Kido, after the events of the anime, was suggested to write in a diary to vent out emotionally when she didn't want to talk to anyone else. even after the snakes plans were stopped, strange things had been happening and no one knows why. it's like reading her diary first hand with everything described from how they were seen, ranging from everyday life to the off happenings

Chapter 28: they are seen

Date: 15th march 20XX

Time: 10pm

Dear diary

Konoha was getting head aches more frequently and he says that each time he turns his head, he sees the same black snakes as the others before him. The mention of the black snakes makes me even more concerned, its like the whole world and these snakes are driving me into insanity. If it wasn't for Kano being by my side every step of the way through this, I think I would have already lost my mind. To the outside world, he would appear to be going on a rampage, but to people like us, we believe that what he was seeing was those same snakes trying to take him back into the void. That's his words, claiming that they would wrap around him and drag him into the shadows with him literally kicking and screaming.

Konoha seems happier that I won't let him stay by himself since this happened to him, Shintaro and Ene volunteered to stay by his side, even if they were getting annoyed that they had to keep introducing themselves to him. They understood that it was because of his abilities and that he felt threatened by those snakes. He doesn't want to go missing like Marie did and Momo even asked if Marie was taken by the snakes. It makes sense since she's the snake queen, but I hope that's not the case. Wherever she may be, whatever she might be doing, I hope that she's not in danger. All I could do was to make sure that Konoha had some pain killers while this all passed by quickly with as little issue as possible for his sake as much as ours.
