Rose laughed teasingly while pointing at the Doctors short brown hair which was covered in yellowish brown alien goo. "There's still little bits of goo in your hair."

the Doctor was taken aback. "What?" He said before digging in his leather jacket pocket and pulling out a small hand held mirror. "Oh great that's just fantastic, just what I needed today." He said frustrated which caused Rose to giggle again.

"We'll maybe you shouldn't have gone and soniced the alien queen." Rose said.

"It wasn't my fault if you hadn't put it on the wrong setting I wouldn't be in this mess." He sighed as he noticed a glob of goo on the back of his head. "Blimey I'm never going to be able to get this all out."

Previous they were on a adventure involving a alien goo queen who attempted to harvest humanity as host for her larva and when she had refused the Doctors many warnings he decided enough was enough and calibrated his sonic to a frequency that can completely liquify and destroy Tranodian cells which is the name of the alien species. But Rose had accidentally turned up the frequency and thus the alien goo queen violently and messily exploded all over the Doctors face instead of dissolving into a puddle.

"And this is right here is why don't trust stupid little humans with my sonic." The doctor complained but it was obvious he didn't mean what he said.

"Im sorry, but you have to admit it was at least a bit funny right?" Rose said playfully.

The Doctor took one last glance at his hair threw the mirror before he began to make his way towards the TARDIS corridors. "Tell that to my hair." He said as he was walking.

Once he disappeared fully from sight Rose whispered under her breath. "It's not like you have very much anyway."

The TARDIS dinged in agreement.

A few moments later and the Doctor comes back with his head slightly wet and his hair clean. "So Rose Taylor where to next?" He said enthusiastically and with a grin.

"Y'know, we haven't visited the past in a while that could be fun."

"Alright to the past it is." He Doctor said as he began to run around the console clicking and flipping buttons and levers. "How far should we go? 100 years maybe? Or maybe you wanna go a bit further this time how does traveling 50000 years in the past sound to you?"

Rose gave him the same grin she always does. "Sounds good to me." She said.

The TARDIS started its familiar groaning and wheezing until a large explosion erupted out of the console launching the Doctor backwards resulting in him crashing hard into the floor. While Rose nearly tripped but stopped when she grabbed onto the TARDIS railing.

The Doctor quickly rose to his feet and rushed towards the console. The usually lighting has turned a bright red color and the TARDIS sounded like it was severely struggling while it's coister bells loudly erupted throughout the room. "Oh no! No! no! no!" The doctor shouted as he ran towards the console. He turned around to face Rose. "Rose are you alright?!" He shouted.

"I'm fine! What's goin on with the TARDIS?!" She shouted over the bells.

"Wh- how. Oh that's just fantastic!!!" The Doctor shouted in anger.

"Whats wrong?!" Rose shouted.

"The vortex it's just gone but it's impossible this shouldn't ever happen!!!" The Doctor shouted.

Then all the lights shut off instantly leaving them in almost pitch dark.

"She's perished..." The Doctor said with wide and sorrowful eyes.

Rose made her way to the console. "You can fix it right?" She asked.

"There's nothing to fix, she's dead." The Doctor said as he clicked a few buttons but nothing happened. "The last TARDIS in the universe... Extinct"

The Doctor turned to face Rose. "I'm so sorry Rose, I promised your mum I would keep you safe but there's nothing I can do we're going to be trapped here for all eternity."

"What do you mean? Can't we get help we had to have landed somewhere." Rose said.

"Im sorry but no we fell out of the vortex into the void into nothingness nobody can help us now." The Doctor said sorrowfully.

"Well there's got be something outside those doors." Rose said desperately as she started walking towards the door.

"You'd be wasting your time, nothing exists outside those doors." The Doctor said.

"Doctor we're back on earth in some sorta city." Rose said with a relieved smile.

"What? Back on earth that's impossible." The Doctor said as he quickly jogged towards the door.

Once he did he opened the door and gazed upon his surroundings. "New York? How did we end up here all of places?" He said confused before stepping out followed by Rose.

They appeared to have landed in front of a restaurant by a street with many large buildings.

"I'd say it's better then being trapped for all eternity, but I wonder what year we're in." Rose said.

The Doctor walked out and gazed about his surroundings. "2019." The Doctor said with sadness and confusion in his voice.

"Blimey, I should be around 32." Rose said before she noticed the Doctor deep in thought. "What's wrong?" She asked concerned.

"it just makes no sense, the vortex disappears then TARDIS dies but if we're still on Earth then what possibly could have killed her." The Doctor said before heading back into the TARDIS with Rose.

He walked to the console and began clicking various buttons but each time it did nothing. "Come on old girl." The Doctor said while rubbing the console affectionately.

Rose was watching closely behind until she noticed a barely noticeable faint glow from underneath the metal platform. "Doctor what's that light?" She asked.

The Doctor's face regained hope and he snapped her head in her direction. "Where?" He asked and she pointed in its direction. "Oh please let us be lucky." He said as he ran towards the light and lifted up a part of the metal platform that the console rests on. He reached in and pulled out a small glowing green light. "Oh brilliant Rose we got power!!!" He yelled triumphantly.

"Wait she's alive?" Rose said with a hopeful grin.

"Just barely hanging on to life but don't worry we can recharge her." He said before blowing a yellow energy out of his mouth onto the crystal. "It all makes sense now we didn't fall into the void because we were sucked into a parallel universe and the TARDIS can't function outside of ours so coming here nearly killed her."

"How are you going to recharge her outside our universe then?" Rose asked.

"Simple, she needed energy from our universe so I gave her some of mine although doing that has cost me about 10 years of my life worth every drop." The Doctor said.

"What? Ten years Doctor 'S to much." Rose said concerned.

"Oh trust me I've lived long enough already and besides I did promise your mum I would bring you back safe didn't I? The Doctor said reassuringly.

"You did, but ten years is a long time to just throw away." Rose said.

"I'm not just throwing it away I'm sacrificing it so we can get back home and besides ten years Is nothing for me." The Doctor said with a reassuring smile.

"Alright if you say so." Rose said skeptically before changing the subject. "Anyway when is she going to be ready?"

"Around 24 hours i'd say that's long enough to have a quick look around what do you think? The Doctor said.

Rose gave him a massive Tonge to teeth grin before responding. "Exploring a parawell universe, sounds amazing." She said cheerfully.

The Doctor smiled warmly before grabbing her hand and leading her outside into the street of this universes New York.

"Eh, well so far it looks quite a bit like the New York back home." The Doctor said while gazing around his surroundings.

"Maybe it's exactly the same." Rose said.

The Doctor frowned slightly. "Now wouldn't that be disappointing although I doubt its exactly the same." He said while walking with his hands in his old worn leather jacket pockets.

As they turned a corner they saw a young couple couple walking down the sidewalk.

"Dude I had to ask you out." A random women said.

"Well excuse me for waiting. You ever hear of chivalry?" A random man said.

"Aw Doctor they look so cute together." Rose said only loud enough for the Doctor to hear.

"I suppose so." The Doctor said simply before having an idea. "Hey Rose how about we go find something to eat there was this really good pizza place I use to visit I wonder if it exists here."

"As long as your paying, I'm a little short on cash considering I don't have a job anymore." Rose said.

"Of course my treat." The Doctor said with a cheerful smile.

"Listen, this is about you getting what you deserve." The woman said. "I'm killing myself in school because I think it's gonna be worth it for both of us. You know, if we move in together." She said as she stopped walking one step off the curb of the sidewalk.

"Wait, what? What? W-W-Wait. Hey, hey, hey. What was that?" The man said as he stopped in front of her. "What'd you just say?"

The Doctor and Rose passed by them.

"Well, I mean, we can't keep, you know, laying pipe at your dads place. Trying to be all quiet. Staring up at that dumb Billy Joel post-" She was cutoff by his lips and they began to make out.

Rose giggled when they mentioned the laying of the pipe and when they kissed she grow a happy smile. But the Doctor immediately stopped walking and put his arm in front of Rose to stop her.

"Something's wrong... I can feel it." The Doctor said with a face full of concern as he turned around to face the young couple.

The man noticed this. "Um, hey is everything alright?" He asked The Doctor.

The women turned away from her lover and looked towards the Doctor.

"Look out!" the Doctor shouted, gesturing towards the sidewalk. But it was too late. Before Robin could even react, A man dressed in a blue superhero costume ran through her like a bullet, turning her into a bloody mess. Some of her blood splattered on her lovers face.

"Robin?" The man asked, his voice broken.

Rose gasped, her hand covering her mouth. "What just happened to that poor girl?" she said, shocked.

They all looked at the killer accusingly.

"What the hell have you done?!" the Doctor shouted, his anger evident. He felt his blood boil as he saw Hughie looking down, still holding Robin's hands. "Robin!!!" Hughie screamed.

"I can't stop! I can't stop!" The murder said rapidly before running off with an orange duffel bag.

"That was an actual real life superhero, from one of those comics. But Why did he kill that innocent girl?" Rose said in fear and shock.

"That man is no hero." The Doctor said with malice.

The Doctor rushed towards the tramatized man. "I'm so sorry. I tried to warn you, but I was too late. I promise you, I will find a way to bring that man to justice. But right now, I need you to tell me if you know who he was and how he acquired those abilities." The Doctor placed a comforting hand on his shoulder.

The man stared blankly at the Doctor, a mixture of shock and confusion on his face.

"Doctor his girlfriend just died right in front of him. He's not in any condition to answer questions," Rose said, her voice filled with empathy.

The Doctor sighed, releasing him from his grip. "What do you suggest we do then?" he asked.

"We should contact the authorities in this world and then take him back home, wherever that 'S." Rose said.

"Alright, let's do that," the Doctor agreed, turning towards the man again. "Do you have a phone we could use?"

He said nothing, lazily grabbing his phone from his pocket and handing it to the Doctor.

The Doctor quickly dialed 911. "Hello, yes, I would like to report the murder of a young woman."

"Is the killer still in the area?" a female operator asked.

"No, he ran off like a speeding bullet, but the woman's boyfriend was here when it happened, and he's not in a good state," the Doctor explained.

"A speeding bullet? Are you saying the killer was a supe?" The operator asked.

"A Supe? Never heard of them." The Doctor said.

"You must not be from around here, I'm sure you could find any information you need about them on the internet. Anyways is the boyfriend still with you?" The woman asked.

"Yes he is, but he appears to be in shock." The Doctor answered.

"Okay just give me your location and I'll send a officer over to better assess the situation." The operator said.

And so after the Doctor told them the name of a nearby store a officer came over and the Doctor and Rose told him what they witnessed. Then a ambulance came into the scene to check Hughie for any injuries and when they found none he was escorted home. Since the street was now a crime scene Rose and The Doctor decided to head back to the TARDIS for now and possibly do some research about Supes.

"That was horrible Doctor..." Rose said dreadfully while setting on the TARDIS pilot seat. She couldn't stop thinking about the poor innocent women exploding into pieces everywhere.

The Doctor sighed heavily while leaning against a coral pillar. "I know Rose, it was a terrible thing to witness. But rest assured I will make that man pay I promise you." He said with determination.

"But how do we even begin to fight against real life super hero's. They have bloody super powers for crying out loud!" Rose said.

"Powers or no powers it won't make a difference, I'll stop them either way but first things first we need to gather information." The Doctor said before clicking a grey button on the console.

"Fortunately for us the TARDIS is able to scan and copy all books in a 50 mile radius and automatically sort them in the library." The Doctor said with a smug smile.

"Blimey is there anything she can't do?" Rose said impressed.

"Nothing worth mentioning, anyway I'll be back in a second don't touch anything." The Doctor said before swiping a lever causing the wall to reveal a hidden hallway in which he disappeared into.

Around ten minutes later the Doctor reappeared in the console room with a enthusiastic smile. "Sorry if I took to long I just read around 53 different books about Vought and there supes."

"You read 53 different books in only 9 or 10 minutes?" Rose asked in awe.

"Yeah, I'll admit it's not my best time anyway I've discovered that supes in this world are managed by a company called Vought founded by Fredrick Vought a man whom I actually met back in are world." The Doctor said the last but with a concerned and serious face.

"Is that bad?" Rose asked seeing the Doctors face.

"Very much so in fact back in our world he was actually a Nazi appointed by Hitler himself as chief physician at a concentration camp back in 1939 where they experimented on people with a strange alien serum, luckily I was able to put a stop to it. But unfortunately I probably don't exist in this world so there was nobody to stop them." The Doctor said the last part with sadness evident in his voice.

"Are you saying they used that serum to make superhero's in this world?" Rose asked.

"It's possible, but I don't know for sure because in our world all the experiments failed. Although there is one way to find out." The Doctor said with a mischievous grin that Rose returned.

"And what that?" Rose asked.

"We're going to infiltrate Vought tower." The Doctor said as he flicked a lever making the hallway appear again. After walking into the hallway the Doctor and Rose made there way to the Tardis garage were they hopped onto a jet black 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

One bike ride later...

As they entered the tower they were surprised to see several armed guards on the second floor indoor balcony closely watching the entrance.

"Awfull lot of security for a superhero company isn't it?" Rose said quietly.

"Makes me wonder..." The Doctor said lost in thought.

Rose noticed the Doctors odd look on his face. "Is everything alright?" She asked.

"Vought may present themselves as a superhero company but there's something really dark hidden beneath the surface that there trying to hide and we are going to find out what." He said in a whisper.

Rose nodded in agreement not wanting to speak to much to avoid suspicion.

They continued into the building and there path was stopped by several metal detectors and guards. When the Doctor and Rose walked through the detectors began to beep.

They attempted to continue but were stopped by a guard. "Please empty your pockets before continuing." A guard with a name tag that read Derek said.

They both obliged and the Doctor sat his Sonic in a metal tray while Rose put her phone in the same tray.

"What's with the metal rod?" Derak asked.

"Oh this?" The Doctor asked while holding it up. "It's nothing to worry about just a scientific instrument." He said nonchalantly.

The guard gave him a weird look. "Scientific instrument huh? Are you implying your a scientist here?"

"Yeah, Doctor John smith and this here is my assistant." The Doctor said before pulling out his psychic paper and pointing towards Rose who innocently smiled and said. "Hello."

The man looked skeptical. "Hmm, alright then carry on."

The Doctor and Rose nodded, grateful that their cover had worked. They continued through the metal detectors and made their way deeper into the tower. As they walked, they couldn't help but notice the sleek and modern design of the building, with large glass windows offering a view of the city below.

"I can't believe that worked, you gotta get me one of those sometime." Rose said with a smile.

"I'll tell you what, once we get back home I'll make sure to get you one." The Doctor said with a cheerful smile.

As they reached an elevator and stepped inside, with the doors closing behind them. The Doctor pressed a button, and the elevator began its descent. As they descended, the Doctor pulled out his sonic screwdriver and began scanning the elevator walls.

"What are you looking for?" Rose asked, curiosity evident in her voice.

"Hidden cameras, listening devices, anything that could be used to spy on us," the Doctor replied, his eyes focused on the sonic's readings. "We can't afford to be caught off guard."

The elevator doors opened, revealing a corridor filled with offices and cubicles. The Doctor and Rose discreetly made their way through the busy area, blending in with the employees. They overheard snippets of conversations about superhero missions and corporate secrets, further fueling their suspicions.

Finally, they reached a door marked "Restricted Access." The Doctor pulled out his psychic paper once again, this time showing it to a security guard stationed nearby.

"We need access to this room for an urgent investigation," the Doctor said, his voice filled with authority.

The guard glanced at the psychic paper, his expression changing from skepticism to compliance. "Right away, sir," he said, unlocking the door for them.

As they entered the room, the Doctor and Rose were met with rows of computer screens displaying various data. It was clear that this was where Vought kept their most sensitive information.

The Doctor quickly got to work, hacking into the system with his sonic screwdriver. Rose watched in awe as he effortlessly bypassed security protocols, his fingers dancing across the keyboard.

"Looks like I was right Rose," the Doctor said, a hint of disappointment in his voice. "Vought has been experimenting on their superheroes, pumping them will that serum that they call compound V when they were just baby's and playing it off as one of gods miracles."

Rose's eyes widened in shock. "That's horrible, who in there right mind would inject baby's with that stuff, it can't be safe."

The Doctor nodded grimly. "It really isn't there's a decently high chance the baby's body rejects it. And it's not just the superheroes. Vought has been involved in some shady dealings, manipulating governments and covering up their tracks."

"If only I could get my hands on a sample of the computer V, then maybe I could reverse the effects it has in the supes." The Doctor said as he tried to discover were they keep it.

Just as he was about to find its location an alarm blared throughout the building. The Doctor and Rose exchanged worried glances.

"We've been discovered," the Doctor said, his voice filled with urgency. "We need to get out of here, Rose."

They quickly made their way back through the corridor, dodging security guards and employees who were now on high alert. With their hearts pounding, they reached the elevator and pressed the button, praying for a quick escape.

As the elevator doors closed, the Doctor and Rose shared a knowing look. They may not have exposed Vought to the public just yet, but they had uncovered the truth. And with that knowledge, they were determined to bring justice to those who had been wronged.

I'm still relatively new to writing I'm sorry if I butchered the Ninth Doctor and Rose I'm better at writing with the Tenth but not by much if you see any out of character dialogue or have any ideas for how I could improve this story please tell me
