Chapter 3 Lost in the forest

Inuyasha had ran into the forest crying and ranting about Theo not realizing how far he had gone in the forest. Upon realizing this he was absolutely lost in the middle of a clearing. But then he realized the clearing looked familiar somehow. Walking around surveying the clearing eventually coming up an old tree stump. Inuyasha instantly recognized where he was. He was at the same place he came into this strange world 15 years ago. Sitting down on the stump so to gather himself not realizing that he was being watched until he heard a howl. Looking around noticing the glowing red-orange eyes watching him. But he wasn't worried because he knew that the owner of the eyes won't hurt him. The wolf came closer and shifted into its humanoid form revealing it to be Koga the alpha of the woods.

Koga
Pup is everything ok?

Inuyasha
(Sniffles) No it is not!

Koga
What's wrong pup tell me?

Inuyasha
It's Theo he is such a bastard and a perv I hate him, and I want to kill him!

Koga
What did he do?

Inuyasha
He asked me to marry him. Then him forced himself on me kissing me without warning.

Koga
What an asshole!

Inuyasha
No kidding.

Koga
Pup do you want to come back with me to the den to sleep and recover from the horrible experience?

Inuyasha
Yes, I would love that! It has been five years since I have seen you and the pack.

So, Koga stands up and holds out his hand to his pup. Inuyasha graciously takes it and stands up. The two of them walk to the den. While they were walking to the den they caught up. Ten minutes later, they arrive at the den. Upon entering Inuyasha is tackle to the ground by the twins in their wolf forms. They both shower him in licks and kisses to the face while emitting a growl like purr the whole time.

Inuyasha
Hey guys I see that you have missed me. But this is overdoing it don't you think boys?

The boys nod and back off so Inuyasha can sit up. Reaching out his hands to scratch under their chins and behind their ears. Causing them to wag their tails happily and emit the growl like purr even louder. Which woke up Aiden who was cuddling his father in their wolf forms. Aiden then gets up and walks over to Inuyasha to greet him as well. Koga then walks over to Aiden and bends down to whisper something in his ear. Which causes Aiden to raise an eyebrow and look at Inuyasha with concern. So, Aiden shifts into his humanoid form not caring that he was naked and goes over to hug Inuyasha.

Aiden
You poor pup that must have been a rough experience to go through!

Inuyasha
(Sniffles) It was I hate that man with all my heart. It disgusts me every time he makes advances to get my attention. I just wished that he would leave me alone. But anyway, how are you and where is your brother?

Aiden
I am good pup thanks for asking. Ethan on the other hand isn't doing well.

Inuyasha
Oh no what happened this time?

Aiden
Nothing too bad that is if you consider being asked to be the new matriarch be bad. Our father is ill and doesn't have long left to live. So, last week he summoned me and him to announce his successor. Since I am already mated and married and Ethan isn't he will have to take over for the leadership of the family when our father dies.

Inuyasha
Damn, that is huge shoes to fill no wonder he isn't doing well after having that dropped on his plate. How long does he have to find a mate and get married?

Aiden
Two months since father doesn't have much longer to live.

Inuyasha
What about you?

Aiden
I don't know what you are talking about!

Inuyasha
Come on, you know as well as I do that my sense of smell is just as great as a werewolf's. So, how far long are you?

Aiden
(Blushes) Babe save me from this embarrassment?

Koga
Not a chance just answer the question.

Aiden
Fine! I am two months along.

Koga
See was that so hard?

Aiden
Not helping!

Inuyasha
Two months huh, congratulations. Do you know what you are having?

Koga and Aiden
A boy and from the smell of it he is giving off the scent of an alpha, but we won't know for sure until he is born but were hoping since Koga was the last-born alpha in the last 50 years.

Inuyasha
Congratulation! Also, I wished you two the best of luck and hope your suspicions are true.

Koga

Inuyasha
Anytime pack father.

From all the talking it happened to wake up Hojo and Ethan in the process but they just fell back asleep.

Inuyasha
Damn, that sickness must be taking a toll on Hojo for him to fall asleep so quickly.

Aiden
Yeah, mixed with old age it drains his energy quickly. But anyway allow me to escort you back to the clearing so my mate and the twins can sleep.

Inuyasha
Very much appreciated mate father.

Aiden kisses Koga quickly and leaves with Inuyasha. Ten minutes later, they arrive back at the clearing where Koga found him.

Aiden
Are you sure that you can find your way home back from here?

Inuyasha
Positive!

Aiden
Very well! Stay safe and next time don't wait five years to visit you hear me pup.

Inuyasha
(Scoffs) Yes mate father. I promise to visit more often, and you stay safe as well.

Aiden
Glad to hear that!

Aiden then hugs Inuyasha and Inuyasha returns the hug then they parted. Aiden then shifted back into his wolf form running off back the way they came. As Inuyasha watched Aiden leave he got a weird feeling that he will be seeing him again sooner than he might think. Brushing off the feeling Inuyasha headed back home. But before he left the clearing, he got a weird feeling telling him to explore the woods more. Thirty minutes later, it started to get dark. Inuyasha then realizing that what night it was causing him to panic. Inuyasha then decided that it won't be in the best interest to go back home and risk the village know his secret.

He then decided to go back the way he came to head back to the den. But as fate would have it a lightning bolt struck several trees causing them to fall and block the path. Refusing to take a detour and risk getting lost Inuyasha decided to continue on the path he was taking. Eventually coming up on a fork in the road. Deciding to continue straight but something in his gut told him to take the other path. After a half hour he came up on a gate and behind the gate was a creepy castle. "Thinking to himself it is better than nothing plus it looks like a storm is going to hit soon and I rather not be lost in the forest during the storm."
