Chapter 6 Reunion (Part 1)

Bunny got back to Standoff Claussen with Jack, who was burned and exhausted from fighting a fire spirit.

North saw Bunny helping Jack, "Jack, are you alright?" he asked with wide eyes.

"What do you think?" Jack looked at him slightly annoyed, "Where Flee?"

"She asleep and Tooth are with her," North told as Bunny helped to the infirmary fallowed by North.

"Hannah always been a hot head," Jack sighed as he sat on the bed, "Where Grim?" he looked at North with intense blue eyes.

"In globe room," Bunny wrapped Jack's ribs.

"You got two broken ribs, mate," Bunny told him, "and three cracked and first and second degree burns."

"Had worse," Jack mumbled under his breath where Only Bunny heard as Jack tried to get up as Bunny finished wrapping his ribs.

"Stay down, Jack," North told the winter spirit.

"North," Bunny shook his head to the globe room to see if Grim was looking at the globe.

She turned at looked at him, "You look like hell."

"Grim, who brought that hot head back from hell?" Jack kept his voice calm but flat.

North and Bunny followed but listened as Tooth and Sandy came in, and saw how cold his blue eyes were.

Grim looked at Jack unfazed but his look and voice gave the guardians the chills, "Who?" Jack asked again.

Grim's black eyes looked back at him and calmly said, "I don't know."

"Jack," a young voice came from behind Sandy and Tooth.

Jack's eyes turned gentle and his face softened. He slowly turned around and looked at his little sister, "Flee," he dropped his staff.

"Jack," she smiled and ran up to him and wrapped each other in a hug and cried softly.

When they calmed down she pulled back slightly, "What happened to you?" Flee asked looking at him, "We've been waiting for you?"

Jack closed his eyes liked he was in pain, "I was chosen to do something very important."

"You look different. Your hair, eyes, and what's with your shirt."

"Flee, it's been three hundred years," Jack informed her.

She looked at him, her eyes getting wide with disbelief and sniffed. "I missed you," she hugged him again, "we thought you were…"

"I know," she gave her a smirk and ruffled her hair.

"Jack," she shrieked with laughter as she fixed her hair.

The other watched Jack with the little girl and smiled, "Jack," got the younger guardian attentions, "Maybe introduction is in order."

"Of course," Jack stood on and his sister never let go of his cool pale hands.

Everybody this Mary, my little sister, I'm the only one who calls her Flee," he smiled, "Flee, this is North you might know him as Santa Clause, Toothiana, or the Tooth Fairy, and you met Bunny, this golden fellow is Sandy…"

"The Sandman," Mary said happily.

Jack smirked at his sister, "You got it."

North looked at the little girl who clinked to Jack's hand and realized why Jack was so good with children, and maybe how he became the spirit of winter.

"Jack," Grim voice came into the room and Jack pulled Flee closer to him, "Peter has informed me that your family will stay with you till they find out how they were ripped from the heavens."

"Guess you're stuck with me," Flee smirked up at Jack.

"Is there anything wrong with that?" Jack smiled back, "Do me a favor, can you go with Bunny while I talk to Grim.

Jack found North and Bunny in the common room, and saw Flee playing checkers with North and was winning, "I should have warn you, North she rules at checkers."

"How is she at chess?" North asked as Mary finally took the last of his checkers.

"North, when it comes to board games she will bet you every time. I taught her to well," Jack sat down on the floor and looked at her, "You thing you can go easy on my friend."

"No," Flee stated, "He challenged me. I play to win."

"What happened to having fun," Jack raised an eyebrow.

The guardians watched as Jack set the checkers board up. Bunny saw an older brother playing with his sister and reteaching his sister how to have fun as teased her during the game. North saw a caring brother who would do anything for his family."

Tooth and Sandy had already left to take care of business but they already knew that guardian was through and though.

Flee yawned softly, "Sleepy, Flee," Jack asked her, and got a nod.
