Kido, after the events of the anime, was suggested to write in a diary to vent out emotionally when she didn't want to talk to anyone else. even after the snakes plans were stopped, strange things had been happening and no one knows why. it's like reading her diary first hand with everything described from how they were seen, ranging from everyday life to the off happenings

Chapter 8: happy birthday Ayano

Date: 22nd November 20XX

Time: 10:30pm roughly

Dear diary

Myself, Seto and Kano had all collaborated together to get everything we needed to give big sister Ayano a surprise birthday party. Seto was in charge of decorating and Kano was in charge of distracting big sis while I got the snacks, drinks and birthday cake. Before I knew it, everyone had wanted to lend a hand. So Momo found good music and games to play, her big brother Shintaro found some good video games to play and Konoha made sure there was enough room for everyone. Hibiya was still too upset to help but lightened up once the surprise was done and the party got under way.

I can never forget that look on her face. She was even crying in joy when she saw everything put together, almost like she wasn't expecting us to make her birthday such a big deal. I think as well as for Seto and Kano, at the very least, her being born was important to everyone here. After a few games and even watching some movies Ayano grew tired and went to bed early. I cleaned up and Kano stayed up to help. Lately he's been offering to help more than usual, and it feels kind of warm of him to do so.
