"You're pregnant?" Sesshomaru and Koga exclaimed in unison, their eyes wide with surprise.

"Yes, brother, I am," Inuyasha responded, a mixture of excitement and trepidation in his voice. "We wanted to tell you, but Scott thought it best to wait. I was afraid you'd think we were rushing into things and would be upset."

"Inuyasha," Sesshomaru started, his tone softening, "I'd never be mad at you. I've always known how deeply you yearned for a family of your own."

Moved by his brother's words, Inuyasha leapt out of bed, enveloping Sesshomaru in a heartfelt embrace, tears of joy streaming down his face.

From the doorway, a voice chimed in, "Did I overhear correctly? Is my pup expecting, or am I mistaken?"

"No, pack father, you heard right," Inuyasha confirmed. "I've been pregnant for seven weeks now."

"SEVEN WEEKS? Why was I kept in the dark? I'm your pack father, your alpha! We don't keep secrets from the pack!" Koga's voice grew more assertive.

"Please, understand pack father. I wanted to share the news, but as Scott mentioned, we chose to wait to be certain. Besides, Scott is my alpha now," Inuyasha retorted with a hint of defiance. "Regardless, I regret keeping this from you."

Koga took a deep breath, his anger subsiding. "I understand your reasons, pup. Just know I'm elated for you both and fully support your choices."

"Thank you, pack father. Your support means the world to me," Inuyasha replied, his voice tinged with gratitude.

Breaking the tender moment, Sesshomaru inquired, "When is the baby due?"

"That's our concern," Inuyasha admitted. "Given my unique heritage, half-human, half-demon, combined with Scott's werewolf genes, we're unsure about the gestation period."

"I see the predicament," Koga mused. "Nevertheless, you appear fatigued. You should rest after having something to eat."

Just as he mentioned food, Inuyasha's stomach growled audibly, drawing chuckles from everyone in the room.

"I'll handle this," Shippou offered. "Scott, you stay and tend to him. I'll prepare some remedies and meals my parents taught me, which might alleviate some of the pregnancy discomforts."

"Thank you, nephew," Scott responded, gratitude evident in his eyes. "Don't worry; I won't let him out of my sight."

After the revelation, everyone, except Scott, vacated the room, leaving Inuyasha to rest. Scott climbed into bed, creating a soft cradle with his lap for Inuyasha's head. Gently, Scott began to stroke Inuyasha's long silver hair with his clawed fingers, inducing a contented, growl-like purr from Inuyasha.

"Well, now that the news is out," Scott mused, "it won't be long before the entire castle buzzes with the update. You'll be the center of attention all over again, just like when you first arrived."

Inuyasha sighed, "Yes, but this time, I only want you waiting on me, not the servants."

Scott smiled warmly, "Anything for you, love. I'll always prioritize your well-being and care for you."

While engrossed in their conversation, the couple failed to notice the repeated knocking at their door.

"Come in!" called out Scott.

The door opened to reveal Shippou, wheeling in a cart laden with pregnancy remedies and foods he'd learned about from his father. Approaching the bed, he set down a tray of prenatal vitamins and herbs on the bedside table. Before leaving, Shippou tenderly kissed Inuyasha's forehead.

"Goodnight, uncle. Sweet dreams. Love you."

Inuyasha smiled, "Thanks, nephew. Goodnight, and love you too."

After Shippou's departure, Inuyasha repositioned himself to sit facing Scott in his lap, making it more convenient for Scott to feed him.

The following seven weeks followed a similar pattern. Scott catered to every need of his mate, ensuring Inuyasha was comfortable and well-taken care of. Most of the time, Inuyasha remained bedridden, only occasionally moving for bathroom breaks or showers.

By the end of the fourteenth week, Inuyasha's hormonal balance and overall health had stabilized, allowing him a much-awaited freedom to venture beyond the confines of their bedroom.

On the morning marking the start of the fifteenth week, after two months confined to the bedroom, Inuyasha was elated to finally venture out again. But upon waking, he noted Scott's absence from their shared bed.

With care, he rose from the bed to search for Scott. By the time he reached the dining room, having already looked everywhere else, a delightful sight greeted him. Scott, wearing just track shorts and an apron, was busily cooking and engaging with little Adrian.

Inuyasha leaned against the doorway, arms folded, contentedly observing the endearing scene before him. After about thirty minutes, when Scott finished his culinary tasks, he finally spotted Inuyasha.

"Hun, how long have you been standing there?"

"About an hour, watching the most heartwarming scene," Inuyasha replied. "But, why is Adrian with you? Shouldn't Koga be with him?"

"Koga had to attend to some family matters in his homeland," Scott explained. "Considering Adrian's tender age, it seemed imprudent to take him on such a lengthy trip."

"What about the twins?"

"They're out on a date with Shippou," Scott chuckled.

Inuyasha raised an eyebrow, "So, the twins finally made a move? How about Shippou's father and the twin's grandfather?"

"The twin's grandfather's still recuperating from his recent stroke, and Ethan is catching up on sleep after spending three nights going through paperwork. That left me in charge, especially with you still in deep slumber."

Inuyasha smirked, "So, essentially, we have the castle to ourselves for most of the day."

Scott corrected, "Almost. While Hojo and Ethan are asleep, your brother is in the library. He's been frequenting it quite a bit lately. Makes me wonder why."

"He's likely brushing up on the role of an advisor and other responsibilities for your sake. Now, how about the three of us enjoy this mouthwatering meal you've prepared? Once we're done, we can settle Adrian for his nap. When the twins return from their outing, perhaps you and I could have our own special date."

Raising an eyebrow, Scott inquired, "And what might you be suggesting?"

Inuyasha smirked, "That, my love, is for me to know and you to discover."

Sesshomaru cleared his throat, drawing their attention. "Don't you mean the four of us? I caught the scent of food from the library. I must admit, I'm quite hungry."

"We have plenty to share," Scott assured, glancing at Inuyasha for confirmation. Inuyasha nodded in agreement.

"However," Inuyasha began, leveling a playful gaze at his brother, "since you invited yourself, you're on cleanup duty. Plus, you'll need to put Adrian down for his nap."

Sesshomaru smirked, "Deal! Seems like a fair trade."

Inuyasha started to arrange the table settings, but Sesshomaru interjected, urging him to sit. "Let me handle this." With that, Scott placed Adrian in a highchair, and both he and Inuyasha took their seats, waiting patiently. Within minutes, Sesshomaru had efficiently set the table.

Before settling down himself, Sesshomaru dished out generous servings from the meal Scott had prepared, ensuring Adrian's portion was appropriately sized and cut into small pieces for easy consumption.

Handing out the plates, Sesshomaru finally sat down with his own. As the trio enjoyed their meal, the room was filled with the pleasant hum of conversation and the clinking of utensils. Once satiated, Scott and Inuyasha stood, expressing their gratitude to Sesshomaru for his assistance with the impending tasks.

Bidding a fond farewell, especially to young Adrian with a gentle kiss on the forehead, the couple departed the dining room and made their way to the sanctuary of their bedroom.

Once they arrived in their bedroom, they undressed each other, and kissed their way into the bathroom. Scott drew a hot bath for them, and together they seeped into the water, embracing each other to ease off the worries of the day.
