Kido, after the events of the anime, was suggested to write in a diary to vent out emotionally when she didn't want to talk to anyone else. even after the snakes plans were stopped, strange things had been happening and no one knows why. it's like reading her diary first hand with everything described from how they were seen, ranging from everyday life to the off happenings

18. confronting Ene

Chapter 18: comforting Ene

Date: 15th January 20XX

Time: 9:50pm

Dear diary

Things are getting better, talked to Ene about the dream and she tells she keeps feeling that sensation of detachment from her body. I wouldn't worry and just pass it off as a phase, however the snake mentioned was like a shadow 11 days ago but the more days that passed the more her dreams showed that snake become more real. It changed to a full black snake and the coils have been continuing to feel more real for her.

I don't know what to do to make Ene feel more secure when going to sleep at night, I hope here dreams don't get worse. She talks to me and Ayano more than any of the others for talks that are this level of seriousness.

Kano has been more attentive to what I've been up to, I've been telling him how the search was going and how plans for the future are. He seems concerned and suggested that we walk in pairs, to ensure safety while out and about late at night. What he suggests makes sense but in exchanging safety were getting rid of covering twice the ground and double the leg work in the search. He seems to be overly protective lately, like he's hiding something.
