep up with me, but even then, our Symbol of Peace is a lot better at punching then at running"

Ingenium's eyes widened in realization "It was a show, you pulled all those flashy heists, endangered all those people, to draw me out. You really are a heartless machine underneath that skin"

"You flatter me, after all knowing your last thoughts of how I am superior to you is music to my ears. After all, you are the one hero I ack-" He was interrupted by a kick from Izuku to the head. Knockout's head only tilting slightly in response. "-knowledge" grabbing Izuku by the leg he held him up to face him "now that was rude, I was talking to the hero in the room!" he said slamming izuku several times into the ground and throwing him into a pile of crates

"Build! Are you okay?"

"How noble, concerned for the vigilante playing hero. Now then, I will deal with our guest later. I want our fight to be glorious, a true photo finish for the hero Ingenium!" Knockout shouted

Ingenium got into a stance, and rushed at Knockout, delivering a barrage of punches and kicks against his metallic foe. A manic grin was across the villain's face as he blocked and countered. Both sides seemingly equal, even with the difference of style, Ingenuim's quick offense versus Knockout's stalwart defense, neither side was giving ground. After one exchange Ingenium was pushed back, jumping to gain some distance, he got into a stance and revved the engine in his right arm before shouting

"Recipro Impact!" Delivering a high velocity punch into the chest of Knockout, denting the metal on his chest and sending him back. Noticing this Ingenium smiled slightly under his mask So he is not damage resistant, we just need to hit hard enough to get through his armor. Alright, time to kick it up a notch!

"Recipro Blitz!" Igniting both the engines on his arms, he quickly rushed after Knockout, delivering a flurry of high velocity punches, uppercuts, jabs, and kicks denting the armor and driving Knockout back, the constant pressure keeping Knockout on a poor defensive. Until Ingenium's engines stalled.

"Finally out of gas" Knockout said his voice brimming with confidence "Now, my turn" shifting his right hand into a drill he thrust forward, not enough to pierce Ingenium's armor but strong enough to send him flying across the warehouse. Quick to follow up, he rushed after his launched opponent and delivered an axe kick slamming the hero into the concrete floor, creating a crater in the process. He then started the drill on his hand, and begun to lower it towards Ingenium "Time to die Turbo Hero"

"NO!" Izuku shouted, tackling the villain off of Ingenium, giving the speedster a moment to get back to his feet.

"Build! Thanks, glad to see you're still kicking"

"How long until your engines are back?"

"Five minutes max, why?"

"Because I'll get you that time" Izuku said standing up, a limp obvious in his step

Knockout recovering from the shock of being interrupted slowly turned to face Izuku. "And once again our multicolored misfit interrupts my battle. Fine, as Ingenium said, five minutes, that means I'll have to kill you in three."

Izuku rushed to Knockout, delivering high speed punches and kicks, triggering small explosions in between the flurry of blows, however none of it seemed to amount to much damage.

"Explosions, nice change of pace, but" Knockout quickly closed the distance "can't play with fire if i can't handle the heat" he finished delivering a strong punch sending Izuku crashing into a support beam and slowly sliding to the ground.

Knockout walked over to Build, and put his foot onto his chest, sending a smirk in Ingenium's direction along the way. "Now I believe it has been two minutes, and while I appreciate the effort my winged friend, this bird is about to be roadkill. It is a shame too, you seemed so much more interesting when fighting that rabbit on TV"

Coughing, Izuku questioned "The hell you mean with that"

"Oh, come on, you said it best yourself, you were not a 'one trick rider' but here you are stubbornly using that one combination not even trying either of your options that are clearly designed for the style you are fighting with. A disappointment truly, perhaps if you had survived this you may have become a worthy adversary like Ingenium there"

Izuku's eyes widened under the mask in realization: That's what they meant, no duh it was obvious, I already knew the answer, I guess Hawks was right that a Best Match isn't always the best match. Izuku started with a small chuckle, and eventually broke into a laugh.

"Laughing? Have you finally accepted your loss?"

"Man, this is the worst. Getting the answer from a villain who is about to kill me, and even worse than that, proving that Hawks can say something smart, what has the world come to."

Knockout then broke out into laughter as he lowered his foot, beginning to crush Izuku "It truly brings me joy knowing that your last thoughts are of regret, farewell my colorful friend"

"You misunderstand"

"Hoh? How so?"

"It wasn't me laughing in defeat, it was me laughing at how idiotic I am sometimes"

Knockout furrowed his brow, "I don't see how that improves your situation"

"Oh, it doesn't, but it does buy time for someone else"

Knockout's eyes widened as he quickly turned to look at Ingenium whose engines were once again flaring as he rushed at him

"RECIPRO IMPACT!" delivering a punch straight into the previously made cavity in Knockout's armor, the metal man was sent sliding back across the room, freeing Izuku in the process.

Gasping for air Ingenium spoke "Nice work Build, good job stalling, now you got a plan, because I am running on fumes here and you aren't in much better shape yourself"

"I've got more than a plan Ingenium, I have the winning formula" He responded tracing a hand along one of his eye plates "I need you to get ready, I'll be sending a car your way for it to get scrapped. Just let me slip into something a bit more comfortable" he said as he pulled out a purple and red bottle from his holster, giving them a quick shake and inserting them into the driver.

The frames collapsed, and Izuku was now equipped with the water cannon on his left arm, and his other half was a deep purple, his right arm and left leg now bearing claws, and a massive purple tail sprouting from his back.

Ingenium smirked "Dinosaur, that's a new one"

Izuku began walking forward "I made sure to keep a few of these a secret, can't reveal my entire hand, almost forgot my main strength" He held a thumb up and gestured to himself "I am the Kamen Rider: Build, the hero built to handle any situation, a hero who will rise to the very top and work hard to save as many people as I can" He shouted, and adjusted his hand pointing at Knockout "and that plan starts with your defeat"

Using the tail to push off the ground, Izuku launched himself at Knockout delivering a strong clawed kick at Knockout's knee, causing it to buckle. Seizing the opportunity when Knockout fell to one knee, Izuku followed up by whipping his tail around, and smacking Knockout sending him airborne. Knockout fell onto his side, at which point Izuku started spraying a non-stop assault of high pressure water to Knockout's face, blinding him as Izuku walked closer. Noticing the crater from where Ingenium had already weakened the armor on his chest, Izuku delivered a mighty punch from his right hand at the weak point. Knockout staggered back and attempted to stabilize himself. He began to roar, and shouted

"NO! You two were defeated, I proved my superiority, I will not be defeated here" He pressed a button on his arms "Screw the honor of this fight, I hope you don't mind a few bullets and several gallons of gasoline!" However, all that happened was the guns mounted around the workshop coating Knockout himself in his own fire starting solution

"What? Why"

Izuku chuckled, "You know, for someone who claimed to mastermind this you sure forgot one important thing?"

"And what is that?!"

"This operation had a three man team" Izuku said gesturing to a control room above them, where Overflow stood waving from above. Knockout's eyes widened as Izuku continued "And by the way, this isn't called fire truck for nothing" Izuku then began to use his arm as a flamethrower causing the villain to scream as he attempted to put himself out.

"Ingenium are you ready!" Izuku shouted

"All lights are green on my end" Ingenium responded his engines flaring at maximum output, as he stood in a position ready to deliver a powerful punch

"Then let's do this" Izuku began cranking the handle of the driver, a clanging sound echoed throughout the warehouse as he pushed off his tail and launched himself airborne towards his flaming foe.

Vortex Attack!

Izuku delivered a powerful kick into Knockout sending him flying towards a prepared Ingenium, and as he drew near, Ingenium launched his primed punch into the cavity he created

"RECIPRO IMPACT: FULL THROTTLE!" His engines flaring, the armored hero delivered his strongest punch, completely shattering the armor around the indent, and sending the mechanical menace crashing through the wall of the warehouse and into the ocean nearby.

After the fight had concluded, Overflow had descended the control tower and assisted Ingenium and Izuku out of the warehouse where paramedics and police were waiting to receive them, the police already fishing Knockout out of the harbor and putting him into custody. Before going to the ambulance, Izuku asked to go over to Knockout before they took him away.

"What else is there to be done? He's in cuffs already?" Ingenium asked

"This" Izuku pulled out a capture bottle and extracted a sample from the exposed part of Knockout's chest, holding the bottle he turned back to Ingenium who had a confused look on his now helmetless face.

"What is that for?"

"I can make upgrades based on the quirks of others" Izuku looked down to the now full capture bottle in his hand "I guess I want to put this quirk to better use, and use it to help me help others"

Ingenium smiled and nodded "Well if that's the case" He held out his arm "No reason to limit yourself to villains. I would have died if it wasn't for you, consider it my thanks as well as an investment."

"No need to thank me, we wouldn't have been able to take him down without you, and what do you mean by Investment?"

"Simple, Overflow informed me that you are acting under the HPSC, therefore you're on your way to be a proper hero. It would be good to know that someone like you has as much to work with as possible, after all, you're built to handle any situation, right?" He laughed and Izuku soon joined in before Ingenium paused and looked at Overflow. "Speaking of you, how did you know to disable the guns?"

Overflow smirked "Oh that's easy, Build here sent me the feed from their suit, they kept looking back between the guns on the walls and the control station, I got the message that you were stuck in a death box, and so I ensured our escape by turning Knockout's own trap against him"

"I didn't even know you could manually control the guns, I just wanted them off," Izuku jokes.

"Anyways, it was definitely an experience working with the two of you. How about next time we avoid the living vehicles out to kill me and just stop a normal bank robbery" Ingenium said laughing, the other two joining in soon after.
