Greetings, my lovely reader.

So, I'm almost after every exam, my summer is about to begin, and I'm excited, about everything ;)).

"So, that's the entire story?"

"To summarize, yes."

Inside the clubhouse, which had in its center the oval table with the fireplace in the middle, behind the mentioned table sat Heather, surveying Hiccup as she strolled back and forth, occasionally glancing at the entrance of the room.

Over them, on one of the visible wooden bars lay Windshear, sleeping in the meantime while the two of them conversated. Squirming her eyes the black-haired woman clicked her tongue before loosening her straightened back.

"Honestly, I would never have believed it, if it weren't for the fact that I saw it with my own eyes," Heather admitted, cocking her brows in pretended disbelief. "I mean, turning into dragons, fighting an enormous one. That sounds like the story a father tells his child to scare them."

"Maybe, but it's real," Hiccup affirmed and shrugged, indifferently. "Very real, and traumatic," she grunted, hugging her forearms, before faking a smile, swaying on her feet. "Where are they?"

"Your friends? We may search for them, that's not a problem," Heather proposed, dispassionately.

"No, that's not the best idea. They must be lookin' for me, so movin' from one place to another; we might pass each other," Hiccup noted, but then pressed her teeth together, hissing. "Let's give them a few more minutes and we'll go track them."

"Sure," Heather agreed, nodding, and then gaped at Hiccup, questioningly. "Why are you so worried about them anyway?"

"I'm not worried," Hiccup snickered, but then, taking notice of Heather's lift of brow sighed. "Okay, maybe I am worried."

"About what?"

"Well, for sure not their safety," Hiccup giggled, loosening. "They're Vikings; they can take care of themselves," she clarified, and then, the startle crossed her face. "I'm worried about Toothless."

"Your dragon boyfriend, right?" Heather commented, grinning mysteriously, correcting her position on the chair, curious.

"I guess so," Hiccup confirmed, giving a half-smile. "The truth is that this mornin' I told him I was goin' for the short hike," she empathized, while her smile faded. "It's evenin', now. He must be really concerned."

"So what?" Heather snorted, rolling her eyes. "Come on, it's not a big deal! Only a few hours!"

"Well, he's rather overprotective."

"The only overprotective person here is you," Heather stated, sticking her eye at her. "Calm down. They'll be here, soon."

"I know, I know. I just hope they don't do anythin' stupid," Hiccup mumbled, biting on her fingernail. "For example, killin' Dagur, which Toothless is certainly capable of doin'."

"Yeah," Heather muttered, tapping her fingers on her knee. "But killing Dagur, is it really such a crime?"

Before Hiccup was able to react, the racket outside the clubhouse interrupted her, and while hearing it, the familiar voices, she groaned, stroking her forehead, simultaneously grinning at Heather, awkwardly.

"Can ya just shut the fuck up?!" Astrid boomed, and while she did, the clubhouse seemed to shake. "Seriously, yer gums flapping doesn't help anyone, quite the opposite, I'm certain it makes the air toxic!"

"Frig off! You fancy yourself as her best friend, and then, after just a few hours of searching, you just give up like the cunt you are!" Toothless bellowed, and the entrance door shook, making both Hiccup and Heather sure he had punched it. "For fucking sake, she might be hurt, tortured, even dead!"

"I take back my words," Heather whispered, pressing her lips together, and resisting her laughter. "He's bloody overprotective."

"Look, I won't be lookin' for her with everyone bein' so tired," Astrid said, irritated. "Let's take a break and resume our search in the mornin'."

"You want a break?!" Toothless barked, snorting offensively. "Sure! Go on! It was obvious, since the first day, that you will be worthless to us."

"Go to hell, and don't ya dare to ask me anymore for any help!"

"I won't ever! After your show of selfishness!"

"I am bein' selfish?! Seriously?! Me?!"

"Is this their normal behavior?" Heather asked, drawing her lower lip between her teeth.

"Unfortunately," Hiccup sighed, furrowing her brows at the entrance, behind which the argument continued.

"-whatever ya want! Nobody is keepin' ya here, neither will miss ya!" Astrid rasped.

"Very well! Just so you know, I'm really curious about what will she think when she hears that her supposed friend has her in the ass!" Toothless countered.

"The better question is what will she think when she hears that her supposed partner has everybody in the ass!" Astrid yapped, opening the door suddenly, but still glancing at Toothless to her side. "We'll see, who will find her faster! Me, after the rest or-," she stopped, once her eyes landed on Hiccup, who waved awkwardly.

"Please! You don't really expect that to happen!"

"Actually, I do," Astrid replied, smirking brightly, and making a space for Toothless to see the inside of the clubhouse.

"In that case, you're dumber than-," he paused just as he caught a glimpse of Hiccup and brightened. "Hiccup!" he called after her, before rushing toward her.

Immediately, the mentioned man wrapped his arms around her, lifting her off the ground and spinning her once before setting her back down. Toothless then cupped her face in both of his hands, worry evident on his face.

"Where have you been? What happened?!" he asked, examining every detail of her face.

"That's- that's a long story, actually," Hiccup explained, plastering a smile on her face.

"Are you okay?" he asked and fretted, running his finger on the wound at her chin. "What-,"

"It's just a scratch," Hiccup assured, gaping at his eyes as they surveyed her body, swiftly.

"What about this?" he questioned, gripping her hand and raising it, shoving her red wrists before her face.

"Bruise," she answered, noticing his concerned gaze. "Nothing serious," she took his hands in hers. "I'm fine, really."

"I was worried about you," he murmured, tilting his head at her. "Really worried. I thought something serious had happened."

"I heard," she replied, smiling brightly at him, "but I'm fine, as ya can see."

As a result, Toothless returned the favor, and his face lit up, before leaning over her and kissing her forehead. Afterward, he repeated the activity a couple of times, covering her face with kisses, from her temples towards her chin.

Hence, Hiccup giggled, unable to escape, due to his hold on her arms, which were tightly pressed against his sides, pulled there to reduce the distance between them. Eventually, their little moment was interrupted by Heather's loud clearing of her throat.

"Am I disturbing you?"

"As a matter of fact, yes," Toothless carped, halting his doings, although keeping Hiccup close to himself. "And you are?"

"Archnemesis of Dagur, Heather," she justified sticking her chest out, proudly.

"And who is Dagur?"

"The guy that," Hiccup hesitated and bit her bottom lip, hard, "that kidnapped me."

"Oh," Toothless blurted, blinking at Hiccup and then turning to Heather, impassively. "Welcome to the gathering of people I tolerate. Did you just say kidnapped?!" he shouted, cocking his brows at Hiccup as his face overtook fury.

"Toothless..." Hiccup whispered, averting his gaze.

"Gathering of people you tolerate?" Heather inquired, crossing her arms, offended.

"In his language, it's 'nice to meet you'. Also, it's quite an honor. Not even I am in that group," Astrid pointed out, stepping inside, leaning herself against the table, and then, extended her hand to Heather. "Astrid," she added and they shook hands. "Do ya think he's an asshole?"

"Obviously."

"Then, welcome to the gatherin' of people I call my friends."

"Okay, okay," Toothless interrupted, frowning and brimming with irritation. "We get it. I'm an asshole, dick. Great. Can we focus on the more important matter, like Hiccup, my Hiccup, being kidnapped, please?"

"Was that really Dagur, Dagur? The son of Oswald? The chief of Berserkers?" Astrid asked and Hiccup nodded, not hiding her concern over the quoted fact. "What was he doin' here?"

"Shortly, he came here to hunt, and I bumped into their camp," Hiccup responded, frowning at glaring at her Toothless. "What? I told ya I went for the hike."

"Okay, but couldn't you, maybe, go for somebody? For some help?" he reacted, stepping away from her and crossing his arms. "My whole head is screaming, ensuring me you didn't just bump into that camp, actually."

"I'm a big girl, Toothless. I can make my own decisions and I can take care of myself, don't ya think?" Hiccup warned, setting her jaw.

At the sight, he inhaled loudly, before responding. "Alright, I get it, but tell me honestly, do you think that decision, as I'm guessing, the attack on your own, was a smart move?" he inquired calmly, and Hiccup shook her head, defeated.

"Woah, hold on. Attack?" Astrid repeated, as her eyes widened. "Like, dragon attack? Does Dagur know-,"

"He doesn't know about...us," Hiccup murmured, pointing at herself and Toothless, "but he knows about dragons, on the Berk. I've told him about them."

"Oh, Hiccup," Astrid murmured, rubbing her forehead.

"Hey, but what's the problem?" Toothless rasped, scowling at Astrid as he sized her up. "The Berk shouldn't be ashamed of dragons, and neither should I or Hiccup of ourselves," he droned, resting his hand on the woman's neck. "We are dragons, and so what? Is it such a crime?"

Afterward, Toothless pulled her head against his neck, before kissing the top of her head, the hardened expression not leaving his face. Nodding, Hiccup stared somewhere into emptiness and closed her eyes, encircling her loosened arms around him.

Gritting her teeth, Astrid glanced at the ground, grunting. "Ye're right; ya shouldn't," she apologized and pursed her lips, feeling guilty. "Anyway, what do we want to do about Dagur?"

"Do we have to do somethin' about him?" Hiccup inquired, nuzzling her face against Toothless's shoulder, before straightening. "Let's just send my father the letter about the case, but other than that, I don't see any need."

"If ya insist," Astrid agreed, heaving a sigh.

Consequently, Hiccup gawked at her, smiling, and caught a glimpse of Heather just behind her back. The cited, black-haired woman was staring straight at her, scrutinizing her, before standing up, suddenly.

"Well, let's change the theme. Why don't we do something fun?" Heather suggested, clapping her hands together. "I mean, we barely met, so we could get to know each other," she remarked, and then, wrinkled her nose at Toothless. "Also, let's make it girls-only fun. I don't trust men."

"Where have ya been my whole life?" Astrid replied, grinning mockingly at Toothless, before ricocheting at Hiccup. "Are ya goin' with us?"

"I don't think so-,"

"Yes, she does."

Hiccup and Toothless both answered at once, before glancing at each other in surprise. Blinking at them, Astrid sniggered, while Heather raised her eyebrow at them, amused.

"Okay, so we'll leave you two alone to talk, and when you decide, let us know," Heather instructed and whistled loudly. "Come on, Windshear. Let's go."

Thus, the called dragoness, who had been resting on top of them the entire time, strengthened herself before jumping down and following her rider to the entrance. Rushing after them, Astrid glanced at Hiccup, pointed at the metal-like dragon grinning, and disappeared behind the wooden opening.

After that, Hiccup turned to Toothless, leaned her forearms on his shoulders, and gaped at him, troubled. "I thought ya would like me to stay after-,"

"Of course I want," he replied, resisting his hands on her hips, "but I also want you to do whatever you want, without the need to think about what I do."

"Ye're my priority, always," she whispered, curling the piece of his hair, while he beamed, weakly.

"I'm delighted, although, it's not a problem for me," Toothless remarked, nudging his fingers against her clothing. "If there is something I want, it's that you to enjoy-,"

Suddenly, he was interrupted when Hiccup crashed her lips into his, initiating the kiss. Immediately, Toothless returned it as they stepped closer together, deepening the contact.

Pausing the activity, to take a breath, Hiccup whimpered and whispered, "I love ya," and with that, she passed the judgment on herself of Toothless's reiterated kiss. Eventually, their lips broke apart, but their noses resisted by one another.

"I love you too," he muttered and kissed the tip of her nose. "You should go before they think that your asshole boyfriend doesn't want to let you go."

"Oh no, so that's the reason?" Hiccup commenced, leaning her head away from his.

"No," he crooned, nervously. "Maybe a little," he creaked, before sighing, won against, "but the reason I said about is the main one, I swear."

Gawking at him, Hiccup tilted her head and cupped his cheek with one of her hands. "Ya are not an asshole," she ensured, rubbing her finger on the skin under his eye, while he melted against her touch.

"Your past self would disagree with you."

"Maybe she would, but do ya know what's the difference between me and her?" Hiccup inquired, and Toothless shook his head, curious. "Experience. She hasn't gotten to know that amazin', adorable, and soft side of yers, yet."

"I would never ever think that somebody will call me, by any of it, but here I am," Toothless confessed, and beamed, brushing his lips against the skin of her fingers. "You should go."

"No," she objected, encircling her arms around his neck and hugging herself to him, tight. "Just a minute, please."

"Well, I'm not forcing you out of here," he chuckled as he embraced his arms around her middle. "I'm so relieved that you're okay."

"Here, I'm always okay," Hiccup declared, pressing her cheek into his chest before the sadness clouded her features. "Toothless, did ya really think that I could be dead?"

Tightening her hold on her, Toothless leaned his chin against the top of her head as he answered. "Well, such a thought crossed my mind, but I'm sure that was just stress."

"Okay, if that's what ya say," she mumbled, before gazing up at him, upset. "Are ya sure that ya don't want me to stay?"

"Go have fun with friends," Toothless insisted, smiling at her. "I'll be fine."

"Alright," she agreed and tiptoed, so their faces lost in the distance, "but if ya start feelin' otherwise, just come to us and get me, okay?"

"Okay, I will," he concurred, as the comfortable silence fell around them, while they connected their foreheads, relaxed in each other's arms.
