In the dark, not-so-distant future of the Pokemon world, the Pokemon League is the de-facto main governing body on the planet that has a stranglehold over both local governments and press. Their main headache is the highly classified threat of Pokemon that don't fall under the League's official power scales. And of course, the story begins with one such Pokemon meeting another.
