Gert: (looking concerned) Chase, thats...
Molly and Klara: (both excited and in unision) EEE! So cute!

Chase: Come on in and I'll show you the Jackrabbit's features. It can hop, fly and swim just as good as good as the Leapfrog. Its got camoflague for when we need to hide. And I was able to greatly condense the engines which allows for more seating space. There's even room for Gib to sit in this, if he comes back.
Molly: When Gib comes back, Chase.
Chase: Yeah, sure Mol. When.

Doombot: Very rudimentary weapons systems you have here. I could make a multitude of improvements. Allow us to be a force to be reckoned with.
Chase: No way, 'bot! If there's any adjustments on the Jackrabbit, it'll be by my hands.
(Gert looks troubled, thinking back on when her future self warned "bewar the Jackrabbit")

Chase: I'm feeling great, like I'm free and able to do anything I can put my mind to.
Gert: Able to do anything huh?...Like become a supervillain and take over the world?
Chase: No, I mean just being able to take care of the people I love as a family and build cool things for them. Why do you ask?
Gert: Oh no reason...
Molly: Buckle up Gert, I wanna see how this big bunny hops! (already in a seat)

(The Jackrabbit flies by scenery of lush farms and craggy mountains, some Mexican people look up)

Nico: Um, Chase, this is lovely and all, but is it really such a good idea to have all these people seeing the Jackrabbit?
Chase: I'm on it. Camoflague here we come!
(Chase presses a button, the Jackrabbit enters a stealth mode while in mid air, making it invisible to onlookers)

Molly: Now do some loop de loops! Or make the rabbit fly as fast as he can!
Victor: Hold on Molly, we don't have to be all that reckless all that once.
Gert: Maybe for now we can just settle for a nice seccluded beach.
Chase: Yeah, I'll get the Jackrabbit's navigation systems to find us some surf and sand...
(later on, the kids are sitting lat a beach with the Jackrabbit on the ground nearby)

Nico: (getting comfortable in the sun) Mmm! Karolina would love it here! Say Chase, do you think you could build us a space ship so we can find Karolina and bring her back?
Molly: And Xavin too?
Chase: For that, I'd need to have as much resources and manpower as Stark. So as I am right now...no dice.
Gert: We can leave space to the billionaires. But I would like to travel around the world. You guys got to see the freaking Savage Land without me.

Chase: We don't have to leave right now. We can stick around Mexico City for a month or two if we want to. But sooner or later we should blow this popsicle stand. Chase: The Tamayo cartel can spare some manpower to protect them. They've survived before they met us and they can manage after.
Nico: (gets up) Well, there's not a whole lot more we can do on this beach without any stuff. Shall we head back?

(the next day, the kids are working at the diner, its about 10:30 AM, so its a lull, only a few customers, Gert is at a laptop, Victor talking to a girl in the background)
Gert: Hey guys, get this. Alex has made the Throwaways his new J-Team. And the Los Angelos public has been recieving them rather warmly. People think that new J-Team is progressive and inclusive and all that jazz.
Nico: Hmmph, that's fine, they deserve each other.

Gert: The news also states that we've been acquited of the murder and kidnapping charge, Doc Alex claims it was a mistake.
Klara: that's great news!
CHase: Yeah, but I ain't gonna rush back to L.A.
Doombot: Let the treacherous Wilder lad have the polluted urban hellscape.
Molly: Hey, thats my homecity you're talking about, 'bot.
Doombot: Sigh, apologies Molly, Los Angelos is a very fine city indeed.

Nico: Ah, miss Rodriguez, you're early for your usual Luncheon.
Ms. Rodriguez: No, its not that! Its my husband Carlos, the Lithium mine he works at has been attacked!
Victor: (leaves the girl he was talking to) What happened?
Ms. Rodriguez: Carlos called me up, he said men in strange looking armor flew in and started firing laser blasts. then he was cut off and I'm so worried! I don't know any Avengers or X-men, but I know you kids have superpowers. Please help me!
Nico: Of course! We'll get right on it!

(The kids all flying in the Jackrabbit)
Chase: Great timing! We can now test out the fighting capabilities of the Jackrabbit.
Molly: Pat yourself on the back after we've rescued Carlos and the other miners.
Gert: Your first thoughts are of bloodshed. Very suppervillain-like of you, Chase.
Chase: Gert, what's gotten into you lately? Ahhh!
(A missile flies by the Jackrabbit)

(Victor and Nico climb out the Jackrabbit's door first)
Victor: The landing was less than ideal, but understandable considering we just dodged death.
(Some guys in armor on the hillside fire at the Jackrabbit)
Chase: Forcefields up!
(The Jackrabbit's forcefields activate)

(Victor shoots lightning, Nico fires spells at the armored men, the others start to exit the Jackrabbit)
(the armored men begin to retreat towards the Lithium mine behind the hills)
Armored trooper: Fall back, fall back!
Gert: Who do those cheap sci fi rejects work for?
Doombot: Judging from the shape and design of their armor, I'd say they originate from the People's Democratic Tyranny of China.

(Dragonfire and Cold Moon emerge from the top of the hillside)
Cold Moon: Interlopers! You dare impede the official business dealings of the CCP!
Dragonfire: Prepare to be incinerated by Dragonfire! (shoots fire)
Ice Moon: And be frozen and shattered by Ice Moon! (shoots ice)
Victor: Speaking in third person, I didn't realize people still did that.
Klara: Fire and ice? Yikes, my powers won't do any good here.
Nico: Klara, you can stay and guard the Jackrabbit. Gert and Old Lace will accompany you. The rest of us...

(Molly lifts a boulder)
Molly: Personally, my favorite element was earth. (Molly throws the boulder, Dragonfire and Ice Moon destroy the boulder causing a shower of debris)
(The kids flinch then look up, Dragonfire and Ice Moon are fleeing over the hilltop)
Nico: They're on the run, after them!
PAGE 21 (Nicvo, Chase, Victor, Molly and Doombot walk over the hill nearing the mine)
Nico: Last chance, leave this place, let the miners go, and we won't have to hurt you.
Cold Moon: Ha, look at you naive idiots, thinking yoursleves brave heroes saving the innocents.
(Cold Moon shoots ice at the kids)
Dragonfire: The only thing that matters in this world is power. And we serve the CCP, the greatest emerging superpower in the world!
(shoots fire at the kids)
(Victor blocks the fire with magnetized pieces of metal, Chase blasts away the ice)
Chase: Geez, whats your damage?

(Dragonfire, Ice Moon and the kids talk while fighting)
Dragonfire Sis and I were grown in a lab in China. We broke out and tried the hero gig.
Ice Moon: We even helped the Avengers thwart an attack from AIM. But then those ingrates forgot about us and left us to rot.
Dragonfire: So we went back to the People's Republic of China to do our little part in its rise to greatness.
Ice Moon: China will take what it wants, like this lithium.
Dragonfire: Soft headed bleeding hearts such as yourselves are mere obstacles to stomp to the ground!
