Hi everyone. As I've stated before, I don't normally leave notes like this but it has been months since I've updated and I felt you guys deserve dan explanation. I apologize profusely for the delay. I spent practically the entire month of August under the weather and that severely dampens my writings vibes. It zapped me of any motivation I had. August is really starting to turn into my sickly month...
After I posted the last chapter, I went on vacation and I hoped I would be able to write some. Unfortunately, I still had writer's block and only got a little bit written here and there. Then as I'm getting ready to go back to work, I start feeling unwell and had to go to the doctor. It took me 2-3 weeks to fully recover from that and it put a damper on things so I was not in the mood to write for a while. All I wanted to do was sleep (but I was still working and couldn't get the rest I needed). Then while my immune system was down, I caught a cold so I was completely exhausted. Afterwards, any inspiration I had was completely zapped and I l've had trouble getting my momentum again. So I barely wrote anything through the month of October. Especially since I had an appointment to get teeth pulled in November and ended up getting sick again right before that.
So I really do apologize. I had no intention of making you guys wait this long for an update. I'm slowly working on the last two chapters. Chapter 25 has been the hold up as I can't figure out the ending. Depending on how that ends, it may affect the next chapter and hold updates up even longer. My plan is to have this story finished by Christmas and my "editor" is helping me work through some of those issues. But we'll see what the future brings. In the meantime, know that this story is not abandoned and I am trying to get it finished.
