It was another long night of studying English for Paige.
'Man, why do I have to have this many notes? Ugh, this will take all night. I'll forget about half of what I study by morning and Ill get an F or barely pass! I'm so dead!' She anxiously thought.
Then Peter came to her with a bowl of soup.
'Thanks, but I didn't ask for this.' She said, surprised by his kind gesture.
'I figured that you could use something relaxing to put your mind at ease.' He replied.
'There's nothing suspicious in here, right? Jason didn't bribe you to make this?'
'Nope, not at all.'
Paige was very surprised. Usually her brother was only nice to her if he was forced to.
'Well, thank you very much for ths kind gesture. You're a good brother.' She said in gratitude.
Peter smiled back.
As it would turn out, Peter would use his kind gesture as a way to get Paige to help him with his hard-to-do homework in the future.
