Bunny hid the last egg and watched as children looked happily for the eggs. He saw Jack up in a tree watching the children with a small smile on his face.

Still wrapping the thought of Jack almost getting married to what he could tell was beautiful woman. He felt bad about not letting Jack to him if and when he needed it. Like Jack, Bunny lost somebody he loved with all of his heart.

Soon the last kids found all the eggs and Bunny saw Jack jump out of the tree and sighed, "I know your there Bunny," Jack said looking at the bushes where Bunny was hiding.

Bunny came out of his hiding spot, "How did you know I was here?"

Jack only smirked, "I've been here before dawn. I like watching the children.

They stayed quit for awhile, "I got you something," Bunny said pulling something out of his pack he was carrying.

It looked like a pad of paper, but when Jack slowly he saw an unused sketch pad and a box of new charcoals, "Thanks, Bunny."

"The charcoal won't smudge on that paper," and handed Jack something else, "Ever guardian keep a journal Tooth, North, Sandy, and even me. I thank you should have one to."

The journal was brown leather and it had a black ink pen in a loop on top of the book, "The ink won't ever run out," Bunny pointed, "It help when we go through hard time."

"Thinks Bunny," Jack gave him a small smile, "I got some lemonade at my place. If you like you can come for a drink after a hard day's work," Jack sighed, "If you're done."

He knew Jack lived somewhere but where he was always curious, "I could use a cool drink."

Jack came to an old oak tree that had some Nods coming in a large hole , "Jack, your back," a young female who sat on a blue jay.

"Hi, Sumi, any trouble?" Jack asked the small female who hair was long and a light shade of blue.

"None. Who is your friend?"

"This is the Easter Bunny," Jack explained as he took in Bunny's face.

"A pleasure," Sumi smiled with a gentle nod.

Likewise," Bunny returned the small nod and followed Jack as he used his staff like a key to open the ground, "You live under the tree?"

"It's called the Oak of Sorrow. I don't know how it works but the tree takes all the sorrow and that it. It because of this tree I survived three hundred years alone. They walk down a long stairway, lit by blue crystals, into a leaving room.

It had a single shelf with odd and ins that Jack had collected. Some old books that look like they worn and ready to fall apart, the couch was worn as well with a homemade quilt with different shade of blue. There was a blue crystal that stood on for a lamp in the very corner of the room.

The stone floor was clean and scrubbed spotless, "Whoa," was all Bunny said.

"What?" Jack put the thing Bunny gave him on a round table that looked like it seen better days.

"Never picture this for you Jack. I mean you said you had a place, but I never thought it would look…"

"I know it's not much, but it's just me. I don't have miniature fairies, sentry egg, and thing like that."

"You have the Nods," Bunny pointed out.

"No they already live here before it became my home," Jack open up what must have been a fridge and two glasses out of a cupboard that was looked old and ready to fall apart.

The kitchen had a stove that might have been wood (it wasn't), There was another worn out table and a couple of wobbly table.

Jack handed Bunny a cup and took a drink of his own and sat on the couch and sighed, "What do you do after Easter?"

Bunny took a drink and was perfectly made, "I usually go back to the my warren and rest. The next day I go the pole and tell everybody how he went. We than usually have a meal nothing fancy."

"Sound nice," Jack look like he was working on an old music box, "You're a vegetarian."

"Yeah," Bunny saw him put the music back together, "What are working on?"

"Sophie dropped her music box and I told her I fix it for her," Jack wound it up and listened to it play 'Twinkle Little Star.'

"That pretty good," Bunny smiled at him.

"Just a messing a spring an easy fix," Jack smiled back, "I'll give back tomorrow. Jamie and Sophie are visiting their grandmother."

Jack sat back in an old creaking chair and closed his blue eyes, "Any problem in the warren?"

"No," Bunny finished his lemonade, "I did talk to Mother Nature about the General of Winter."

"How did that go?" Jack opened his eyes that looked tired.

"She was not happy with him, and she was shocked what you were able to do."

Jack shuged and got up, "Need anymore?"

"No, I'm good," Bunny told Jack as pick up the cups and took to clean them in the sink.

"Got something that might help so it won't happen again," Jack got a box, with a snowflake, off a shelf, "Here see if it helps," handed Bunny the box.

Bunny open the box to an ice egg that was beautifully carved, "Wow," Bunny picked it up and felt Jack's power flowing through it."

"Put in the river and it will keep it thawed ," Jack yawned that he tried to cover up, "Excuse me, had a blizzard to take care in the North Pole. It was strong one. I was worried that might break North's window.

"I let get some sleep. Thanks for the egg. See tomorrow," Bunny told and jack nodded.

"Later, Cottontail," Jack led Bunny out.
