Koga eventually reached a clearing. Turning to the right and following the path towards the castle, he encountered a blockage. Seeing the fallen trees, he crouched, preparing to leap over them.

Inuyasha, sensing Koga's intention, quickly wrapped his arms around Koga's neck. With a powerful jump, Koga cleared the trees, landing steadily before sprinting towards the castle.

Minutes later, as Koga neared the castle gates at full speed, Inuyasha was stunned to see villagers fleeing in the opposite direction. Looking further ahead, his heart sank: Theo was battling Scott, who was strangely not retaliating. Both Koga and Inuyasha reached the castle courtyard just as Scott was knocked down by Theo.

"Get up," Theo scorned.

"What's the matter? Too kind and gentle to fight back?" Theo taunted, a wicked grin on his face.

Turning away from Scott, Theo snapped a leg off one of the gargoyles, intending to use it as a weapon. Scott groaned in pain, but upon seeing Inuyasha, he managed to whisper, "Inuyasha."

Theo advanced, clearly intent on finishing Scott.

"SCOTT! Theo, don't hurt him!" Inuyasha cried desperately.

This plea energized Scott, who rose and grabbed Theo's arm, preventing the fatal blow.

"Let's go, Koga," Inuyasha urged.

Nodding, Koga sprinted into the castle.

"Take the left stairway to the west wing," Inuyasha directed.

Koga leaped over the stairs leading to the ballroom, turned left, and ascended rapidly. He soon encountered another fork.

"Take the left stairs," Inuyasha instructed.

Without pausing, Koga vaulted through the open doors, headed up the stairs, and turned right into Scott's room. Inuyasha jumped off his back, dashing through the room and onto the balcony, then up the tower stairs to where Theo and Scott were.

"Were you in love with him, Beast? Did you think Inuyasha would choose you over me?" Theo jeered.

Emerging from the shadows, Scott caught Theo off-guard. However, fueled by adrenaline and resolve, Theo began to overpower Scott.

"IT'S OVER, BEAST! INUYASHA IS MINE!" Theo shouted triumphantly.

Suddenly, Scott, with a surge of adrenaline, headbutted Theo, sending him sprawling. Gripping Theo by the neck, Scott dangled him over the edge, growling menacingly.

"Please, don't kill me! I'll do ANYTHING!" Theo pleaded.

Get out!

Softening, Scott tossed Theo aside near the gargoyles. Turning, he was met with a joyous call.

"SCOTT!" Inuyasha exclaimed.

Peering up, Scott saw Inuyasha on the tower's balcony.

"Inuyasha," Scott murmured, happiness evident in his voice.

He began to climb. Once he reached the top, he affectionately caressed Inuyasha's face.

"You came back," Scott expressed in surprise.

"Of course, I did," Inuyasha replied tearfully.

Amidst their reunion, neither noticed Theo's stealthy ascent. With sudden violence, Theo stabbed Scott, who roared in pain and began to falter. Losing his balance, Theo plummeted to his death, while Inuyasha acted swiftly to prevent Scott from following suit. Once safe, Scott, weakened and bloodied, spoke.

"You... You came back," Scott murmured.

"It's my fault... I should've been here sooner," Inuyasha lamented.

"Maybe it's better this way at least I was able to see one last time," Scott whispered, dying moments later.

Overcome with grief, Inuyasha cried out, "I LOVE YOU!"

Suddenly, the final petal fell, and magic enveloped the scene. Scott underwent a transformation, reverting from beast to human, but with distinctive wolf features. Standing before Inuyasha, Scott whispered, "It's me."

Recognizing the man from a torn photograph, Inuyasha embraced Scott, "It is you!"

Their reunion sparked a cascade of magical transformations throughout the castle, restoring its grandeur and reverting the enchanted servants to their human forms.

"It's a miracle," Scott whispered.

Moments later, in the grand ballroom, Scott and Inuyasha shared a dance.

"Will they live happily ever after, mama?" Liam inquired.

"Of course, my dear. Of course," Victoria replied.

Liam, with an impish smile, added, "Do I still have to sleep in the cupboard?"

"Certain as the sun,
Rising in the east,
Tale as old as time,
Song as old as rhyme,
Beauty and the Beast."
