9. the nightmare

Chapter 9: the nightmare

Date: 3rd December 20XX

Time: 4am

Dear diary

I awake abruptly from one of my worst nightmares, reliving my horrible and life changing event. The dream was my former life before being put into an adoption home, living with my big sister and the home being engulfed in searing flames. Everything about it felt so real that I couldn't help but scream as loud as I could. After shooting up as if I had ran, Kano was the first to burst into my room and saw me crying heavy tears. Kano comforted before everyone came to see, I didn't tell them what happened. Only it was a bad dream.
