Nico: Whatever. A-Force only lasted like two weeks, and we only got together because the weird space girl told us to.

Marvel: Oh you poor dear, they must have brainwashed you to say those terrible lies. Don't worry, I'll get you hooked up with top quality deprogrammers. (Cap Marvel pinches Klara's cheek, Klara is annoyed, doesn't like it)
Molly: Stop pinching my friend's cheek!
(Molly slaps Cap Marvel's hand away)

Alex: Ho, nefarious evil doers, it is a good thing I've alerted the superhero community and law enforcement to your wicked deeds!

Marvel: Yes, it is good to have an old pro like Doc Justice on this case...By the way, did you lose weight?

Alex: Clearly the deep trauma that Nico has suffered from Murderworld has resurfaced. Its caused her to fly into a rampage of murder, kidnapping and demon worship. Her friends are just going along with it in some noble but misguided sense of loyalty. (closeup of Alex in the Doc Justice helmet) Clearly I must restrain Nico and have intimate one on one psychological sessions with her behind closed doors!
(Nico silently gives Alex an angry look)

Alex: And you probably cannot do that move again. You're feeling weak from the lack of human souls, aren't you Gib?

Gert: So this is your back up plan Alex? You lock us up o phony charges and you won't let us out until we join your new J-Team?
Nico: And you're probably still planning on killing Gib and taking his power?
Alex: Correct on both counts. And I would advise you against running away. I've put out a BOLO on both your vehicles.
Nico: Well then its sure a good thing I learned a teleportation spell.

Alex: Are you sure you want to mess with that fickle stuff Nico? Magic can have unintended consequences, and outside the staff you're just a novice.
Nico: Can it Alex! Everyone hold hands and form a circle. We all need physical contact in order for this spell to get us all out of here.
Gert: Wait, I have to go get something! (rushes out)
Nico: Gert, what are you doing!?

Gert: (coming back) Okay, I'm here, lets get out of here.
Victor: (looking up) Ahh! Cap is flying back already!

(Nico chants teleportation spell, they all zap out of there)
(Cap Marvel smashes the ground where they were seconds ago)

Molly: Ooh, where are we?
Gert: We're out of harm's way for now. That's what's important.
(Nico out of sorts, collapses unconscious)
Gert: Nico! What's wrong!?

(Nico awakes in a dark place within her soul)
The One: Doing true magic all on your own isn't so easy, is it Nico?
Nico: The One! How are you even here!? I gave Karolina the staff to get you away from me.
The One: Yes, but did you forget the deal you struck with me? Every time you used the staff, I would bleed into you. So that means a little bit of me resides inside you no matter where in the universe the staff is.
Nico: (angry) I'm going through a lot right now as it is. I don't need any harassment from you.

(The One fades away)

(Nico wakes up in the real world, screaming)

Klara: You're awake, thank God!
Molly: You were conked out for six hours we were worried about you.
Nico: I'll be okay. Its just...that spell had taken a lot out of me, I'm not used to this kind of spell casting yet. It will take time and practice.

Nico: Hey, where's Victor at?
Doombot: After two hours of waiting for your awakening, young master Mancha said he thought of something to get us funds, and left by himself.
Gert: What do you suppose Victor plans to do? Sell his body?
Klara: Gert! There's no way Victor would go so low as to become a prostitute.
Gert: No, I'm thinking more like he could sell his body parts. Come on, its funny.

Molly: Ahem, if you're wondering where our big green lug is, Old Lace is feeding him animal sacrifices just outside of this town.
(car honks offscreen, they all look)

Victor: Hey, do any of you lost souls need a lift?
Nico: Victor, what in the world?
Victor: (getting out of the van) I used my hacking abilities to redistribute a few thousand dollars from the bank account of some billionaire. He won't miss it.
Molly: Ha ha, awesome.
Doombot: Very resourceful of you.
Gert: May as well, if they aren't gonna pay taxes.
Klara: (upset) Victor, thats practically stealing.
Victor: I also redistributed an equal amount to charity.
Klara: (delighted) Ah well thats good then.

Nico: (upset) I don't want you getting too liberal with that hacking of yours...(gets really up close to his face) ...or shall I remind you of that time you got our beach house blown up because you downloaded music from the wrong place.
Victor: Oh yeah, that time...oof.
Nico: Yes Victor, "oof". Now lets get going. Even in the sticks its not a good idea to stay in one place for too long when you're running away from a murder charge.
(they start driving out of town)

Molly: So what's our plan? Driving around forever and living in a van doesn't sound very fun.
Nico: I used to have a few safehouses scattered across the country, but then I gave up because they were much too hard to finance.
Victor: We should probably leave the country. Mexico would be the best option.
Gert: Mexico?
Victor: Or Canada if you'd rather. But its farther away and we'd have to adapt to the blizzards and Jordan Peterson fans.

Nico: Sure, Mexico makes the most sense, you can be our translator. And superheroes seldom go down there, we'd be safe from their eyes.
Gib: Yes, we shall go to this Co of Mex.
Klara: Do you have any family there Victor? From your mother's side I mean.
Victor: No, mom never mentioned any relatives living in Mexico. And even if there were any, with out luck, they'd probably turn out to be evil or die.

Gert: So the Minoru women passed down the family name as well as the Staff of One? Woo, call out for the original girl bosses!
Nico: Honestly, the less you guys know about my family lineage, the better.
(Nico looks on, troubled by the One's warning)
