Scott sadly watches Inuyasha leave the ballroom with the pack after talking to Peter. With a sad heart he also leaves the ballroom as well making his way up to the dungeon tower.

After he arrived at the tower, he curled up in a ball in the nest that he made to sleep in since his bed was too small for his current appearance. He then slowly drifted off to sleep.

Ten minutes later, Scott was awoken by the sound of the castle door opening and closing. Scott then got up and walked over to the window and looked down in the entrance watching Inuyasha climb on the back of a huge wolf and leave.

After watching Inuyasha leave and knowing he might never come back. Scott walked back over to the nest and sat down and started to cry. Unbeknownst to Inuyasha he didn't realize that Liam secretly hopped into his backpack when his back was turned.

Tucking himself deep in the creases of the pack so not to be seen.

Koga heads to the gate and opens it then says to the twins.

Ginta, Hakkaku combine into your super wolf form for Inuyasha to ride on your back on the way to his cottage.

They both nodded and stripped and morphed. Two minutes later, Inuyasha was staring down a wolf the size of a horse. Surprisingly the wolf walked over to Inuyasha and nudged him to climb on their back.

Inuyasha, understanding what they meant nodded. So, the wolf crouched down to make it easier for him to climb on. After Inuyasha climbed on the wolf's back, the wolf carefully stood back up so as not to jostle or frighten Inuyasha.

Then the rest of the pack stripped and shifted into their wolf forms as well. Koga took the lead and they all headed into the forest. Ten minutes later, they came upon the blockage in the path and one by one jumped over it.

Thankfully Inuyasha wrapped his arms around the big wolf's neck in the nick of time so he wouldn't be tossed off it's back.

Meanwhile back at the tower dungeon of the castle Scott had eventually stopped crying. Realizing that it was for the best to let Inuyasha go. But, in his heart he couldn't help but feel a tinge of regret that he didn't ask him to stay and truly admit his feelings for Inuyasha.

Accepting his decision Scott sat on the floor and started singing to himself.

"I was the one who had it all.
I was the master of my fate.
I never needed anybody in my life.
I learned the truth too late.
I'll never shake away the pain.
I close my eyes but he's still there.
I let him steal into my melancholy heart
It's more than I can bear."

"Now I know he'll never leave me,
Even as he runs away,
He will still torment me.
Calm me, hurt me,
Move me, come what may."

"Wasting in my lonely tower.
Waiting by an open door,
I'll fool myself.
He'll walk right in,
And be with me for evermore."

"I rage against the trials of love.
I curse the fading of the light.
Through he's already flown,
So far beyond my reach
He's never out of sight."

"Now I know he'll never leave me.
Even as he fades from view.
He will still inspire me.
Be a part of everything I do.
Wasting in my lonely tower,
Waiting by an open door,
I'll fool myself, he'll walk right in
And as the long, long nights begin.
I'll think of all that might have been.
Waiting here for evermore."

Meanwhile back in the forest...

After jumping over the blockage, they continued down the path that led to Inuyasha's cottage. Twenty minutes later, they eventually arrived at the cottage. Inuyasha then hops off of the wolf's back.

After Inuyasha hops off Ginta and Hakkaku separate and shift to their humanoid forms also as well as the rest of the pack following suit. Inuyasha then goes and opens the back door walking through it with the pack following behind.

Unbeknownst to Inuyasha and the pack Theo's henchmen Miroku was spying on them as well as waiting for Inuyasha's return. Miroku quietly sneaks away and heads to the tavern to inform Theo that Inuyasha has returned.

Inuyasha and the pack headed up to his bedroom to relax off the exhaustion of the ball and the snacks. Upon entering the bedroom Inuyasha shrugs off his shirt and pants and climbs onto the bed. Sitting in the middle of it and covering his lap up with the covers.

A moment later the pack had shifted Transformed back into their wolf forms, Ethan, Aiden, Ginta, and Hakkaku snuggled close to Inuyasha, who sat on his bed engrossed in watching "Supernatural".

The twins, Ethan and Aiden, as well as Ginta and Hakkaku, seemed particularly engrossed in the show. Four hours later, Inuyasha noticed the pack had dozed off. Quietly, he reached for the remote, turned off the TV, and then the bedside lamp.

He snuggled into the blankets, closed his eyes, and soon drifted into sleep. However, twenty minutes later, a sharp pain in his heart jolted him awake.

Puzzled by this unexpected emotion, he reflected on its origin and realized it was a longing for Scott. While he had chosen to leave the castle and his life there, he deeply regretted leaving Scott's side. He may have concluded his contract with Scott, but the ache for Scott's presence lingered.

Suddenly, a subtle movement from his backpack caught his attention. Silently, he slid out of bed, ensuring not to disturb the sleeping pack. He swiftly but gently opened the backpack and was taken aback to find young Liam hiding inside.

"Inuyasha, why did you leave? Don't you like us anymore?" Liam asked with innocent curiosity.

"Oh, Liam! It's not that. I do care for you. It's just that my life is here in my cottage, not in the castle," Inuyasha replied with a hint of regret.

Before Liam could respond, Inuyasha gestured for him to be silent, having detected approaching footsteps. As they drew nearer, Inuyasha recognized a familiar scent, it was Theo. However, he wasn't alone; several others accompanied him, and soon, the sound of a carriage pulling up outside the cottage became audible.
