Karolina: Yes, we met at the asteroid that Majesdanean survivors gathered on. She's so sweet, and we've bonded over appreciating together in harmony...oh Nico, what's wrong?

The One: I'm I'm all flesh and blood now! No longer do I have to satisfy myself with the scraps allowed to me by uppity Minoru witches. Now I can build up a thrall army, carve out my own shogunate, and have pigs in a blanket every day!

Gert: He's not even acknowledging us, its like we're the buzzing of flies to him.

Karolina: Oh no, this can't be happening. I kept the staff away from Earth.
Gert: You know something about this Karolina?
Karolina: Nico's staff of one had an evil wizard man living in it. She was afraid he was taking over her soul, so Nico gave the staff to me so I'd keep it away. Didn't she tell you that?
Gert: No! No she didn't! (outraged)

Akila: My beloved Karolina, whats happened just now? It scares me.

(Alex drives back to Los Angeles)
