The voice from the intercom jolted the four from their slumbers.

"Please buckle up. We'll be landing at Beacon Hills Airport shortly."

The aircraft's descent was gentle. Within twenty minutes, the familiar thud of wheels meeting the runway signaled their arrival. Once stationary, the cockpit door opened revealing the pilot and flight attendant, who promptly proceeded to open the main cabin door.

Chris was already on the tarmac, efficiently loading their luggage into a nearby carriage. Spotting them, he waved enthusiastically.

As they disembarked, Inuyasha was the first to approach Chris, surprising him with a heartfelt hug. Chris chuckled, reciprocating the gesture.

"It's good to see you again, Inuyasha," he said, patting him on the back.

"The pleasure's mine. I'd like you to meet my older half-brother, Sesshomaru, and my nephew, Shippou," Inuyasha introduced, gesturing to the two figures behind him.

Chris extended a hand, shaking theirs in greeting. "Welcome. I'm Chris, head servant at the castle and Scott's trusted aide."

"It's an honor," Sesshomaru responded, a hint of a smile on his usually stoic face. Shippou, ever the enthusiastic one, chimed in, "This place looks amazing! Can't wait to explore."

Chris chuckled. "There'll be time for that. But first, I've got a little surprise for you all. Head into the castle and make your way to the dining room."

Curiosity piqued; the group did as instruct. As they pushed open the grand doors of the dining hall, a chorus of "SURPRISE AND WELCOME HOME!" echoed around them. The long wooden table was adorned with a lavish spread: roasted meats, fresh fruits, assorted cheeses, and decanters filled with wine.

There was also a massive cake to celebrate the twins' birthday.

The most touching sight, however, was the gathering of familiar faces. The pack and servant were all there, beaming and waiting.

Overwhelmed, Inuyasha made a beeline for his adoptive parents, embracing them tightly. The room buzzed with laughter, stories, and the joy of reunion.

Inuyasha excitedly approached the pack, his face lighting up with familiar warmth. He was immediately enveloped in a group hug, their shared camaraderie evident.

As they pulled apart, Adrian, the youngest of the pack, with a burst of youthful energy, tackled Inuyasha playfully, causing a domino effect that resulted in both of them sprawling on the ground. The room erupted in laughter.

Scott, ever the playful partner, decided to take advantage of the merry atmosphere. Before Inuyasha could regain his composure and find his seat, Scott scooped him up bridal-style, causing Inuyasha's face to turn a deep shade of red.

The duo made their way to a chair, with Scott settling down with Inuyasha in his lap. The move prompted more chuckles from the group, and Inuyasha buried his face into Scott's shoulder, embarrassed but clearly amused.

As the laughter subsided, servants entered the room, pushing trolleys laden with an array of dishes. The tantalizing aroma filled the room as they efficiently served everyone, ensuring that glasses were filled and plates were heaped with food.

With everyone settled, Ginta, looking curious, leaned forward. "So, these two new faces – how did they come into the picture? You've been gone for a while, Inuyasha."

Inuyasha, gesturing toward the tall, stoic figure and the younger fox demon, "That's Sesshomaru, my older half-brother, and the fox is Shippou, my childhood friend. Sesshomaru adopted Shippou after a tragic incident, making him my adoptive nephew."

Hakkaku, another member of the pack, raised an eyebrow. "But you mentioned that demons, other than you, were extinct?"

A somber expression passed over Inuyasha's face. "I believed that too. For decades, I thought I was the last. The revelation that my family and friends survived... it was overwhelming."

Shippou, feeling all eyes on him, chimed in with a shy smile, "I was very young when my parents were killed by werewolves. Alone and terrified, I hid in trees and scavenged for food. One day, while foraging, I heard rustling from a nearby bush. Expecting danger, I prepared to defend myself, only to be greeted by Sesshomaru's familiar face."

Koga, the leader of the wolf pack, nodded appreciatively, "It's brave for someone so young to survive in such circumstances."

The night continued with shared stories, reminiscences, and hopes for the future. In the midst of joy and reunion, it was evident that the bonds between them all had only grown stronger.

The group listened intently, captivated by Inuyasha's tale.

"So, the honeymoon was not only a romantic escape but also a reunion," Ethan remarked, his playful tone still present.

"Yeah," Inuyasha responded with a smile, "It was unexpected, but it made the trip even more special. Shippou also made some delicious food."

Koga leaned back in his chair, his eyes reflecting understanding. "Life has a funny way of springing surprises on us. But it seems like this one was a happy twist of fate for you."

Shippou, looking slightly sheepish after his cooking was mentioned by Inuyasha, said, "I'm just glad we were there to make your first meal back home. It was the least we could do after all these years."

Scott wrapped an arm around Inuyasha, pulling him close, "And I'm just glad I got to be part of this incredible journey with you."

There was a brief pause as everyone took in the gravity of the moment, and then Hakkaku broke the silence, "So, any other surprises on this honeymoon of yours or was a long-lost family reunion the cherry on top?"

Inuyasha chuckled, "Well, there might have been a few more surprises, but those stories are for another time."

The room erupted in laughter, the camaraderie palpable. The evening continued with more stories, each sharing memories, adventures, and hopes for the future.

"Remember that game challenge at the cottage?" Scott reminisced with a chuckle, thinking about the time they spent in the cottage together. "I still can't believe you got me doing dishes for a week!"

Inuyasha laughed, "Ah, good times! Your beef stew was a lifesaver afterward."

"True," Scott smiled, "But nothing compared to that festival in your hometown. Seeing those traditional dances and artisans... It was like stepping into another world."

Inuyasha nodded, "Walking you through my childhood places, the monk's temple and the Bone Eater's Well forest... It felt like revisiting old memories."

"And that night at the inn," Scott added, "It's something I'll never forget."

Inuyasha took Scott's hand, "Every moment, every memory, they're all treasures to me."

Koga chuckled, "A honeymoon tale and the twins' birthday all in one evening? That's memorable."

The remnants of the celebration—empty glasses, crumpled napkins, and half-burnt candles—lay scattered across the room. The dimmed chandeliers cast a mellow glow, and the festive atmosphere gradually transitioned to one of calm.

"You're right," Scott replied to Koga, looking over the remains of the birthday cake, "Tonight was truly special."

The castle began to quieten, with only the soft clinking of dishes being cleared away and hushed conversations of departing group echoing through the corridors bathed in moonlight.

Scott approached Inuyasha, who seemed lost in thought. Gently cupping his face, Scott leaned in and gave him a tender, lingering kiss, whispering, "Goodnight, my love."

Pulling away, Scott added, "I'll show Sesshomaru and Shippou to their rooms. You go on ahead and rest."

After leading the two to their respective chambers, ensuring they had everything they needed and bidding them goodnight, Scott headed back to the master bedroom. By the time he entered, Inuyasha was already nestling into sleep, looking serene under the soft blankets.

Scott quietly joined him, the tranquility of the night quickly drawing him into rest beside his beloved.
