Chapter 3: Return To The World of Magic

Season 1 Episode 3: Return To The World of Magic

Earth 5: Sherman

Ultra Tower

After their first formal mission, the Ultra Legion realized that group training exercises in the chamber created especially for that purpose were necessary to avert any such calamities. The major goal of this relocation was to teach the squad how to work more closely as a unit in order to successfully accomplish additional training environment was now configured to a city location, and Lance was flying as Manus while Rex was next to him using a Boogie Pack and Jenny had jetpack wings. He was wearing goggles and could see the streets below through them. Rex replied in an uninterested voice, "Still no sign of the target." "We've looked all over and we haven't heard a peep. Though you said your tracker was top notch."

Lance insisted, "It is." "In this sort of environment, there is a lot of ground for him to use for a hiding spot. But, the intel we got indicates that it's about a few miles due South."

"Or maybe that intel was bogus." Rex said.

"Intel is never wrong. Especially mine." Lance replied.

"First time for everything." Jenny said.

Since she was so near to both of them, it was difficult for Jenny to shut out their loud arguments, so she decided to phone someone. Jenny sighed as she tried to do so. "Marco, are you and the others in position?"

"Yeah. Just waiting on your word. How are things on your end?"

She simply could not help but roll her eyes. She then heard a quick beeping coming from the Manus armor, "other than Rex and Lance going at it, just swell." "Did we grab a bite?"

The corporal informed him, "About way down there. Rex, you should call to tell him that we found the location."

"Yeah, sure. I'll get right on that..."

The setting in question was a gigantic stadium, where nobody else seemed to be there save those three. "Congrats, Lance. I think you got us here just in time before the next quarter." Rex said.

Lance commanded Rex and Jenny to be quiet, "Shh." Lance and Jenny had to take the defense after hearing rumbling from the ground, at which point laser turrets appeared out of nowhere and started shooting at them. The only one who didn't was their fellow countryman, Rex, who chose to use the BFS on the right arm to cut through one turret while using the Smack Hand on the left to shatter another. While Jenny grew many blades on her hand and hurled them like boomerangs into the holes of the turrets, causing them to burst in on themselves, Lance soared to the air and fired pod missiles that destroyed additional turrets. "All clear."

"Was that it? I thought Kim set the danger level on high." Rex said. Then other computer-generated S.A.R.C. warriors suddenly appeared out of nowhere and began firing their blaster guns erratically. However, just then, a rainbow beam struck, and from the skies came none other than Ben Tennyson swooping in as his alien form Chromastone. "Hey there, boss. Nice for you to come to the party." Rex said.

Ben said, blasting one warrior into bytes and data, "Would've come in earlier if you'd care to tell me where you went off to."

Lance heard it and was instantly furious with Rex. "Wait a minute, Rex, you say you called him!"

Rex stated as he retracted both of his machines to form the Slam Cannon and started loading up a lot of ammo to return fire. "I said I'd call, didn't say when. I was actually thinking of doing that maybe after we finished with these dummies."

Jenny reminded him, "That wasn't intended, Rex."

Ben gave a head shake. "Forget it, just call for reinforcements."

In accordance with his request, Jenny phoned Marco to inform him that it was time to step in. A dimensional gateway then opened, allowing Danny Phantom Marco and Ladybug to enter and offer assistance. He shot a beam that could freeze anyone, stopping all of them where they were, and said, "Cool off, losers!"

Then rolls over to swipe his luge under one's foot and cuts open a portal for him to fall in, leading to a nearby roof and it breaks into bytes and code. "Now, let's hurry up and help them out," Marco said as he used his daggers to create multiple portals that also had a secondary use as shields since the laser fire went in them, leaving him unharmed.

As they shot at her, Ladybug twirled her Yo-Yo to use it as a shield. She then grabbed one of the attackers' arms and tugged, causing him to mistakenly aim and shoot at one of her own. Instead of stopping at just one, she caused the one she was in charge of to fire several times, leaving behind a significant amount of pixel residue. Eventually, she managed to capture them all. With a hand on her hip, she swirled her Yo-Yo and said, "There. Not too shabby."

However, it wasn't quite over yet. The seats in the grandstand sprang apart to expose concealed missile launchers that immediately took off and were aimed towards the team. Marco yelled, "Incoming!" When Jenny raised her right metal arm in response, it opened up, two pincers and an electric generator appeared, and it was charged with many electric blasts that destroyed the missiles. She then peered into the announcer's box with her in-built x-ray vision and identified the team's main target. She yelled to the rest of her team, "Guys! I see the target over there!" as she pointed.

Rex leapt high with the Punk Busters and landed on top of the announcer's box, then used the Bad Axes to chop the box open, revealing the previous buyer. "Cool. Hang back, guys, I got this." Rex said. He didn't see him play with his sleeve, but said, "Easy as pie."

But Ben saw this. He said to Rex, "Rex, wait!" before speaking to Rex.

"Now, you're-" but before Rex could celebrate, the buyer had exposed a concealed blaster and taken aim. A single blaster shot was fired, striking Rex square in the chest. He remained still for a moment before groaning in disappointment. "Dang it!"

"SIMULATION FAILED."

The training came to a conclusion and was a failure as the entire environment quickly vanished in a holographic manner. From the observation post, where she and the others had seen the practice, Kim Possible commented, "Good try, guys." "But, you missed it by just a second. Especially you, Rex."

Rex was unable to do anything but moan as the rest of the squad waited for their arrival on the deck after exiting the training area. As Ben delivered some engine oil to Jenny, who was in need of some refreshments to re energize, Ben said, "Okay, can anyone care to point out what went wrong?"

Lance pointed to the only one of them who could create machines from his very nature, "I'll tell you what went wrong, some people chose not to adhere to the initial plan."

Rex raised his hands. "Oh no, guys. Watch out. Lance's on the warpath."

Lance said, now willing to deal with his arrogant attitude, "Be serious! Not only did you not contact our team leader like you were supposed to, additionally you decided to take on the target without backup which would've ended terribly for you if this were a real life battlefield scenario."

"Hey, how was I supposed to know the guy was hiding some heat? It's difficult to see anything in that cloak." Rex countered.

Ashi said, "That's not the point, Rex. The point of this exercise was to attack him with someone providing support to you, not so you can take care of the issue on your own. You must keep in mind that you're not the only one fighting."

He grinned a little. He mumbled, recalling how much of a lone wolf he had been on the previous trip, "Try telling that to Lance."

"In fairness, Rex does have a point in his defense about not being certain of the buyer having a hidden firearm within his person." Octus made the point. It is now difficult to determine the type of countermeasures he might employ because, among other unsolved problems, we still do not know who he is.

Hey, Penn," Randy said as he turned to see his red-haired pal. "You said you were able to cut the guy a little, didn't you? You mentioned that your weapon was stained with some disgusting purple blood."

"Yeah, but the most peculiar thing occurred. Penn snapped his fingers, "So, we're pretty much back to square one. It dried up just like that."

"Not to add further bad news, but we also don't know what that third piece of alien tech they used to fuse it with Galalunian and Novatron tech," June added.

Ilana cast a small guilty glance her way. Truth be told, she, Lance, and Octus are the only ones who actually know what it was, but her bodyguard urged them not to tell the others. It wasn't because they didn't trust them—with the possible exception of Lance—but rather because they didn't want to deal with the prospect of his return given everything they had to deal with due to him. Despite this, she didn't enjoy having to keep secrets from her new pals. She attempted to cheer them up by saying, "Well, let's not look at this as a failure. Let's simply think of this as an opportunity to motivate ourselves to do better."

Marinette grinned. "Ilana's right. I actually felt better than I ever did after that practice."

Her masked companion offered with a seductive smile, slinging his arm around her shoulder with a giggle, "Then how about you and I take the next exercise? Alone." She took the arm away and stepped away.

It was a beautiful manner of her turning down the offer, "And that's a very attractive offer, kitty cat. But, I just recalled, I made plans to train with Aang, Manny, Ron, and Sashi later."

The aforementioned individuals said in shock, "We did?"

Through gritted teeth, Marinette said, "Yes." "Don't you remember?"

First to understand what Marinette meant, Sashi rolled her eyes and shook her head. She joined in with her little ruse, saying, "Oh, right. I completely forgot. Aang Ron, Manny, and I promised to train with you, Ladybug."

Rufus tapped Ron on the head, and Ron looked contemplative. "You sure, Sashi? Because, perhaps I'd remember making a promise like that." "Okay, you're absolutely right, buddy. I do sometimes forget a lot of stuff. Similar to this one time in freshman year when Mr. Barkin told us about not bringing food into the science lab. But, at the time, I was in need of some early munching before lunch, so I might've sneaked in some nachos and well, long story short, you should never attempt to mix nachos with dangerous science-y stuff." That resulted in a few odd looks. "I'm serious. It's an important life lesson."

Ladybug urged him, "Just say yes, Ron," and gave Ladybug a look that said, "You owe me."

The Ultra Legion leader rubbed his hand through his brown hair that had green stripes in it. "Okay. Everyone, that's enough for today. Take this opportunity to unwind a little; we'll start up where we left off tomorrow," he said as they scattered and departed the training area to engage in their own separate pastimes in the tower. Ben had to pause and consider again if accepting the position of team leader for this new group of people was the correct course of action. There are around twenty-six members on this squad, not counting himself, or thirty if you include guys like Steel, Rufus, Tikki, and Plagg, and of all people, that makes him the leader. He didn't even beg for the position, as he recalls, but they all seemed to think he had what it took to be the best pick.

Ilana was concerned as she observed Ben's little well being and inquired, "Ben, are you okay?"

Ben turned to discover that the only people still in the tower were Ilana, Jack, Rex, Zak, Max, and Steel.

"I'm fine," Ben assured her as he prepared to leave. He said, "I need to do something," and headed to the elevator to go down to the meeting room in the part of the tower that was underwater. The omnitrix was then connected to the computer and all of the information from the tower, where multiple holographic images appeared, was collected. Steel had gotten photos from their most recent mission that are visible through the omnitrix system, including images of the mystery buyer and the S.A.R.C. Commander as well as the blueprints Zak had given out detailing the hybrid technology."All of this raised a number of concerns, including who the buyer was, for which there didn't seem to be any solutions. How did they obtain a cutting-edge piece of extraterrestrial technology, and who were they exactly? What connects the S.A.R.C. to them more closely? The more important question is when and how they plan to employ the hybrid technology they are creating," Ben said as he continued to compile all of the data from S.A.R.C."

"Dude, you're looking through that stuff, again?"

He gasped in shock as he noticed Rex, Zak, Max, and Steel standing at the entryway. "Guys, what are you doing here?" Ben asked.

Rex added, "Not to be rude, but we noticed that you look like you're searching for something after a hard evening of playing Sumo Slammer until dawn." Zak, Max, Steel, and Rex moved forward and looked at the pictures.

"This is what? The third time you continue to look at this?" replied Zak.

Max agreed by nodding. "Yeah, bro. Try and relax a little."

Ben continued to peruse the papers and added, "Believe me, if I had something better to do, then I'd take care of it. But, I am not sure right now. Ever since you all appointed me as leader, this is pretty much my responsibility to find out what we are unfamiliar with about this case. I've spoken with Octus, he even made a few calls to Solomon, and yet we haven't exactly come up with something concrete." He slumped down. "If it wasn't enough that we've had zero words from any S.A.R.C activity, it's like they woke up and vanished like ghosts or ninjas."

Rex pushed. He jokingly taunted Randy and Danny about their ninja and ghost abilities, saying, "Maybe you could take a few lessons from them."

Max pointed to Ben who had a problem on his hands and said, "Dude, not the time to talk about Randy and Danny. Look, Ben. Just because you're the leader now, doesn't mean that you have to work yourself up to the bone. So far, you haven't had a single emergency on our earth. Perhaps take this as a chance to hang loose. When was the last time you and Kai dated?"

"If you may be aware, Kai and I broke up two years before the Novatron invasion start, and I also have a scar from Nelius on the left side of my face. I can't say I wasn't the most attentive boyfriend Kai had ever had, so we decided to break up permanently while maintaining our friendship. "While he would have liked to meet all of his other friends and family, he still had other commitments. We formed a team, bought this tower, and were determined to complete that task. "Guys, I'm not sure. Even if the others were to agree, would they?" Ben retorted, "Great leadership cannot be inspired by the team leader leaving in the dark.

"Let us handle the team, dude. You simply need to move on and enjoy yourself." He was instructed by Zak.

Ben realized he had no chance of convincing his four closest superhero friends that he could handle it. They all wanted him to take a vacation. But in truth, he was desperate for some leisure time with his buddies back home and didn't want to come out as a slacker to the other team members. However, if his four buddies are willing to fill in for him for the time being, there is really little need in continuing the conversation. Inputting the coordinates into his dimensional travel device caused it to create a portal, which he proceeded to go to while saying, "I guess getting one meal at Burger Shack wouldn't hurt but I would go to my Grandpa's place first."

The four of them saw him leave and thought they may as well go tell the others of the absence of their leader. "Guess we should go ahead and tell everyone. Let's hope that they won't be really mad." Rex said.

"I'm not mad about that."

Steel said, "Oh, my!" as the group of four leaped in shock at Ilana's abrupt appearance on the team.

"Jeez, Ilana. It's just you because you might make us faint by doing that," Zak said.

Ilana apologized, her face reddened, "Sorry, boys. But, I was worried about Ben a little, so I thought I'd talk to him, but you four obviously take care of that."

Rex shrugged."Well, it's no big deal actually. The five of us go way back before the legion was formed, and we all know when the guy's down. We're just looking out for our home boy." Four of them left her alone as they left the meeting room.

As she looked at the pictures, Ilana had yet another pang of remorse. She was aware that if she disseminated all of her knowledge on Mutraddi technology, it would be a lot simpler for everyone on the team, especially Ben, who was already under strain from his leadership responsibilities. However, Lance would undoubtedly want to prevent her from talking to anybody who wasn't aware of their shared history, and Octus would likely support him as well.

Ilana sometimes believes that it would be difficult for a princess to deceive her own friends.

She turned around when she saw Lance and Octus standing in the doorway, "I know what you're thinking," she said.

"Ilana, we all know we can't tell them unless we're absolutely certain that we're dealing with you-know-who." Lance said.

Ilana rubbed her arm and asked him just one thing. "But should we really keep it a secret from the others?" Ilana inquired.

"I'm sorry, Ilana, but we shouldn't cause any worries in our teammates." Octus said. "At the very least, we might want to give him the worst-case scenario and nothing further until we can be certain of the accuracy of this potential threat. Solomon agrees with this sentiment, but please try not to worry too much." Octus said.

which was simpler to say than to execute.

Earth 1: Bellwood

Due to the frequent alien attacks that occur on virtually every other day of the week, Bellwood is tranquil today because there isn't an alien invasion taking place. However, in this case, everything appeared to be quiet. At first sight, Ben appeared in the white portal vortex that had suddenly materialized when he stepped through Max's plumbing, excited, and took a big breath. Since nothing bad happened today, Ben said, "Ah. Home sweet home." After entering Max Plumbing, he went through the manager's room to find a teleportation pad. He stood there and teleported to a base in space, where he was welcomed by the plumbers. After going to the window, Ben observed how beautiful his home planet is and how humans and aliens coexist on it since he and his team protected the multiverse from the Novatrons.

"Ben? Is that you?" someone said as Ben turned to face a tall, thin extraterrestrial with orange eyes and periwinkle-blue fur, black markings on his face, and pointed ears. Not that he's complaining because he despises fame since he could be pursued by followers. His stomach, chest, and midsection are all white. He often carries his proto-tool over his shoulder and is covered in blue and black proto-tech armor. Rook has body-length black stripes running through his blue and white fur. It was Rook Blonko, Ben's best friend and partner besides Kevin.

Ben gave him a big smile and a fist bump, thrilled to see a familiar face. "Rook! What's up?" he yelled. "I Thought you'd be too busy being one of the new Magisters."

"Being a Magister is difficult. I've got so much work to do." Rook said.

Someone exclaimed, "Nonsense Rook you're doing just fine," when they came across an old man wearing a black shirt, a red Hawaiian shirt with a flowery pattern buttoned up, and a brown cargo vest on top of it all. He wore a brown and white cap and had whiter, more wavy hair. His eyes had tiny black dashes. His jeans were blue with white and brown stripes down each side. His shoes were gray with white stripes and black on the bottom. It was none other than Max Tennyson, Ben's grandfather.

Ben walked over to his grandfather, hugged him, and said, "Grandpa, it's great to see you."

Grandpa Max replied, "It's great to see you too Kiddo, how are you doing at your team?"

"Well being a team leader constantly gave me pressure." Ben said.

"What brings you here," Max questioned.

"Well, my friends chose to talk to me and let me know that I needed a break, so I made the decision to come see you and then go get a snack at Burger Shack." Ben said.

"Well if your team talks to you that you need some break then you need it because every leader needs some rest" Max said.

Ben hugged his grandfather once more and added, "Thanks for the pep talk Grandpa, I needed that."

"Well since you're now finished talking with your grandfather, guess we should go eat something to eat" Rook replied.

Ben stated as he and Rook were returning to Earth, "Yeah, let's go get some food to eat."

Burger Shack

Rook orders his favorite meatball subs from Sara's Italian Deli first, then they proceed to Burger Shack for Ben to get his favorite chili fries. Ben is still dejected and appears to be contemplating something as they are eating.

Rook enquired, "Ben, everything all right?" after observing Ben's depression.

"Ohh it's nothing Rook just thinking about something" Ben said.

Rook questioned Ben, "Is this about Ms. Green?"

Ben said, "What about her?".

"Well it's been two years since you two broke up," Rook said.

Ben responded, "It's okay, Rook. I'm.." before Rook interrupted him and explained what was wrong.

"Look, Ben, I know you're heartbroken right now about how you and Kai broke up for two years, but please, you have to tell me!" Rook said.

"But.." Ben is trying to say something but Rook interrupts Ben again as he begins to speak.

Rook responded, "Please, Ben, I'm trying to help you."

He must tell him the truth since he can no longer hide his feelings.

Ben responded, "Ok, you win."

Rook asked Ben as he turned to face him.

Okay, now explain the issue, Rook said.

"It's just that I thought that she was the one for me, Rook. I thought she liked me for who I was and not for my alien form." Ben said,

Rook said, "You mean Ben-wolf?"

Ben corrected him, "No, it's BLITZWOLFER!"

Okay, carry on, Rook said.

"My point is the fact that there's no girl who appreciates me for being what I am." Ben replied.

Rook questioned, "What about Ms Yamamoto?"

"Oh, Julie, she's okay, but she wanted to spend a bit more time with her than save the world." Ben said.

Rook inquired once more, "Why Ben?"

"Because being a superhero is not easy, Rook. You don't have time to enjoy living with your girlfriend while saving the world, plus she's much happier with that French guy than that boring old me." Ben said.

I didn't realize it was difficult for you, Ben, so I'm sorry about your previous relationship, Rook stated as he apologized to Ben.

Ben replied as he never blames Rook but praised him for his support, "It's okay, Rook. I could tell you were trying to cheer me up."

Ben is alright, which made Rook glad. Then, Rook inquired about what Ben was doing to his new team. Rook said, "So how are things going with your team?"

"Well honestly it's great since I met some new friends there." Ben said while they kept talking.

Ben informed Rook about one event that occurred in the Photon cruiser that involved Boone, sharks, and underwater. "So, this Boone dude thought he could just touch the eject button on your ship without even knowing?" Rook said.

"Yeah, it took Me and Rex to get rid of those crazy sharks and the outcome was not pretty. I can tell you now that we are thinking of labeling every button on the ship's controls, just for our sake...and Star well she constantly does something destructive she might blow us up on the ship." Ben said.

Rook remarked, "Well that is a bit too much to handle," as he and Ben started laughing at what they had been discussing.

However, before they could discuss what they were doing, a call for Max Tennyson is received by Ben's Omnitrix and Rook's plumber badge.

Ben greeted his grandfather by saying, "Hey Grandpa, what's up?" using his omnitrix.

"We have trouble, Ben; It's Charmcaster" Max said

Rook questioned, "What does Charmcaster want?"

"I don't know, but I know there is something bad happening now." Max replied.

"Got it, Grandpa Rook, and I will go there," Ben remarked as he activated his Omnitrix and slammed the dial, transforming himself into a feline-like alien wearing a black and green costume. He has blue hands, legs, and a portion of his skull. On his hands and legs, he has lengthy fur. He has a green pentagon mark on his forehead and big cat ears. He has a thunderbolt-like pattern along his chest, a triangle-shaped nose, and the Omnitrix insignia on his chest.

"Fasttrack" Fasttrack yelled as he grabbed Rook and headed to where Chamcaster is.

A girl was dressed in a magenta coat with purple edging. She wore a black crown on her head and a purple dress below, with a pink ribbon around her waist. Black fingerless gloves were also on her hands. She was wearing a long, dark purple dress with a cerise pink jewel at the top with a golden border. Purple and gray hues border her stark white hair. Her hair is pulled back in a ponytail. Golden earrings and gothic "Eye of Horus" eye makeup complete her look.

It was Charmcaster

In order for Charmcaster's plot to succeed, she has to lure someone, which is why she is currently wreaking havoc on the city.

A demanding Charmcaster exclaimed, "GREETINGS BELLWOOD, I WON'T HARM THE CITY YOU GIVE ME BEN TENNYSON!"

She turned around to see Rook and Ben arrive at the scene after Ben had been converted back into a human.

"Well well if It's the Great Ben Tennyson, Savior of the Universe and his partner in crime Rookie." Charmcaster replied.

Rook corrects her, "IT'S ROOK! Charmcaster."

"It doesn't matter now because for I CHARMCASTER, THE FORMER RULER OF LEGERDOMAIN and former owner of the power of the ALPHA Rune shall destroy you Ben Tennyson!" said the Charmcaster.

But before Ben could use his Dimension transporter, Charmcaster managed to damage it in some way by blasting it.

Ben yelled "Hey" as Charmcaster fired at Ben's Dimension transporter to get in touch with the Ultra Legion but its systems were damaged by Charmcaster.

Charmcaster remarked, "Sorry but you can't contact your friends to help you," alluding to Rex, Zak, and Max Steel, but she is unaware that Ben is attempting to contact his team for assistance.

They were immediately attacked by Charmcaster's minions.

"Rook, take care of them, and I'll deal with Charmcaster." Ben said as he forgot to pick his dimensional transporter.

Rook replied, "Agreed."

Ben turned on the Omnitrix and slammed the dial, transforming himself into a tall, powerful tiger with a human physique, orange fur, and brownish stripes on said fur. He is dressed in black pants with white stripes that resemble tigers on the thighs and a green and white pattern on the legs. His knuckles are adorned with two claws that can enlarge.

"Rath," Rath yelled.

"LET ME TELL SOMETHING CHARMCASTER FORMER RULER OF LEDGERDOMAIN AND PROBABLY THE CRAZIEST CHICK IN THE UNIVERSE. RATH IS GONNA BEAT YOU UP AND BECAUSE RATH IS AWESOME IN BEATING PEOPLE UP!" Rath stated

That makes no sense," Charmcaster remarked.

Rax said, "I KNOW!"

Ben charged toward Charmcaster, but Charmcaster responded by hurling a purple disc in Ben's direction.

"AHHHHHH LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING CHARMCASTER WHO USE PURPLE MAGIC STUFF TO SHOOT RATH. RATH ISN'T AFRAID A LITTLE MAGIC BECAUSE RATH IS INVINCIBLE." Rath yelled.

Charmcaster remarked, "Oh yeah how about you play with my latest pet." She then conjured a big rock minion that was larger than Rath.

"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING BIG ROCK DUDE WHO'S SIMPLY BIGGER THAN RATH. NOBODY I MEAN NOBODY IS TALLER THAN RATH BECAUSE RATH IS BIGGER THAN EVERYBODY." Rath screamed.

"Wow you must have the smallest brain in the universe of that Alien brain of yours" Charmcaster said.

When Rath was about to fight the golem monster, he exclaimed, "LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING CHARMCASTER WHO SIMPLY SMARTER THAN RATH. RATH IS SMARTER THAN EVERYBODY AND RATH WILL DESTROY THIS GIANT ROCK DUDE." However, the monster was knocked down by Rath with a single punch.

" You can't defeat my Monster, Tennyson," Charmcaster said.

RATH yelled, "OH YEAH!

Have you ever considered Tennyson? Charmcaster questioned.

"Rath doesn't think because Rath is awesome." remarked RATH.

Well, Charmcaster stated, "Your ego will be your downfall."

"Yeah come on. YOU WANNA PIECE OF RATH! WELL COME GET SOME!" said Rath.

Rook was occupied controlling both rock minions with his proto-tool when Rath, who had been launched by Charmcaster's enormous Monster, unexpectedly knocked both of them to the ground.

"Ben, are you alright?" Rook said.

"LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING ROOK WHO SUPPOSED TO DEAL WITH THESE GUYS. RATH IS MORE THAN OK BECAUSE RATH IS ANGRY." Rath yelled

Charmcaster asked, "Awwwwww is the little kitty angry?"

"KITTY! NOBODY CALL RATH A KITTY BECAUSE RATH IS NOT A KITTY!" Rath yelled.

"Tell me, Tennyson, how you intend to defeat my Monster in this situation, "Charmcaster demanded.

Rath said, "With this."

Ben transformed into Ultimate Rath (5yl design) after slamming his badge on his chest.

"THE ULTIMATE RATH! "Ultimate Rath yelled,

"Gonna say Tennyson, your transformation never ceases to amaze me but you're no match to My Monster." The charmer said.

When Charmcaster orders his Monster to attack Ben, Rook unexpectedly blinds the Monster.

Ben right away!" Rook yelled

Charmcaster was outraged that Ben had vanquished her Monster, cutting it in half right away.

Charmcaster yelled, "NO I WON'T ACCEPT DEFEAT!" because she doesn't want to concede defeat.

Ultimate Rath yelled, "YEAHHHHHHHHH RATH DEFEATED YOUR PRECIOUS BIG MONSTER! WHY ARE YOU GONNA CRY!

She was about to cast an effective spell at Ben when her pink charmcaster eyes began to shine.

Tennyson, you've irritated me to the point that I'm ready to die, remarked Charmcaster.

Rook was trying to get Ben's attention by screaming, "BEN GET OUT OF THERE!" He was not allowed to approach her.

Because he is still in the Ultimate Rath created, Ben didn't pay attention.

Ultimate Rath said, "YOU WANNA PIECE OF RATH CHARMCASTER! YOU GONNA GET IT PRINCESS!"

Rook yelled "BEN NO!" before it was too late.

Ben and Charmcaster collide, and there's an explosion there. Ben and Charmcaster are nowhere to be seen once the smoke is cleared. Only the explosion's mark was left, but as Rook picked up Ben's dimensional transporter, he noticed that the system had only little damage and was in the process of rebooting.

The plumbers were then contacted by Rook. making them aware of Ben's disappearance.

"This is Magister Rook to Plumber HQ, we have an emergency. BEN TENNYSON JUST WENT MISSING I REPEAT BEN TENNYSON WENT MISSING." Rook stated as he sent his message regarding Ben's disappearance. Without his dimensional transporter Ben might not find a means to get home.

Earth 5: Sherman

After Ben left for his hometown, the other Legion members interpreted this as a sign to spend the rest of the day at their leisure, without the demands of dealing with emergencies. Some of them decided to take advantage of this by playing video games in the common area on the top level, where they were about to play a cooperative game of Zombie Mayhem. The players were Danny, Rex, Manny, Randy, Jake, Max, Steel, Adrien, and Ron. "Okay, guys. "Here's the arrangement of items, we gotta go through dozens of undead zombies in order to make it through the level, at least that is how it went for the first few games." The monkey master clarifies. "They switched it around for this installment to include more power-ups along with extra bosses."

Danny looked assured, "Ron, you are talking to a video game expert. It might not be one of my favorite video games, but I tend to be a quick learner."

"Afterwards I should show you guys Ultra Mecha Strike 3 someday. Trust me, this is where you'll have trouble." Adrien stated to them. "Took me a long time to get to the final stage and even then, it took longer until completing it."

Rex's eyes widened, "Wait, you managed to beat that game?" "Dude, Noah and I were unable to get past the first level. I mean, it's not Sumo slammers, yet it's still hard."

"Sumo Slammers? That sounds easy, it's basically a game about Ishiyama versus Kenko the Shapeshifter, Rex." Max responds.

Steel continues, "Morally questionable, too."

Rex, though, stands up for his and Ben's cherished video game series. "Oh, it may seem easy to you, Max. But trust me, it allows you to perfect your battle style against Kenko the shapeshifter, and not to mention, it helps pass the time. I mean Ben's a pro in that game."

Manny instructs them, "Eyes up, amigos. It's starting."

Jake is getting ready. "Aw yea, it's on now!

After the timer has started, they start their campaign as hordes of zombies swarm around them and they launch their assault. Pretty quickly, they were able to get into it easily since their only focus was on attempting to win the game. Randy exclaims joyfully as his character gains additional attacking abilities and the sword expands, "Ooh, look. I got a power up!" They were being monitored by June, Aang, Steven, Star, Marco, Sashi, Penn, Jenny, Kim, Marinette, and Boone who were in the kitchen area.

"Pfft. Video games involving fighting zombies are worthless compared to the real thing." Sashi says.

Steven looks across at Boone. "Seriously?"

"It was just a single time which was enough for me. I even turned into one." Boone said.

Penn scoffs, "Repeatedly, I might add."

Star says, "So, guys." "Since we have an entire day to ourselves, what should we do?"

Kim sighs. "Whatever we want, Star. Since there's no emergency or big mission, we are free to remain here and do our own thing. I might have to finish up on a term paper later, though. Like other people would be doing at this moment?" Kim stared at Ron. Ron still prefers playing video games than completing any of his homework, even while in college.

The Mewni princess then had an insight. Star summoned up many pups, shooting their laser eyes as they ran around. "I know, we can play with the laser puppies!"

Marinette escaped a fire with a "Gah!" "I'll never get used to her level of magic."

One was pursuing her, and her Kwami was drifting away from him.

Then, as the remainder of the team hurriedly approached, the doors slid open. Newton announced to them, "Everyone. We have a situation! and how did these canines get inside our base?" He then picked up and examined a laser puppy that was on the floor. He scarcely flinched as a laser came out, nearly missing him, which made him more curious. "Fascinating."

Kim swiftly responded, on high alert as they entered, "Star summoned them. What's the emergency?"

Lance then yells to the ones who were wasting time, playing video games, "We'll need everyone's attention for this. That means you all need to stop goofing off!"

But Ron responded, "We're about to level up."

Kim yelled, "Ron!"

Kim's voice was enough to get him to stop, if reluctantly. To the dismay of the boys, he had to stop the game and save their progress before going to investigate the issue. He said, "Fine. Sorry, guys, but the fun police are here. This better be serious. Because no one interrupts my game time. So, unless we find the buyer, I will be extremely displeased."

Zak held out his gadget and said, "Trust us, Ron. This is serious. We got a distress call from Ben's dimensional transporter. Someone picked up his transporter."

Ron remarked, "You mean someone stole it."

"Actually no it was Rook who picked up his transporter and told me that Ben disappeared along with Charmcaster and without his transporter he might not find a way to get back on our earth" replied Zak in a worried tone.

Marinette exclaimed, "Oh no, that's terrible," shocked that her celebrity crush had vanished from Earth 1 and unsure of where Ben had vanished to.

Max was shaking his head but also worried for Ben at the same time. "We tell him that he needs a break, and suddenly, he disappear out of nowhere"

"We must find Ben before it's too late" Ilana emphasized that she and her friends needed to find a means to locate Ben in the dimension he was taken to before it was too late.

Unknown earth

Suddenly, there was a flash, and Ben awoke from a bush.

"Ouuuuuuuuu my head man Rath is kind of a hot headed alien but Ultimate Rath is way more than that." Ben stated as he realized he should have transformed to DiamondHead rather than Rath.

Ben discovers his dimensional transporter is missing at that point.

"Oh great I forgot to pick up my dimensional transporter. How am I supposed to contact my team on which earth that I got transport" Ben said.

He suddenly realized that he was in a different earth, in a forest near to a park, and that he was no longer in his own earth.

Ben asked, "Hey, where am I anyway, and why does this place seem familiar to me?" as if he had been here eight years ago.

Ben noticed children playing in the park as well as adults and teenagers hanging around as he emerged from the forest, but something grabbed his eye to a young boy wearing a cape, and strangely Ben knew him.

"Hey I recognized him, that's the kid that I met when I arrived here as if I recognize this place I've been here before." Ben stated as he raced to view a sign that said "Gardenia Park" on top of the park.

Ben exclaimed, "I'm back at Gardenia," shocked to find himself back where he had first met Stella, the Winx, Dragon Wind, and The Wizard of Black Circle eight years prior. However, what bothers him is that this earth has not changed; it is still the same as he remembered.

"I can't believe I'm here, which means I might run into Stella again," Ben exclaimed as he recalled Stella. He recalled the two of them having a friendly competition and frequently insulting one another, but something changed between them. Ben was given a kiss on the cheek by Stella for helping to save the Winx from the evil version of themselves. He could still feel the kiss getting warmer as he touched his cheek while blushing. Although he was aware that she was older than him, he is anxious to see her again now that they are the same age and because he has feelings for Stella now.

Even though Ben decided to hide from Stella and the Winx today, fate will bring them together. Ben still wonders if he will run into them today.
